For the record, I love BB to death.

I would like utility instead of damage, which seems to be the issue, but only at early levels. Or maybe it's fine, I'm not the expert.

Whatever happened to the PoW errata anyway, I thought that was "just around the corner" months ago

I honestly don't see such a big deal with anthropomorphic animals. Just makes it easier to spot the really creepy people and get rid of them.

Is there a way to get Black Seraph on a Warlord other than by becoming a Black Thorn Knight?

Pic very related.
>>
>>48216792
Apparently, if a race deviates too far from the humanoid standard, /pfg/ just starts violently shitting all over itself, if the last few threads were any indication.
>>
>>48216874
You can take a trait for it.

You can take them through Advanced Study one by one.
>>

What is the trait?

>>

Ah fantastic. Won't be getting much mileage from Thrashing Dragon anyway.
>>
>>48216895
If it works for TES, it should work in Pathfinder.

Personally, I would love centaurs or ogres, but I recognise that might be a little too good. Even some of the Bloodforged halfway points would be dandy. I mean, we have those for skinwalkers or aasimar/tieflings.

>>48216930
Unorthodox method, someone just said it, though it's from PoWE, so you might have to clear it with your GM (PoWE is more balanced as is anyways)

It's less that they're bipedal foxes which is furshit and terrible, it's that kitsune AREN'T SUPPOSED TO BE FUCKING ANTHROPOMORPHIC FOXES. Mythology has them as being ascended animals with magic powers, and commonly shapeshifting into humans. With pathfinder they should be foxes with the fey (shapeshifter) types. Feytouched animals.

And don't you even fucking start with "BUT FOXES DON'T LIVE THAT LONG" we fucking went over this garbage already.
>>
>>48217041
Well that's fine. I would be okay with feral foxes -> humans.

I guess that explains why kitsune get all the hate, but not catfolk or w/e

That is mostly just my own bitching, but I imagine that's at least PART of why people hate it. I'm just ultra-buttblasted about it because it's one of the few bits of popular mythology I actually liked.

I will never stop being mad about this and dumping this explanation whenever someone asks, though.

That's basically the trend with PoW.

Everything takes so long because stuff keeps getting added and added. Hell, there is a ton more stuff in PoWE than there every was in PoW.

Probably because they know even if there is another PoW or similar release for PoW content, it won't be for a longggg time.
>>
>>48216777
Not really, it was "We'll start compiling, tweaking, play testing, tweaking, play testing, tweaking, editing, tweaking, throwing it all in the trash, compiling, play testing, tweaking, conclude, and release after we release PoW:E"

>>48217807
Emphasis on the cold justice.

Ragathiel is all about the rights of the victim and oppressed, including their catharsis that their fate won't befall anyone else. That can mean revenge-murder, but not necessarily.

The Empyreal Lord of the 'wronged' is a wide category. Though based on how they stat Empyreal Lords for some reason, I'd rather he wasn't statted.

Just the ears+tail is acceptable I guess. Not "right" to me personally, but a massive improvement that I would definitely rather use than canon kitsune

>>48217882
I'd just like to point out that Ragathiel's Obedience is to kill someone who has performed an evil or unlawful act. Sure, maybe Ragathiel isn't all about murder, but he sure doesn't act like it.

In contrast, Damerrich's is to reflect on everyone you've killed and judge whether or not it was the right thing to do.

True. Still, he advocates not feeling guilt or regret when you commit to a just execution. Definitely comes across as cold.

Because tengu are birds, and furfags aren't as crazy about birds as they are about foxes. They also aren't as popular in general. Like, seriously, I don't see them talked about.

I should probably actually read more weeb mythology if I'm going to shitpost about it. Last time I sat down and extensively read any was a book, years ago. Any suggestions for where to even find any?
>>
So /pfg/ how would you make a void kineticist without going overly edgy?
>>
>>48218086
Only once you've proven they are actually guilty. He only empowers those who are willing to do their job. No Empyreal Lord is just about wanton murder if they can be redeemed, especially for jay walking or selling with an expired permit.

