Let's make a collection of all filler Naruto bullshit that actually seems interesting. Like how we talked about that stuff in previous thread.

Honestly, if you are on missions outside of Konoha, unless you got MC-Kun drawback, you don't have to be involved with filler, as you won't be with the main people in fillers...

But you still could get access to filler stuff
>>
>>48130915
It's not like DBZ where you have the driving episode stuff though.
>>
>>48130861
My money is on Gilgamesh. Gilgamesh has many arms, Scion has only two.
>>
>>48130915
Well, there's the Hero Water in waterfall, it would probably be pretty useful for immortal jumpers.
http://naruto.wikia.com/wiki/Hero_Water
>>
Anyone have that bacon soup recipe that anon posted a few threads back? That stuff looked tasty.
>>
>>48130962
Yeah, but Scion has no cool swords for Gilgamesh to steal. I think that maybe instead of fighting they'd commiserate over losing their partners and just go out for a beer, instead.
>>
>>48130915
here's some bullshit eye stuff that isn't rinnegan, tenseigan, byakugan, or sharingan.

Are there any better perks for surviving having your body destroyed than:

Anomalous Physiology
>From SCP: Requires COMPLETE destruction to kill you, even ashes are enough to survive.

Omega Healing Factor
>From X-Men Movies: Can regenerate from a singe drop of blood.

Apostle
>From GATE: Can survive being sliced into large numbers of pieces and having them buried long distances from each other, must have those pieces brought back together to recover.

?
>>
>>48130915
Can we just get a 0 cp drawback to insert all the filler episodes into the naruto jump along with the normal stuff without needing to take mckun?
>>
>Take Godtier in Sburb, which requires you die on your questbed
>Also take Can't Keep Down The Clown, which makes you ludicrously durable
>Do this as a fairly early jump
>Realize I probably don't have enough firepower to kill myself
Wat do?

So, for those who took Vortessence from Half-Life, what have you accomplished with it?
>>
>>48131060
There already is a +0 drawback.
>>
>>48131066
Jump into black hole.
>>
>>48131060
I could have sworn there already was, but looking at the jump I don't see it. Odd.
>>
>>48131060
That's already a thing
>>
>>48131060
There is one, I just wish there was one that allowed you to take specific fillers.
>>
>>48131104

>>
>>48131080
What is it?
>>
>>48131080
I taught it to everyone in UC Gundam. Really fucked up the "those people on Earth have their souls weighed down by gravity and are an inferior species" rhetoric a lot of villains like to give when every single human being is the equivalent of a Newtype. Only better, because normal Newtypes can't shoot lightning.
>>
>>48131128
You're outdated.
>>
>>48131128
>>48131134
On the one in the drive it's called stuffed, and is the first drawback
>>
>>48131066
Have your companions Godtier, then kill you using their powers. Or with their weapons. I imagine they'll manage to kill you eventually.
>>
>>48131134
It's the source of the Vortigaunts' powers. Basically the Force. It starts off as just electrokinesis, but it can be expanded into a lot of other applications. The neat thing is that it's really easy to do cooperative power uses with it, so the more Vortessence-trained people you have the stronger their abilities are.
>>
>>48131047
Marvel's Healing Factor+Speed is better for that combo.

You don't need the 'be able to come back from a single drop' guarantee, since Anomalous Physiology already takes care of that. And the healing factor you can get in Marvel is much faster.

So, we all have a lot of soundtrack perks, right? Some jumpers are even collecting them.
Tell me a story about that, /jc/. Has anyone ever wondered where the music was coming from? Ever had a particularly apropos song come up at just the right time?
Tell me how music has enriched your life.

I have a Naruto question. Are there any metals or materials that block or inhibit chakra the same way Nth Metal does Magic in the DC Universe? I seem to remember something with the spider guy but my naruto knowledge is lacking so I don't know if anything else was done with it.

>>48130915
Dark Nature
Swift Nature
Steel Nature. At least their alternate usages from movie with Chimera Technique.

Chimera Technique is learnable. Use it. Get Five Kekkei Genkais on the mountain, or at least the fifth. Thus, you become immortal, or at least "Immortal", the dude never acheived it so we don't know how immortal you are... And you can get more than five Kekkei Genkai
>>
>>48131200
>we all have a lot of soundtrack perks, right?
Nope
>>
>>48131190
I am not really looking for a combo, rather the individual perks that can let you survive having your body destroyed.
>>
>>48131066
Get a chainsaw. Being vertically cut in half would still kill you with Can't Keep Down The Clown.
>>
>>48131205
There are a lot of random techniques that do it, I seem to recall a special web for one.
>>
>>48131205
That's his spit. Kidomaru's "metal" is actually a resin he secretes in his saliva. Fits with the spider theme. And it's chakra-resistant, but doesn't actually block chakra. It just takes a lot more to penetrate it than normal, that's why the focused chakra pulse of the Gentle Fist were the best bet against it. Actual chakra-proof stuff is the realm of the Truth-Seeking Balls, and even they have trouble with nature chakra.
>>
>>48131205
Why, you want to make a stupid looking Mecha Jumper?

