Tuners are monsters that are needed to syncro summon by adding their level and the level of another monster equal to the level of the syncro. Level 2 Tuner + Level 3 Monster = Level 5 Syncro

Syncro monsters are monsters with strong effects from the extra deck made by the method above.

Syncro summoning is literally just the method above. Tuner levels + Non-Tuner levels = Syncro monster of that level. Some syncros have higher costs like 1 tuner and 1 syncro monster rather than any old piece of shit though.

Pendulum summoning is where you place 2 cards in the pendulum zones. The card in the OP has 2 colored crystals with an 8 on, which forms an "8" scale on whichever zone it's in. If you then place a "1" scale in the opposite zone you can special summon level 2 to 7 monsters from the hand in one move.

Qli wasn't even a good Pendulum deck. They only worked because they were able to run a shit load of stun. Just look at the current OCG builds. They run like 22 traps and 9 monsters.
