Driven Disciple. There's, like, four different builds I could see myself playing.

The most gimmicky is Privateer 1/Driven Disciple 6/Grammaton 10, which is an incredibly stupid build that at level 17 can make an infinite number of gun attacks so long as he continues to hit at point blank range, using Str to hit and damage, and each time he hits, he heals himself or an ally thanks to Extra-Strength Blessing giving him the ability to use Silver Crane's Blessing on every attack in a round.

Gun Kata + Sea Combat is a very silly combo. Being able to summon an infinite number of enchanted, loaded guns just makes it better.

I love Henshin Hero so much.

Currently looking at playing a weretiger-kin Henshin Hero for that delicious +Acrobatics and Jump as a racial SLA. +10 Acrobatics becomes +40ft horizontal with Heroic Leap, and at level 8, you can take Charging Finisher so that you can do a charge attack up to your *maximum jump distance*, ignoring the movespeed restrictions.

Something I hadn't immediately noticed is that Jump actually gets better as you level.

At level 9, I can use my SLA to give myself a +30 to acrobatics for 1 min/level. With Heroic Leap and Charging Finisher, that's a 120ft horizontal charge distance, or a 30 foot vertical leap. Plus my actual acrobatics roll.

For Paizo its the overmoderated boards and polite trolls. Also slow.

But for the 3pp and homebrew sections you don't have to worry about much rudeness or trolls, they keep to the Paizo book discussions and Martial vs caster threads.

Gitp I am not as familiar with, but the playtest threads were generally pretty great. The worst part about those were actually Gareth and Elric responding (or ignoring) feedback when they didn't feel like addressing the problems.

Sniper anon from last night. How is this for a sniper ability, just to start off.

This is written super unclearly, to the point where I'm not sure how it actually works. A competence bonus equal to half the bonus of each of his iterative attacks? Do you mean just the base attack bonus, rather than the actual attack bonus (i.e. BAB + Dex + Enchantment + Whatever)? Because that's extremely weird and not a good way to define that bonus.

It also seems to boil down to a 12th level character dealing +2d8 precision damage and getting a +4 to-hit bonus, in exchange for losing +2d6 sneak attack damage (which you could do on a target who isn't engaged in combat because flatfooted, esp. with the existing Sniper Slayer archetype) and not being able to full attack. That's garbage, either Vital Strike (as a standard) or just Full Attack will do way more damage.

Magical Child is weird. Basically it doesn't match the trope because apparently they didn't want it overlapping with the warlock, so instead it's some kind of crappy summoner/buffer/skill-monkey with a familiar. Vigilante in general is probably the best martial class Paizo has ever made, which is actually worth more than it sounds. Avenger is a great martial combatant with good damage, defense, pounce options, and a rogue skill list. You can do unarmed, THF, or fist and board pretty effectively. Stalker is harder to put together, but it actually uses the appearance line of class features in a way the avenger can't. You want to stack up as many Intimidate options as you can, especially stuff like Dreadful Carnage and Hero's Display, basically anything you can use to pop Twisting Fear without cutting into your action economy.

On a scale of "it'd be okay" to "what the fuck anon", how busted would a class based around having multiple identical familiars or things that act like familiars that can attack /for him/ be? I'll clarify. Crystal has made it very clear in multiple statements both on the Paizo forums and on her own Tumblr that her worldview is what she expects out of other people, and that not buying into it (Transgender people are all about the struggle especially MtF ones; you're close-minded if you believe against the morality of gay/lesbian/bisexual couples; etc.) means that not only are you against her, but that you are against what is "common sense" and "clearly the correct way of thinking". It's a startling amount of hypocrisy that she can say this with a straight face, while espousing her own version of these same flaws. I'm all for transgender rights and the union of any consenting couple, but Crystal Fraiser's belief that she is write and her word is law makes me sick.

Lorican Dragons of Ancient category or older actually project a variable demiplane around themselves at-will, and can change the energy, magic, gravity, etc conditions within. Inside that radius they basically override whatever the local conditions actually are. Of course, they've been immune to silly conditions like "this entire universe is fire and soul-destroying positivity" since they were young.

So it would be capable of burning out the thing that way, if planar conditions such as 'positive/negative energy plane' can affect a phylactery.