I agree, The Weighted Swing (I personally prefer that name, though Damerrich is cool too) is definitely in my top two.

Both of them are the opposition to the "You're LG, you can't kill that guy!" They're both the idea that sometimes people have to die for the world to be a better place. The difference is that The Weighted Swing is always reminding you to think before you act, then commit to it, while Ragathiel is not as reluctant to kill.

A while ago I asked what would be the best character to bring to a game where I didn't know what anyone else was going to bring.

An IRL friend recommended a warpriest, and after looking at them I am starting to like them. Good cleric support casting, self buffing when needed, full armor/weapon proficiency.

Will I be able to use a polearm, shield and still cast spells/touch people to heal them?
>>
>>48217753
A lot of media depicts Kitsune as being unable to hide their tails while shapeshifted; the ears are just anime influence on top of that. I think it's acceptable.
>>
>>48218453
>Will I be able to use a polearm, shield and still cast spells
No, you can use a two-handed weapon, but you can't have something in both hands and cast spells (without a feat or ability saying otherwise.) with a two handed weapon you can, as a free action, remove your hand from the weapon, cast the spell, and then put your hand back on as a free action.
>>
>>48218378
Thats true.
>>
>>48218543
Honestly, people complaining about Kitsune not being 'proper' just makes me think of Monster Musume and people's phenomenal waifufaggotry regarding it.
>>
>>48218580
But I will be using a two handed weapon. A polearm. Shield + polearm works with the shield brace feat.
>>
>>48218436
I would agree on The Weighted Swing and Ragathiel's similarities, though I would add the caveat that Damerrich is in favour of general executions (once properly considered), while Ragathiel is in favour of defensive executions (ie vengeance or protecting the wronged/more people from being wronged)

Honestly, they probably get along the best out of the Empyreal Lords.
>>
>>48218681
That's not what he's saying.

Even if you are using a two-handed weapon, your hand is still occupied holding the shield.
>>
Which is better for a Gunsmoke Mystic, Solar Wind or Tempest Gale?
>>
>>48218777
...so can't I hold my shield and polearm in my left hand while casting with my right hand?
>>
>>48218810
No, because your left hand is holding you shield. You can't hold two things in one hand at once.
>>
>>48218681
A 2h polearm (and just a 2h polearm) can cast, as removing the hand is a free action, but when you use Shield Brace, you have to hold the shield in one hand, so you would have to drop your shield or something to cast.
>>
>>48218681
Here is the actual feat:
>Shield Brace (Shield Mastery)
>You’ve mastered the art of balancing a polearm’s weight against a shield’s stability.
>Prerequisites: Shield Focus; base attack bonus +3 or fighter level 1st; proficiency with light shields, heavy shields, or tower shields.
>Benefit: You can use a two-handed weapon sized appropriately for you from the polearm or spears weapon group while also using a light, heavy, or tower shield with which you are proficient. The shield’s armor check penalty (if any) applies to attacks made with the weapon.

Things It doesn't mention:
>hands

So I have no fucking idea. In my mind a hand could hold both a shield and a polearm, just not in a usable way. I fully expect this feat to cause a huge shitstorm in PFS.
>>
>>48218810
>>48218681
The feat you are looking for is shield mage, which allows you to cast a spell with your shield hand.
>>
>>48218918
Buckler
>This small metal shield is worn strapped to your forearm.
>You can also use your shield arm to wield a weapon...
>You can cast a spell with somatic components using your shield arm...

Shield, Heavy; Wooden or Steel
>You strap a shield to your forearm and grip it with your hand.
>A heavy shield is so heavy that you can’t use your shield hand for anything else.

Shield, Light; Wooden or Steel
>You strap a shield to your forearm and grip it with your hand.
>A light shield’s weight lets you carry other items in that hand, although you cannot use weapons with it.

You could use it with a buckler, and arguably with a light shield
>>
Huh: ok:

So Shield focus, Shield brace and shield mage together would allow a warpriest to use a polearm and a shield at the same time with no penalty to casting?

