How do I bind things to people's souls?

I want to mass produce Sailor Senshi powers by duplicating my Sailor Crystal using that Minecraft perk.

You could try the perks from Tales of Symphonia and EVA.
>>
>>47828225
Don't those draw upon the power of a particular planet that vary from seed to seed? Seems like cheatmoding them would be equivalent to installing a bunch of taps on a single water reservoir. They'd still empower people but have no reason to increase the resource pools of those people.

Once upon a time there was a very stupid jumper who took a perk that sent him back to his warehouse in the event of X, X was bad so this seemed like a good way to avoid it. Eventually X happened and the idiot was sent back to his warehouse. At first he was relieved that his plan had worked and he had successfully avoided X, until he noticed one small problem. . . There was no entrance to the warehouse open when he was sent to it. The very stupid jumper was now stuck in the warehouse for the rest of the jump with no way out, Jump Chan was much amused watching him descend into insanity due to the isolation.

What should this stupid jumper take in order to escape his warehouse the next time he fucks up like this?

You fail to understand how stupid this jumper is, he could have easily avoided this predicament by leaving his warehouse open. . . he did not. Any method that requires prior planning will fail due to incompetence.

Portals? Do you mean the portal entrance to the warehouse? How would opening a portal to the warehouse from within the warehouse let the idiot escape?

There's a perk in the recent Kingdom Hearts jump that lets you do, literally, that exact thing.

Buy the flute from Barkley's Shut Up & Jam.
Or get portal generation from Generator Rex. Which is expensive, but so nice.

Portals let you cross through dimensions fairly easily. The flute specifically lets you warp to and from your warehouse.

Oh right, amusing thing about Devil May Cry 3's Devil Trigger designs that I totally forgot about.

The guy that made them was also responsible for all of the designs for at least up until Nocturne/ Strange Journey, for the Shin Megami Tensei Demons, a few designs for ZOE2, and this thing in the Super Robot Wars Alpha series

I would imagine it's expensive because, by the standards of the jump, it's pretty damn powerful. You can provide infinite nourishing food. Feed armies. End famine. That's no small feat.

I mean, for a jumper with 100+ jumps or whatever the fuck power climb you've gotten to it's probably not that big a deal, but by the standards of the jump, "I can end hunger" is a pretty big deal.

I think the only other thing that is truly comparable is that "Let's all join hands and sing together" perk that solves problems, but I'm too lazy to bring up the actual jump to check.
I imagine that's why it is expensive in comparison to other options, which include such greats as "I can give people colds", and, "I'm allowed to swear."
>>
>>47828610

Think Plug N Play would be better for replacing the Crystal in the process instead of changing what it draws on. I mean it would still work decently but pretty sure not in that particular manner. I look forward to seeing Sailor Tajador.
>>
>>47828706
It's the Link upgrade option to Portals in the Warehouse supplement. It doesn't get talked about much due to the ease that the key gives, but it's an important part of my build.
>>
>>47828714

All that does is let you have two portals so you can use your warehouse to travel between those two locations quickly. . .
>>
>>47828776
No.

Then again I went Dark Eldar, so take my advice with a shaker of salt.
>>
>>47828735
Great idea. I did the same, only I fixed the problem by cutting down the tree.
>>
>>47828776
The Alpha indoc is in the text, it describes it happening it just doesn't come out and say, oh hey you're indoctrinated now. It's a reading comprehension check.

The claim is pure trap as there's nothing about it in the jump material.
>>
People have been talking about the capabilities of Equivalent Exchange in the last few threads, so I went looking for some information on the actually capabilities, but I'm having some difficulty finding a reliable source of information on the topic like a wiki I can refer to.

Any assistance?
>>
>>47828797
Might need some research into how to make Senshi in the first place. Luckily by fluff Eris was the hub of a lot of magical research. It's up to fanwank how much you need to actually establish them as Senshi instead of OOOs or whatever, but that might be mitigated by using a duplicate Crystal and then swapping it out. Pretty sure due to reincarnation drama there's more to it than holding a Crystal though.

It's all about having a grievance with the target.
It really helps get the spook juices flowing over a long enough period of time for a Grudge style spooking.
Familicide is a good way to get me in a grudge mood.

>>47827960
If someone really pisses me off, I trap them in a hallway using portals. Every time they complete a loop, I use illusions to alter the hall in ways symbolic to how they pissed me off. It gets really trippy after a while, and is filled with horror both classic, and personalized to the offender.
It's based off of PT, and available to me since around jump eleven. Later, I just turn it into a recurring dream.

