Personally I'm a fan of Panzer Kunst. It's a highly variable martial art that allows you to continually evolve it as you encounter different styles. I'm also a huge fan of internal strikes, which Panzer Kunst has in abundance. Plus, should you ever need to fight in zero gravity, you're more prepared than most others.

Additionally, I submit that Alita is one of the cutest martial art senseis in the multiverse.

No.

Breakfast is not one of the four fundamental elements.

You can however be a breakfast person or even a breakfast wizard.

Or you can be a breakfast wizard elemental monarch of one of the four offered elements. Go with fire and call yourself Burnt Toast. Or slime and call yourself Yokey Joe.

>>
>>48247041
I am going to have to go with the style of the undefeated of the east. Dragonball Z is probably what most people would call the strongest but the only problem is that by that point it wasn't really Martial arts as throw around balls of ki and move around real fast so the artist didn't actually have to animate the fight.
Master Asia beat up mecha with his bare hands and fought an evangelion angel to a stand still. So I say the School of the Undefeated of the east is the strongest martial arts available in jump chain.

>>
>>48247115
And that's fair enough. I just kind of like the idea of having a bunch of eyes inside the brain that's just looking around and giving you sight beyond sight. Just makes me wonder what other bullshit happens when you do stuff like stack on magic eyes or worse, throw a Quantum Brain from Gundam 00 into it, since that quantum brain ends up being a direct copy of your current brain.

My first 5 years here are really boring, well at least I have plenty of time to think of a name for my new ship. I think perhaps, something to do with the force or magic would be ill advised in the current political climate. So perhaps something jump related. I think I'll call it Void Jumper. When 5 years are finally up, I steal all I can from the jerk who has been using me and my friends as decor. After that, we left the planet and began looking for tech to scan(and steal if imperial). I may have run a few missions for the rebels and smuggled some goods as well. Mostly I didn't interfere with the plot too terribly much other than stealing a few star destroyers and fighters and scanning them and stealing the tech.

Deja Fu. It's faster even than Quicksilver Style, in that it can allow you to strike retroactively, loop attacks, or dodge something that has already hit you.
I'll admit it's not the strongest in terms of raw power, but I don't think anything else can touch a Deja Fu master.

Again it depends on how powerful a thing it is, you could definitely stick them in your head but if they let you kill gods or blow up planets or whatever they'll probably react badly to the magic of getting them in your sockets and pop.

So here is a question.

Is there a method of getting around implanted Sharingan's "Always on" limit, besides, you know, covering it up?

I am considering usage of Toggle... would that work?

If I try to Sacrificial Bestowment the edgy eyes, will their eyes just naturally with experience progress into Mangekyou if I had it at the time of making a Magatama, or will they still need to have the "seeing a person die" requirement?

Speaking of Mangekyous:

What determines if I have just replaced my eyes with someone's eyes to use their eye powers, like Madara did with Obito's/Kakashi's eye, or tried it to gain Eternal Mangekyou? I seen some implication in anime that it's less of replacing the eyes and instead it's somehow merging them in a way, like Sharingans interacting that way. Otherwise two Mangekyou users could just swap eyes and grant themselves the Eternals, no?
>>
>>48247432
While I welcome any contributions, I'm... not entirely sure straight collaboration is a good idea, if for no other reason than I'm not particularly GOOD at it. But... you never know, give me a bit to get all my shit into a single doc and we'll see where it goes from there, I guess?
>>
>>48247633
Did you get around to putting some of the notes about how Duplication works with items and cybernetics and all that?
>>
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cKjUgLrDEbI

So we all know the whispers of the Old Gods can inflict madness, evil, and corruption. Is there a way to do the opposite, however? A sort of infectious, insidious "conscience" that will cause those infected to lose their taste for villainy?

Granted, the means themselves aren't objectively Good, but the end result would make a lot of places easier to deal with.
>>
>>48247757
No, no I did not. However I believe I said before that duplication would only copy clothing.
>>
>>48247618
I've considered it. Also considered a Hunson Abadeer type but I've figured that's definitely not going to work.

Lich-esque perk would have a bit of crossover with the Empress option of Vampire Monarch due to the whole mind control angle. Be that plus green flames, disintegrating shit, breathing death gas, necromancy and probably a bunch of other stuff I can't remember him doing.

If I were to do it at least some of the stuff in there would have to be part of the central perk and other stuff you'd have to pick up from combos (green flames coming from Elemental Monarch and so on).

Could possibly make it work but I'll have to play around with it.

>>48247677
Should be fine then.

>>
>>48248311
They actually sort of have that in GATE. The local fantasy world is a Rome-equivalent, and the role of the barbarian hordes at the gates is taken by rabbit-people. Sure, they look like sexy fanservice characters, but they're actual brutal worshippers of the death goddess who breed in huge numbers and swarm over the civilized portion of the world every so often. Zorzal's treated as an arrogant idiot for the most part by both characters and the plot, but considering that he managed to conquer and subdue the grasslands he must have been doing something right.
>>
>>48248197
>>48248273

It all comes down to what one wants in terms of "satisfaction." I'm satisfied perpetually traveling and that's fine, just as somebody else might not be satisfied until they find The Origin of all worlds, universes, and multiverses - and that's fine too.

And Judy becomes a legitimate cop, just going to show that her parents were wrong in her case.