That is a lot of feats. Especially if I want improved init, Power attack, quicken blessing, step up, following step...
>>
What order does ignoring hardness come in?
Say you're a half-orc with Smash(feat) letting you ignore 5 points of hardness. And an adamantine weapon lets you ignore hardness of 19 or less. but nothing if it's higher.

What happens if you hit a block of adamantine with it?

Do you ignore 5, making it 15 and then the weapon ignores everything?

Does the sword check first, making it no change, and then you ignore 5, resolving your damage against hardness 15?

Or do you simply use whichever is more favorable but not both --like bonuses or DR do -- and Ignore everything 19 or less while lowering 20+ by 5?
>>
Shields are for losers anyway
>>
>>48219097
How exactly are you supposed to keep the exploding shrapnel of your enemies from clogging up your intakes then?
>>
>>48219006
I am unfamiliar with shield mage, having not found it with a quick google search and I'm not interested enough to dig.

You could just use a light shield, as you would be able to free action grasp the spear with your shield arm, let go with your somatic hand, cast, free action grasp the spear again with your somatic hand and let go with your shield hand.

It's pretty much how casting with a staff or greatsword works anyways.

All right, I know this will get drowned out with the same argument as before, but I'll give this a go and see if I can present my point in such a way that people don't explode with autism.

Maybe kitsune don't need to be the same across all permutations of media/myth. Now, the babyfur crap that's popped up in the last few threads has made me sick, sure, but kitsune just being anime con goers with their fake ears and tails is a bad rub in the opposite direction for me. I would rather have a property attempt something different and take things in a direction that might not make some people happy instead of just looking at the first five links of a Google search and go with that in an attempt to pander. Which option Paizo went with may be a matter of debate, but I would personally like the race that's descended from foxes to at least look like foxes instead of cosplayers.

>Legendary Kineticist Breakdown
Okay, the thing about LG is this was me deciding that 1 more element was finally enough, and nothing about the base kineticist felt occult. So I made Mind (originally it was a 3 way split about doing mind, soul, or life, the latter two possibly coming out later if I dredge up the desire again). Mind is basically a candyshop of mental effects, and it has like 90 wild talents (30 or so infusions and 60 UWT), meaning it's pretty much good to go out of the gate, no supplements needed.

It's basically "get whatever mind affecting stuff you want" the element. I like a lot of it, but some of it is 'flavor trash', which is things you put in because an element SHOULD be able to do that thing.

The artistic summoner goes into stuff like ink painting as well as another chapter in "Jolly and Onxy try to make wood not garbage", which we do so by giving it Summoner style SM talent and the ability to make living sculptures, which I think is sick.

Awakened and Surge Fist are both "Hey, what if the blood rager and/or monk had a functional baby with the kineticist", especially after seeing the janky archetype for the kineticist with the monk. Both work pretty well, surge fist is probably the cooler of the two, and it has some faux DBZ mechanic to go copyright free super saiyajin.

Evoker Minstrel is a decent enough archetype to me, although I mostly made Onxy write it because they went crazy on the...

Soundstriker was originally for KOP 4 (coming out sometime in late august/early september), but I wanted more content for LK, so we moved it over, and making it universal with its own masterpieces and such was a better idea.

True Psychic was me realizing we needed at least one archetype based on mind, so it's really a full combo of aether/mind to get a real telekineticist experience. The mindscape stuff was a throw in, but it's also cool since mindscapes are cool.

And war kineticist is just my prototype for the unchained kineticist (I posted that here a while back, it'll probably get added to a project once I refine it more.

Speaking of making wood good, the verdant line came from here, which allows you to grow plants around you like a disney princess, and then lets you create difficult terrain and choke people with plants.

