Hey, Jumpchain - if you could only use one Jump's powers and metaphysics for your entire Chain, which one would it be? Serious question - I'm considering doing a one power build, and I've been trying to brainstorm options.
>>
>>47352785
Probably Gurren Lagann. It just seems the most fun for the purpose of being an out of context problem.
>>
Hows Fire Emblem for a jump to d after PMD?
>>
>>47352785
Esper powers from raildex, and raildex metaphysics in general, because I just like it that much. They just have so much versatility and range of application.
>>
>>47352804
Which one, and for what purpose?
>>
>>47352825
>raildex
>one power jump
>surviving raildex without out-of-jump powers
He doesn't want you to kill him, anon!
>>
>>47352845
Regular fire emblem, mostly for the import and the fact that I've no clue how high the power level of the setting it.
>>
>>47352870
>implying raildex is actually dangerous
It's like touhou; if you can resist poking the sleeping bears, they won't bother you.

>>
>>47352870
You could run raildex as a starting jump reliably. It's a high powered setting with high utility powers ad metaphysics where you're not in particular danger unless you go around causing everyone problems, which is why everyone likes it so much for powergaming; it's relatively safe powergaming.
>>
>>47352894
>>47352932
Unless you take the plot device you can just sit back and let captain plot armor resolve all the dangerous shit.
>>
>>47352955
Does index jump have anything like a 'you aren't living your life correctly!' perk? If not, it's a serious missed opportunity.

I dunno, maybe Undertale? It's got an interesting kindof utility magic, can directly effect souls (which is great for fighting ghosts and stuff?), and the science seems able to delve into meta stuff at the upper end, which I always thought was pretty fascinating.

I was a monster, so I wouldn't really get a soul boost or anything, but it's a pretty unique metaphysics.
I think that'd be the thing to go for, something unique.
>>
>>47352932
Huh. The impression I got was that you were standing in the bullseye for a metaphorical flaming mountain. So as long as I'm not dumb enough to take Keikaku Keystone I'll probably be fine? Strongly considering it, thanks.

Any other thoughts? I like >>47352801 as an idea.
>>
>>47352875
There's a nasty war involving magic, but if humans can survive, so can freaky demons disguised as humans.
That said, there are comfier jumps to let your pocket monsters get used to being peoples.
>>
>>47352992
Nope. Gotta pick it up from Nanoha.

>>
>>47352785
Generic Sburb Jump, for the Alchemization and God Tiers, as well as the fact that it could be survived as a first jump pretty easily.
>>
>>47352955

>let captain plot armor resolve all the dangerous shit.

That's actually a valid strategy for a LOT of jumps. Hell, I realized I could Spark in SBURB if you played it well, depending on how much the Homestuck drawback forces you to be the one to deal with LE.
If you can use the canon method, it's not too bad. Just...uh. Don't be in the universe when the first few existence failures occur.
net navi status is a good way of surviving the initial hurdles, to be honest. Use trollian to jump timelines.
>>
Rolled 393 (1d582)

Don't mind me, I'm just rollin' around.
>>
>>47353009
There is someone with plot armor so thick it might as well be a physical force who is protecting academy city, so as long as you keep your nose out of the plot you should be safe.
>>
>>47353099

>Survived as a first jump
You realize that nobody in that comic except like three characters has avoided death at all, right?
It's pretty freakin' Dire.
>>
>>47353110
At the speed of sound?
>>
>>47353099
oh wait, for a regular session?
I'm derp.
...Yeah you can probably swing it if you're really careful about what you try to pull.
>>
>>47353128
And how many of those deaths were caused by Bec Noir, Lord English or related to them in some way, or Quest Bed deaths?
>>
>>47353042
Animu Power Girl looks pretty good, the rest of them are kinda garbage though.
>>
>>47353167
Gamzee and Vriska caused some carnage
As well as Terezi straight up egging John on to his first death
But since their issues were caused by Jack/Bec Noir denying them victory I'll grant you that. It's moot anyways if you're only doing a regular session, it seems kinda hazardous (seeing as even the trolls who had some handicaps in the form of psionics had someone die before even entering the game) but possible with CP purchases
>>
>>47353090

The risk will be lower, but still there. Tipheres has a fair number of kill-sats. You'll have to map out their orbits to figure out a viable launch window.

Almost certainly Changeling, great room to improve and fun powers. Others I considered but passed over include EVO (bit overly focused on one thing), Master of Magic (fun for making waves, bit unreliable due to required setup though), Evangelion (Angel form is quite nice and versatile, once more runs into over specialization though), and Blame!, because it has some very good sources of firepower and gives huge amounts of respawns with minimal drawbacks if you're only running Blame!. Changeling trumps them all due to aesthetics and the ability to pick up loads of Contracts over the course of a chain, allowing both versatility and requiring minimal setup. Would be ridiculously painful as a first jump though.