>It's all in the mind: Men could do things like punching buildings to collapse, deflecting a bullet with their bare hands or snapping the ancient blade of ancients with their 2 fingers alone. Men could do those things...if they weren’t such pansies. But not you anymore! Those kinds of superhuman feats are your bread and butter- but not just having them, no. You can teach them, and they work! About anything that a normal person COULD do but can’t because they’re simple mortals (kick buildings, block bullets, etc.) you can teach a normal guy, and they’d learn how to do it. As a general rule: didn’t have the biology, can’t teach it. (Can’t teach a normal-ass human how to breath fire using something you have and they simply don’t.)

plus

>Country's Finest: You have the basic knowledge of how to work the Mobile Trance system, how to fight other Gundams and the whole kitchen sink on the Gundam Fights of the past and anything any fighter would know about the current one (no restricted information). You have training in 1 modern-day fighting style (Krav Maga, Jujitsu, etc.) and you know how to apply it to your Mobile Fighter. This also comes with the physical and mental discipline to perform all the techniques of your art to perfection- but they’re still just normal martial arts.

>>48248806
What's the third one?
>>
>>48248830
Well, I'd replace Country's Finest with Yes I Do Have To Yell The Name. But my third would be Hand Calm, Mind Serene for the emotional empowerment.

Some questions about the vampire monarch perk:

If you choose an alternate skillset, do you trade just the stuff like telekinesis and teleporting, or do you also lose the stuff like enhanced physical abilities and agelessness?

Does it give you an inhuman form?

Do you also have to deal with vampire stuff such as having to drink blood and burning in sunlight? Also, does this stuff stay post-jump or is it covered by the "lose your flaws" statement?
>>
>>48248830
>For the first
Actually look up what the school can do. Those three pitiful feats are NOTHING and do not encompass the style at all.

>For the second
This doesn't have anything to do with the school. It lets you fight in your Gundam and gives you knowledge of a mundane martial art. Not hte school.

>>48248806
No such combo mentioned in the jump.
>>
>>48248830
I think he gave us the crippled version because of the teaching effect, but honestly I would've rather have gotten the ACTUAL SCHOOL than this crippled version + the ability to teach the crippled version.
>>
>>48248767
Well you are sort of correct but I look at it as this is the starting abilities of the school of the undefeated of the east. You are no where near Master Asia's level. You have to train your way up to beheading giant robots with a scarf. Admittedly it doesn't say that but I think from it's description it's supposed to be the school of the undefeated of the east.
IF your not satisfied just have Master Asia train you or have Domon train you after the tournament.

>>48248891
>I look at it as
That's outside of what the perk says. Basically it's just your wank, and while I'm not one of those hostile dicks that'll attack you over it? It does mean that's not how it 'officially' works or what our understanding of the perk should be for discussion.
>>
>>48248871
>No such combo mentioned in the jump.
Not explicitly, no, but I imagine that's probably because Gundam Anon expected you to have the reading comprehension skills to figure it out yourself.
>>
>>48248908
>I imagine
This basically ties into >>48248900

It's an assumption born of nothing.
>>
>>48248885
I don't think that's crippled at all. "It's All In The Mind" plainly indicates that the crazy feats we associate with G Gundam are now par for the course for you. Combine that with "Countries Finest" to learn the martial arts /technique/ and you could totally be a student of the School of the Undefeated of the East.

At worst, you'd have to add the Old Mentor drawback, naming Master Asia as said mentor.

>>48248871
See above for my interpretation of how that totally does get you School of the Undefeated of the East.

>>48248862
See Above, and I don't think the calmness-empowerment and the yelling attack names part were integral to the "fighting giant robots on foot" martial art.
>>
>>48248900
Well yes and no. You are correct it is wank, however it is also a skill. Something that can be improved through further training and mastering.
With time and effort that you couldn't turn that crippled version in to the real thing or even surpass it as you have thousands of years and many learning perks to do so. It becomes a matter of how much time and effort you wish to invest.
>>
>>48248919
No, I'm not assuming a power the perks don't give. I'm assuming that you're intelligent enough to put together that if a power does ABC, and there are three perks each of which do A, B, and C, then taking all of those perks is the same as having that power. But maybe you're right and it was dumb of me to assume that you have basic reasoning skills.
>>
Basically, the jump-maker thought we didn't deserve the martial art in it's entirety.

And why did nobody say anything when it was dropped?
>>
>>48248981
Because it wasn't, and you're just trying to stir shit. Please go away.
>>
>>48248943
>lainly indicates that the crazy feats we associate with G Gundam are now par for the course for you
No it doesn't. It gives you a limited set of powers described in the perk.

>Combine
Still no evidence there's a combo.

>Countries finest
Only gives you a mundane martial art. Are you reading a different perk from a different universe?

>>48248944
>however it is also a skill.
No, it's a perk. Where is the indication it can be improved?

>>48248947
A power does ABCDEFG, there is a perk that does AB, a perk that does E, and a perk that does H. Nothing gives you the full martial art.
>>
>>48248981
Because with how entitled you're acting, I wouldn't think you deserve it either.
>>
>>48248868

1) Physical abilities and agelessness come with it regardless.

2) The jump gives you a lot of leeway with what your form is. You'd probably just be a paler version of whatever you'd look like anyway

3) Honestly not sure how to land on this. Probably that the weaknesses go post-jump. Food source would be blood or the colour red and I will have to clear that up.
>>
>>48249015
>A power does ABCDEFG, there is a perk that does AB, a perk that does E, and a perk that does H. Nothing gives you the full martial art.
Okay, you haven't actually said: What do you think is being left out?
>>
>>48249015
it outright says

>Those kinds of superhuman feats

Not

>those specific techniques

I'm beginning to entertain the possibility that you are either retarded or trolling.

