I am personally a fan of the 'modest' seductress. Someone who knows shes a 10/10 but doesnt flaunt extravagantly it because its what clever adventurers expect and will start out by being on edge with her, attracted or otherwise.

Instead she plays the long game, tailoring her personality and what she has to offer to the adventure, seducing them with power, money, fame, or even just her body if that is really all they want.

One quickie will have them in the moment, a dedicated relationship will have them around her finger.

I doubt that it's because people want a bland face but rather because there just aren't really all that many artworks that would classify as seductress while still being safe for work.
You could also argue that because an image has a bland face, every person subconsciously "fills it up" to be the face worthy of the character it is trying to emulate.