Nature Chakra =/= Chakra Natures.

Nature Chakra is the shit you use to reach Sage Mode, it's basically ambient/natural chakra in contrast to the elements and yin/yang that ninja use.
>>
>>48131240
Obviously. Who would want to?
>>
>>48131261
Not "nature" as in the elemental natures. "Nature" as in the natural energy chakra that goes into making senjutsu. It has nothing to do with the Six Paths senjutsu, anyone with sage mode can damage the Truth-Seeking Balls.

WHY IS NARUTO SO CONFUSING ABOUT NAMING CONVENTIONS IN ENGLISH
>>
>>48131265
Possibly, but that seems to only work if you take it as the god origin. Taking the God origin and a different origin's capstone would be really expensive.
>>
>>48131047
>From GATE: Can survive being sliced into large numbers of pieces and having them buried long distances from each other, must have those pieces brought back together to recover.

Apostle (600, Discount Drop-In): Normally this means that you pledge yourself to a God here and when you die your soul goes to them. But luckily for you I’ll ignore that and give you its benefits anyway. What this means is incredible strength and speed and amazing regeneration. They also tend to live for a very long time up to a 1000 years. You can outrun cars and heal from bullets the moment they leave your body. You’re not on Rory’s level but you’re close.

Where are you getting that from?
>>
>>48131291
Honestly, it's largely an issue with lazy translators, even if the original was confusing skilled translators could modify the terms used when translating to make it more clear. I mean english has plenty of redundancy that way.
>>
>>48131291
Translations a funky business.

From OOTS:

>On the subject of classes not mentioned here, unless the official 3.5 edition D&D class is exclusive to a single campaign setting, you may also take it as if it were a class from this table. No homebrew classes – them's the breaks.

Is there a list of non-setting specific prestige classes for 3.5e D&D?

On another note, is there a way to enlarge the reply box? Every time I copy-paste 1 sentence or more, it gives me really weird formatting issues that I have to go back and fix manually, and it's kind of annoying.

>>48131443
The thing is, the guy invented it beause he DIDN'T have anything special. No Kekkei Genkais or such. AS such, that means that the Chimera Technique he used was also invented and is not exclusive to him.

The thing is, in order to fuse himself with a person and kep himself as himself, he needed to somehow hollow his body out in some way to have space for people he would "fuse" with

For the guy who's making the Video Game Designer jump, if you're around, may I suggest a drawback involving the infamous video game movie phenomenon? Maybe a lower drawback where any movie adaptation of the game you made sucks, or a higher one where, with only in-jump perks, you have to make one that is both reviewed well and makes money? So Apparently the original Concept for Convexity [Really called Aether] was literally Energy Bending from Avatar the Last Air Bender.

Literally all of it. The concept of dark and light, balance, your own will must be iron, etc. Spiritualism that transcends material elements. ALL OF IT.
>mfw

The only difference is the source. It's mana instead of spirit energy. There's one TINY problem though. In setting they noted that it's similar to becoming a reality warper once you master both in perfect harmony as the whole setting runs off of mana. Granted it might just be hyperbole on the writers part.

Just note this is revelations on all the cut content meant to be put into the original game. The game had no real explanation for its magic and how it all worked. How blue crystals are a thing what exactly convexity is [this shit didn't even have an in setting name Convexity was just a convenient place holder by the fans]. It even mentions an in setting reason for the upgrade system [The Aethercrest].

Should I even bother incorporating such ideas? Granted I had to do a lot of gap filling myself with the most basic of interpretation to justify its existence outside the context of a game. I'm already working on the update but I just wanted to confirm one last time.

Unrelated question... I picked up Magical Sustenance a while ago, promptly forgot about the part of the supplement talking about growing larger from too much magic, and gorged myself on absurd quantities of magic for milennia.

Does that keep doing something after the first 5 to 6 years, and how much of a growth increase is it?

I intend on writing up an update now.

Magical Sustenance lets you artificially up your age and size by several categories. It in theory can put a soft-cap on your max size and let you slip into a size category larger than your initial purchase. So if you already had 2 unusual size + you will most definitely add the mass from a single purchase of unusual size + and apply that to your size. It merely makes you a size category larger than what you purchased.

So say you purchased Unusual size minus then had magical sustenance apply it would be like you had never purchased one at all.

>>48131940
Well reality warper in this case as in manipulate the concepts of time the stars, and planetary orbits. Mana is everything in Legend of Spyro.