Out of curiosity, how useful is God-Tier compared to the other perks? I just looked and it's impossible for a new Companion to pick up Ectobiologist and God Tier, so you'd either have to be the group's Ectobiologist or have one of them forgo God Tier.

Well god tier express your classpects powers with more power and effectiveness, but you could learn to use them anyway, albeit with a lower cap. But I'm pretty sure you could import a companion as a god tier ectobiologist, unless I'm doing my math wrong. Also, if a session has nobody with the Ectobiologist Perk, someone will just derp their way through it.

Roll 5 random jumps, you have to take maximum available drawbacks for all of them.

Rolled 260 - 1.) Heroic Age
Rolled 45 - 2.) Banner Saga

Made some good progress on Kamen Rider Neo-Heisei, though I'm worried about including no less than at least 3 shows(albeit heavily on the Kamen Rider W and OOO side of things)
trying to figure out how to balance the companions I'm gonna try to offer is a bitch too, I've had too many lame companion options or ignored them so making something like the Indiana Jones or Resident Evil companions sounds fun for once.
Also, gotta rework the Inqusitive perkline so that it's not all lame and shit.
>>
>>47354318
I would honestly be interested in something like a world god only knows gauntlet, since it couldn't work as anything else.

Seduce a series of harlots from throughout your jumping career in a jumbled collage of a world made out of stereotypical visual novel settings, or something like that.

Alright, rate my JEEYNIUS plan to win the Fate/Extra grail war.

First, I'm gonna use actual regular sneaking skills coupled with VtM:B Obfuscate 5, Presence Concealment EX, Sphere Boundary A+++ and Vitrification A+++ to go all sneaky sneaky like and find whatever dingus I'm supposed to fight and wait until they decide to show off their Servant to everyone (or think they're alone and can talk normally). (There's actually going to be like a hundred people all at once in the school, right? I remember the game having like ten dudes at max even before people started dying.)

Then I'll hit them with Berserk Insanity and run like a motherfucker. If it works, and someone's forced to start fighting them, I'll run back in and put either Voice of Bedlam or Vision of Death on the poor sod. Hopefully someone (other than me) will die before the Moon Cell forces us all to disengage. Then, rinse, and repeat until people stop letting me do it. If the Servant actually ends up fighting their Master, fucking SCORE. But that's too good for someone with E rank Luck.

I am aware that many skills would allow a Servant to shrug off any of these effects, mind you. That's what random rolls are for. (Because fuck thinking up 128 Servants.)

As for the actual fights... well, there's a reason I'm bothering with this. The only companion I've got is a VtM:B ghoul turned Twilight vampire so even if they're much better off than most masters, I still would rather not worry about fighting normally. I don't really have any way of dealing with the power levels, unless I take the lame-o route and say I fought weaker Servants than the canon ones.

>>
>>47353598
Doing a quick wikidelve I'd guess something like massively enhanced senses (including the ability to perceive magic) that have the issue of significantly less ability to process the information provided, aptitude for magic, relatively generic demigod in domain stat boost that can be fueled by both destruction and creation (though they'll each focus on different priorities), healing, elemental bolt chucking, and fun with gaining the ability to cast an inverted version of any spells you know from in jump magic (and an intuition on how to do out of jump ones) at only minor additional cost assuming you've performed the normal version within the last few minutes (or you can cast the inverse first and cast the normal one for cheap within the same timeframe). Think stuff like turning a healing spell into a harm spell. Possibly also some madness stuff, like giving heavy urges for people to act entirely counter to their normal behavior. I admit I mostly just read a few wiki articles so there's probably some bits I'm over or underestimating as to how much of a role they play.

>>47354698
I'm planning on destroying the Warhammer 40K universe and starting over anew. The Imperium jump lets you count other 40K jumps as canon to that timeline, and thanks to Light of Terra I know the location of a device meant to collapse the Warp into the Materium to fuel the creation of a new cosmos. Granted, I expect it to take a long time to understand its mechanisms and gather power for it, but the jump lets you stay there for as long as you want. And since I've got a ton of anti-precog and "enemies underestimate you" perks, none of the major players will know to stop me. Short of a Tyranid Hive-fleet stumbling upon my work by accident, I should be able to pull it off.

More SMT titles too but people are working on some of those. Wish DSanon was around to check up on Digital Devil Sage part 2 though.

Overlord question here. Is La shib Niggurath a necromancy or a summoning spell? it pulls out dark young like a summon but it is fueled by ritual sacrifice and death like a necromancy spell.

