I think you can choose almost any topic and make a nice class out of it with some creativity, like a knight based around constellations, detective-type about tracking and noir stuff or berserker with rape powers.

Depends on the type of ninja, but they are usually more martial arts based than assassins which tend to be 1 HKO types. KI based skills, often elemental, also gives them access to a form of magic. The writing and characterization really, it has to be spot on, concise enough to fit in one or two maybe three sentences per option but detailed enough for autistic players to put all the pieces together like a puzzle when they read between the lines. This keeps them hooked.

And the most important aspect of a good cyoa is inherent tribalism. There has to be competing factions that the players can identify and be part of, forming the cornerstone of their escapist narrative that shapes everything else.

Other then that, waifuable and non waifuable companions are a must.

I see it as some sort of boogey man endurance hunter, using its band of mooks, toughness, speed, teleportation and regeneration to battle or pursue its opponent until they simply cannot fight any longer and it kills them. Against the dark hero the battle will probably consist of jumping and teleporting everywhere firing lasers. If the hero does somehow wound me I will just teleport and/or flee to safety while my mooks keep him busy so I can heal.

Thought I would use this time to talk on some stuff relating to hero academy.

So about the new page, clubs are desined to be very vauge and openended much in the same way as events. If none of the ideas listed suit your fancy I highly suggest and encourage you to make up your own club and just categorize under either sports, education, arts, or culture (this is purely for book keeping purposes on my end.) Drawbacks are pretty self explaintory so I won't go musch into them unless asked

As for future content the next planed is not one but two brand new schools, one will be desert/arabian themed academy the other will be a school themed after the Vatican. I would love to hear what kinda of classes and companions you would like to see in these new schools.

Might not be strictly necessary. Even if you get trapped in a computer with no internet access you could shut down most computers, problem is if you get trapped in something with no I/O that keeps itself online. Then you're trapped as long as the power source lasts.

Well you might as well increase the base points and companions by 1. Bookworm and Social Butterfly aren't mutually exclusive. I guess you're giving up exchange program and pen pal, but that could be handled more elegantly than getting to the end and having to re-do your build.

As for the other schools, the vatican one should probably have an ancient and obscure knowledge course, with the vatican library and all. Call it Applied Semiotics, to tie in to all the Da Vinci coding. Take it to have bizarre and applicable knowledge about how to stop cultists, where the hidden map is leading you, and the cultural habits of long lost tribes. Anything that would fall under Indiana Jones Archeology.

Exorcism would be a good idea as well. Shut down spirits, break curses, etc. Sort of a less combat focused anti magic build, compensating with a greater area (but not necessarily overlapping) of affect.

As for companions, some bishop's bastard would be good, along with Joan of Arc. I would suggest not having a Paladin type, since you can find those in the general list. But something Jesuitesque and maybe a spy of some kind should work well. You don't go to Vatican school to beat people up, you go there to learn and talk your way through challenges. The church doesn't lead armies, it leads nations.

I don't have any thoughts on the middle eastern one, there's not enough to go on at the moment. What angle are you going for?

I was a orphan adopted by Lunestier groundskeeper. A teacher saw that I have strong innate magical skills. So I got accepted in the prestigious magical school.

Hopefully with my summoning magic and tactics I can basically become a general of my own magic army and I can use arcane magic to protect myself and support my army. After graduation my friends and I can go on quests to find treasures and lost knowledge and help protect peasants and kingdoms. After I become stronger, I can take over a old castle as base and start small Queendom of magical creatures summoned from the different planes. Then become a famous mercenary company and have my magic army help settle conflicts in exchange for extravagant gifts and titles.

Eventually have more titles than all those pompous spoiled students at school who wouldn't except me because I'm "poor" and "low class".

An orphan with a traumatic childhood yet an unbearably positive outlook on life, May seems to be suffering a delusion that she is the "protagonist." When asked what she is the "protagonist" of, she gets confused. Although she is somewhat dense, through what may be perhaps sheer luck she always seems to get into the most important and dangerous events, and always seems to walk out unscathed. It's almost like there's some sort of plot brewing, and she has a vague idea she's at the center.
Besides that, she is also known for having strangely-colored hair. Although students from other academies often point it out, nobody from St. Flares seems to ever notice.

Here's an idea instead of bookworrm granting you 2 class that you normally can take, how about allowing you to take one class four times instead of the normal 3? Because you're spend far more time studying for said class and developed an absolute mastery of the course material far beyond what it is required from you.

As for social butterfly I have an different idea, increase it to +3 or even +4 companions at the cost of only able of taking all classes at two levels.

Balance isn't about what you personally want, its to make sure all the options are equally relevant choices anon.

The problem here is mechanically don't offer you experience and skills like classes do, so classes have more intrinsic value then two companions. I don't understand how total percentage increases mean anything when you're looking strictly at utility and value.
