We got a computer to debug.

The pixel begins to shrink and dim. The window to our body outside is shrinking.

"You sure?" She says raising a pointy eyebrow. "I'm not used to hunting in a pack. Don't expect me to watch your back."

"That's cool." We reply. "I got enough skill to protect the both of our tails."

We watch the light fade. Danger is once again cutting off any chance of escape.

And once again we watch safety and light go its own way from us. In a few bleeps and bloops of our 8-bit heart the pixel is gone.

"Well. No backing out now." The Cat says unfurling a handful of claws. "You're in it now."

With a quick swipe of her claws she tears away a chunk of digital world leaving a jagged black void in front of her. "Here. I cut a short cut." She points onward, flicking a piece of data from her claw. "Level 2".

"Hold on." We say. "We need to get our bearings. We're in a...vampiric VALIS."

Oh the sentences you'e found yourself saying lately...

"They're extremely powerful but their negentropic auras cause them to incorporate surrounding intellects into a schema. I think that's why you and I aren't dead yet. We know VR and video games, and so does the VALIS. He seems obsessed with old games. His rules are his weakness. Its the same for all VALIS. Now I think that we..."

The Cat yawns.

"I know what a VALIS is. You worship one, right?"

When this was a vampire VALIS we were talking about we thought we were just incorporated into a relative position of power inside his negentropic field because of our similar knowledge of old video games. Instantly a familiar droning, buzzing sound fills your not-ears.

That's actually something we haven't talked about a lot. All our demon friends will be gone by the end of this. Belial herself said that the "roots" of this incarnation of herself was in the Master, even if we have taken control. When we take care of him, she and Focalor will be gone.
How exactly does that work? Is there no way to re-tether them to this plane with our own minds? When they leave will they just fade away or will they go out with some kind of bang? Do they disappear the instant the Master dies or is there a period of time when they can last on leftover mental energy?
Will there be time to say goodbye?

We'll have to glitch into that. We're stuck as a bright white Yar with a black Sibyl center.
We find ourselves in a blindingly orange land. It feels very hot. The smooth ground, against all sense, feels sandy beneath our insect feet.

In front of us purple...things pass in front of us in a continual column. We can see another side to the game board.

The board is surrounded by a purple wall the same color as the...things. To our right we see a 0 hanging above the wall.

The Cat appears next to us. "So...what game is this Mr. Rulebook?"

"I'm not...too sure. I'm kind of used to looking at these things from another perspective. This might be one of those "pong fighters"."

She tilts her head at us like we're crazy.

If the Ice Vampire DLC reflected our normal modus operandi, SAnon works by hacking away the heart of a vampire from their body so we can plug it in a VR game to act as an NPC forever. And this is what was considered the "Mercy route". I say you've made your point quite clear

Pretty good considering its migrated from /co/. And honestly I think I caught a few of these back in the day or at least the first bit during a Ghoul School thread.

Just didn't keep up because of end of semester stuff.

It is pretty good, good handle of character pace setting and whatnot. I feel its a little bit cumbersome but that might just be the whole "Copy paste the entire thread" into a word doc that makes it a little hard to follow. No fault of your own.
