Alright I've got a weird request.
I'm looking for art that exemplifies a certain ethos or zeitgeist. Does anyone else remember how a lot of science fiction and post apocalyptic stuff looked in the early two thousands? Like really bleak but also bright. Lots of poured concrete and corrugated metal with not a cloud in the hazy blue sky. The main example I can think off the top of my head is Codehunters. But I know there was more because it left such a distinct stamp in my mind. Borderlands also had it as well, but less so. Does anyone else know what I'm talking about? Am I crazy?
In any case, I'm making a semi-post-apocalyptic/cyberpunk setting influenced by that style/ethos so I need location art/inspiration.

Not really sure what you mean, but I'll post some stuff I have and you say if it's close to what you meant or not.
Am posting everything from thumbs, so not sure what the deets on everything are.
>>46462025
Most of it will most likely not be post apoc though, severely lack that. Slums might be here and there though

That's about all semi-related stuff I got. Hope this is of use but I don't really expect it to be
>>46462106
This here is pretty close to the feeling I'm going for.
>>46462236
Thought that was the closest one. Found this one buried in my folder too, might be close. Everything looks pretty bright yet the sea levels have obviously risen so much this might be counted as post apoc
>>46462351
Thumbnail made that look a lot brighter than it actually was, I take back what I said
>>46462351
>>46462398
Both of these are pretty good.
Thanks for bearing with me here.
More like these?

Requesting absolutely massive fortifications. Giant walls, castles, walled cities, ect.

This piece immediately made me think of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-GI1x_YI4Fw

I need pictures of swamps.
European style swamps in particular.
>>46462351
Oh man, one airliner into that wall and boy oh boy.
>>46470115
Why'd they even make it like that? To generate energy?
>>46470562
Historically, these places end up like that because they were at sea level before the sea level rose.Keep an eye on New York, you'll see it happen pretty soon.