I'm having trouble following the guys prose. Is it Astral magic, spirit magic, magicmagic? But as far as I know you can tap into the universe's mana itself OR tap into what's inherent in yourself. [Which purple dragons have huge amounts of and likely jumpers too if they purchase it]

>>48132180
I'm going to tread lightly. And assume the guy's just being passionate. Granted I know of a way Malefor could be a threat to reality without it being a major power escalation given what we know how magic works anyway.

Checking out the link, it seems that they're tapping into a different reservoir of magic that is unique to them. Like, Ignitus as a Fire Guardian taps into fire magic/mana. So, in this case, Purple Dragons, or those given the ability by a Purple Dragon, tap into Aetherial mana. So, it's...sort of space magic? But it's space magic in the same sense that Chosen Ones wield the might of Heaven. It's just a sort of blessing or gift they have, I guess. That's just how I'm reading it though.

Go with what is actually in the game, first and foremost. Because everyone loves slavery talks.
>it is not your place to judge them based on law or your idea of a law that they simply don't or even know about

The thing, is I don't really care if it is my place to or not, or if it is 'fair' to them or not. Norman the Conqueror didn't either.

When I come down on slavery, it is going to be depend more on the 'kind' of slavery it is, and the type of Master they were. And it is going to be dealt with as the same category of offences as Torture and Witch Hunts, the inquisition and so on. Where I use Big fucking sound systems and holograms in the sky, and magic or technology that can see into the past.

I will show the specific thing they did that went way to far, broadcast it for all the world to see, and then do that same thing to them for all the world to see. So there ther is a very clear message of "Don't do it to others unless you are prepared to have to done to you." Start at the worst offenses and work your way down.

Do it religious style. When they say "But I did not know torturing people to extract confessions was wrong" you say, "Yes, you did. In the very back of your head there was a voice saying 'This is a person you are doing this to, this could have been you under different circumstances. You know this it wrong,' but you chose not to listen. I know because I serve the one who put that voice there. You should have listened."

Or if a Master Castrates a slave and says "I owned him, it was my right," you say "And there was a War, which you have lost. Now you will pay the price, now you will pay the cost." And cut off his balls.

And there is a lot of stuff there assuming you are a regular person like Mrs. Mother of Dragons. When you have a personal Hyperbolic Time Chamber, potions of Immortality, and super training perks, you really CAN do this in a decade, by training a government to your standards.

That kind of petty revenge isn't just. It's only good for breaking enemy morale by demonstrating that you utterly outclass everything a society can throw at you, but you'll do that anyway in the course of overturning their present power structures. All it does is encourage further divides between classes, damage the lives of the guilty in ways that are far beyond what is a fair or useful punishment and which will damage economic reconstruction by necessitating psychiatric help for your victims, and discourage assimilation into your new regime (no one will want to surrender to you because they know they'll just get tortured and mutilated if they do.) Agency background: Being able to laugh at your personal money problems until they stop being relevant. Alternatively, intense stoicism. Ludicrous fighting skills either way

Blood nurse companion who keeps showing up after the jump in random places

Wires background: Corruption, freaky Wires ascended form, the ability to steal abstract concepts (balanced by the more complex the concept, the less control your "ownership" has over it? You can turn a woman's voice into a weapon, but if you stole the Earth you'd just make spooky things happen at observatories and such)

Except the perk makes no mention of being able to hold in one hand.
>Not Enough Items, Cheat Mode (1000, requires NEI, Recipe Mode): Once per month, you
can use the recipe menu to instead duplicate any single item you possess. The new item is
indistinguishable from the first, and has all the same powers. The one/month limit applies
even if you grant this power to a companion; only the first attempted duplication in any given
month will succeed.

There is one in Rust, however with that limitation.

And there are dozens of perks that you can use to enhance your size.

Regardless, the item in Narnia leaves it unclear as to whether or not the soil works by jump fiat or Narnia's properties.

>A few British coins, shillings and crowns, fell from someone's pockets, and they grew into much more
lucrative trees.
>In addition, you are given a small quantity of soil, carefully preserved from the birth of the world, sufficient to grow three
more trees.
>only those grown with this special soil will have the ability to magically replicate rare
materials.

I would think that the duplicated trees would lose their preservation factor, though. But If you do duplicate it, you may have some time to plant some materials, as there was enough time for coins to fall and produce trees.

It's arguable that the properties of the soil are as "fiat" as your magic sword, so I dunno... fanwank it?
>>
>>48133703
>>48133780
Well from my point of view feathers aren't beautiful, and pods are so vaguely described there's as much evidence to argue you can pick them up as there isn't.

I don't care personally if people want to wank all over their waifus snatchers but if a joke answer is the best you can do then I personally aren't convinced it would work. They both run on jump fiat to me.

>>48133857
>Pods are exception

This is my point exactly; the feathers in the game, amazingly enough, don't let you drag people between different realities. They're the equivalent of a wedding ring.

I'm not seeing a logical basis for them to be copied when they're powered by fiat too.