I heard there was also a scuffle with the Wyrd staff in the 5th DLC. Apparently if you roll an option 3 times or more the staff makes your power go completely out of control. So uh, if anyone rolled something like weapon jinx 3 times I hope you got good life insurance.

It's flawless Dimension Door with unlimited range available from your first or second jump.

Be in Singapore and open a portal to your warehouse, while in the warehouse open another portal to Mars. If you've taken the Force Wall too, it's great. You can move where you want and escape any prison you want.
>>
There is a Rust jump, what about a DayZ or ARK jump?
>>
>>47828898

Per the text:

>Link - Requires Portal. Open two Portals and use the WAREHOUSE as fast travel. -30CP

It's expensive and you have to give up your key, but it's worth it. All you need to do to offset the main advantage of key is to find shrinking magic. Lots of places have that, and I took Fairy Tale long before I took any jump that gave me something that needed more than a 80sqft portal.

The repository is my brain.

I make up stories on my own time, as I make builds and imagine what might have happened in them. Many of these stories are not fully formed when I first make the build, and so as a result my "I'm posting a build" stories tend not to be especially riveting, particularly because I tend to just go over the broad points in an attempt to confine them to a single post. That and I'll blather if given half a chance. But they're still being turned over in my head, waiting for the right stimuli to make me spew my narrative vomit on the thread.

Of course, sometimes people do ask interesting questions that get me thinking in a new way, and then I'll make something up on the spot, just because, "Yeah, that sounds like a thing I'd do."

Like this next one!

>>47827960
I have sadly never done that, as I tend to rely on intimidation auras for the sake of... uh... intimidation. Often in sudden, out-of-nowhere flashes, where once everything was completely normal. It's my way of saying, "Stop it."

However, I have done the "walk slowly after someone, teleporting periodically so that they can't actually create distance no matter how hard they run" thing.

What jump was that? Who knows!
It just seems like a thing I'd do.

>>47828833

I'm probably wrong, but The Magic Pot may be a reference the story "The Magic Pudding", where the pudding is actually a character.

>>47828734
Bit of both.
I've done a significant amount of writefagging in some settings, so those times I can lift stories from that.
Most other jumps I have notes like "while I'm here, steal this, do this, visit these places, kill that guy".
Someone asking me "did you fight X and if so how?" I look at my notes and go "yeah, I would've fought that dude" then work out from my perks and items how that went. That story then gets pasted into my jump file.

>>47828928

Supernatural has the Angelic perk On The Wings Of A Prayer; it allows instantaneous travel to any location you are familiar with, and doesn't care if the destination is in another dimension (since Angels can use it get between various realms). Of course, this does mean having to jump Supernatural.

Alternately get Gate or Miracle from a D&D jump. Of course, this does mean...

Alternately alternately, get the Atlantean Rings from Chronicles Of Narnia jump. With the right choices, it can be a fairly safe jump.

I know fuck-all about worm. What I DO have is a lot invested in both magic, spell-creation, mad science and power-copying.

You could also go to the Original Doom jump, buy the Walnut Creek CDRom option, and load the SOS Doom Mod for your Doom Experience. Then use a "reproduce technology with magic" perk to copy the senshi-powers-as-guns from SOS Doom to create alternate sources of their attack powers. Seems like you could even use Argent Energy from Doom 2016 to power that.
>>
>>47829530

>>
>>47829593
I think Crimson Saint lets you go both ways.
>>
>>47829499
As I understand it, Well, and this is why the jewelcraft and lacrima creation is relevant, the Senshi we know are basically the human reincarnations of extraterrestrial life with crystaline souls that are tied to their power. Queen Serenity, Usagi/Princess/Neo-Queen Serenity and Chibiusa are all mortal incarnations of the Silver Crystal. Which is an artifact with power on the cosmic scale (the problem is effectively utilizing said power though)

The other senshi have crystals as well, though not nearly on the same scale as Usagi's.

Only thing I really like to pull is what I call Voorhees Mode.
Shut down all super speed, regen, and most durability perks; but leave intimidation, superstrength, immunity to pain, and 'you can keep functioning despite your injuries' perks all on at full blast.
For bonus points be a little huge, wear a mask, have a perk that makes you scarier when they don't know who you are, and never speak to your victims– I mean enemies.
Oh, and a teleportation perk. How does a guy that slow keep showing up behind his victims like that?

People shit themselves. It's hilarious.