I cant afford both summoning and necromancy and I really want to be Mr. Bones the 3rd here.

Repeating a question from yesterday for SMTAnon, but why is there such a enormous difference between a demon's offensive power and their defensive power? Especially looking at their stamina, which at 'normal human levels' for a 1000 cp race seems hilariously disproportionate to their other physical abilities. For being able to easily lift hundreds of thousands of tons, you'd also think that they'd at least have a corresponding durability to blunt force, but that supposedly also isn't the case.
>>
>>47354879
That's just one thing it could do. The purpose of it is to manipulate the energies of the Warp on a grand scale. Orikan wanted to use it to become a god. The C'Tan wanted to use it to seal the Warp away permanently. I plan on using it to travel back to the dawn of time and prevent the 40K universe from existing in the first place.
>>

Who knows. The MC that used it was, to the exclusion of almost everything else, a necromancer, but it might not be a part of any school of magic in particular.

You can swing a mutation table, I think. People who go chaos should know what they're in for.
Granted there's probably tables of FUNCTIONAL mutations but I think it shouldn't be hard to grab such a table or ideas for such a table from splatbooks for warhammer Roleplay.
Definitely looks like an ambitious project, if you get it good
I'd have a go there if even half of that ends up in the final jump.

Considering most Living Saints end up dying or are pretty much dead as a requirement, and you'd be flipping the bird to that? About the same as becoming a Daemon Prince... which is to say, an incredibly big fucking deal. But not everyone wants that and I don't want to force people down a road. Hence the other options.

Oh, I know I'm making a lot of assumptions. But the Warp does mess with time, and I've got billions of years to figure the thing out and improve on it, so I'm confident I'll get it done eventually. I may have to build my own custom Great Work on my own, should the Necron version be unsuitable for my plans. Possibly I'll have to fake time travel by doing the same thing Orikan planned on doing, destroying the universe to get godlike power which I then use to recreate a new one mimicking the original in its earliest state. However it works, I don't really care, I'll find a way eventually.

The Goal of All Life is Death is an ultra specific skill that basically only Momonga has because he has a special secret necromancer class only unlocked at level 95 after max leveling every other necromancer class in the fucking game, and I think you also need to know every single instant death spell in the game, but don't quote me on that. You won't have that ability unless you build almost exactly the same character.
>>
>>47355102

>>
>>47355136
Its an ability gained by maxing out necromancy and instant death spells while being a skeleton and not multiclassing into more practical spells. So being 100 and a skeleton could be close to the same required build if you spec into necromancy as well.

Actually let me grab the wiki for it.

• The Goal of All Life is Death: This special skill is one of Ainz's most powerful abilities and comes from the Eclipse class, which is one of the hardest classes to get because it requires the overlord class with spells specialized in necromancy and instant death type magics. The Eclipse class lets the user become a true lord of death, a life consuming Eclipse. This spell delays other instant death type spells for 12 seconds, but allows them to ignore any types of resistance - even invalid. Ainz used this spell with '(Widen) Cry of the Banshee', and it killed everything in 200m. The cooldown of this spell is 100 hours duration. It is not possible to resist this spell, with the only counter being that one must use a either an item or skill that would cause them to be revived before the 12 seconds pass.
>>
>>47355160
Uh, anon, Orikan's dead at the point I'm doing this. I'm not doing this in the Light of Terra jump, I'm doing this in the Imperium jump using the The Grim Darkness of the Present drawback to maintain continuity with Light of Terra and the Dark Millenium drawback to stay in the jump for as long as I need to. That means I'm not dealing with either the no-perks of a Deadlight Intact LoT run or the increased difficulty of a Deadlight Broken LoT run. Just me, as a late-game jumper (I'm not expecting this to be easy, I'll gear up first), with as much time as I need to apply all my super-science perks to building a device to end the universe.

>>
>>47355123
Yes, because no Jump has ever given you the option to not be the main focus of the Jump if you don't feel like it. How dare she make the Jump accessible to those who don't like Chaos, which is a substantial part of the thread from what I can tell. Clearly your opinion is all that matters, and a dark curse should be put upon her household for a hundred generations, or until the dark gods from beyond reality have grasped the last screaming soul of her damned kin to turn them into the ink which they will use to write a Jump which fits your exact specifications.
>>
>>47355251

>If he has enough science perks, you can probably trust him if he says he'll find a way.
>He can't articulate how because he's not able to, but his jumper can, maybe.

>maybe

I don't particularly care what you read into my intent, but I was simply expressing my opinion on the viability of anon's plan-namely, skepticism. Especially given the scarcity of items and abilities capable of destroying and recreating a universe.

