Not at all. Quest threads, while being conducted through a non-traditional medium, are essentially traditional role playing games. CYOA are a facet of those games, and ultimately act as a consolidation of the eternal "would you rather?" style game.

This, on the other hand, is a video game. A video game with roleplaying elements, but it is still a video game. That means /v/ or /vg/. Pretty self explanatory and fairly indisputable.
Now, I am willing to concede on the matter that it may have MORE traditional roleplaying elements than many other video games, and that it's archaic interface puts it almost on the level of a role playing chatroom which exists in a bit of a gray space, but even then it still isn't a traditional game, and still less of a traditional game than the quests/cyoa threads which you yourself believe don't belong here.

And, this is hardly "bitching." It is requesting that you justify yourselves and explain your reasoning, and I'm afraid that all you've managed to do is go laps and laps around the issue, and that issue is that this is a video game general on a traditional games board, and you think it belongs here because you don't like the already existing general dedicated to this game in the video game general board.