Crystalline alien lifeform with reality warping cosmic powers known as an Ultimate One from Type-Moon, something akin to the avatar of another planet. They used to be the absolute strongest conceptual (until Kiara came along) because in Type-Moon different planets have different laws of physics and the Ultimate Ones run on their native planets' physics. Apparently while you can't concept hax them, you CAN physically destroy them if you have enough brute force (looking at you Ado "my sword is made of an appreciable amount of the planet and functions like Ea but better" Edem) but IIRC their consciousness will just respawn on their home planet.

This one's the Ultimate One of Mercury.

Doubt you still here anon but here's a rundown of the most important stuff

Transmutation Tablet: Place something on it and the tablet will add it to its memory and tell you its energy value. The Tablet then allows you to break stuff down into energy and can reform it into anything else in its memory as long as you have energy to do so. Works for anything that can fit, Ridiculously Exploitable. Try Atlamization from Dark Cloud or shrinking perks to fit larger stuff on there. There are also energy battery type items that let you store energy for later.

Mass Collector: Don't remember the exact name but it produces matter at rate dependent on the local light level. Literally giving you something from nothing. If I remember right it only produces energy type items (coal, gun powder, etc) but cycles those items up as it goes through its inventory slots (if you leave it alone long enough it'll fill itself up with red matter). You can then break these down with the Transmutation Tablet

Eventually you can also make and play around with Dark Matter and the more powerful Red Matter. Armor and Weapons and such.

If it sounds outright broken that is because it is, and some people refused to use it because it made the game too easy. Also I haven't played recent versions so this may be off.

I get to be Moses again! Or something like Moses. I've never seen this show, but the descriptions I'm reading basically mean we have to outrun robots that genocided humans. And also, everybody is mormons? Well, okay.

I'm bringing in the Light of Terra and we're going to run defense against the Cylons. Our entire goal is to get them to Earth as safely as we can. That means two things: Negotiations and Combat. Apparently the robots are not trustworthy, being lieing liar faces who lie. I can use this. Constant negotiations means I can keep making pledges to punish them for. I will probably have to be oblique in how that works, though I don't expect them to believe it at first. I doubt I'll be able to sweep the Cylons, giving my robot-hunting powers aren't that good. It'd probably be easier to just mindscan the fleshy ones for any information and hope that I can route what plans they have.

My companions are not caring so much about this jump, but that's fine. The ship populaces seem to find war a strange prospect after all this time, given the amount of them that are partially machine. After the first Cylon attempt at subversion on the ship, though, a large enough chunk of them got into it that efficiency doubled for the war effort. Isaac and Arlissa were ecstatic.

Merging all of my forms together was inevitable. It's still pretty much just a skeletal lich, just with the height I had as an illithid (yay for being eight feet tall), eye sockets that glow from within by flickering flames, and vampire teeth. And, of course, the shapeshifting abilities of a shiny Ditto.

Really, there's not a lot of things to say, aside from Carcosa popping in as a floating city and things adapting to fit the locals' expectations. Floating cities make for interesting plot hooks, if nothing else, and it means people don't have to worry about monster attacks there. My plan was honestly to play the plot the way they wanted it - screw the silliness, I'm straight-up charging the castle, and to hell with anyone else.

The results were not as unfavorable as I expected, though it definitely blew Kayaba's expectations to see someone solo his entire fucking game. And then solo him.

Power-levelling has its benefits.

Jumpers! Has anyone ever FORCED you to make them a companion?

I didn't think it was possible, but my Loathesome Vampire Master just learned I was a jumper, and forced me to scuttle a pod to accomodate her so she can leap to a new world and become its vampire queen, the progenitor of a new world of vampires.

Frankly, I don't think she has thought this through, but I can't contradict her and she's not interested in my thoughts. She's holding all my duplicates at bay with the threat of making me self terminate and end the chain.

But... y'know, next jump, she's going to be dealing with an angry, full power jumper whose willpower perks are suddenly no longer negated by a drawback. I don't think she accounted for that, do you?

>>
>>47831625
Not sure, haven't read Vampire, just know of that tidbit from reading WoD threads. Basically it revolves around a Coil that gives an Ordo Dracul member one additional free Vitae when feeding on something that provides Vitae, meaning sucking one from another vampire gets you two. You then get a second vamp with that Coil and mutually feed on one another. No clue on the precise kinds of insanity and such induced by the feeding on another vampire thing.

Though I guess you could also just not turn your partner into a vampire so you can still feed from her with no problems.

>>47831655
I took the drawback:

>Loathsome Regnant (+400cp) – Not only are you blood bound, but you are also in thrall to a vampire who mistreats you hideously. Perhaps you are publicly abused or humiliated; perhaps your master forces you to commit unspeakable acts for him/her. In any case, existence under the bond is a never-ending nightmare, with your regnant serving to conduct the symphony of malice.