Void got a lot of gravity support here, especially gravity sculptor, which is my favorite talent in the entire damn book. And here it is:

GRAVITY SCULPTOR
Element(s) void; Level 5; Type utility (Sp); Burn 0
Saving Throw none; Spell Resistance no
You can create up to five 5 ft. cubes of space, treating them as
though they were affected by the no gravity, heavy gravityNLS, light
gravityNLS, or objective directional gravityNLS planar trait, lasting
for 1 minute per kineticist level you possess. These cubes can
be arranged any way you wish, but each cube must be adjacent
to another and must share the same gravitational trait. At 12th
level and every 2 levels thereafter, you can create an additional
5 ft. cube.

The feats and magic items are pretty bog standard, with a lot of stuff made to make chirigueon better and even MORE overwhelming soul support to the point where it's ALMOST viable. Plus I love the sample character and the art for this book more than I love most people.

If you check the paizo description thread, I also did a dev post there if you want more info about it, if you do pick it up please try and review it, and let me know if you want me to discuss anything else about that or anything else I've written.

I hear that Ravenlord is a pretty good unexpected range archetype if you build for it.
Send bird into melee, take range feats on harbinger.
>>
>>48220380
I've seen some back and forth here, I think I'd want to have it take 3, but I could probably be talked down to 2, since it opens up a lot of windows of what investigator talents could be taken through feats and social talents to make it nice and amazing for skill monkeying.
>>
>>48220559
Eh. Fuck that shit.

Limit it to one or two investigator talents tops.

It really does, which is why I love it. Gravity in Occult Origins doesn't have a 'thing' aside from singularity and really bad negative levels, 80% of what I did with elements that weren't created by me were to give them a identity.

I would like to make a character based on Ruby Rose from RWBY. So likly musket + schyte. But i have little experience with making switch hitters. Especially with guns.

the character starts at lvl 13 and since im playing an adventure path will go up to about lvl 17. available material's is only the things Paizo have released so no 3rd party.

Does anyone wanna help ? ;)

No.
>>
>>48220718
The closest thing to what would work for this would be a musket axe, and that is a janky weapon for janky people. Like you could go Gunslinger 5/Weaponmaster Fighter 3/Anything else 5, try to maximize both sides of it. Maybe vigilante for the levels, try to get some decent talents, but you're fighting a losing battle here.
>>
>>48220800

Desperado Warlord with a musket axe might work, as would a bayonet if your DM lets you get a modern, doesn't clog the barrel one.

Head Pat (Cha)

Check: By extending your arm in a non-threatening manner and flapping your arm and hand in the universal sign of encouragement, consolation and praise you can change the attitude of a creature from hostile, unfriendly and indifferent states to friendly.

Action: Takes 1 minute of solid and continuous head patting.

Special: If you have the Persuasive feat, you may head pat two heads at once.

Special: If you have any way to have multiple arms (from customizations, evolutions, the Multi-Armed trait, etc), you may head pat as many heads as you have arms free.

Without 3p you're dead in the water, although amusingly I just put out a 3p gunslinger book (the content's already review in my Gunslinger guide). If you can't use 3p, ask your GM if you can homebrew some stuff to make it not terrible.

A damn complicated one because it involved the hag breeding changelings in our line for generations, rampant polygamy, and other bullshit. I was heir to the seat of a orc/human racial majority region.

The family was being manipulated on two sides. On one end by the Hag Mother and in the other by a malicious entity that lived in the mountain side that my character referred to as It That Lays In The Dark for lack of a better term. Succession was complicated and the character's father was a servant of ITLITD.

I juggled the orcish chieftains, my father finding out about plans to overthrow him, the hag mother's call, the fact my witch patron was likely TWLITD, and other horse shit.

I personally like fighting monsters multiple times in Monster Hunter. The first time I kill something, I usually feel like I stumbled through the battle. A clumsy victory. I get to learn from my mistakes by hunting the same monster. It gives me a sense of accomplishment to wreck that monster in minutes using the same gear I struggled to kill it with.

What exactly constitutes total derailment varies depending on the campaign, but if what you do completely invalidates every choice made before or after regarding the plot, then you've probably done it.

Also, bear in mind that Henderson was an act of revenge. If you're just fucking with your group and your GM for shits and giggles, you're not being as clever as you think you are.