>Only gives you a mundane martial art.

And those superhuman feats are now mundane fare to you, if you have that perk.
>>
>>48249031
There aren't any good resources for a full list of Master Asia's feats, sadly, but this video should show off a few things the jump doesn't have.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IAizwLfZbUA

>>48249087
That's too vague. What are these feats? You have to know, otherwise it's meaningless and can only reliably say you can do what's listed.
>>
>>48249087
Forgot one line to reply to

>And those superhuman feats are now mundane fare to you, if you have that perk.
This isn't responding to what you quoted there. It only gives you a mundane martial art., so what does 'those kinds of superhuman feats' have to do with it? Those martial arts don't contain any superhuman feats.
>>
>>48249128
Read your own post.

>What does the school encompass? what's missing?
>There's no good list or resources

but then

>The perk's too vague.

Gee, I wonder why it's vague!
>>
>>48249157
Well anon, I would presume that he person making the jump would be familiar with, or go back and watch, the entirely of G Gundam so they can accurately write the perks.

I am going to try and be very nice here. I believe civility is an important and sadly an oft forgotten part of a meaningful discussion...
It is a martial art. It a martial art that you can train other people in... If you can train someone in it, then it is a skill. Which means you can improve it. Skills can be perks anon.
>>
>>48249173
if a perk permitting you superhuman feats of the sort demonstrated by the show isn't good enough for you, I suppose you'll just have to go fuck yourself and lament being such a hopeless autist that you need everything spelled out by the letter for you.
>>
>>48249028
Oh, and I can't believe I didn't think to ask this earlier, but I want to request that The Moon skillset also gains the ability to open locks by repeatedly shouting "pigs" at them, just because of how memorably weird that power is. Probably with the caveat that the strength of the lock is directly proportional to how many times you have to shout at it.
>>
>>48247633
If you can make it a text and images pdf rather than a bitmap pdf it'd be a lot smaller without losing any quality.
>>
>>48249206
First to devolve into insults. It's a perk that lets you do those three things, anon.

>>48249200
>It is a martial art
It's actually not. It tells you things you can now do, it doesn't call them a martial art or a skill or anything like that.
>>
>>48249188
Dubs confirmed - Anti-Spiral is a bunny.
>>
>>48248463
This. Inquiring minds want to know.
>>
>>48249248
>Those kinds of superhuman feats are your bread and butter
>Those kinds of superhuman feats
It is clearly providing examples of the power level it's giving you, not limiting you to those specific three things.
>>
>>48247308
Well, let's see. I singlehandedly slayed a dragon with the ancient secret oriental spell "BRACKBRASTU CREAR," completely controlled a sea monster from the depths of hell, won a major dueling tournament, and then brought back a Dark Lord's head.

Yeah, Harry Potter was a fun jump. You know, when I wasn't being ostracized for being the next Dark Lord.
>>
>>48249290
But what are those kinds of other feats you can do? As I said before, it's too vague to say, and thus we only have the three listed that we can declare that we can actually do. There's no way to know if we can do the stuff shown >>48249128 or any of his other feats.
>>
>>48249322
What do you want then? An exact description of "you can lift x bounds and and move at y speed and jump at z height" that covers every single action someone who was supernaturally fit could conceivably do? No one writes perks like that. Deal with it.
>>
>>48249248
>It's actually not. It tells you things you can now do, it doesn't call them a martial art or a skill or anything like that.
You know what, given the setting, the reason for the perk. I am afraid we are just going to have to agree to disagree. We clearly interpreted the perk in different ways.
>>
>>48249367
An actual perk to give you the School of the Undefeated of the east would have been preferred to the... neutered creature we received.

And actually, most perks are written to tell you exactly what they're capable of. Not hard numbers, but listing out feats and examples.
>>
>>48249214
Good idea. I'd forgotten about that as well.
>>
>>48249403
But the perk DOES list feats and examples, and you were bitching about that too.
>>
>>48249322
>>48249403
>But what are those kinds of other feats you can do?

>Men could do things like punching buildings to collapse, deflecting a bullet with their barehands or snapping the ancient blade of ancients with their 2 fingers alone. Men could do those things...if they weren’t such pansies. But not you anymore! Those kinds of superhuman feats are your bread and butter-
Its right there. Read the fucking perk.
>>
>>48249429
Yes it does, and nobody is arguing you can't do the things it lists. The problem is that it doesn't allow you to do other things the School is capable of.

Guys.

Remember how at one point thread talked about this dude who is the nicest dude in bleach, by inserting himself into your history so that you think he was always your friend and you don't notice it?(Unless time shenanigans blocking powers work)

He appeared. Again. To unfuck up Ichigo.

And that made me realize something important. His powers literally work similar to what we have seen Yhwach do. Cutting the ground lets one modify its history to alter the structure and set traps there as if he had done it long ago, it was kinda utilized by Yhwach.

What if Yhwach is that person after being sent literally into future?