What was mentioned was in general what I planned. The fourth background you mentioned, it is actually a great idea.

What do you mean by Blood Arms? Do you mean Multiple Forms of Musselback?

...Speaking of, I think I know how to resolve Musselback. It feels like Mondo just has a number of slots availible on it to set as what he choses or earns. So technically you could make choose what alternate forms it has, but also options to buy the blood arms from game and such.

Ah, a shop that follows you every jump with such things? Might work, yes. But some might ask why is it useful when you can make such?

For people who can't replicate things of past jumps or forgot to save that one drink they loved and can't replicate it. Now you can once more enjoy Wine made from Berries from Pokemon. Now you have another chance to buy gifts of old jumps, nothing major but just gifts. Inter dimensional things would be expensive, though.

Also, GEKOU was given to Mondo by Brian. A hybrid of moon technology and Japanese metallurgy.

That's what in-game encyclopedia says.

It sadly keeps some things unclear, so I require a decision by majority:

In my understanding of plot, moon always held humanity's malice as dark matter and could send it to Earth to cleanse itself completely, wrecking Earth as would happen if Mondo didn't do the thing at end to take it into himself, or partially, having said a Dark Matter manifest as Wires or odd locations or such. Dealing with them swiftly or such lets one decrease density of Dark Matter that gets sent back, as some just disperses on Earth or on the way... But get too close without protection and it affects you. Mussel back protected against it.

David sent it in a manner that caused more Dark Matter to be created on Earth, thus the moon was overflowing at end. He bred dark matter.

However, another idea is not that it was just overflowing but the mansion or moon river or something were responsible for it working properly, and David just weakened it, destroying the containment during battle with Mondo.

Issue is, I can't tell which it is. Was it just overflow of Dark Matter or David damaging means of containing it on Moon, with both being means to cover Earth in it.

Which is it? Overflow or breaking it? It's a detail but will help in making a jump...

I mean, making jump if anyone claims it. Yes. Quite

Simple answer to all this bitching, is the text in the jump the be-all end-all, or does the source material factor in, because a few threads ago you were all bitching about someone saying "oh, that perk can't do that because it doesn't say it can" so I doubt its the former, and if we take the source material as meaning jack shit Harvest Moon doesn't allow polygamy.

Huh. Now I'll never know where those other arms are from, or if they were just a weird dream thing.

>overflowing or braeking

I'm not sure if it matters, to be honest. The whole plot operates through whacko dream logic; Wires die, their dark matter goes whooshing up into the moon and Mondo gets increasingly bad spasms.

I'm tentatively guessing breaking given David seems able to deliberately create other Wires like Alice and Thomas the Tank Engine, implying some sort of control mechanism.

People as a general rule do not really want to change. And won't try to change if they if they think they can get away with it. Yes, this is not really fair to a lot of the slaver. But the existing system is more unfair to those at the bottom. From a utilitarian standpoint assign units of unfairness to the best of your ability. The thing about systems if slavery is they have many at the bottom, and few at the top. The slaves at the bottom are suffering so much unfairness fer day. Drawing things out to make it more fair for to the top of society rack up a lot more unfairness for everyone else in the meantime. I would rather not have that on my conscious.

Hopefully I will find benevolent slavers while gathering info for my naughty list. But there is a problem if they are loyal to their society and thing they can win. Some of this is picking a fight in a Prison yard, so they don't get the idea I am someone they can just deal with conventionally. So fights with people I want gone, so someone I want to keep around is less likely to.

And to be honest I AM trying to take away their way of life. It is what they know. I understand that, but it is irrelevant next to the harm their society does to their fellow man, when I think I can do better.

That has no bearing on the torture part. After a comparatively low cut off point, the extremity of the punishment you're inflicting no longer matters. You'd be better served forcing the slavers into chain gangs to work on public infrastructure improvement (which also fosters empathy with the former slaves) while beginning to set up the spy/secret police networks you'll need to catch the people who try to skirt around your new edicts. Torturing slavers just slows down the process of ending slavery, and gets people to conceptualize you as a force of punishment rather than a force for improvement who happens to also be punishing segments of the population.

Eh, I'm not a fan of the shop being that meta to be honest. Seems too generic for my tastes, and the shop in the game has a fairly narrow focus.

I think it was in the bit right before the final dream lady fight.

Also it's brass from Khorne. It's anti-magic apparently. There's more about it in the Dogs of War jump.

Question about the Road to Eldorado jump.

>Dat Booty - Your physical attributes have been enhanced, giving you more attractive features, you may choose posterior/hips, chest, legs, arms, beard, or chin. *Physical attributes not required.

Confused about "Physical attributes not required" when the perk is for enhancing them.

Does it mean that if I buy the perk for a glorious beard, even though I'm a woman, I will become a bearded lady OR if I do a jump as a man my facial hair will be amazing?