Actually, it can be. One of my favorite recurring characters to play is a Dwarf Invulnerable Rager Barbarian (most recently of the Unchained variety), with maxed out Constitution, just enough Strength to get by, and as many ways to increase hit points as I can possibly find.

I also make sure to take Superstition so I don't get spelled out of every combat on the first round, but other than that, playing a bag of hit points with DR x/- that just rushes headlong into everything without a single thought for his own safety is pretty damn fun.
>>
For ways to deal with threatening opponents without magic:

Shield brace is interesting, but requires using a reach weapon.

Reach weapons don't really work with step up.

Is there a way to make the "lockdown" fighting style actually work, or is it just a pipe-dream?

You need a way to make 5' steps provoke AoOs from you. Then you need to make Stand Still not suck. Your opponent could still take the withdraw action, but if they do that they're not doing anything else so you're still effectively locking them down.

Or just play a Warder, if they're available.

Stand still and pin down seem the same, except pin down also works on withdraws and 5' steps.
>>
>>48226340
Didn't actually know about Pin Down, it's flat out better than Stand Still except for the fighter level requirement. Stand Still is a CMB check, which means most things you want to control will not be affected by it.

And now I'm kinda upset that Warders don't get a 'counts as fighter' class feature.
>>
>>48226249
Shield Brace doesn't require a reach weapon. The Nodachi and the Halberd are both polearms, and don't have reach. There are probably other polearms that have the same situation, but no others immediately come to head.
>>
>>48226274
Again, when your ammo reaches within 5 feet of them they will be able to see it and react to it.
They're not flat-footed by fog spells in anyway.

You could snipe actually but even by RAW that doesn't deny them their dex bonus to AC either. Only invisibility does.
>>
>>48226379
war-priests count as fighters, and a human or half-human warpriest gets almost as many feats.

I'm trying to make a super versatile character, so I was going to go with the support casting/self buffing of a warpriest and use shield brace to use a fauchard and a light steel shield.

I know it won't be good against things with a high CMD, but litches and the like tend to not have that.
>>
>>48225956
The max arrows they can store is based off their EA level + WIS modifier, and later gets advanced to +1 extra per level and 2x WIS modifier. Even with just the base points from the class, a player could get up to 15d6 damage at level 10.

Since you count as a fighter from level 3 onward, you can just take Pin Down at level 11, which doesn't require a CMB check - only that you hit.

My Warder, on the other hand, won't qualify for it, and therefore must take Stand Still and deal with CMB/CMD - but I also have something like a 40' threatened area that counts as difficult terrain so I guess it balances out.

I didn't write the rules guys, it's just a simple fact that full concealment doesn't deny anyone dex to ac even if you can't be located visibly.

You just assume based on logic that it's the same thing but mechanically it isn't. Attacking from stealth or full-concealment/cover doesn't deny the target their dex bonus to AC by RAW. Feel free to prove me wrong with anything out of the rule-book and not personal opinion.

You obviously didn't read them, either.
>>
>>48226888
More accurately, Concealment OR Cover, AND also Unobserved by enemies, and you can roll stealth to render people flat-footed.

Attacking immediately ends stealth in it's entirety, though, unless you're a Sussatore with Silent Blade, which makes the DC to hear your fight into your stealth roll, rather than the DC: -10 that it typically is. And if you've got Hide in Plain Sight or some variant of it, you can also still be visually hidden during this.

The guy you're fighting isn't, but still.
>>
>>48226888
Not that anon, but where does it actually say that? I know there's a specific clause about getting SA from stealth, but I'm not sure about denying dex for other attacks, let alone making targets flat-footed.
>>

>ATTACKING FROM STEALTH or full-concealment/cover doesn't deny the target their dex bonus to AC by RAW.

http://www.d20pfsrd.com/skills/stealth
http://www.d20pfsrd.com/skills/perception

Nothing there states anything about an opponent being made flat-footed or denying them their dex to ac. Invisibility does. A successful stealth check grants you total concealment, they can't make AoOs on you or pinpoint your location but they can still defend themselves from your attacks if they've already rolled initiative.