And suddenly, all my power I've accumulated is a dangerous tool in her hands. Since it's drawback-enforced, I can't break free of her enthralling, not while I'm here.

Took it, figuring that it'd only make my master aware of my vampire powers, and at best, my mage powers as well, as they were of the same world. ... nope, Jumpchan saw to it that they saw all of what I am.

They forced me to send a pod companion home, so that they could crawl into this pod and ride with me to the next world.

In the little place inside my mind that is still secret from her, I contemplate making my next jump to VTM:Bloodlines. Just... dropping her off in a far more crapsack world of darkness, where nothing will work quite the way she expects it.

No. I lost my link to the chart, but only a minority of yandere types do so. Most don't. There are many kinds, anon, and being violent isn't even a required traits. The only things required for a yandere are mental problems and obsessive love.

>>
>>47831880
Yep, that's a good summary of common yandere types. Notice how most don't actively target their loved one, and of those that do, only one type will do so violently while the rest are more 'will tie you up/socially isolate you' etc.
>>
>>47831899
I think there was a bigger one but I couldn't find it that was the closest one I could find.

Any psionic or magic that lets you mind rape and reprogram the target should do it.
>>
>>47831635
That seems excessive. I'd rather nuke the final boss in a hilariously short period of time and call it a day.

I can almost see how this could be practical. If they were fairly powerful, but you had a method of controlling them, you could keep them in a sort of Yandere Box in your Warehouse, and just drop the box on targets you just needed to destroy, like a tactical nuke.
>>

I just want to power up their violet power rings. . .

But that is a good idea too. . .

Looking over at the age of ice dlc, how are any of those bosses meant to be survivable? If i take lore as crunch it doesn't seem like a jumper can win unless they have some serious jumps under their belt.
>>
>>47828914
I thought it's range was 'fairly close to you', at least when I asked about it ages ago. It's more like a flawless Mark & Recall with portals than Dimension Door. You could get back from Mars if you left one on Earth, but it can't open the other one anywhere in the universe.

But I asked a long time ago, so maybe I'm remembering it wrong. I just feel like this is where No Limits Fallacy anon would chime in and say just because it doesn't mention range doesn't mean it has literally infinite range across distance and dimensions.
>>
>>47832021
Anon it was never a good idea.

I swear this is becoming my go-to pic for big fights.

>Under that gray sky, she ripped herself free of her bonds. When the ropes broke, she took the entire pillar she'd been tied to with them. The Sableye were dispatched easily - no fatalities, but none of them would be getting up for a while. There was no time to double-tap. She needed to get moving.

>Sniffing her way about the area revealed Grovyle's location, and breaking him out was simple enough. He'd been preparing to break out himself, using the moment the Sableye cut the ropes with their Fury Swipes to strike. He was surprised, though, to see just how much power the Absol was throwing around. Without even using a Move, she'd broken him free by headbutting his intended execution spot to rubble in one strike.

>"...this isn't right. Even at Crystal Cave, you were never able to do that. Certainly not now. Anyway, the way back to the Passage of Time is probably blocked by now. We're going to have to find Celebi."

>"Celebi?"

>"She can get us there, and back to the past."

>"Grovyle. I'm going to have to ask you a favor."

>"What?"

>"When we get to this Passage? Go on ahead of me. If you make it through and take the Time Gears, this future can still be stopped. I don't know where they're keeping the Time Gears. Take this device with you. If you press that button there, it'll call someone to help. He'll know what to do in case I don't make it."

>"How will I know who it is?"

>"He won't be any kind of Pokemon you've ever seen. When I'm holding the device, he can even evolve temporarily as long as I tell him to."

>"Why send me ahead? This makes no sense."

>"I've got a god to fight."

>"You're... not actually going to fight Primal Dialga, are you?"

>"And Dusknoir, if I have to. It's the only way to make sure you get back and they don't follow you to interrupt. That's what you went back to the past for, right?"

>"...promise me something."

>"Promise me you'll live. Don't need you dying like an idiot."

>"No problem. I think you're the only living thing here that can actually stand me for more than five seconds."

>The plan proceeded roughly as expected - if only because any unforeseen hindrances broke at the Absol's approach like balsa wood against an iron ram. When at last they made it to the Passage of Time, Dusknoir sprung his trap - only to find himself swiftly on the receiving end of a Night Slash from an opponent who was only sligtly holding back.