Well, Ea apparently reverses its' area of effect back to the primordial era of the world before concepts like swords existed, back when it was still a ball of molten magma.

So I'd guess because it predates the concept of currency it'd cost more money than there is in existence.

This is the issue, you sounded like you were saying that the anons who use this are wrong, the anons were right unless you use your house rule on how this stuff works. It wasn't for quite awhile into this argument that you said anything to the tune of "it's my house rule".

If that is what you meant then this was a really stupid argument.

Actually there's another metal in the A Sky Full of Steel that's anti-magic, but if you mean other jumps then there's Octarine from Discworld which grounds magic (ironically making it good for staffs and other magical artifacts) and in Fallen London you can buy actual brass from Hell. No anti-magic properties though, it just burns. Constantly.

So are any of the Demons in Warhammer 40k stuff genetic in anyway? Or for the Chaos Marines stuff?

Can you with enough perks befriend them without Chaos Gods being like "nah" or just noticing?

Would copies of their powers still be subject to Will of Chaos Gods?

Khorne's collars apparently disappear to him when their holder dies but apparently some are left and one can take them if wiki is right? What determines if they remain or not? Is it just Khorne forgetting about some?

Mid-late 200s for me. No idea where anything is, no idea why I'm there, big ol' orb that's keeping me from glorious demon bod? Spiked it like a football.

I'm sure many people will tell you that this was the first of many fuck-ups. You know, despite completely ignoring the flavor text telling me that I was a colossal asshole now or something.

I didn't get the best toys a lot of times, but I still reasonably got some stuff despite losing the ship, the choir, and Cultist-chan. Got a sick-ass Spyrer armor, some infero pistols, a sweet chainsword, a plasma musket, warp-shotgun shells, a bunch of armor upgrade kits with a bunch of weapon knowledge, a few cybernetics... fun times.

Chaos-wise was another matter. Alpha-level Biomancy Damn it it's 'Biourgy', thank you anon, a skin cloak that shadow-walks while negating ANY sorcery/technology/visual attempt to find you, a Hellbrass Daemon-sword that cuts through any physical/magical barrier possible while setting shit on fire because fuck you, a book that summons and binds Daemons, and a staff that came with so many wyrd/psyker powers I swear it came from Tzeentch himself.

...between all that and my appearance perks, I'm surprised I didn't start collecting warbands while Abaddon took offense.

I didn't get all the best toys, but I definitely got some thematic ones, that's for sure.

>>48135270
...honestly? I just had robots relay and organize all the other sane crew folk, isolated myself due to CC, and used her like a coal canary to tell whether I was doing bad stuff or not. If she starts smelling like bacon in any way, that is immediately bad news if you're trying to be a nice person.

Hey, she's not the only drawback. You also get a "fight a (second) army of demons" drawback and a "fight an invincible boss with non-canon powers" drawback.
>>
>>48135346
You know that unless you take Hard Mode she doesn't lose her plot armor in that battle or even post jump. If you killed her for good in that battle. . . you lost your chain from failing the Hard Mode. . .

LoT got destroyed because turns out when you bring a ship equipped with Necron tech against an uber-necron chessmaster, he's gonna exploit that for everything that's worth.

As for Cultist-chan... I'll be frank. It was much better story-wise to say that she died trying to fight Orikan because by then he's clearly messing with the order of reality itself. He's doing shit that's pretty much raping the Warp sideways, and if all the LoT crew/Choir is dead... well. There isn't really anyone to respawn from, now is there? No, saying she explodes the jumper is a new level of stupidity, though now I'm imagining someone doing a Cultist-chan jumpchain run.

If you attempt to protect Cultist-chan but die in final battle, she becomes a new jumper to spread your legacy. Whether she starts a fresh jump or continues your chain, up to player.

Because Jumpchan managed to claim her to save her... Fohr yuuuu!

And then if she starts a fresh jump, she herself goes through LoT at some point, because it must be beaten for the chain to progress past a certain point.

She fears fighting Orikan for he killed the one person who cared for her enough to protect her.

But she knows... Somehow...

If she breaks the Deadlight, just as she appeared in your run... You will appear in her. Depowered and flawed, a plaything of chaos gods.

Also, the way I fanwank my Warehouse, it does not come with anything inside, it is just a emtpy cube you have to build compantion housing in, and the computer terminals are the walls having a holographic smart surface, and the robotic storage is it absorbing things into the walls and placing them in stasis. Not really. Think of the ranking less as overall magic power, and more your strength/skill in Nanoha magic. So, for example, even if you were relatively weak, if you were absurdly skilled with USING your magic, your rank would be higher.
>>
What happened to the list of magic perks?
>>
>>48136117
In part 2:
>She smells strange, but not actually bad, but that’s probably based purely on the how pious whoever can smell her is; to those pure of faith, she smells of filth and decay, to those devoted to chaos, she smells good, to those unsure of where they stand, she smells mostly of bacon, which may be for better or worse depending on how you feel about bacon.

