Well... we successfully diverted the course of the space hulk...

...with us inside of it. Now what?

FAQ:
>What the fuck is this?
Somewhat a campaign of crack-infused free-form roleplay in the grim darkness of the far future.

>When do you guys make these threads?
Usually mondays at 4PM GMT, but they sometimes extend to Tuesdays if we got caught in the middle of something when the thread died and it was too late to make another one the same day.

>Can I join in?
Sure, just think of a character and have fun, you can find most info in 1d4chan albeit it's ussually a little bit out of date in comparison to where the threads are.

>Is there any requirement in character creation.
Not really, we've had Xeno infiltrators, Chaos infiltrators, Villains, Heroes, Normal Guardsmen, Crazed Guardsmen, Assassins, Psykers, Space Marines, Inquisitors, Squats... just think whathever and join the fun.

>Is it allowed to have more than a single character?
Yes as long as you don't use it to powerplay.

>So how you guys do the playan'?
We tend to use spoilers for OOC chat, but nothing is set in stone.
We tend to use greentexts for describing a character's actions, but again nothing is set in stone.
Use d20s for combat checks and d100s for other things you want to roll, higher Is better.
It's important to know that the regiment is now in the employ of a radical Ordo Xenos Inquisitor, with influence from an Ordo Malleus Inquisitor and under the watch of an Ordo Hereticus Inquisitor. Yes we've been through a lot of shit.

>meanwhile

What's that sir? They've cleared a Space Hulk and you kept me here doing this groxshit?! You bastard! Alright alright calm your armored tits. I'll take care of this one last thing and then I'm going back. Better not try and stop me...

Had to go on an unforeseen road trip to Fayetteville yesterday. Heading home now, so I'll be back with yall in about 3 or 4 hours.
>>
>Meanwhile, at the same time in a Sector a couple of Segmentae away.....
>Alice is grabbing the last of her equipment prior to boarding the Cruiser headed for the Calixis Sector.
>She assumes the rest of her retinue and her associates on Praetoria are doing likewise.
>>
>>47644640
I'm impatient to meet this inquisitor again... I can't remember his face.

...

I never forget a face...
>>
>he's just mooching about and looking for the Eldar he heard talking earlier.
>>
>>47644640
I must say... That ship we found was very intriguing, and an important find for the Imperium. I believe we should Return to make further investigations at a later date.
>>
>>47644666
Well, you better get a good look at his face while it's intact. Because I'm gonna take a metal pipe or two to it.

>>47644684
Indeed, it will be fortunate if we can ask the Crew what happened. The logs can only tell us so much.....

>Alice appears to have chosen a Cadian 'disguise' for the the assignment, with weapons and equipment to match.

I would suggest both of you fetch some Cadian equipment. We don't want to let our quarry know that he's marked for death until we've got him in binders, eh?
>>
>>47644728
I agree. I'll be ready to go when you order, ma'am.

And...

...save some of his face for me, will you? He used me... I kind of want to make him pay for what he did to me.
>>
>>47644728
Certainly.
>goes look for the armoury

>>
>paces and looks over the drop troops
Alright men. Find the vehicle bay. Maybe we can nab some good tech. The Techpriests are with us in this.
>>
>>47644799
Larrs, any plan on how to get us back to our ship before...

>>47644554

We enter hell in reality?
>>
>>47644747
As long as we don't do any -permanent- damage it'll be fine. Now, you'd better go along and grab your gear as well.

>>47644765
Go straight at the next two junctions then it's the first left! Quartermaster'll let you have whatever! Uh......Make sure it's marked.....uh.....412th!
>>
>>47644808
Doubtful, sir. The orks have infested this place from left to right, they've tampered with most machinery.
>>
>>47644799
>You can only see the frozen planet you are drifting away form and distant stars
>You realize the voice is a psychic message

>>47644808

Jackson, again at it? You can't loot an orks' space hulk!
>>
>>47644830
412th, huh? Somebody's a fan of Lorn V's campaign it seems.

>>
>>47644875
Such a shame...

>>47644852
I have to agree with the chief here, sir.