>Everyone there gasped a little in surprise. In addition to Dusknoir's almost immediately being knocked unconscious, the ground itself bore a mid-sized crater from the impact, and a crack that ran for several meters beyond it in the direction the Absol had been facing.

>"Grovyle, go!"

>Still possibly terrified, the Grass-type made his way through the Passage to the past, with Celebi's aid. As for the Absol... she had other problems.

>Said problems consisted of a giant, unthinking, ANGRY draconic god of time and... well, mostly just that. That, headed straight for her at a speed she could swear she'd only seen maybe twice before.

>"So, you wish to destroy me, monster? Then come and take me, if you dare!"

>The roar it gave off in reply was no mere cry of rage. A blistering blue beam issued forth from its maw, annihilating all in its path until at last it reached the Absol. The first surprise the beast found was when the puny creature before it leaped into the air and kicked the beam, somehow diverting it entirely. If it had any conscious thoughts at the time, they would have gone something like 'you... blocked?'

>The Legendary Pokemon wouldn't have had time to act on such a thought either way. The time it desperately needed to recharge after that attack worked against it, as the tiny thing immediately loosed a burst of speed of her own, ramming it in the chest and sending it stumbling backward.

>>47832256
I've got other waifus already, so, they're unlikely to approve of grooming her into one. Especially after she forced them to be locked away for two long jumps.

They're also mostly (except Esdeath) better people than me, so they're not going to be happy about me getting an equal measure of revenge either...

>>47832374

That's not addressing the usage of Link at all.

>The idea that something so puny could even MOVE it, let alone injure it even slightly, only served to enrage the beast further. So of course, it did what any wrathful physical god would do - summoned all of its godly might and brought down a massive claw on the petulant whelp, hoping to smash it in a single blow. Indeed, the ground found itself bearing a larger crater now - but something was wrong. Primal Dialga's claw was not lifting because it willed it.

>That little THING was actually about to budge it again!

>"URAAAAAAAHHHHH! DO YOU THINK YOU CAN OVERCOME ME JUST LIKE THAT?"

>Something began to well up inside her. She remembered all the adventures she'd had. What few friends she'd ever made. Her only family - her son. A child's smile. A girl's determination. A ring bearing the gift of love. A pledge made to herself, and herself alone.

>"I AM THE KNIGHT OF DOOM, AND YOU WILL HEEL, MONSTER!"

>At that moment, she did something most would assume none could do - she flung the creature into the air.

>Obviously, the temporal god-beast was unhappy with this - and the moment it landed, it began to engage the arrogant worm at high speed. The clash of somehow nearly-equal forces left the surrounding area devastated more and more with each blow. Claw met claw, and the air shook. Sheer will hardened the smaller creature's body, turning it a metallic black. She would not allow those she cared for to die so easily.

>So it went for what must have been hours, had time still flowed in that grey future. As both began to run out of breath, it was clear that the smaller of the two was looking worse for wear. That led her to a decision. It was one she hopefully would not come to regret.

>"In this future, dead and frozen... I know there might not be enough, but I have to try! There has to be enough love left in this world for just one shot. I'm... sorry! Now, with what's left of my old darkness. FIRE!"

>A Legendary Pokemon was not so easily beaten.

>The Temporal Pokemon had had ENOUGH. This PEST had had the gall to challenge it in its own domain. There would be retribution for this. It unleashed a Roar of Time, once again scouring the ground before it and knocking the Absol backward. She simply did not have enough energy to do... whatever she had done before to prevent herself from taking damage. As she struggled to stand again, the mighty Legendary raised its Dragon Claw one last time, knowing that would end this once and for all. And yet, as it leaped to strike, the Absol's one visible eye flashed blue - bringing the beast careening undamaged to the ground.

>The time it spent recovering from its awkward fumble gave its opponent barely enough time to limp away into the Passage of Time. As to whether she would make it to the past? No one then knew.

>As for the Absol herself? She knew that some had been called gods in other places for doing less than what she had just barely survived doing, and only that because it was a dumb brute. Was this monster really that strong?

Made me into a Caster Servant, and since my Intelligent Device/Demon Weapon Partner is locked away lest she free me, replacing her is an A++ Rank Anti-Army noble phantasm styled after an Intelligent Device named "Raging Heart" after the ambiguities in translating the name of Nanoha's device.

backing that up is an A++ rank Anti-Thaumaturgy Noble Phantasm "Dreambreaker" which is a gauntlet that can generate an Imagine Breaker style effect.

She nearly had me screwed in spending me into the negative servant points and picking up "Personality Clash" but Jumpchan saved me, pointing out that the wording didn't work, I wouldn't be forced to get along with her, since I was the jumper and she was the companion.