But "maybe"and "probably" is not a valid dismissal of points.
>>
>>47355309
...why?
>>
>>47355103
Ah. Well, you might call bull on it as game mechanics (for both this and the durability thing), and I really wouldn't be able to contest that, but the fact that both demons and humans don't really seem to tire. While there's a lot of fighting and lugging around military stuff on the human side, it's still stuff real soldiers could've done. In terms of exertion, I mean, I don't think they could've the actual demon fighting.

What I'm getting at here, is that for demons to have abnormal stamina, then humans would also need that quality in order to maintain internal logic, and that's a much bigger jump than demons not having supernatural endurance in addition to their other abilities.

As for their durability, if there wasn't such a big split, then a M134 Minigun being a worthwhile late-game weapon wouldn't make any sense.

Check the version on the drive, it's there. As for why I want to destroy it, it's mostly because this is my best opportunity to shape a universe. Dark Millenium could let you stay for billions if not trillions of years, it's my best chance to have all the time I'd need to make the universe I want. I could do that without destroying the 40K universe first, but then I'd have all sorts of remnants of that terrible place hanging around my new cosmos. I mean, maybe I don't have to destroy that universe, I suppose I could find some way to use similar tech to seal off a large region of space from the Grim Darkness of the 40th Millenium (the Great Work was originally designed to seal off the Warp, after all), but what if the seals fail? It's just safer this way, and I really don't care enough about the inhabitants of the 40K universe to feel bad for their deaths/never-existing.

•Focus (350cp) -> World is going in slow motion! Great for lining up headshots with Overload Bursts!
•Autocharge (50cp) -> You never know when the next blackout will occur, or when I get lazy and not want to recharge.

Damn. Do you have to whine about this every thread? No matter. Consider this:

He did say "normal human levels" of stamina, yes. RELATIVE to their physical abilities. A fast demon could for eample outpace cars with what amounts to a casual walk for it. And it tires them like a casual walk would. A giant can swing around a train like a less-wellmade whip. And be tired as if it's just using a whip. Throwing around dozens of tons is a breeze to them.

They keep up doing blatantly superhuman shit without getting tired, they just can't keep up their full power more than a fit human could keep up doing their absolute best. Hell, the 1000cp Herald uses the tiniest sliver of their power to make a superhumanly strong Angel, using that tiniest sliver to do superhuman shit would be child's play to keep up for a looooong time.

That's pretty insane super-stamina.

That's never going to work. Even telling people to stop feeding him still draws attention to him.

Nothing anyone can do, short of ignoring his posts entirely, can ever be NOT feeding him, and if everyone ignores him, he gets to claim he "wins" the argument.

The only possible way for us to win this is if he gets banned, which isn't happening.

His anger allowed him to survive. How else do you explain Darth Vader? He was crispy, his lungs and internal organs were basically charcoal. Yet he survived long enough to be "rescued" by Palpatine.

Maul was same way, but he went insane. He even crafted spider legs out of junk. He snapped back to reality thanks to Anakin & Ashoka.

Then they retconned his origins from being an Zabrak to being a Zabrak-Human Hybrid, same species as Ventress & Night Sisters. Males look like Zabrak and females look like Ventress.

Ventress & Maul belong to the same species. You know the Witches of Dorthmir the Nightsisters? Their species is a Human-Zabrak hybrid that had help from Sith Magic.

The Sisters live in the swamp, and the Brothers live in the mountains. Sisters all look like Ventress and Brothers all look like Maul. Brothers are treated as breeding stock and for warriors. Not that Nightsisters are pushovers. However every single one of them are Force Sensitive.

I combined tech-to-magic perks, cloning tech, and time magic. To create a spell that allows me to create perfect genetic clones with a wave of my hand. Now I just need to perfect the telepathy to give them the original's memories too.

Using vibranium and the other elements necessary to create Adamantium combined with SCP-170 and a lot of shoving metals into eachother, some of my tech (the stuff that doesn't care about weight) is now using Hyperdense Adamantium for armor. It's already almost indestructable in its base form, why not increase its density to physics-breaking Endbringer levels? Guardians of Ga'Hoole helped me put lesser examples of this in practise with tech that does care about weight to some extent. Need to find more jumps that allow me to do that...

Staying with the metals theme, I've used the energy of Cosmic Fire and the heart of a Supernova to forge a God-Spear. It's very shiny and burninating, and I import it everywhere now.