Hahahaha, yes! YES! I now have much better control over my Zerg, but that's not the important part. I can give people immortality! Ok, not really, but I can overcome aging and that's the first step. I'll take control of the ants and lead them to live peacefully with the humans. I even have the ultimate bargaining chip with all the rich old men of the world, giving them the gift of youth. I mostly did it this way so I could later import my living spaceship as a companion to get them some nice perks that would complement their spaceship status. I actually took Gaia from EVO, imported her in the Matrix so she could be an AI, and then imported her in Symbiote so she could be my symbiote partner who would then get her own body again post-jump. All so that she could grow into a planet-sized mass and be an incarnation of a planet again. Omega Self-Molecular Manipulation from X-Men means she can even turn herself from biological material to a proper planetoid.
>>
>>48249914

Instead of being dependent on you gifting them with the tech to duplicate things and being fucked if it ever breaks, they can just do it on their own.

If a moon is made of fire, is it still a moon or would it technically be a battle SUN? Yet another question that science will be tasked with revealing.

But first, I should really chuck Finn's copy of the Enchiridion in the Warehouse so the Lich never has a hope of accessing the multiverse.

And Gunther needs to eat a full power Barrel Replica shot to the face too before he remembers he's Orgalorg

The point being-this world is really kind of a shithole under the sappy exterior. The cosmic personification of extinction occasionally shows up, and if Lemonhope's episode is correct, the Candy Kingdom is canonically doomed to collapse at some point in the distant future.

Not that anyone's going to believe me.

So I'll just make a name for myself as the kingdom's wondrous fire-engineer, when I'm not wandering off to tinker with things or duke it out in an escalating prank war with another reality warper. Indulging my inner ADD-addled child just long enough to get my game face on for when a serious threat shows up.

And if Finn and Jake ask me why my smile seems forced at times, I'll just tell them it's gas from bad charcoal or something.

Yion wasn't keen on being a planet, until I explained there are people worse than Niardi out in the multiverse.

I like it as an option because it attaches a Greenhouse to your Warehouse after the Jump ends. Besides, I have a feeling that with enough time, effort, and magic a Jumper could replicate the special soil to allow for more trees to be grown at once.

I'm not. I just prefer having a fleshy bag of meat to run around in. Feels... right, I guess, even if I've been a genius loci ever since SBurb(genetics bullshit, magic bullshit, and geneforge bullshit, combined with the genetics of the Genesis Frog). That said...

>>48250446
No, it really doesn't. If you're a planet, and have control of your own biomass(see: Symbiote, Marvel's Kinesis[Autokinesis], or Prototype for the zombie-flavored variant), you can grow yourself a chamber with as many copies of yourself, carrying your genetic code, as you want in it to have sex with all your waifus at once.

It wouldn't though. The perk doesn't actually indicate you can do anything the Undefeated School of the East is capable of, besides the feats listed, which aren't indicative of any of the actual abilities given by the perk.

Misquote?

I've had a lot. My first 25 Jumps were pretty action packed. Now that I think about it, I think the only reason I'm as sane as I am at this point is the perks I've picked up to specifically help me with that.

Hellsing and Alien I've both talked about before. Hellsing because I failed, or rather didn't try to, stop the Nazi invasion of London. Alien was a more in-my-face kind of bloody that was far more disturbing because it was more personal.

Black Lagoon was a non-stop bloodbath. I was forced to level the town and kill all the major characters. So I did it with Warhammer 40K tech. It's was not as much fun as it sounds.

FTL and LoT probably top the charts though. In FTL I was responsible for a lot of the upgrades that allowed the war to continue on for so long. LoT for, well, obvious reasons. It's hard to compete with Warhammer for sheer scale of bloodbaths.

While I'll try to find reasons for it at times, I actually really loathe the idea of destroying things just by being too big for my surroundings. It reminds me too much of GTS murder-fetishists, so perks to control my size and perks that let me be as graceful and in control of my actions as possible are pretty much guaranteed buys for me. There is nothing worse than indulging that bullshit of people wanting to see giants being jackasses and murdering others by stepping on them or some shit. Nothing.

So basically, >>48250536 has it right. Even if the idea of being huge brings childish glee to my heart. I will blatantly admit to making armor designed to make me look like a mech and wearing it in mech settings to punt others around, though.

>>
>>48250677
Nah. The perk wouldn't actually make you any faster or stronger than you already were, the perk just gives you the ability to do things you could already do with your level of physical strength, and it also says you can teach others how to do things they could already do. So, not only does the perk not let you have Undefeated of the East, it wouldn't actually give you anything. The perk is actually useless and doesn't do anything.
>>
>>48250726
>I disagree with that, on a fundamental level
Then you're a cuck.
>>
>>48250713
Yeah, this got wild. I was abandoned on the moon, which thankfully has a breathable atmosphere, and spent quite some time flying from the surface of a celestial body to the ground. After recovering I then spent massive amounts of time crafting a set of golems to guard me even as I used the power of Utility Meister, Anti-Demon Wavelength, and Soul Menace to keep the Madness down to a dull ache. Once I was done with the small army of constructs I then used the Dragon Magic Hording to seal away most of my magic behind a spell a bit stronger than Soul Protect and then I took to wearing an eye patch for the next decade, which made me look awesome, while I continued forward learning, thankfully I wasn't noticed and I managed to stick to the NOT class. Anyone wants to see my the reason I wear an eye patch gets paperwork from the Briefcase. From the looks on their faces it weren't nice.
When the EAT class had shit hit the fan in a horrifying way I was part of the NOT class that had to work whilst the EAT class did everything in their power to correct the problems Asura was dropping all over the world. I managed to do a few things like use my Anti-Demon Wavelength to mitigate the effective Madness of the main cast by bumping into them every so often and giving them a nice relaxing Soul Resonance, though after a while those who gained Soul Perception noted me and confronted me. I told them the truth, partially, that I couldn't truly control my power and that I didn't much care because my Soul Wavelength was basically a 'Therapy Wavelength'. They all took it as an odd thing but not too out of place and continued through the plot, until Black-Star and Death the Kid came to me on purpose to slacken the grip of Madness that overtook them during the Book of Ebon. I became a background/support character whose entire shtick could be summarized as 'the guy who keeps the main characters stable enough to control their Madness' and I was okay with that.

