Fun fun story time then. Archons name is up for change obviously, was just the first thing on the top of my head.

In his days as a Dracon our Kabal's Archon, Zyziphas the Adulated, took part in a real space raid against Exodites being defended by Craftworlders. During this raid he pulled off the fabled "quintuple razorwing spinning guillotine hellhound deathstrike" move on his jetbike, disemboweling several aspect warriors with his high speed war machine, before dismounting by leaping into the air, drawing his sword in midair, and beheading the Shining Spears Exarch that had been in hot pursuit seconds before, landing perfectly on his feet. In proper form for a warrior of his caliber, the Exarch's head didn't fall from his shoulders until after the Drakon had sheathed his blade.

His Kabal, too distracted by how fucking sick the move was, failed to notice that the Dracon's jetbike had also set a direct course to crash into their current Archon's own, completely disintegrating the old Reaver in an explosion of jet fuel and shrapnel. Failing to notice the Archons death until after the raid when they came down from their combat high, it was assumed he must have met his end at the hands of a Fire Dragon Aspect Warrior, or perhaps a fire breathing Megadon of some sort. Rousing his comrades, Zyziphas took on the mantle of Archon and swore vengeance against the Craftworlders and Exodites for the death of their comrades, which happened to include his rival Dracons. This was of course simply a continuation of the Kabals prejudice against their Eldar cousins for lacking any style.

Well, this particular kabal is being hunted by the Death Consuls but we should not let them have all the fun. Meaning that winning some significant battles and inflicting casualties/torture/murder on the Space marines are necessary to justify the Kabal's continued existence.
