To answer your question though, OP, I'm rather partial to Savage Worlds. They have a supplement designed for building your own Sci-Fi system and it's pretty good. It's got stats for everything from robots to power armor to lightsabers. And plenty of tools to come up with your own ships, aliens, and vehicles. It even sorts stuff into tech levels so you can easily weed out what isn't appropriate for your setting.

The only thing it doesn't really have is materials for psionics or other Not!Jedi powers.

Dark Matter is great and certainly not under fucking Enterprise.

Not that anon, but I've seen that img on /tv/ farther back than on here. It was appropriately a baity thread, so there were a lot of people, at least from just that, that could've saved that pic.