And here we go again with grinding the meaning of the word "useless" into dust.

>>
>>48250803
This is the exact same entitlement that has jumpmakers avoiding thread to begin with.

Any time anons aren't handed the best toys in the setting automatically, they crucify the people who gave them the setting in the first place. And yet they wonder why we lose jumpmakers to that attitude.
>>

>>
>>48250826
And everything I've been reading tells me the clones aren't sapient at all, and are in fact, just one mind (the user's) in multiple bodies.
>>
>>48250773
I mean, kind of, but I'm also in a bit of a different situation. I don't so much have waifus as I am a member of a massive harem, that no individual, including myself, is in actual control of. The founders, myself included, have more say than others, but even then, they can't tell people who to fuck or not fuck. The only thing they can actually tell people is whether or not they can induct someone new into the harem or not, and there's six founders, so it's put to a vote. In the case of a tie, it's put to a vote from the rest of the harem.

>>48250796
Not if they don't have a mind or soul of their own and are under your complete and constant control, and are, like >>48250714 said, more like limbs than separate bodies, they're not. But then again, both sides of this argument are just opinions, so, you can make whatever moral decision you want.
>>
>>48250507

Don't worry Red. It's not fun to unleash your final form all the time. It should be a glorious fight to require you to release yourself fully and crush those who stand before you with impunity.
>>
>>48250830
Fuck off. The perk is actually useless. It states outright that you can't do anything you couldn't already do. If that isn't fucking useless, than nothing is, although you'll probably point out how 'nothing is useless' to argue your stupid semantics like you always fucking do.
>>
>>48250866
Why are you falseflagging?
>>

Ambush 1000
Master Strategist 1300
Kiith Jumper 1400
Leeroy: Pilot, Ace, Subsystem Specialist 300
Non-Combat 1200
Turncoat 1000

Weird I didn't have a build for this. It's also pretty good so I wouldn't have skipped it. It's a mystery.

Went for Fleet Leader as although I preferred the Tactician capstone I felt it had other stronger perks.

Took Ace as it's a good pilot perk and it's cheap. Plus I sort of think I would be naturally bad at flying a spaceship. Just a hunch.

Tactical 'Genius' seems to be about creating semi-insane plans that work and I'm all about that.

Inspiration does what you'd guess. Good for a freebie though.

Leadership is less predictable as it's more about where to put people than the standard charisma based leadership perks. Still, co-ordinating attacks is neat.

Ambush is about co-ordinating ambushes.

Master Strategist gives some planning and increases your chance for success the more time you have to plan which is cool. Seems like there's a lot of crossover between this, Ambush, Leadership and Tactical 'Genius' so I figure put them all together and you get a pretty noticeable boost in tactical ability. Neat as I tend to stack that sort of thing anyway.

Imported my companion as I had 100 CP leftover, gave him one of the other capstones which I figured might come in handy. Basically a weakness noticing perk which I already have tonnes of but I don't believe he does.

Non-Combat means I'm flying a toaster to start with.

Turncoat means I'm flying a toaster with "I am your enemy, fuck you guys" written on it. Probably going to be one of the axe guys as I looked up the examples of enemy factions and they had the best emblem.

I'm going to want to steal a new ship.

Probably going to slot this in not long after LoT as this'll be like a holiday in comparison due to having powers.

As for Klein the guy spent large periods of time in Japan trying, and failing to find a Katana Weapon that would sync with him. Some chick who turned into an Celtic great-sword liked him well enough, and their sync was so good it was praised by fucking Stien as being 'seamless', but he couldn't ever find a katana-girl. I have no idea why a girl who turns into a Celtic great-sword would be like her. She's a weirdo who is an obvious Japan-phile and has sometimes she just shuts down for extended periods of time because too many people,
I podded her because Klein asked me to. Her name is Annis and they're cool as friends, though I think Annis is just happy that Klein accepted her at all.

>>
>>48251567
Being a Stepford wife who's not a robot sounds more like a drawback than an origin to me. If whoever makes it can come up with enough stuff to fill it, then it could work, but I'm concerned the nature of the origin would discourage people from taking it unless it gives points.

Another fun fact, the 50's atheistic is something the movie added too, in the book they were dressed like playboy bunnies. I don't know if this is true or not, but I heard the reason for the change is that the director's wife had a role, and he didn't want her to dress like that. Fortunately, I think the story meshed really well with the conformity of the 1950's in this instance.

That would matter, if it wasn't for the fact that was dealt with before she joined Overwatch. Which broke up 7 years ago.
Which is the issue here.

>>48251725
It's not that jumpy though. Reyes and Jack first made Overwatch a long time ago, others joined in.

The confusion comes from the fact that we don't know the exact times that each person became a member and yet "Decades" went by for the Overwatch program, that and the range of different ages calls for shenanigans.