Now she's searching for the world we're going to next...

Wild Card? I've got a question about the Persona Jump if you're here.

Could I get a ruling on whether or not one's Persona and those of others could reach their ultimate forms within the Jump itself when you don't have Self-Aware, but you have Psychologist?

Also, considering that Personas in P5 when not in use take the form of masks, could I use this to introduce the idea of my Persona Jump's persona take the form of weapons best related to their user?

Ultimate Personas require the Self-Aware perk. However, you can absolutely Awaken your Persona without it. It'll require about the same effort as it'll take to get the Ultimate Persona with Self-Awareness.

If you want your Persona to take the form of a weapon, you can use the Nihil Forma. It transforms into the weapon best suited to you, but I wouldn't say no to fluffing it as your Persona becoming that weapon. You know, with the caveat that you follow the same rules for the Persona and the Forma.
>>
Aside from combining weapons with the various weapon combination perks, items, and techniques throughout the chain, where could I get my hands on a rifle that can transform into a sniper?
>>
>>47834600
I see, considering that I wanted to do this as a Party thing and that it was simply a way to summon and use persona in battle, like take my Gunsona, I have it stated as being generally pathetic with physical (normal) attacks, so simply shooting ain't gonna do much, but then when I cast status ailments with each shot, things are much more effective. It's much the same with the other members of the party.

Would that fly? Ah! Basically, I had the idea of persona taking the form of weapons rather than the usual forms, and act as the weapons for the actual Persona (taken via Hidden Depths). Which will only be made apparent in the last battle with Nyarlie.
>>
>>47834669
You could say that you want a sniper rifle. hehehe. But honestly just get a good rifle with a good scope and an option to go to semi auto.

Well I'm not a gun nut myself but a good rifle should be able to hit to do longer range engagements. Just don't expect to hit things what are a mile or so away. But most modern rifles should be able to do a pretty good job at it.
>>
Okay, so I've pondered on the description in the jump, and poured over the wiki, and I still have to ask--what the hell does the Correspondence Course from Fallen London actually do? Do you just speak in the language of stars and the world changes to accommodate you? Do you need things to sacrifice, or should you simply be mindful to not overheat when your borking reality backwards? What are the limitations? I'm sorry if whatever I'm missing is blatantly obvious, and I've just passed over it somehow, but I'm just not understanding something about it.
>>
>>47834430
Well, you should take all the low danger ones at least. You won't fail the jump even if you fail the scenarios, and winning them gives you 300 free cp each.

If you think you can manage it i'd try to complete the medium level Dragonfly Effect too.
The Orb of Scrying grants you almost perfect scrying and postcognition abilities, which is a very powerful ability to have.

The other higher threat scenarious are too much hassle for the rewards imo, so i wouldn't bother.
>>
>>47834688
I guess there's no reason you can't envision your Persona as a weapon. It's weird in the context of the series, but I guess it's objectively no weirder than summoning a disco robot. Just remember the universal rule of refluffing - figure out how to do it so you don't get any extra benefits from the change.

That said, you don't need to be pathetic with physical attacks as long as you're paying MP for the privilege. Persona physical skills are absolutely a thing.

Also, ideally, you should find legendary weapons that match the weapon type you're thinking of.

Funny thing about that, I'm using famous books as basis for the initial persona, and because they have affected the mindset of humanity, in the Shadow World, the ideas that they gave birth to are the best weapons humanity could wield. The hidden persona are the archetypes of those that those books have affected the most.

Like how the Art of War Hermit: Awakened Persona has transformed the way the Strategist Judgement: Hidden Persona sees the World. So have other books.

And I guess that's what I wanted have my Persona Jump acknowledge really. That, and the idea of having all these ideas and their generations simultaneously kick Nyarlie in the face in one glorious F-U might also be a driving factor.

I'm not sure exactly what you can do... I don't think it's straight-up reality warping into whatever you want. But it's basically a reality warping language.

Seems to primarily be really good at generation of heat, and driving people insane. But not sure what its actual limits are.

You just speak it, yes. Or write sigils of on something heat-resistant. No need to sacrifice anything or stuff like that.

This is just what I remember from the threads it came up in through. Maybe someone more knowledgeable about Fallen London can explain it better.
>>
>>47834430
Yes, you can take as many experienced classes as you want/have points for.

You're perfectly fine with the Low threat scenarios, and could probably deal with 11th: Our Hero and Dragonfly Effect.

Not sure about Black Roses, since I don't know enough about Lord Soth himself.

