So is the noosphere in 40k basically Wi-Fi?

Would not interface with.

>implying it's not synthetic, superior materials meant to mimic the glorious human form

>wanting to look like a fleshbag
Literally, why?
>>46793940
More like internet raised to eleven and interfaced directly via implants into your body.
With said modifications one is able to see the Noosphere as if it was physical existing.
Working with it instead of looking at it is practically impossible without a modified brain, though. Just too much data.

Someone has to talk to the fleshbags and convince them to follow the correct path using fleshbag emotional appeals instead of pure and holy logic. And fleshbags are arrogant, anthropocentric, and sentimental, and therefore respond better emotionally towards those who resemble them. It's a filthy job, but someone has to do it.

>perverting the holy human form.
Admech are overdue for a purge.

I'm under the impression that it works via the warp, or at least the aetheric stuff they use does. In the Horus Heresy the one Martian forge-city to widely adopt that kind of tech ended up spared from the scrap code plague because it offered resistance against chaos. It saw much wider inclusion after that, and the Skitarii Codex mentions that even Rangers themselves have a connection to it among their other communication systems, which all work to feed data to their information hungry masters in orbit..
In contemporary definition, the noosphere is a fictional, ephemeral manifestation of collective consciousness, a sort of psychic collective aura generated by conscious beings. A sphere of human thought and collective information. If the AdMech are tapping into this, it's a tangentially psychic method of communication on a secure network, though probably severely limited given their technological limitations.

Sure! Why don't you just fire up the old Leman Russ there, fleshie? Oh wait!

Hey guys, c'mon, let's work together here. How about we go slaughtering some filthy Tau, huh? Rend their flesh and destroy their heretical machinery to remind us all that in the end, Mars and Terra are best buds that need each other to stand up to those filthy xenos and heretics. We'll do some trust firing lines and work on our communication for the afternoon, maybe even take some equipment-care workshops.
>>46795415
I don't know, the last time the Mechanicus and Imperials fought Tau the former deployed minimal forces to the frontline, instead opting to abuse the entire crusade in order to steal a massive amount of working Tau-tech.
Oh yes, we analysing, reverse-engineering and finding the inherent weaknesses of blueberry Xenotech now.