I quickly found that the world was much crueler to me. I'd chosen an extra drawback just to challenge myself, but I quickly learned that I had managed to bite off more than I could rightly chew.
The first day involved me getting eaten by a small dragon, losing my left arm in the process, and having to cut my way out of said beast with a sword I pulled out, Ascalon a sword that deals greater damage to Dragon type monster that I'd kept, because it looked bad ass, from my times in SAO. It didn't get better after that.
Surviving my adventure was harsh, I lost two fingers on my remaining hand and my right leg. The ogress Baba-Yaga ate the leg and I lost the fingers to a cultist who I killed with Soul Menace to the brain. The ogress sorceress managed to turn herself into a toad at one point and I took a heavy hit due to overestimating my ability to tank a particularly annoying monsters attacks, adding five ribs broken.
After all was said and done, I finished off the first adventure and by the time I'd gotten to the Rites of Leadership I was begrudging my choice of drawbacks.
I'm very thankful for thin layer of plot armor that Fortune Favors provided me with. It was only because of a particularly handy, always there at just the right time, merchant of medicinal wears that I lived through some of the random encounters that I came upon.

It is about a superhero named Eighth Wonder who essentially amounts to female superman after her retirement, her career was full of enemies too weak to fight her and so their main strategy was to humiliate her publicly so that she would go away. Years after she gave up the cape she finds that her old enemy has returned and her daughter has taken up her old hero identity, the manga follows her in her efforts to protect her daughter from the same kids of humiliation she was once subjected to.

I thought it was in Skyrim but the Steed Stone only makes it feel weightless.
>>
>>48252402
There is exactly that fucking perk in PS238.
>>
Here's a question:
If you have, say, Mimic from Legend of Zelda, and a Drawback has someone casting a spell on you that you want before you start the Jump, is it kosher to wank that you now know that spell? You have memories of that spell being cast on you that you gained after you got the ability to copy spells.

Or, is that not enough? Do you need something better than memories, to see it in-Jump, to learn it?

I want to learn Midnight Bliss while I'm in Darkstalkers. I took the Drawback because I can apathy at it; the only reason I want those nudes of me is because I want to see whether or not they got my good side. And because, again, I want to learn Midnight Bliss.

So DDS part 2 is going at the same pace as molasses, due to both being busy and a lack of ideas, but I've been thinking about a jump I've already completed: DS2.
So, I just remembered that I was planning on adding a genderbent 'twin'(ala Miyako) as a companion, but I forgot to add it. That, and it has recently come to my attention that ALL the Bels, not just Beelzebub and Belial, were originally going to be bonus bosses. So, what I'm asking is, while I try to come up with some ideas for DDS part 2, do you guys want me to update DS2 with a new companion option and drawback, or is it fine as is?

>>
>>48252451
Eh, I think it's fine as it is really. Given the nature of what Miyako is i.e. a clarktech space janitor inserted into the timeline to make up for someone else's absence before the world reset I think that would raise more questions than it would answer, like whether or not you'd be on the top of Canopus' shitlist right after bunnyboy.

Thanks for offering, though. And good luck with DDS part 2.

Hmm, this is true though. While the Bel drawback can be worked with, there really doesn't seem like much of a reason to add in the twin. Maybe make it available only for Drop ins or something, with the justification that the Jumper is kind of like Miyako in this case, and the twin was the original? What do you all think?
>>48252502
Yeah, aside from some grammar corrections and typo fixing everything else will go untouched. Just a new drawback and maybe a new companion.

>>
>>48252581
Good question!
Developing a ripper into a scourge requires giving oneself over more and more to the archetype of the ripper as it transitions into a scourge.
If you want to develop a Scourge ability post-jump would mean having to perform actions that harken back to your dark impulse and the traits of the ripper and scourge.
I'd say that you would be protected from the frailty if you develop your scourge power post-jump.
And yeah, developing he other skills requires a lot of killing and "evil" actions.
>>
>>48252636

>>
>>48252451
Quick question about the DS jumps but how strong do they make you in comparison to the setting? There a perk in DS 1 that puts you on par with a 'very minor god'. Isn't that like level 40 in the context of the setting? What are your chances of being able to participate in the main plot if you only have insetting perks? Can you level grind to keep up?
>>
>>48252582
It really isn't. Not on it's own at least, not without something ridiculous like valeria's copy loop combo.
>>
>>48252636
It's just an SB tier powergarb though. That's why nobody actually talks about it.

Protip: A bunch of spunky kids end up becoming some of the most powerful players in the city by levelgrinding, epxloiting connections and fusing increasingly powerful demons.

>>
>>48252586
Well then, what do you suggest? I could also have the twin come as a drawback companion.
>>48252661
You could do it with in-setting perks, but it would be difficult. Remember, this is SMT, lighter and more hopeful SMT but still SMT. So your chances are about the same as if you took SMT with only in-setting perks. Also, uh, the minor deity thing was actually a reference to how Io, if fought during the Civil War, has the race Deity instead of human-wait, did you mean DS2? I don't recall a minor god in DS1?
>>
>>48252733
You could have it be an undiscounted thing.
>>
>>48252733
I think the twin being a drawback companion would make the most sense, since it'd essentially be the Yamato/Miyako deal. Perhaps there could be variants of it, where you can pick whether you're the original or the faker?
>>
>>48252755
Also I find it amusing you apparently hate drop-in as a concept so much you'd prefer to have it be undiscounted rather than make it cheaper for drop-ins to buy.
>>
>>48252755
The price isn't really the issue here, I was just trying to figure out how to justify it.
>>48252771
That works. Maybe Polaris created a twin to counter you, and so you'll have to fight them, and turn them to your side to fight Polaris, in a similar way to how the group fought Miyako and had to convince her to help them fight Canopus.

