Going to run Anima Beyond Fantasy
Any advice tg?
Also why does its artist hate pants?

Who doesn't?
This outfit confuses me the more I look at it.
Despite the art it has some lovely things in it.
But then more silly art...
>tfw you actually love all the art.

Its just so non functional.
>>48284292
Fucking look at this! Open toe plate boots.

>>48284375
Yeah, I still love it. It's fucking Anima bro, the only thing that is less realistic is fucking Exalted.
>>48282835
Don't. It's a bad system that is also awfully translated
>>48282835
Get the errata.
They released a v2 over in Spain, but they only translated the later books and never re-released the main book.
You will be saved a lot of headaches, plus pretty much every change is for the better. ONly downside is that there's a significant amount of the magical content changed to make it slightly less broken, so you'll need to dig deep through.
The rest is all skills and character creation and the occasional tweak to make things worthwhile, but it's all very, very helpful to making a good, interesting character, which is the best part of Anima.

Oh I do like this. I'm not familiar with the Anima system, so would someone translate this into the D&D system, 3.5 if it matters, since we all understand that?
>>48286763
It works the same as written, Presence is just a measurement of how much you can resist most "roll a save" effects. Everything has Presence from people, creatures, and objects.

Also, magic in Anima is on a scale from 1 to 100, with 81 and higher being impossible for mortals (i.e. You) to cast. So this spell is about the equivalent of a level 8 or 9 spell in D&D terms.