We'd better just find a way back to the penance before we strand too far. Maybe there are some teleporters somewhere?
>>
>>47644837
Well, thanks to da lootin´, we´z got a lil´ sumfin´ no other orkz have!
>Pulls a small tube with a button on it out of a pocket
I made it meself. Considerin´ da new Kaptin doesn´t want to krump ya, you´ll need one.
>>
>>47644852
Honey. Orks love to loot, soooo they'll have good loot.Loot that the Techpriests want.
>>
>>47644837
I found this sir,
>hands him a perfectly good blender.
not sure if the techpriests will use it thou
>moves off to play to himself
>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1jg8jf9oTjw
>>
>>47644888
I know I'll regret to ask this but... what does it do?
>>
>>47644901
A blender...

...well if we get stranded we'll always be able to blend those who die of starvation.
>>
>>47644892
Don't "Honey" me, Jackson, you are supposed to come back on board as soon as the direction of the Hulk has been altered, no ifs or buts.
>>
>>47644902
It´z a lokalizzed tellyporta! Need to get ported? it will do that. It even knows if you are inside a wall and getz ya out of it! Also useful in fixing da more kommon problemz with da bigger tellyportaz. Like, tellyportin´ yiz insides on da outside.
>>
>>47644929
But Honey. I like calling you Honey.
When are the dropships coming to get us?
>>
>Is readjusting her helmet and is still uncharacteristically silent. Her legs seem to be a little off.
>>
>>47644949
As soon as you tell me everything is done. And not that I don't enjoy bullying the techpriests and bossing around the pilots, but you are taking your sweet time there, eh.
>>
>>47644947
hm...
>>47644567
Trooper Boer? Could you come over here a second?
>>
>>47644855
>Alice says nothing immediately, instead waiting for LIX to head off before muttering "There was nothing to like about that Campaign....."
>sighs and boards the 'Hawk taking them to the Cruiser.
>>
>>47644925
>Salutes Corporal
Corporal,, good to see you alive. Perimeter's secure. Or as secure as you can get on a greenskin infested hulk.
>>
>>47644994
>Also boards the hawk some time later.

>>47645010

I have a mission for you. Test this >>47644947

>With everyone on board the Thunderhawk takes off and is soon onboard the Cruiser.
>Said Cruiser also heads away from the Planet before entering the Warp. It has begun.
So.....you didn't actually tell the 'others' where our target Inquisitor is, right?

>A vessel loaded with troops and equipment also enters the Warp, headed for a different part of the Calixis Sector.
>>
>>47645042
Well thank you very much for the offer, a pity that I have half the staff Greely left me babysitting me all the time and pretending I don't take part in the actions because "a throne agent and future teller of your caliber shouldn't throw her life away so easily and must stay where she can be more useful to the Imperium". Bullshit.

>Crosses his arms.
It's bad I know about your origins and haven't killed you already but it's even worse you're just plain out showing them around!

>Does he know it's not actually Samantha in there?

This is a penal regiment with a bad uniform policy, lady, but still with an uniform policy!

For a Xeno infiltrator you're doing a very poor job! Even the Ork and the Eldar got the clothing right! And your armor is promoting the concept of us being alligned to some greater weeaboo goodness or however the Blueberries call it! I want you to ditch that heresy you're wearing and get some human-made clothing, is that understood?!

And fucks sake eat something with more vitamins your legs are so thin they look like a Leman Russ ran over them!

>Probably not.

"Interrogator! The hulk! They're heading.. no, that's not right. That would take them a long time but they'd end up right in the eye!"

"It's our only lead on Theta Gamma's location. I know this ship isn't in top shape, but we can intercept a thronedamn space hulk!"

>The captain rubs her scar nervously.

"Prepare to cross it's path, starboard side. Ready the working grapnel cannons, and have the astropath try and contact them. Hopefully someone on the hulk will hear us."
>>
>>47645126
Babe? Why don't you just order them to stop following you?

>>47645114
To the others? They may have overheard the subsector. But the world is still confidential to all but you. The Inquisitor is, after all, a heretic of Chaotic nature.
>>
>>47645216
Holy fking hell, I almost expected to ice Soap.
>Disappears in a reddish flash. Reappears in another part of the Space Hulk.
Cough...cough...I...I'm alive! Thank the God-Emperor.
>Hails on voxcom
This is Trooper "Soap" Boer hailing. Corporal, I think I made it. Not off the Hulk... But I think I've found us a way off this Hulk.
>>
>>47645290
Because they take orders from Greely. Fuck, if only that bastard shows up...
>>47645324
Trooper, do you hear me?
Going by the scans we have there should be a large bay not far off to your right. Can you get all the regiment there?