You can only be flat-footed when you haven't rolled initiative and thus can't react normally. That's it.
>>
>>48226913
You say that but the only thing you've had to argue with is your feelings. Not facts.

>>48226943
None of the pages list that at all, a successful stealth check just means they're not aware of you and you get total-concealment. If they've already rolled initiative then they aren't flat-footed.

In addition to the fact that attacking at all breaks stealth automatically except when sniping which again can be opposed by a Perception check and seen when the projectile is within 5 feet of a non flat-footed, dex to ac target.
>>
>>48227129
http://davidvs.net/hobbies/pathfinder-hips.shtml

http://www.d20pfsrd.com/skills/stealth

Being Observed: If people are observing you using any of their senses (but typically sight), you can't use Stealth. Against most creatures, finding cover or concealment allows you to use Stealth. If your observers are momentarily distracted (such as by a Bluff check), you can attempt to use Stealth. While the others turn their attention from you, you can attempt a Stealth check if you can get to an unobserved place of some kind. This check, however, is made at a –10 penalty because you have to move fast.

You were saying, fuckface?
>>
>>48227151
Not pictured here: anything that says your target is flat-footed.

Stealth lets you attack against flat-footed AC by getting a surprise round on people. It doesn't do anything but hide you if a fight is already going.

It allows you to hide immediately after your attack as a move action, which is opposed with a penalty meaning you're not completely hidden. And at typical sneak attack range that penalty hurts..

A boosted strike maneuver works too.

For sniping, you only need to be at least 10ft away, and perception modifiers would work too, so a long range weapon can make up for it.
>>
>>48227555
>Usually none. Normally, you make a Stealth check as part of movement, so it doesn't take a separate action. However, using Stealth immediately after a ranged attack (see Sniping, above) is a move action.
>>
>>48227664
So if you dont move, you dont stealth?

Also, since you say its usually none, does this mean you can stealth, stab someone, then stealth again during the same turn?
>>
>>48227675
Usually none means you do the check automatically. Like if you're hiding behind a wall or something and WANT to stay hidden, you just roll.

It's also integrated to movement, depending on your speed; if you're going slow and want to stealth, you get to roll. You're sneaking.

You also get to keep stealth if you move between covers (sneaking from shadow to shadow) so long as you finish somewhere where you can stealth.

If you attack, run or charge, or if you do a movement as above that ends out in the open, stealth ends.

When NOT in stealth you cannot attempt it (there's some special abilities/conditions though of course) if you are being observed by something's senses (most things only have good range on sight for that purpose unless they're like touching you) you cannot try to stealth.

Dear /pfg/

I am a Gnomish Sorcerer with 20 Charisma. This is my only 'big' attribute and I'm happy with that. All of my other attributes are average aside from Constitution, which is 13 but got +2'd to 15.

I wanted to play a Sorcerer because I've never tried and I'm gonna be a Sorcerer for all game.

However, there's something that's gonna possibly make me useless: Our Wizard.

Aside from her Strength (7) and Wisdom (9), our Wizard has amazing attributes. 19 Dexterity. 14 Con. 20 Intelligence. 17 Charisma. This puts them leagues ahead of me. What's worse is they also already have a yuge amount of spells. I get that's normal for a Wizard, but they have level 2 spells at only Level 3.

I'm incredibly worried I'm gonna be made redundant by this. What do I do?

Pic unrelated.

i don't really do it intentionally, the first time i simply set a web i had cast ablaze, because pretty much the entire enemy group was caught up in it and i wanted to put some hurt on them (this was fairly low level stuff, so even a little damage did enough) now i fireballed a group of enemies and set the building ablaze. both times we've been forced to evacuate and pretty much grill marshmellows on the buildings that contained vital plotthreads, as we found out later, by the DM getting a slight bit salty

that being said, the way i play my wizard indulges the chaos he creates, both via control i.e, webs and grease, etc, but also via fires and summons, etc. he was intended as a "it's called splash damage. go cry to the cleric" type wizard, so i might play him a bit wild