And my capital ship is an artificial planet on its own, literally the same size as the planet Mercury before accounting for space-warping. It's a ridiculous example of jumpertech, the crown on top of around 500 jumps focused pretty heavily on tech. http://pastebin.com/chYUacgR

As for incredibly useful stuff I don't bring up... It's kinda boring, but Pearls of Power in D&D allow you to retain a spell you've cast once per day. I just started duplicating them with Minecraft Cheatmode, taping them together, and duplicating again, until I eventually shrink the result, and then toss it into my Charm Pouch from Secrets of Evermore. I can now cast tens of thousands of D&D spells every day, without giving a shit. I call it the Pile of Power.

The same reason people get angry about anything, anon. As cheesy and kids'-show as this is about to sound?

It's because they care.

They care about the outcome of the Jumps that get made and posted. They care about their own ideas of quality (which is why some immediately reject anything from jumpmakers they don't like). They care about whether or not the thread is bogged down by personal vendettas.

They care, so they speak up. They are angry because they feel they have been wronged. They are angry because, no matter which side they are on, they feel an injustice has been done, and they will not stand for it any more.

They're all fighting back, the only way they know how.

Khorne is pleased.

You want to get really scary, go for Iterative Improvement. Because that doesn't just improve over time, the power itself is about improving things over time. >>
>>47355326
To be honest, your logic doesn't make sense at all. Late game demons are apparently casually supersonic, so a Minigun shouldn't be a threat either way. And we have no idea how long a fight between demons and humans actually lasts, so assuming that humans being able to fight against demons suggests they comaparable stamina doesn't work either. Given that humans can level up their stats to be able to hurt demons and endure their attacks, it seems more logical to assume that demons are superhuman in every aspect, and that humans simply have the spiritual power necessary to fight and hurt them anyways. That would also explain why humans don't get instantly ripped to shreds by something moving and reacting 1000 times faster than them and why humans can endure their attacks, while also taking into account the mechanics of the game, which is really the only way to estimate the relative physical abilities of demons in the first place.
>>
>>47357770
No no, anon, what he mean is that there is literally a minigun weapon that's a late game gun that works effectively, and is in fact just below the Rail Gun, Megido Fire, and Peace Maker, the end game weapons for every alignment, in terms of sheer demon killing
>>

>>
>>47357757
Huh, I completely missed that. Thanks for calling it to attention. It looks like it's only mentioned once without explanation of what it is, so I guess I can forgive myself. Still, if that can be adapted to work with my own metals, without loss of strength, it would be very interesting.

Time for EXPERIMENTS!

>>47357760
Right, thanks. I'm afraid just halving or even quartering the weight won't really cut it, but it's a pretty damn good step forward. Only thing that concerns me the reference to shaping a dagger into a needle, that doesn't sound workable for solid armor.
>>
>>47357881
Not that anon, but well, there is the Paint Magic perk from the Generic Children's Television jump, but you'd have to buff it immensely. I'd recommend grabbing a ton of magic perks, and the Magic Caster capstone from Overlord, which allows you to overcharge your spells. You'd also need the Maker perk tree from Darksiders, and to be honest, even then you'd probably need a spark.
>>47357921
Bancho, that only creates portals.

>>
>>47357980
Each pod can hold one person. You can switch them out, but the old person won't be coming along afterwards.

>>
>>47357929

>>
>>47357980
Keep the same person in one pod. You can switch them for someone else later, but then you lose the original pod person. Importing does not let them lose the pod person status either.
>>
>>47357945
>>Warp Paintings (600 points): Painting a picture will create a pocket dimension that will include whatever is depicted in the painting. By leaping through the painting, you will enter or exit the pocket dimension. There are, however, some limitations to this ability. For instance, the pocket dimension is, at maximum, 5 km2.. You will also have no control over what fills the dimension outside of the painting. You can use the dimension to store items, but you will have to make sure that no pests like Goombas spawn and damage your stuff. No living beings that are created in the warp dimension can leave. The perk does not come with actual painting skills. Get practicing!

The drop in origin for Inuyasha says that you fell through the well to get to the feudal era, does that mean you could travel to the modern age and spend the jump there? It seems like it could be fun to hunt the various demons that show up there after coming through the well, in addition to the obvious benefit of running water.
>>
>>47358265
No. They're created by Jump-Chan fiat and cannot be remade.
>>
>>47358265
No. You can replicate the Blue Feathers from Harvest Moon if that's your thing, but no replicating Pods
>>
>>47358265
Sadly, no. They're these sort of jump constructs, so they can't be affected by perks. Also, I believe they're actually larger than Cheat Mode can duplicate.
>>
>>47358284
You can definitely go to the modern time period, but beware the history distortions caused by Kagome and co. while there. Also, you might need sacred jewel shards in order to use the well, which would mean that protagonists can't collect them all in order to destroy the damned thing properly.
>>
>>47358369
What I mean is:
>would the drop-in origin allow you to use the well with out a jewel shard since it states that you came from the well just like Kagome?
>>
>>47357552
Yeah, Wildbow even mentioned his spear got a psuedo sting effect, but it wasnt "as universal".

