Is this shit worth anything?

Appropriate glue can salvage anything if you try hard enough.

If you intend on playing 40k, keep it and fix it up.
If you don't intend on playing 40k, sell it on ebay.

I've also Got these Dwarves and a few other bits. I got them from my cousin over 10 years ago so they could be pushing 15-20 years old? All lead figures.

Again, is this stuff worth anything?

Do you have any Idea on a price? I know It is in bad condition so If I'm not gonna get my postage costs I'd rather just give it away.

Personally I'd look it up on ebay and judge the prices from there.
I don't play 40k or WHFB either, so I don't know their price ranges, but ebay should give you a good estimate.

I recognise many of those dwarfs from some of the old citadel catalogues from the 80's which I have pored over in the past.

Oldhammer fans would kill for the amount you have. If you stripped them and took some nice photos you should be able to make bank on eBay or some forum.

Individual dwarfs from that era go for about £6-20.

So I've had a browse and found this. I've got two of this particular model and 8 of this unit type. I'm in a good mood now.

How would I strip the paint off them without fucking them up even more?

But yea the 40k stuff will not win you much at all, but the dwarves are coveted now that fantasy is dead and oldhammer fans are crawling out of the wood work, if you have chaos dwarves especially those are well liked.