Dear /pfg/:

How the hell does becoming incorporeal on a temporary or permanent basis work? I'm looking at the later Veiled Moon stances (Anchoring Spirit) or the Umbral Blade prestige class in particular.

ref: http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/rules-for-monsters/universal-monster-rules#TOC-Incorporeal-Ex-

Incorporeal creatures lose their strength score and use dexterity instead for all attacks, so going with a Dexterity build seems pretty obvious. They ignore all non-magical attacks and take half damage from everything except channel energy or a ghost touch weapon, which is great. They don't get a natural armor bonus but do get a deflection bonus equal to Cha mod, which is workable.

Incorporeal creatures also ignore natural armor, armor and shields on their attacks, so they're basically attacking against touch AC all the time minus some corner cases like mage armor or deflection.

So, here's the questions:
1) Does an incorporeal creature deal half damage to corporeal creatures? This isn't in the rules per se but it seems like a natural extension of them, and something you could get around by using a ghost touch weapon yourself while incorporeal.

2) If you do use a ghost touch weapon while incorporeal, do you still ignore armor/nat armor/shields on corporeal targets? It says it counts as both corporeal and incorporeal, which to me means that it should probably still be effected by corporeal armor, but that also means that using a ghost touch weapon would be a straight nerf when incorporeal unless you normally do only half damage.
>>
>>48228858
Oh, and as an addedum: what the fuck is with ghost touch armor?
>>
>>48228929
Ghost Touch armor... still applies defense to incorporeal attacks?
>>
>>48228941
Sorry, should have been more specific.

>This armor or shield seems almost translucent. Both its enhancement bonus and its armor bonus count against the attacks of corporeal and incorporeal creatures. It can be picked up, moved, and worn by corporeal and incorporeal creatures alike. Incorporeal creatures gain the armor's or shield's enhancement bonus against both corporeal and incorporeal attacks, and they can still pass freely through solid objects.

"Gain the enchantment bonus" isn't "gain the armor bonus". So would wearing a +1 Ghost Touch Fullplate just give me +1 to AC as an incorporeal creature, or do I get that and the armor bonus from it being fullplate?

I had an idea for a space fantasy setting. Magic is bound to planets, all casters are more of like shamans or druids than anything, they bound themselves to a planet to gain magic.

When space travel became a thing the old school mages generally avoided it, tossing yourself away from your source of magic seem like madness to them and it was like this for years...until one space farer who have been studying what magic he could find tried out of the binding ritual while traveling.

The ship and all lives so it was said was lost but it worked. He became the first of his kind, a Star Walker. Cloaked in the very cosmos itself he is a being of great power. Others followed his path, while not becoming as a strong these Star Walkers are generally looked at as powerful tools for captains who get one to work under them, cursed monsters by those who favor the old style of magic, or bad luck those who have seen how one is "born".

>mfw player instead shows up with a 14 RP custom race with +10 to an ability score and a laundry list of overlapping but technically-by-the-rules weaknesses, saying he changed his mind but this should be okay anyway since Aasimar are 15 RP

How many people in /pfg/ are desperate for a game and would want to play low level mythic adventures? I'm gauging interest. The plan of the campaign is political strife on the boarder between an empire and a crumbling set of city states, the party being part of one of three mercenary companies (that they choose during session 0). The party receives their mythic sparks in the opening scene and are thrust into a war they didn't know existed.

The reason the party members have to stick together and keep going at all is their mythic sparks. All mythic power is garnered by killing and consuming other creature's mythic sparks, so people will be coming for them whether they like it or not. Opportunistic demi-gods looking for weak prey.

If you can slap an enemy with it, you can make them forget they took a massive blow or cast a certain spell the previous round, and potentially bluff them into not attempting to heal themselves or re-casting the spell.

imo it should force a penalty on the next concentration check if you memory lapse someone who is concentrating on maintaining or casting a spell.

So... do you really not realize that your game will die in three seconds as the PC's cannibalize each other, or are you just being optimistic?
