I have a question about Overlord (the anime/light novel) and Civ.
If you have the Realm of myth perk from Civ which makes people you rule better and capable of legendary feats and you take over a part of the world that Overlord is on (just making yourself a kingdom or taking one as it were) Do the people you rule over suddenly start growing more powerful will it lead to more of them eventually gaining the effect of the Realm of Heroes perk and maybe even level 100 if you hung around long enough?

Alright, time to make some very difficult decision on which power source I want to use. I can't take all three, so which is best: Memories, Medals or Switches? It's going to be a hard choice. I kind of want to go Memories just because they'll be the easiest to mass produce and experiment on given my tech perks, but the Core Medals and Astro Switches just have so much style.

Starter: Carvanha (50, 1150) - A Shark for a Shark, how fitting.
Age: 17 (Rolled) - This has /got/ to be one of the weirder parts. At least I'm not a kid.

Abilities:
+ Combat Training (50, 1100) - I already knew a bit about taking care of myself, but I wouldn't turn down a few new tricks.
+ Blend In (150, 950) - A good shark knows when to simply slip back into the shadows.
+ Pokeglot (600, 350) - Never had a talent for languages before. This opens up all kinds of doors.

+ Headsets (100, 250)
+ Thrust Pack (100, 150) - Ship to ship fighting just got a whole lot easier.
+ Flak Jacket (100, 50) - Hard to say no to a vest that could save my life.
+ Collapsible Baton (50, 0) - Rather wish this was a sword, but passable for now.

Still here, yeah. Through I'm not entirely sure on Page of Time either...

There's the standard time travel necessary to actually do your time player job.

Aside from that, Pages are supposed to be really strong in their aspect, so I'm guessing a Page of Time would have loads of time to do stuff. Probably by speeding himself up really hard or doing an actual timestop?

There's also the entropy part of the Aspect, which might net you the ability to project a giant entropy aura where everything ages/wears away really fast.

It depends on what you want.
Cosmic Switches are pretty much mass from nothing and have a lot of versatility, being able to replicate most if not all technology or outdo it
Medals...aren't good for a techy jumper but if you're the kind of guy who loves the idea of powering up on human desire or is good at manipulating people, Medals are awesome. Just make sure to get something like the Medal collector, the Jug of cell medals or becoming a Greeed since it's hard to get the good stuff powered up without Cell Medals
Gaia Memories are definitely easier to work with for tech but unless you get your build a certain way it's gonna be hard to start making 'true' memories
Still, making the mass produced memories is possible and a lot of nice stuff keys off of them
So really its up to you to figure out waht's most important.

Ah, yeah, of course! As I mentioned, they're all T2 memories which means if you have a memory driver available you can use it to transform.

USing them as the Nega Wisp armor is actually how they're normally handled, everything he does with LAser, Cube, spike etc is similar to something you can pull off as that dopant or kamen rider

Think Cask from that one quest Wildbow ran, except instead of not-potions, you make banquets to buff your teammates way before you even fight.

Generic/Fast Production? Tinker.

You just make better versions of regular stuff. You can't mass produce them yet and normal people can't reverse engineer them either, but they're way easier to build and normal people can actually use (but not repair let alone make more of) them with instructions so you can outfit your entire team with low-level power armor with all sorts of neat tricks in them.

Enhancement Trump.

Like Contractor, except you build on powers people already have. Strong Brute can't do shit because Oops the Shard didn't give him durability worth a damn? Now you can change that! Supportive combat Thinker gets wrecked because he's a goddamn Thinker who can't even do Contessa/Harbinger/Uber shit even though fighting is the entire point of his power? Now his power works fast enough for him to actually punch good rather than just help his team through a cell phone while hoping no one notices he's there.

Take the Star Trek TOS jump, ask for the path to entering the correct Breach coordinates to put you safely on the bridge of the Enterprise of the alternate universe of the new movies five minutes before Kirk first boards it.

You may have to explain to Captain Pike what the hell you're doing on his bridge, but hey, I'm sure if you slip him a few pointers on the crap he's about go get into, he won't mind giving you a copy of the schematics, right?

Would be nice to be able to buy additional powers. Probably shouldn't be too expensive, either requiring a 200 CP perk to re-roll/purchase or just straight up buying them again off the table (400 CP). Of course, to make this work with canon Worm, you should add a required drawback, "Grab-bag Powers": Reduce the effectiveness of all powers. Works with canon and lets people grab multiple powers if they aren't interested in anything else (or if they want to take a bunch of drawbacks).

Powers would be reduced under the effect of the drawback, no reason a single shard couldn't cover multiple minor effects (aka grab-bag powers). Circus has enhanced aim, reflexes, minor pyrokinesis, and hammerspace. That's plenty varied. No reason you can't just have reduced powers come from a single shard. The shard becomes irrelevant post-jump anyways.

Also, there are grab-bag shards in canon. Miss Militia's is one, for instance.

We know, we'll give them some cheesy pseudo-philosophical speeches to read at him, further delaying him while we're busy administrating and stuff.

You know the superbosses in Final Fantasy, like Absolute Virtue? That's basically us. When Michael defeats Richard, the space station will collapse, revealing Mother wearing spider-shaped Iron Man armor-and us, riding it, ready to hand over power in the form of access codes to the rightful president. If he's cool, then the fight ends there and we bow out gracefully.

But if he continues to believe in his own justice, well-we can't and won't give our all for this fight, but you know what's easier to conceal than a giant robot?

As much as I understand the idea and why people might think it's a good idea, the fact of the matter is that despite all the BS entities are capable of there are tons of jumps out there where you can in theory manage to get some absolutely insane BS.

A place like Medaka Box that has powers that flatout break any idea of balance over their knee needs a limiter to make it jumpable.

In theory, even if it's difficult and requires all the right tools, investment, and effort, jumpers can do some truly insane things, and I don't want to lock things away just do to a Meta distaste for the idea of people eating an Entity for a power trip.

As for Jumpers being able to hit a point where they can stomp nearly any setting....well yeah. But eating an Entity is at a level of investment, effort, and sheer difficulty that ANY project that had that much investment into it would have insane results. Especially considering the toys jumpers can acquire.

Especially considering the nature of shards and entities already makes somehow getting their abilities a pain in the ass, since you basically have to hack/reverse engineer all these planetoid sized extra-dimensional alien biologies.

By that point, if a jumper can manage it, I'm gonna just say good for them and move on to more productive things.