Imagine simply charging a suit of somesort, small enough that it could either be duplicated via minecraft or biological enough that it can duplicate itself. Giving "Tattletale" scanners, with a super infinite multitasking processor. This shit gets crazy.
>>
>>47358265

The well could have only been active because of proximity to other jewel shards when you arrived. It seems pretty likely the well could be fueled by other sources of spiritual power anyway so having something like that would conceivably allow you able to use it freely. Drop-In origin on it's own wouldn't let you continue using the well.

>>

What do you have against Trogdar anyway, he dindu nothin.

Yes, stabbing him in the chest. You know with complete accuracy that this is the step to kill him. Sadly, that's how it works. It just tells you what common sense does.
>>
>>47358173
You know, I should probably answer this considering how many times it's been asked...

Fuck it, thread's in autosage, on the last page - I'll get CRUCIFIED either way looking at the trend.

Xel'naga Quest - I'm sending you on a god damn trip through the Starcraft timeline where you need to fulfill a set of objectives while at each point in time, and drawing your own conclusions on whether or not the Xel'naga's cycle had any merit. Xel'naga form customization, to avoid looking like a tentacled manatee, shit like that.

Pretty pathetic how you're wilfully ignoring my main point like a petulant child, namely that you can use it to instantly find the steps to things more complex than stabbing Trogdar. But that's all that matters to you, huh?

Stay asshurt. I took the PtV and regret nothing.
>>
>>47358868
Goal: Kill Trogdor.
Step 1: go to airport.
Step 2: get a ticket to X and fly there.
Step 3: catch a cab to 1234 Trogdor Street.
Step 4: knock on door and stab him when he opens it.

Seems useful to me.
>>
>>47357900
Honestly? Just make it so that most Demons have even stats across the board unless the race in question is overly specialized in certain categories. If they can punch with the force of a nuke, they should generally be able to survive one as well.

Yes but you could get similar step by step plans for things far more complicated, world domination is also a valid thing to ask PtV for a path towards.

I know, I was saying that it does help more than just telling you to stab him, it can help get to him to stab him, you could have "path to getting Trogdor's nemesis, Rodgort to stab Trogdor in the chest" or any number of other things. Using it for simple tasks will get simple answers.
>>
>>47359119
Step 1: out yourself as a Jumper
Step 2: murderize world leaders (preferably by stabbing them in the chest)
Step 3: blackjack and hookers.

SHIN MEGAMI TENSEI 1
The girl that was killed in the park… - +100Very annoying
Two Steps From Hell +200 CP Actually with my build this is kind of useful
Sick Little Puppy - +200 Insult me all you want I'm still saving you
Seven Hells Battle +300 Oh hey Dante, what's with the gun? Oh Wrong Dante here, meet Dante who I've imported several places.
World of Chaos – (Cannot be taken with “World of Law” or “The End”) +600 As if I didn't have enough reason to fight these bastards
Demon free To beef up
Automatically Arrive in mysterious laboratory,Sendagaya No idea what happened here
Mimic (Free to Demons) This seems evil
Kugutsu Magic (Free to Demons Minions Are always good
Protection of the Count -100 discounted for demons Handy
Demonic Union – 200 Special snowflake is always my jam
Theme Music – Free Speaking of jams
Dormant Power – 500 Limiter removal is awesome
Giant –-300 Discounted for demonic union Bigger than big stronger than strong, ready to fight for right against wrong
Turdak – Free with demonic union I have no you want to says but instant death immunity is wonderful
Herald – 1000 And now I have the power to actually clear out these demons
MagnetiteX2-100 And maintain myself
The Overlord’s Seat –-200 discounted for demons This growth rate combined with these drawbacks will enable me to actually survive
The plan: Kill demons, that's it I'm going to start at the bottom and wipe out demons until I can face What were once protagonists, I do not believe I can make it in these 10 years but I'm going to Roll to see how well I do
Roll(1d100)+0: Total:29 So once again quite well the dice are with me today and I managed to make things pretty decent going from Ghostbusters Apocalypse to regular SMT levels Of demonic activity through genocide

The Not-Kaiju seek out anyone who might make a positive difference, there's a group of nine super-powered grimdark as fuck serial killers wandering around, and if you don't kill their leader Gold Plutonian destroys almost all life on Earth, and you get brain-hijacked and probably killed in an effort to fight back. >>
>>47359429
How difficult would it be to deal with him as an early chain jumper with minimal firepower?
>>
>>47359392
Well, having some more fortune energy to use would help, but he doesn't need it. Mostly he needs to make the main character fall into despair to loosen her soul's hold on her current identity, then kill her so he can extract her soul and use it to resurrect her previous incarnation. He does have a mad-on for Fortune Gods for killing her in the first place, though, so he might go after you just for kicks if you're one of those. Otherwise, don't try to stop him from killing Ichiko and he won't have a problem with you.
>>
>>47359458
You are though.