If you want a cheap copy loop combo for Ensoul though. Ensoul, and Generous Donation from Cardcaptor Sakura, and Assimilation from Claymore, then you assimilate an item made with ensoul, and then give the magic away with generous donation. Doing this you could also assimilate enchanted items, then use ensoul to make things with that enchantment. Course for the actual loop you need to ensoul something with generous donation, then ensoul and assimilate something, wait until your version recovers, have whoever you donated it to give it back, and ensoul the possibly doubled version and repeat.

Using that I did have some fun, like give all of my companions Evil's Bane from Legend of Zelda as an innate magical ability.

Heirlooms are basically just "you take the item in question, you awaken its inner personality, and it can transform into a human at any time while still having access to the abilities it had as that item"

This can mean its abilities manifest... in unique ways. But you're more or less turning your item into a physical companion. Not sure how to do anything with the "perks into companions" bit though. Of course, then you must consider that they count as both item and companion at the same time as far as imports go...
>>
>>48253477

I think it would depend on your willingness to dispense bad luck. After all, if somebody's losing, it's easy enough to turn that into your win.

Have fun basically making a spiritual energy bomb. Or somehow turning them both into a unique Metafortune energy. Either or.
>>
>>48253842
In a way it can work with fewer steps, but it's not like it's necessarily doubling at any step it just loops on itself. Have magic power, Ensoul an item with it, wait for the magic power you ensouled in an item to recover, Assimilate said item, ensoul another item with that then enhanced magic power, at this point you can dump the first item you assimilated, and assimilate the newer, stronger item and repeat the process. Using Generous Donation though lets you give the power from the item to another person, then you get rid of the now powerless item so you can assimilate the more powerful item. Then using an item Ensouled with Generous Donation you have that person donate that magic power back to you further enhancing that magic power, for the next item you Ensoul.
>>
>>48253987
I really feel like there's a better way to do that, which doesn't require wanking Assimilation as working the way you've interpreted it as.

>>48254031
I think there should be, but I don't know of any option in the chain to let you absorb an enchantment. But really it's about whether or not something you have Assimilated counts as enough apart of you for it to count for using Generous donation to give it away.

Nah, it's fine. Really, don't worry about it.
>>
>>48254090
Because you can only Ensoul items with a single magical ability at a time, and you create the item in question, you can't Ensoul items with multiple abilities. Ensouling something with Generous Donation that way would at most double the generous donation ability you have. Though I guess you could possibly do that with Armsfusion crafter from Aion, where you Ensoul one item with Generous donation, then another with the power you want, and fuse them together.

Just grab a bunch of perks that will make people forgive you and let you repent, it's fine.
I mean, it's what I do.

Hey! Generic Dungeon Builder has a good one. It's called "There's Still Good Somewhere?"
Also Shovel Knight has "Always Good In You", and Ben 10 has "I'm Hurt, Deeply Hurt"!
Go ahead, Anon! Stack those suckers and never have to face consequences for your shitty life decisions again!
>>
>>48254253
I guess this is my life now. You know, Coruscant has trillions of people, apparently. I doubt anyone would miss the criminal underworld...
>>
>>48254191
The stacking part isn't with the Armsfusion crafter in that version, it's in the use of Ensoul. The idea is you have absorb the ability you ensoul into something through some means, then ensoul what would conceivably be a stronger version of that power. I was just trying there to come up with a way in which you might get something you ensouled to give you the magical ability you ensouled in it.

Then again thinking it over more Ensoul does mention creating beings with the power as well, I guess you could make a being with the power you want enhanced, then have them use an item of generous donation to give it to you. Though it feels even cheaper to do it with a two perk combo with both perks found in the same jump.
>>48254204
I've never seen one that works on enchanted items.
>>
You know, if I'm going to do this, I might as well do it as quickly and efficiently as possible. So, if I make a clone of myself via the Teen Titan perk, and have it absorb a lot of Spiritia, do I then gain it when it refuses with me, or however that works?

Too bad. You get a huge list. http://pastebin.com/4pZ3usK9

>>
>>48254293
The way your loop works is that you Ensoul something, then take it back, at its core.

Beyond that, the significant difference is that you need an item to carry the power initially, and you need a way to reintegrate your power, and something to do with the item after you make the next Ensoul iteration of the recursive loop.

The answer to this is simple. Use a power transfer ability that isn't Generous Donation, like Lip Service, and Ensoul it into a third party.
>>
>>48254387
Aw, Red, you didn't have to do that. Thanks.

Urgh... My cynicism is screaming at me, but it's nothing to do with you, anon - more just what I'm potentially opening up abuse-wise.

Utarefson is fully capable of turning you into a vampire, yes. However, it's not jump-granted vampirism, meaning it's drawbacks would not fade post-jump - you'll have typical vampire weaknesses, and the need to drink blood. Driven by crosses, holy / blessed objects burn, sunlight is a motherfucker, that kind of thing. As for whether or not this grants Utarefson a degree of control due to technically being a "sire," THAT I leave up to you.