>>47645324
Excellent news trooper! Where are you at?!
>>
>>47645297

>Noises begin eminating from somewhere in a nearby weirdboy, possibly the spleen

"Bob? Do you know where the rest of Theta Gamma has gotten to?"

>>47645323
Thank the Emperor for small mercies. Well....the Navigator tells me that the Warp is almost worryingly calm, we should be arriving......now actually.
>And just like that, the Cruiser exits the Warp.
Alright, what's our heading Callidon? I'm eager to slap this traitor in irons.

>>47645324
Only Vostroyans named after Pre-Crusade Vostroyan Stub Pistols can kill Soap.

"rest of da boys are making there way to a hanger mate, I'm staying with da orkz thou, I got me own crew now"
>>
>>47645372
I could try to infiltate his hideout as one of them.

We could also use the regiment being this close as an advantadge, either as a distraction, assign them to attack some heretics here without telling them many details or either by using a cadian disguise and say we stranded off by accident.
>>
>>47645383
Emperor preserve me...

St. Astrid´s Fall. A frontier world, moon orbiting the gas giant Sekmet.

"No."

"Sir?"

"I said "no," Captain. He's taking his crew right into the Eye of Terror, as you noted earlier."

"Maybe there's something we don't know about along the way?"

"Then we'll deal with that if and when it happens. Hard pre-emption is best reserved for certainties."

>And with all their would-be loot consumed and or expended/killed the Valhallan men of mayhem decide it is time to figure out how to haul ass and go on better adventures because this place is boring and nobody is around
Location of Valhallans: Locate any living life forms, head in the exact opposite direction until there are no life forms in front of you, discover Valhallans

Simply put, they're definitely not around anyone

This is the Pwnance, Major Lawzom speaking. That you Greely?
>>
>>47650142
>Walking into the same direction, Sam cannot even muster a retort, like she usually did.

>>47650165
Doesn´react at first before speaking to the sergeant.
Got stolen, sergeant. All I know that the fire warrior used my gear to walk around the ship... While I was... dying in my quarters...
The last part is barely a whisper with Sam looking away from Malak.

>>47650168
Miranda... I´m not in the...
A heavy sigh.
You know what? It´s good to know that at least some people... are still capable of smiling...

>Speeds up her walk to the medbay, kicking her approaching tau drone out of the way.
>>
>>47650283
>slaps him
I am in command here!
>>
>>47650244
>The rest of the mirrors keep screaming
>>47650252
>Behind the only door in the room beside the one you entered there is a thick hatch made of lead
>>
>>47650294
O-of course. After all, you k-know what i was thinking? These Tau xenos are not so d-different from us. i mean... The taste is about t-the same.
I hope it wasn't a friend of yours!
>>
>>47650252
Right behind you, ma'am
>>
>>47650265

"Did you miss me?"

"Hold on, There's something on vox but we're not quite in range.."
>>
>>47650298
>Shoots those too.
>>
>>47650327
"Miss"? AH! More like you must have been useless without me around to do the dirty job!
>>
>>47650296
No you're not. And if you're gonna hit somebody, learn to hit harder. Or just don't since you have sticks for arms.
>>
>>47650298
>>47650322
>Alice tosses a couple of Krak Grenades at the hatch and peeks through the holes, if there even are any.
>>
>>47650370
What!? Who do you think is here in Verasii's steed, eh!?
>>
>>47650353
Behind each of the mirrors is a similiar mechanism, and one by one all of them are silenced
>>47650394
>The hatch is obliterated, and Auspex starts getting dozens of lifesigns from below
>>
>>47650401
*SIGH*
Oh, my apologies, little Inquisitress, feel free to take total charge of all operations here, by all means!