So it's pretty easy to just use her like a coal canary, judging your recent actions and behavior by the scent she carries. If she smells like bacon, then there's something very wrong and you should probably review all your choices so far.

Of course, then the jump immediately slams you with "Smells like bacon. To the point where you can't smell anything else. It's a disturbingly good smell." among its negatives, so I guess it's trying to imply that you're a horrible soulless person for daring to break the Deadlight, have fun with Daemons.

Mighty No.9 is Foodfight of Video Games

>>48136164

So about what rank would you need to be to pull off a Starlight Breaker style attack?
>>
>>48136164
No. The jump says that perks that boost the power of your magic can be considered to grant you a rank of potential. It takes longer to grow into your full potential beyond what you have from just that jump though.

>You'd be better served forcing the slavers into chain gangs to work on public infrastructure improvement
Oh, I will. If some slavers used chain gangs, some can expect to be placed on a chain gang.

>Torturing slavers just slows down the process of ending slavery, and gets people to conceptualize you as a force of punishment rather than a force for improvement who happens to also be punishing segments of the population.
I can fine with being seen as a force of punishment/retribution, at least in the beginning. And will not be making a habit of torture, that is mainly in the beginning. I will spend up to 1 to 3 months gathering a file on everyone using OCP abilities, and being on the down low, because it is dumb to just assume they cannot magic up counter defenses. During this time, see who I can recruit without anyone noticing. Perfect Memory, Telepathy, and temporal manipulation will be employed. Probably also AI, but I do not automatically go for it.

For the seven kingdoms, I would have an eye out to whether I can impersonate or fill the position of Rhylor, the Stranger, or call myself another god named the Wanderer. This depends on if they actually exist or not, And if not, it they ever existed. May do more than one. Will definitely be one of the faces of the Many faced God. Will find the people I REALLY am not interested in giving a 2nd chance to, & my powers do not think would take one in good faith. Make an example of the most powerful of those, so their peers KNOW deep down that they are not immune, and how bad it can get if I am pressed. Leave some of them I expect to not get the point and give them a 2nd chance anyway on their word of honor, so I can make another example about those who break oaths with me.

But after I make my initial point, the castration etc stuff only happens to people who do if after I have laid down the law. Yes,someone who castrates someone after I have forbid it will get castrated.

I like the fortress, I just had to turn off the shielding and install shields of my own so I could then add in a teleporter. I also put in an over-sized Futurama FTL drive so my Fortress is a lot more mobile than it started as. It's quite fun bringing a Fortress of Fun in from space and then ignoring everything the enemy does trying to stop you while you faff about having fun in a giant party castle.

So, Legacy of Terra question.
It seems sort of railroady, and breaking the deadlight even more so, with BadWrongFun vibes. But if I was to take the Jump, and knew I could break it for 1,000 CP any my powers, I would NOT break it automatically, but would hold onto it so I could break it later if the shit hit the fan. Or if I do not know the ending, just before the jump ends for more points. From what I have seen in a quick browse, there is not a provision for that.
What happens in that case?

Me, I'm just wondering if that means I'm obliged to design my stuff like pic related.

Most of the descriptions are copy pasted or slightly reworded. Many of the 'original' scenarios are just taken from existing Wh40K supplements or from other series and filled with existing characters and items, if not taken from other series too, and there are even parts where he basically plagiarises other people's unrelated stories word for word and rewrites them enough to make it look like 40k.

This gives my their infrastructure, that is already part of the system. Then I own a slice of the city and the slave trade, and can institute reforms, and show by example. Slavery works for the Slave masters by taking more worth generated by a slave than you could take from the worth generated by a freeman.
I can begin appropriate compensation within the system. Also, it gives me the ability to expand to control the whole economy by being better then the other slave masters if they refuse to play ball. Especially because my first decree will instead of just ending slavery would be to say anyone can ash to be brought before me or my agents to declare themselves free if they wish, and that my Legions are always hiring.

>>48136988
Star Trek would probably fit the best for that theme. It has a lot more flexibility in options and it is a thing that's been shown off a lot in that universe.
In Star Wars you basically only have smugglers and military captains to build off of and Halo only has the military.
>>
>>48136951
Final Fantasy XIV, do the scenarios and the back scenarios, get Team Manderville as a companion. One of them is a octopus. Probably the same as >>48136984

>>48136867
For Mythals, you can also science a lot of mythal functions with hyperspace tech. Fun when someone thinks they know all about Mythals, and yours not only has the ability to empower fireballs, but authorized users have command words for Lasers from nowhere and Rods from God. A mythal is basically a poor man's holodeck. If you can make a Holodeck and store the back end in the 12th dimension, it is basically magic.
>>
>>48136988

>For those of us who don't know what a Mythal is
A magic field that can cover up to a city sized area and produce various spell effects inside it's radius.

