Putting a few extra pixels on the maps.
Most of our reserves have been demobilised. These are able-bodied men who were working in farms, mines and factories before being called into action. Women and children made up for part of the lost productivity in their absence. Now that the war's over the men are back in their homes. Though many have been scarred and are struggling with shellshock, their lives go on. The government has provided grants and subsidies for the recovery of the agricultural sector. Traditional political movements in our nation have been the conservatives(traditionalists, proponents of a mixed economy) and liberals(prizing free thought and free enterprise). There've been socialist movements, but their links to enemies of the state have prevented a serious socialist party from gaining popularity.
In recent years we've seen a restructuring of political parties in Parliament.
Liberals have generally split into more socially minded and more market minded.
Conservatives have split into cultural, urban and rural.
The rurals have consolidated the support of most people who live outside the major cities. Having won the 1166 Upper Election(Council and Chancellor) the new government has pushed for fiscal reforms and better agricultural development.

I don't think so, we don't need more people in the cities as is, our population growth will likely not force such a rural exodus that our cities will need to have people be cramped in small and tight living spaces, we don't need to build such spaces for our citizen, our empire is large, we have a great amount of resources and transportation is not an issue for our citizens, also building underground instead of over ground would likely be more impressive and defensible.

I started writing a new paste with lore on the various regions, but I'm lazy so I'll just use real-life analogues.
The Northlands in Aymsland are scandinavians, Corelands and most of the temperate regions are various shades of germanic. A more mediterenean culture in the southwest of Aymsland given the climate and terrain. The east is mostly rural so a combination of slavlands. Northern Eyerdar is midwestern american, Southern Eyerdar is dixie/texan american, Veita is australian and Ocras is coastal american. In culture and accent, all of these, for the most part.

Advances have been made further into physics. The first television has been invented and the NSA has created a branch that performs research into ballistics and another one for mechanical processing machines(tabulators).

Both private and government-owned pharmaceutical companies have seen great expansion across our nation. New medicines such as penicilin are being introduced as well as various other medicinal products and drugs, better narcotics etc. New synthetic fibers have also been invented, a notable one being nylon, a viable replacement for silk.
Industries employ better technologies, while architects build more comfortable, larger and cheaper buildings. The Kaichou and Chinks, having less space to spare in their homeland territories, have built the first skyscrapers. Some of these high, space-efficient buildings are being constructed in some of our bigger cities like Victory(which has a large chink population), but in most of our country people have plenty of space to build.

We're very ahead in Electrical and chemical tech right now. The Kaichou are making better cars nowadays and despite the tariffs we have many of our cities are being flooded by mass-produced cars from the chinks and kaichou. Also I'm watching National geographic right now guys and I'm not sure about how's the channel is working international but there's a dope documentary on the Japanese vs American navy.
Here's what i learned from it:

So essentially since our navy is mostly small nimble ships we could use this tactic then finish em off with bombers.
Therefore we'd only need aircraft carriers and small boats with torpedoes.

As fate would have it, it was also to be the airship's last voyage. The cause has not yet been determined, but thousands of viewers watched in horror as the airship, a product of joint work between our nations, burst into flames and was destroyed while trying to land near Kotoima. A horrible day indeed! Production of airships will almost surely drop by a lot in the future.