*lights lho, leans on wall, staring*
>>
>>47650429
>Reloads stalker bolter.
Now the pary starts...
>>
>>47650294
D-dying!?!
>He'd look visibly pissed at this
Trooper Samantha Hawthorn what in the actual Feth happened while the rest of us were on that hulk? And don't look away either!
>>
>>47650450
That's better.
Were you saying, Greely?
>>
>>47650363

"I still have the legal right to challenge anyone to the Rite of Rochambeau as a result of my "useless" activities without you and.. wait. ~You're~ in command? What happened to Alice and Jackson?"
>>
>>47650429
>>47650465
Well we found the target.....or his bodyguards....
>Alice cautiously enters the area through whatever way she can(Stairs, ladder, elevator, ect ect).
This.....could get messy.
>>
>>47650488
>Follows
I've got your back.
>>
>>47650488
>After going down the stairs, Alice finds another room
>There are three mirrors that are constantly vibrating with screams emanating from behind them
>The door is right next to the mirror on the left
>>
>>47650484
Jackson is doing his things in the medbay for most of the time, and Alice left because she didn't get along with him. So since I am the only one who acts instead of pouting like a child, I took the reins.
>>
>>47650484
I swear to the Throne...
>grabs another vox horn

Greely, Alice is apparently on the other side of the ssegmentum, and Jackson is nowhere to be seen. I'm trying to pull things together but miss thing here is on a power trip.
>>
>>47650317
No she wasn´t -
>Broken out of her depressed stupor Sam turns around to look at miranda, A mixture of shock, disgust and relief on her face.
Don´t tell... me... you... She was still... a... I... We served...
>Sam rushes off towards the medbay, trying not start puking in the hallway.

>>47650474
>Ponders the order for a moment before
Did you know about the tau that lived in the penances hull near the officers quarters? Maybe Lady Wellesley was the only one...

Well, they had an fire warrior there that didn´t really like what I was doing with the regiment, so... Most of the tau left the ship by now... One beat me... down... with my own pulserifle before...
>Sam sighs and says something about space hulk missions and torpedoes.
>>
>>47650527
More of this bullshit?!
>Shoots the mirrors
>>
>>47650576
Ah, so it was a s-she? Couldn't really tell...
I saved you an arm though! J-just in case you need someone t-to lend you an hand in dealing w-with the loss!
>>
>>47650592
>As you shoot the first mirror, It shatters revealing a now dead body of a man with nails embedded in his skull through his eyes
>He is now very dead with a bolter wound in his chest
>>
>>47650576
>Though still sore from the fighting aboard the hulk, he'd quickly chase after her fully intending to get to the bottom of this
Hey! Wait up!
>>
>>47650527
>>47650592
>>47650637
.........I.........uh....
>Alice pulls LIX through the door into the next room.....or tries at least.
>>
>>47650637
What?!
>Takes one step back.
>Then kicks another mirror.
>>
>>47650657
>Behind it is a woman whose arms and legs have been removed, hung up by a hook through her spine
>>
>>47650687
This is...
>Kicks the other mirror
>>
>>47650708
>Inside this window is a severed head attached to a life support system, circulating blood and working as replacement lungs
>>
>>47650708
>Amalek's face leers at her as the pane shatters
>>
>>47650605
I... eurgh...
>Starts to puke before reaching the medbay and narrowly misses >>47650653.

Searge...?
>Stands still and has probably added a new cleanind duty to her backlog.
Yes? I can... give an... report later...

Need to leave in around five minutes for bed so good nigth, everyone..
>>
>>47650738
>>47650740
This is as sick as with the Iron Warriors...

>She puts her hand over her forehead.

I will free you both from your pain.

Emperor have mercy of your souls.

>She aims her gun at their forhead and shoots a bullet for each.

Let's... continue.
>>
>>47650539
>>47650553

"And it sounds like you did a fine job of it, If Gary's comments are any indication. I leave for a brief period of time to prove I can do things Verasii's way - not like I had a choice - and everything falls apart. I'll get on a shuttle and head on over."
>>
>>47650751
We'll... talk about it later
>His voice sounds like that of an older brother concerned for a younger sibling
Just get some rest, alright?
night
>>
>>47650807
I kept this fuckign regiment together! Don't treat me like I can't to things! When you are here we will talk to Verasii and you'll see!
>>
>>47650807
I kept this fuckign regiment together! Don't treat me like I can't to things! When you are here we will talk to Verasii and you'll see!
>>47650826
>ignore pls
>>
>>47650793
>From behind the door, pained moaning can be heard now that the screaming has been silenced
>>
>>47650894
>Once again reloads her Stalker Bolter and walks towards the door in silence, opening it.
>>
so is someone going to make a new thread soon?
>>
>>47650847