However, it would grant the same benefits Elizabeth has access to - magnified speed & strength, a toxic mist form, a swarm of bats form, a wolf form, and empowerment during the night-time hours.

Here's your updated loop; Ensoul something with Generous Donation, something else with Lip Service or an equivalent, then Ensoul whatever power you want to loop.

Transfer the power of Generous Donation onto whatever it is you want to loop, then Ensoul it onto another item, and transfer it onto the Generous Donation item.

Okay, looking through the HUGE list (thanks again, Red), and a question occurred to me: Several of the entries on that list, mostly the ones Dirge wrote, say things like "adds 10% to your base form's size each time". Do I add those in serial or in parallel? That is to say, if I bought a 10% size increase four times, would my size increase by a factor of 1.4 or would it increase by a factor of 1.1^4?

The Hourglass from Steven Universe, The Tape Measure Time Machine from Gravity Falls, High Level Dresden Files or Discworld Magic, Making a Wish in Madoka, Nasuverse 4th True Magic, and I think being a Supernatural Angel or having FF13 Antimatter tech might help.

>>
>>48254532
Why not just get the time machine from Chrono Trigger?
>>
>>48254597
Hmm... Well, I suppose it depends on WHEN the increase is applied, right? If you're just buying boosts to the same size increase, then it'd follow that when they're all applied simultaneously, it'd probably be a 40% increase.

However, if it was something you bought, then was applied, then bought again and applied, it'd follow to be the (1.1)^4 model.

That one's dependent on naturally-forming (or at least semi-natural, considering that it's implied that it's the spirit of the world doing it) time gates to function. Outside of rare and potentially dangerous stuff like the Chrono Trigger itself, it can only transport you to places that people are already time traveling to.

Nasuverse's second magic does parallel dimension type time travel, the fifth magic does some other kind of time travel that I don't exactly understand. The Forth true magic's thing is, we don't know what it does, but we are sure it's a thing.
>>
>>48254624
Only if you don't claim the perfect huge yourself or stop HUGE from claiming it. Think of it, it would have awesome hair perks, getting bigger and stronger by eating people. It really is a perfect fit for jump chain.
>>
>>48254621
Well, it's a scenario reward. So in theory I wouldn't be buying it all at once. I'd be saying "okay, hit me with that 10% increase. Now do it again. And again." But you could also interpret it as Threnos just getting fed up with me doing that and giving them to me all at once. So I guess the additive model makes more sense.
>>
>>48254651
Those don't matter anyway, because they're granted by the Root - and the True Magic you get via reaching the Root is entirely unique anyway. It's not going to do a repeat of Time Travel.
>>
>>48254658
Becoming perfect huge would have to be blocked until post spark due to the level of power it grants you.
>>
>>48254683
Yeah I was kind of thinking that too. So it would be a jump where you have to stop the protagonist or die.
>>
>>48254653

>>48254682
I suppose you could get Aoko to teach you. I was going to try to come with a Magic for the properties of Nasuverse space as it is, so it doesn't really matter to me all that much.
>>
>>48254682

>>48254710

Can a Symbiote from Symbiote make a 'blank' Symbiote?

I have some companions I got after the Symbiote jump who I would like to give Symbiotes, or at least Symbiote abilities, without shoving (another) voice into their heads.
>>
>>48254605
Alright thanks. But are they dependent on the world their in? The reason I use Phoenix Gate is because I like to create 'hidden' things that I can revel later and it doesn't need the Gargoyles world to create the loop, explicitly, Desdian Files magic is dangerous at those levels to both their user and the target. The Mjoilner from Kung Fury is random but I have yet to find better time travel. I was a Hacker in Kung Fury so I guess I could just hack time like that but I was wondering if there were any other ways about it. Thanks for the advice.

Steal the special one used in the play, if the spoiled plot was true, and if the play is canon. It could time travel pretty much freely and didn't give a single flying fuck about paradoxes. They kept using paradoxes to fix paradoxes.

WHAT?
>>
>>48254927
There is a room filled with Time Turners in the DoM, a lot of them get smashed in the 5th book when Harry and Friends are fighting Death Eaters.
One Death Eater's head gets trapped in a time bubble, where his head de-ages to a baby, turn turns to normal, then de-ages again, etc.
>>
>>48254927
Correction: about to be rendered useless by falling over in a way that leads to them being in an endless loop of falling over, un-falling, and then re-falling, in an endless cycle for all eternity, and are thus unable to be used.

Sekirei, Rosario Vampire, Tenchi, etc.
>>
>>48255019
Doesn't it just? All we're missing is the slash mpreg, or out-of-canon abilities- oh wait, no, we have out of canon abilities with a time turner that can go back more than a handful of hours and make changes that do not create a closed time loop, which should have paradoxed itself out of existence to start with.

Seriously, why the hell would some pureblood family have this thing and not the Department of Mysteries? You'd think, of all artifacts that could escape, they'd make sure this one did NOT.
>>
>>48255019
Well I've heard good things about it. Granted, all of the good things have been about the actors and performances, and absolutely nothing good has been said about the script which will be the part of Cursed Child most people will see unless they can get a ticket to the show. But good things.

>>
>>48255083
That's exactly correct. Or, hell, go back in time repeatedly and start a Council of Voldemorts, since apparently we don't need to worry about predestination paradoxes, he can get alternate versions of himself from other timelines joining him.

Of course that leads to the darkest timeline, where Voldemort fights Voldemort until they transfigure the sun into antimatter.