High threats are probably a no-go with just that.
>>
>>47828504
Huh. Speaking of the Mandrakeskin cloak...

I've always been weirded out by it. It just makes absolutely no sense to me. What the fuck is the rationale for your jumper to suddenly take the skin of a crazy deldar? How the hell do you get a good cloak from that an empty sack of skin? And why the fuck is it coming loose and not liquifying? Why is it magic?

Also, it's gross, which is why I've never taken it. BUT did any of you take it? Why, or why not?
>>
>>47834824
You know, that's a neat idea. I never really thought about what themes to do for Personas as a group, but since Persona 3 the canon parties have had some neat running patterns to them. I don't really see much of a uniting theme in P1 or P2, but P3's Personas are figures associated with death (and often, but not always, rebirth) from the mythology of the Mediterranean and Asia Minor, P4's Personas are Japanese gods whose myths are either related to Izanagi or are heroes of folklore, and it looks like P5's Personas are going to be criminals from fiction and folklore. I wonder what theme would suit my party? I'm going to have to think on this, decide what mythological archetype my time in Persona would be reflecting on.
>>
Do you think it would be fair to say that by using arcane from smite, various magic circles and enchantments, and loads of raw mana I could condense a lot of raw mana into liquid form or even force it to crystallize?

I was thinking of shooting for 10 years worth of mana for a drop and 100 drops for a bead sized crystal if I decide to crystallize it.
>>
>>47835260
Sure, that sounds reasonable. There probably is a way to condense mana already somewhere in the chain, but nothing comes immediately to mind. But yeah, this should be fine. What are you going to use the condensed mana for?
>>
>>47835260
That seems perfectly reasonable. Sure. Through the 'various magic circles and enchantments' bit is really vague.

>I was thinking of shooting for 10 years worth of mana for a drop and 100 drops for a bead sized crystal if I decide to crystallize it.
That... less so, atleast to me? You'd have a ludicrous amount of energy in an itty-bitty space.
>>
>>47835284
Im going to make it into alcohol. And find a way to make the crystals into seasonings. Literally magic food and drink.

Also might use it for plugnplay purposes to substitute needing batteries for anything.
>>
>>47835294
Sorry I have a lot of enchantment perks and magic perks I was thinking of making a circle to catch the mana, hold it, thrn press it together untill it condenses into a liquid which would then fall into a resevoir. The time scale was just for how much I was looking to condense at regular non boosted rate by using ambient magic in a medium to.low grade magic setting. I eventually plan on chucking the entire set up into my time anomolies to get a couple thousand years of juice out of it in a jump so I can eventually use it for other purposes.

Like food and drinks, or oil for a golem.

Depends on what setting that mana is from, because usually mana is not matter.
It doesn't have have aggregate states.
You can no more make liquid mana than liquid electricity.

Now if all you want is create a liquid or crystal that stores mana, that's easy. A lot of settings have some kind of mana potion/ether already.

I doubt you can condense 10 years worth of mana into a single drop unless you're an incredibly weak mage though, but maybe superscience/magitech perks will help with that. Fanwank something.
>>
>>47835337
I havent really seen anything to go with to help aid in the process though is the big problem. I was planning on looking into energon as a model as it seems to be energy in all 3 states. If I had a way I would use fma alchemy to condense it if possible but I dont know if that would work either.

Over all its a tricky project.
>>
>>47835324
Ah, okay. It thought you meant the actual mana you can generate in 10 years/10*100 years, contained in one drop/bead. Which is a whole fucking lot.

If you just mean using 10 years to make a drop, then you can /probably/ speed that up? Seems slow to me.

The hardest part then is probably changing how the mana works, as >>47835337 says, usually it doesn't take a physical form.
>>
While we're talking about this, do any of the various perks that let you integrate magic into tech mention letting you use things like mana potions to fuel your tech?
>>
>>47834747
I thought Faith Up My Sleeve had that note at the end about "fail any of this, and your great adventure is over?"

>>47834991
Thanks!
>>
>>47835380
Plug n play from neo heisei. As long as its an equal or greater power source you can slap it in place of the batteries.
>>
>>47835390
It probably just means the Faith Up My Sleeve adventure. Because the page before it says this:

>Failing Medium and High Threat Level modules constitutes a fail-death condition for the Dragonlance jump, with all the usual penalties applying. Failing Low Threat Level modules does not have this same risk.
>>
>>47835358
Oh yeah I realize it would be a lot but thats why I was only shooting for low power ambient magic at first. If I can get it up and running I plan on putting it into production on a higher scale.

