There's quite a lot of war strategy games that can be played solitaire. I remember seeing one submarine wargame that was purely solitaire. Was going to buy it as a Christmas present to my dad, but somebody had bought the only copy the next time I came to the store.

Just download Tabletop Simulator on Steam. It actually runs board games pretty well. I play a lot of heroquest and expanded versions of it, now.

Been GM, been the party and been the NPCs and the world?


I get that you wouldn't catch yourself out on any intriguing plot twists (unless you has some issues) or reveals but surely dice rolls factoring in would provide for some unpredictability and you can role the characters as per their personality and try to put yourself in there shoes.


Seems doing in my head, but, you can't enjoy it with anyone else.