>>
>>47359464
I love how you're pretending the anon who kept nagging and nagging did absolutely nothing wrong and is completely blameless. >>
>>47359307
Ikari's waifu was reincarnated as the MC so he wants to murder a whole town to make it private, then murder the girl to bring his waifu back. He'll also murder any god he even thinks could interfere with his plans. He also hates the gods.

Which means he'll kill you if he thinks you could mess with him, and he's more kekaiku than Aizen. So Red pretty much made a trap jump.

>Stab him in the chest. You'll need the blade to go at least 3 inches past the sternum.
>He's got a nasty right hook, and feint with the left before delivering a haymaker.
>He's gonna try to throw sand in your eyes. Don't let him.

>>
>>47359434
Doable depending on whether you're ramping up or already hit high-power settings before. Since you have Dante, I'm assuming the latter.

If you were rolling under, then you should've survived.
>>
>>47359561
Anon, you're not making any sense. Why would Trogdor live somewhere with security cameras? That's just silly.
>>
>>47359561
>>47359592
I think we need to ask the really important question here: Who's Trogdor and what did he do to deserve this?
>>
>>47359561
Maybe?
It take it pretty literally when it says that it's basically 'like playing a video game with a detailed set of objectives and a perfect strategy guide'.
>>
>>47359561
Well since PtV's path varies depending on your desiers and personality it could provide any number of methods to find him, the step that says go here might be his address, a location he will be at by the time you reach it, or the location of information about him depending on your intent and desires.
>>
>>47359575
I do roll under, and I'm glad my plan is something that would've worked. Would this prepare me for high-power drawbacks in other jumps in this multi-verse?
>>
>>47359559

>>
>>47359651

>>
>>47359554
Anon whining about shit or talking bullcrap about how he doesn't think a jumps made right is something both petty and altogether irreverent that comes with the territory of being a jump author due to the fact that once you make a jump, it's yours. You have control over it, you have the authority to alter it, nobody else can make another in the same setting.

Your vindication is so excessive and unjustified, and general attitude so vitriolic, I didn't even notice that anon making a fuss until I saw you throwing a shitfit over him, and he could have gone completely unnoticed if you'd had the fucking wherewithal to keep our mouth shut.
>>
>>47359619

You're missing the point. For once in your life put yourself in the position of someone making a jump who has to constantly deal with people begging you to give them more strength, more endurance, more EVERYTHING at the cost of just having fun with the jump. You want to stop people leaving forever? Seems like you're in the minority because people like him make this place utterly unrewarding.

>I didn't even notice

Besides what the jump says? Magic flying little girls shooting each other to death. The Church may or may not be evil. Also, the world is basically split between humans that obey the Church and deviants that are either vampires, those who are descended from vampires but do not manifest their power or sympathizers who don't want to kill vampires on principle. There is a tenuous peace but skirmishes still occur as you might guess by the intro, mostly between deviants crazy enough to want to bring the Fallen Angels back and normal humanity, but unless you go full realpolitik it is very likely that the one Cardinal who doesn't want to kill everyone who isn't a full human will be assassinated and global genocide will start in like a year.

This one was shit.

Anti-red, that much is obvious. People shitting over meaningless discussions about a chaos focused 40k jump, which lead fucking nowhere because all anybody would agree about was that Anti-red a shit. The whining, well, I wasn't on your side of that argument, but it was mostly just two guys yelling at each other about who's worse, the one complaining for their own petty reasons, or the one complaining about the complaining. >>47360271
You act like that's a bad thing.
>>
>>47360282
Actually it is my plan, I have a truly horrific number of charisma perks.
>>
>>47360250
You can save the misaka network all on your own if you play your cards right.

Have any of you thought of a 'game plan' for when you enter a setting on exactly how you'll go about fixing everything for every character that isn't shit?
>>
>>47360250
>spreads its feelings

Wait, does that mean you'd fall for Accelerator?

If so, I did not think this through.
>>
>>47360251
I was hoping for something associated with faith and purity rather than a filthy pagan's stmsmrny.

>>47360264
I might be misremembering it in a bad light then, I vaguely remember some bad arguments but not as bad as tonight.