"By all means, go run to a higher authority figure over an initial appraisal based on little more than first impressions. I'm sure she'll love that."
>>
>>47650930
Next monday, like always
>>
>>47650930
We only do 1 thread per day usually, sometimes another thread hits up on the same day even

but usually it's what >>47650994 said
>>
>>47650927
>Behind the door, another gruesome display awaits
>Two dozen people with various augmentations hang upside down, each moaning in pain, crying for help or silently hanging
>Some have been so much augmented they barely resemble a human at this point
>Those who still have skin that is not covered by metal have Chaotic markings burned and tattooed to them
>>
>>47650982
You fucking... I guess some people never grow up, eh?
I'll wait here for you, with the newly captured Amelia in a cage, wondering what YOU did all this time other than being a parasite to authority figures!
>>
>>47651010
Throne Almighty...
>Holsters her gun and inmediately runs to try to help the poor sods down
>>
>>47651026

>Leaves to board the shuttle

"That's a laugh coming from her of all people."
>>
>>47651010
>>47651043
What in the God Emperor's Name...
>Alice's weapon is gripped loose. It's possible she's actually horrified.
We....um......we'd better call this in......but....I'm not sure how many we can save....

I doth think that we should pause the adventures of fighting Severan for now and finish them monday Mechy Wech.
>>
>>47651043
>You pull down a couple of people before you notice a man with his legs missing being hung upside down by his waist
Please... Please.
>>
>>47651072
I concurr.

>>47651076
Hold on, I'm coming.
>Helps him down.
>>
>>47651092
>As you approach, the man weakly grabs your arm and pulls himself closer to you
Please...
>>
>>47651066
Hah! Right? I can't help but notice how people with the most mental problems tend to project their shit onto others.
>>
>>47651106
Don't move, I'll free you.
>Tries to do that.
>>
>>47651112
>>47651066
Look Greely, the ape-man agrees with you, you must be so proud.
>>
>>47651123
Scream for me.
>A monoblade tears the fake skin off the man´s mechanical arm as it pierces Delta´s hand
>It is merely a flesh wound, but that does not make the surprise any less agonizing
Now it is time for me to stop for today as well. Just wanted to give my last little surprise (although for anyone genre-savvy, this time it was guite obviously coming)
>>
>>47651112

"You have to be at least a little bent to do this job. Someone who's totally sane would break entirely."
>>
>>47651175
>Holds her scream.
>The events make her instinctively unsheath her phase blade and attack back.
>One second later, she backs off, horrified.

>Maybe he was an heretic.

>Maybe it was just a trap.

>Maybe it was a man who's mind got tortured so hard it broke.

>She will never know now.
I think it's a perfect spot for a cliffhanger
>>
>>47651183
Eh, there's bent, then there's twisted, and them there's scrambled...
>>
>>47651291
And then there's you. Down, down below, past the Miranda state of broken mind.
>>
>>47651291

"And then there's outright broken. Anna may be incredibly bratty and presumptuous - her rank was entirely probationary, I'm sure she's since forgotten. But she's among the best at what she does. Never, ever, tell her I said that though."

>Shuttle docks on the penance. Switches the vox off, and deplanes.

"Alright, time to figure out what's happened while I was gone."
>>
Thread almost ded and I'm heading out to diggy holes because it's almost 2 am. Don't aks, I'll be back nek week prolly
>>
>>47651368
>The Armsman is standing at the bottom of the Shuttle's ramp as it drops.
>He Salutes Greely.
>He also leans close to Greely and whispers.
Don't tell anyone -I- told you this Sir, I can't be bothered with the nagging, but you missed the AI taking over a ship. Not this ship. One that didn't belong to Jackson....it belonged to Miss Wellesley's Uncle, a Rogue Trader. They had to destroy it.
>>
>wiping down the bar, and smiling, Ron looks longingly across the hanger to his "office" (really just a broken down Valkyrie).
Won't be long now.
>a drunk, half-asleep guardsman makes an inquisitive grunt
A family friend is coming to visit. And Uncle Tags always brings presents.
>the guardsman loses his lunch onto the bar. Ron grabs his head in both hands, slams his face into the vomit-covered wood, then calmly starts cleaning again
Maybe he'll bring some kind of automatic idiot-disposing device with him.
>>
>>47651944

"Where ~is~ Jackson anyway? Supposedly Alice left because she got sick of his shit. And don't worry, I never sell out my sources."
>>
>>47652363
That is....an excellent question sir. I swear he was around earlier but.....I'm not sure, and that worries me given his uh....actions.