It can be semi-programmed when made to perform certain actions in response to specific stimuli, and change default behavior. So one could disable all fire spells, or even the creation of any fire within its radius. But you could set it so natural fire can exist with a stone circled area provided a glyph is also present on the flint you start the fore with (so you can cook but no accidental fires) Or if you are annointed with a specific secret recipe of oil blessed by certain gods, you can not use magical fire previously forbidden, and your magic fire automatically has the spell shaping perk and is more powerful than normal.

And also bless the growth of all plants in the mythal for easy farming. Or even only bless certain species of plants that have a sample sealed in an altar to a nature goddess somewhere in the area.

Also maybe all elves can fly inside, but not anyone else, because elves can be dicks like that.

I suppose the Imperium jump as it stands could be finagled into Only War, then you could make Dark Heresy and Rogue Trader?

Maybe I misspoke, you could project a field in a large around you that you are the controlling intelligence of, and could make various Mythal-like effects with that field. You would NOT literally be a Mythal, and the field is not you, just something you produce and control.

Sort of like a Marble Phantasm.

From Endless Legend:
>500 Pillars of (Index) Discount Ardent Mages: You know how to build and how to power Arcana
Pillars, massive floating stone foci for magic. They create huge, mile wide fields of influence,
their effects changing depending on the Arcana you have selected. May be taken as many
times as you take Arcana of (Index) The amount of focus and endurance it takes to power these
stones is enough to totally immolate lesser beings. Only the most skilled of Ardent Mages can
use them without risk of death.

So, am I paying for the knowledge of how to build each tower or the towers themselves. So, do I need to shell out 1000cp (1400 total) to gain the knowledge for each type of tower?

>>48136878
So if we break the deadlight but don't take the drawbacks for extra cp, we're okay, in that particular respect (y'know, apart from having Chaos gunning for us).

Actually that could be kinda weird. My jumper has enough holy aura perks that most daemons would just explode from proximity. Cultist-chan isn't actually a daemon, but she is tainted. I'm sorta imagining she's perpetually blazing with divine fire as my aura keeps trying to cleanse her and the Chaos Gods keep trying to maintain her taint?
>>

"Panacea, you seek, Panacea. Find her in the swamps of Degoba."
No, wait, Brokton Bay and the Worm Jumpchain.
The Panacea power can let you make anything biologically possible externally.
The Browbeat power can do the same, only internally. Think "Internal Alchemy" here.
The Bonesaw power can do it with "Mad Science"
>>
>>48137695
Sounds about right. And the funny thing is that affecting things in the material world directly takes a lot of energy for the Chaos Gods, so they're going to be wasting all this power just to annoy you.

>I'm not touching the new movies. In three years when they're all done someone else can make jumps for them.
But we need a "Reverse the Polarity" Perk now, not 3 years from now. Also the Enterprise, that to.
Maybe you could make the ship AI sentient, and use a bunch of space warping to fit in through the door and into a stasis pod? Then import it as a companion for alt-form?
>>
>>48137774
Well actually if you are reasonable each of the Jumps is made in such a way that you can win without out of context powers. The powers provided in 1000 cp should make you a reasonable force to be reckoned with as long as you don't go around attracting protagonist or antagonists attention.

Take Overlord (LN/M/A) with it's set up you can actually have a character that is stronger than than the protagonist simply by taking Level One Hundred and Realm of Heroes. Just playing the long game and fighting smart are about half the challenge. This is the same protagonist that is curb stomping the local setting into his plaything. You'd be around level 150 in comparison to his 100, and if your a Player you can fluff yourself into a power-gaming fuck-waffle if you're an ass like that.

Most people would die in the first five to seventeen minutes unless they entered the contract how Jumpers do, with full knowledge of what they were getting into before the first Jump. That keeps the panic to a minimum and makes the Jump able to 'feel for' his awesome buttons he just bought. In Tower of God the easiest way to get around the whole 'suddenly there' problem would be to get the Legacy (100 CP) perk and have an entire decade of experience with Shinsoo under your belt from the get go.

>2: 1684 - Accursed Night. It has been nearly a century since the last sighting of Count Dracula, and
humanity has crept from the darkness into a golden age of enlightenment. Rumors of strange creatures
appearing under the cover of darkness are dismissed as fantasy, and all too many are delving into
knowledge that should have been forgotten...

>Lone Challenger (+200 CP) - Ordinarily, the fight against Dracula would not be a fight you'd need to
handle alone - other warriors would stand with you, ready to face the Count by your side. But now,
none are to be found - even those you bring with you have vanished. Those who are around fear the
Dark Lord's wrath; none will sell to you, shelter you, or give you succor. You are well and truly alone
in your fight.

