Anyone have real world experience using the d30 system? Like using the one roll for multiple results etc.
Is it easier than carrying a bag of dice? Is a d30 table worth fleshing out for home brew systems?
>Anyone have real world experience using the d30 system?
No.
>Like using the one roll for multiple results etc.
Sounds neat, but making multiple rolls is nearly effortless.
Mapping one roll to multiple results sounds more tedious.
>Is it easier than carrying a bag of dice?
I doubt it.
>Is a d30 table worth fleshing out for home brew systems?
Again, I doubt it.
So pict related never caught on?

I have given my players a D20 and a D30 weapon for fun before.
d30s are the worst of all the meme dice.

I play DCC off and on. You use it, but not very regularly. It uh, rolls a bit (tho not as bad as the Impact d24 for whatever reason)
had a macguffin that let you swap in a d30 for all your d20 rolls as long as you were wearing it in a D&D campaign once.
but muh platonic solids. REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