Maybe 10 years per drop and 100 per bead sized rock.

Would energy even be considered a plasma? Its not solid liquid or gas in its natural state. I suppose I could use my scientific knowledge of how matter is made up of tightly wound balls of energy to try and alchemy it up. But Im a bit iffy on that front too.

Also my memory may not be that great is matter still made if wnergy these days? I forget what the science term is for it or if this theory has changed.
>>
>>47835390
Huh, so it does. The general outline for scenarios states that only medium and high threat scenarious make you lose the chain if you fail them.

Don't do that then i guess? Or only do it if you think you're strong enough.
Or replace it with Dragonfly Effect.
That one relies far more on charisma, sublety and planning than raw power, with maybe a bit of low-key mind control/mental nudging to make sure, so if you have a few of those you should be fine. And the reward is worth it.
>>
>>47831860

Why would you subject yourself to that? It seems FAR too much trouble to go through for some extra points.
>>
>>47835439
He appears to find it fun, considering how much he keeps letting himself get screwed over by it.
>>
>>47835456
I think it's his fetish.
>>
>>47835439
Some people are masochists like that?

It's either that or not comprehending that "you have a lot of awesome superpowers, probably world-shattering" and "somebody gets control of you. They're evil and like to see you suffer." is a really bad combo.
That anon probably didn't take any intelligence boosting perks, not that you should need them for this conclusion.

>>47835477 is probably the less embarassing of the two options, if you think about it.
>>
>>47835477

It's a shit fetish.
>>
>>47831498
I don't have any pods...
>>
>>47835439
Yeah, especially with MUCH less horrible drawbacks in the jump. For more points even.

Still not sure why Blindness is a big thing for vampires, but I'll take it for +600 any day.
>>
>>47835519
Being killed by sunlight and being totally unable to detect sunlight are a pretty bad combo.
>>
>>47835541
We've got technology for that, these days. Not even jumper tech, just in-universe things. "Detecting light" is not hard.
>>
>>47835541
Oh, fair point. Through if you can see the sunlight, aren't you already in trouble?

>>47835556
Also this.
>>
>>47833463
It's more that people were so upset at the idea someone else might make SuperMegaGodmon despite the jumpmaker saying no, that they pretended they wanted SuperMegaGodmon and tried to force fanwanks through about doing it all while the jumpmaker said they couldn't do that, harassing him across an entire thread until he finally gave in and withdrew the jump like those people wanted in the first place.

It was a fucking disgusting situation.
>>
>>47834757
I was a Minus in Medaka, so of course.
>>
>>47835040
I did take it, I then used my absorption powers to eat it and makes its abilities innate to me.

Now that we've learned that this cloak APPARENTLY molests you, I'm pretty happy about my decision to eat it. Now whatever consciousness was there is dead and it can't do such things, as the cloak no longer exists and its powers belong to me.
>>
>>47835499
That's true, but it's the explanation.
>>
>>47835610
Its power of molesting things?
>>
>>47835648
Oh I already had that power.

This narration brought to you by NEO Jazz
>Well, I guess it's time for a Kamen Rider to step up. Been awhile since I had to do this sort of thing. After the deal with that one kid Mus got along with disturbingly well things had quieted down. Should've known this strange world would stir up old habits in him. Mus is a good guy once you get to know him, but prudence is not one of his virtues.
>Anyway, so we find ourselves in a new world, Russ is a skeleton right. Only then he catches wind from one of his new friends that the King is sitting on some objects of great power. He gets a gleam in his eye, like in the old days with Supersonic. Nasty business that. Anyway, he inquires as to their location and then is off like a bullet. With some help from some skeleton I manage to reach the castle a bit ahead of him. Only thing is Muss is clever, he knows he's not going to easily take down all the guards on the place so he stops outside and we have a brief chat. I try to talk him down but he's as determined as always when it comes to unusual objects. Before I can leverage my songs against him he pulls out the Void Memory.
>You see back in the day the Void Dopant was probably the most troublesome of them all. Sure he and his goons lacked the sheer physical might of the others, but they were hard as hell to actually locate in the first place. A flash of light and a quiet apology later and he's gone. Me and the fish girl try to warn the King, but by the time we get to them Muss appears from nowhere and gobbles down one of those heart looking things I assume are these soul things that he was after. He starts to twist and deform, bursting into medals before reforming around the remaining ones and engulfing them too.
>So that gets us to the present, judging by his screams Muss isn't as in control as usual, so it falls to me to end all this. After all I'm a Kamen Rider and he's a Greeed, coming to blows was inevitable.