What galls me about the guy I was arguing with was he didn't even bother to check if there was a reason I was mad at the other anon, and just went straight for white knighting his right to annoy people.
>>
>>47360310
Yes, if you connect to it.
>>
>>47360313
*armaments

Wow, one key off makes a world of difference between english and gibberish.
>>
>>47360310
Yuriko-verse has Accelerator replaced by a female version who is into you.
>>
>>47360313
>implying pagans didn't have real faith
>implying pagans didn't put value in purity
>>
>>47360336
Yuriko-verse is a joke option anon, you can't take it

>>47360345
>>47360345
>Zeus
>ZEUS
>pure
>>
>>47360336
Yuri will conquer the universe.
>>
>>47360360
>>47360351
>>
>>47360313
Hmm, SMT's Herald can create shards of holy metal. Does that work?
>>
>>47360351
You've got a point on Zeus specifically.

Ra's an alright guy, though, and you should totally do things by his power.
>>
>>47360369
Reploid also said he didn't care if people wanted to really take it.
>>
>>47360351
The jump says different,
>Cancelled out segments are cancelled, but if you really want them. . .
>>
>>47360351
Zeus is pure though.

Purely a cockmonger.
>>
>>47360309
yep
>>
>>47360313
That anon here.

It was pretty clear you had something you were annoyed over, but just because you were annoyed by it and were justified in being so, doesn't mean other people agree or find you any less annoying than the other guy. I understood you had motives, I just don't agree with them, nor do I care as long as we aren't yelling at each other, it's mentally tiring.
>>
>>47360370
Sure although IIRC it was more for making other angels/giving ghosts a vessel and I'm looking for other options

>>47360378
Agreed.

>>47360385
>>47360391
Well that's news to me. Never heard of anyone actually taking it but oh well
>>
>>47360351
I'll do what I need to in order to make it real anon.
Hey /jc/, how would I do that?
>>
>>47360415
Well-oh! What about Van Hellsing? I seem to remember there being blueprints for holy weapons there?
>>
>>47360406
Not even that though, he gave birth that one time remember?

>>47360414
First off, fuck yourself for being the cancer killing jumpchain.

Secondly, I find your pigheaded insistence on refusing to acknowledge the crux of the issue vis a vis defending behavior that drives away jumpmaker to focus on your arbitrary white knighting to be the most annoying thing to deal with.

Thirdly, I have no interest in continuing this conversation with you now it's been made clear you simply don't give a shit about what I give a shit about.

>>47360446
Also, that works, thanks

>>47360442
Nah, apparently I was wrong about that part. Godspeed anon.
>>
>>47360360
Viva la Yuri!
>>
>>47360415
No one takes it because it kills your ability to meta-game in fucking Index, where the power levels are conceptual and you cannot hope to compete.
>>
>>47360442
If you're scum, there's a perk in unholy heights...
>>
>>47360480
WE DO NOT SPEAK OF THAT JUMP!
>>
>>47360472
>>47360360
Also I find it amusing that you could conquer the universe with regular accel but apparently he's not cute enough to merit being a husbando

>>47360480
Pls no, there's already an option in the jump, forget that frightful thing

>>47360476
Well good thing I don't give two shits about competing or powerlevels then, I for one support the individual liberty to waifuing female Accel.

Is there anyone working on a One Way Heroics Jump? I'm considering making a jump for it.
>>
>>47360472
>yuri detected
Who summons me, the Yuri Queen.
>>
>>47360505
No, we do. There's nothing wrong with it outside of 2 dubiously canonical perks, which dozens of jumps have that problem or much worse.

>>47360508
It's not frightful, don't pay attention to people's retarded salt about it.
>>
>>47360530
I wish /u/ would stop circlejerking. You guys are really annoying, loud, and keep pushing your fetishes.
>>
>I'm never happy.
>I hate parties.
>I will spew vitriol for hours, and see nothing wrong with that.

I have his name!
Partypooper-anon!

Oh no, I know about it and how the 2 dubiously canonical ones are the main concern. I wouldn't have called it frightful if it wasn't brought up in the specific context of one of those perks.

>>47360542
I've never been to /u/, whatcha talking about? You're kinda making them sound like /d/
>>
>>47360442
>>47360480
Unholy Heights is shit, if you really want that power you can make your own better version with a Rainmaker power in PS238
>>
>>47360542
I've never actually been to /u/ besides a cursory glance through once. It seemed to be endless images.
>>
>>47360565
They're basically men who are attracted to lesbians and circlejerk about how everyone is a lesbian and how much they like lesbians and how much better it is and how everything should be lesbians. They do this on their own board and every other board they visit.
>>
>>47360542
Meh, I just like girls.
Imma keep doing, too.