Can anyone familiar with Castlevania give me a quick rundown on what Dracula can do and the best way(s) to defeat him?

Is a Reality Marble an actual physical marble?
I need to know for the sake of crafting. I plan on armsfusing it with a bunch of other magic gems and using it as the focus for my archmages staff.
>>
>>48138042
No, a Reality Marble is not a physical object.
>>
>>48138042
Nope. Not a marble, but a projection.
>>
>>48138042
It is not, it is just a term. It's sort of a perception of reality that can be projected to define reality.
>>
>>48138042
No, it's not. It's basically a projection of your soul that overrides the planet's.
>>
>>48138042
As far as I'm aware, Reality Marble is a metaphor

From a forum post I found...

"
This is where the "Marble Metaphor" comes into play. When drawing one white marble in a bag of a hundred black marbles, there is only a 1% chance of drawing the one white marble.

A MARBLE PHANTASM is the ability to raise that chance to 100% and definitely pick the white one. This is nearly impossible, but it CAN be done. It can recreate anything nature allows, like creating a tornado in a blizzard, causing a tidal wave, or making a large fire, or using the atmosphere to cut apart objects.

A REALITY MARBLE, on the other hand, has the ability to turn all the marbles into white ones; this is something the world wouldn't naturally allow. However, this is the ONLY thing it can do. It can do ONE thing that the world does not normally allow; one RM could create a world where anything it dies (Nevermore), and another could cause fears to turn into physical entities (Night of Wallachia). "
>>
>>48138039
Is bueno man. This jump has been a long time coming.
>>
>>48138042
Not by default. It is a perfect sphere of reality warping to a theme. So it sort of looks like a marble when viewed from the outside at a distance.

Now if you have the right magic condensing powers, it might be funny to turn it into a actual physical marble. Combine Materia: Unlimited Blade Works with Materia: Knights of the Round for extra lols.

Sealing him seems to have worked in the past. He's slightly vulnerable to 'Holy' weapons but the most ideal situation is to have either Vampire Killer or the Dominus Glyph Magic as those have already proven to bypass his invulnerability.

As far as weaknesses go he has a few. Besides the above he's always been a man full of hubris and while his powers are many and varied he often doesn't use them to their full extent.

So. Question for those who've taken the Yu-Gi-Oh Rival Drawback / Companion / Drawback Companion. What kind of story's arisen because of that?
>>
>>48138207
>Vampire Killer or the Dominus Glyph Magic

First off, thanks. Though I do have a few more questions, if you'd be willing to answer them.

1. Are these artifacts obtainable in-jump? There seems to be a "Generic Vampire Killer" in the Alchemical Whip.

2. When are they created? The wiki tells me that the wielder of the Glyphs operated in the early 1800s -- I rolled somewhere in the 1630s.
>>
>>48138350
I may or may not have turned myself into Joey's Rival for the purpose of training him to be better than Yugi, despite Yugi's cheating.
>>
>>48138419
The Vampire Killer is the end point of the Alchemical Whip, but the catch here is that to make it the awesome anti-Vampire weapon you have to sacrifice something to make the Whip whole. Leon Belmont killed his own love, who had been afflicted with Vampire at the time, to create his so the criteria are kinda vague. The creation of the original Vampire Killer predates Dracula as we know him, in other words it already exists in the world, but the original suffers only those of Belmont blood and select exceptions.

As for the Glyphs I think the Runecrafting choice from Witch is supposed to be a fimiscal of them but they developed by the Order of Ecclesia in the 19 century so you may not be able to get the real deal at your time period, the origins of Dominus is that Barlowe gained possession of some of Dracula's souls to craft the Dominus Glyph array.

A good 30 jumps in, the jumper's luck ran out.

And being a native to Shadowrun who was used to having a full suite of Delta-grade cyberlimbs, they got to experience cyberpsychosis firsthand. Not a fun time.

>>

>they got to experience cyberpsychosis firsthand
Which, is bullshit, by the way.
>>
>>48138654
What, cyberpsychosis? It makes sense, unless you've got a GM that insists on going straight to CYBERNETICS STEAL YOUR SOUL (though granted, that's pretty much how SR cybernetics work) instead of it being a culmination of little things that are just *off*, like how you can't feel certain things very well after getting a new hand, or how you sometimes taste copper because of a shoddy cyberskull installation.

Having cold, heavy, unfeeling hunks of metal attached to your shoulder isn't that good for your psyche when combined with all the other shit going on in LoT, I'd imagine.
>>
>>48138641
We're on page 11 but if you wanna I'll be up for while so we can finish this in the next one if I don't answer all your questions.

The ecception to the rule is the Morris Clan who had two individuals in canon, there are a couple of others but they have been stripped from canon, use the Vampire Killer. John and Johnathon Morris respectively used it for two generations before it was retired until the Belmont Clan was found again.
