Ain't nothin' wrong with a good redemption/falling story.
>>
What would you think of a Filcher Hidden Blade Unchained Rogue? What would you do to make such a character even better at stealing things?
>>
>>46372552
Well, I mean, I agree that if different schools being balanced is a concern, abjuration needs more love and should have more spells(quite possibly including spells currently belonging to other schools such as defensive force spells from evocation, and possibly some spells from divination, conjuration and maybe even transmutation), but putting completely unrelated spells and declaring abjuration to mean something that it most definitely does not mean is NOT the right solution. But given the state of pathfinder in general, wizard specialists being unbalanced with each other is such a small issue that it's hardly worth contemplating.

As in, she is made of the stuff of Evil. She can't be anything BUT evil or she would have ceased to exist. It's the whole, the entirety of her essence.

So angels can't fall, got it.
>>
>>46372819
>>46372757
In general, you're correct.

However, Arueshalae was basically mind-raped by a god into feeling guilt for what she'd done, which is what set her on the road to redemption. It couldn't have happened otherwise.
>>
>>46372849
Not without radical changes to the core and center of their being, at which point they aren't Angels anymore.

Unless you're an angel that used to be mortal -- then you can go all across the alignment spectrum that you want.
>>46372841
And she's also Evil. She cannot be anything other than Chaotic and Evil without essentially unmaking her.
>>
>>46372819

The justification they give doesn't even make sense. They say she's different from other fiends because she remembers what she was like as a mortal. But as a mortal she was EVIL, which is why she became a fiend in the first place.
>>
>>46372740

Paladin of Iomedae, she had an exceptional bust that only came out during the rare social event, and was more to surprise the players than titillation.

The art I had to use for her was certainly titillating, though!
>>
>>46372886
Not so much "changes who they are" as "entirely different thing". If you have absolutely nothing in common with the new "you", are you the same person?

Modrons are ridiculous for an entirely other set of reasons.

Go on.
>>
>>46372938
Also consider that fiends are fiends (in Pathfinder at least) because they're being punished for the evil they did in life. Therefore, even if redeeming a fiend is possible, it's interfering with cosmic justice by letting someone get away with evil. To save a damned soul from getting what it deserves, you have to damn yourself in its place.

Everyone expects corrupted beings in such areas.
Everyone expects demons and mutated undead and fiendish dire animals who now live only for the blood of... blah blah blah

What they expect less are things who never so much as *noticed* the corruption. Not because they're holy or whatnot, but because they *can't*.

Like robots.

But I guess if you really wanna go the traditional way, consider used-to-be-people now fused/trapped in/with their armor. Like haunted armors, infested terrans, beast-infected Taiidan multigun corvette, etc etc.
>>
>>46372995
Where the fuck do you get that interpretation of Fiends? A lot of Fiends were never a mortal soul and none of the fiends existed at the dawn of time, they were all created afterwards (except the Qlippoths) and each has a specific purpose, NONE of which are punishment. The closest that come to this are Devils, but they are an example of superiority, not punishment.
>>
>>46373075
Because he can't into christian mythology =/= every mythology.
>>
>>46372546
Hey, type hierarchy fag here. Last thread I mentioned that after switching to unchained monster creation I dropped the unintuitive type hierarchy due to the headaches it causes.

Monsters are now assigned any and all types they would logically qualify for. Planetouched are humanoid/outsiders, dragons are dragon/magical beasts or dragon/humanoids, etc.

There is one other change I would make: rename the outsider type to "spirit" because that is a more accurate descriptor of its usage. The native subtype is dropped because spirits may be native to any plane including the material, while the whatevertouched are mortals with spirit ancestry.

Advice and critique?
>>
>>46373074
Tank crew all fused together into one eternally pained mass to their tank, chaos-defiler style?

Although that would be the fiend version. I do recognize the Multi-Gun corvette there... beast was goddamn biohorror.
>>
>>46373106
so...do the rules for targeting creatures/immunities/whatever carry over?
>>
>>46373075
>>46373096
That's not how Christian mythology works. Demons and damned souls are distinctly different in that, with no overlap. However, some pathfinder fiends, and this succubus in particular, are indeed damned souls, which means that un-damning them amounts to excusing them of whatever they did.
>>
Which small-sized race makes the best shortstacks?
>>
>>46373154
>which means that un-damning them amounts to excusing them of whatever they did.
or maybe "yea, maybe one thousand years of being dammed is enough for being a cheating whore in real life. you can be happy now."
>>
>>46373074
Yeah, we're doing a bit more of a classical style with this. post magical half-apocalypse, a bunch of the world is corrupted by "the void" (basically just evil and corruption and shit, catch-all term), but all the good shit is in there. i quite like the haunted armors and infections and that, thoguh. got any more ideas?
>>
>>46372995
>Also consider that fiends are fiends (in Pathfinder at least) because they're being punished for the evil they did in life.

Rewarded, you mean. Why would evil gods choose to punish their followers?
>>
>>46372958

>>46372902

>>
>>46373190
They reward the ones who are actually useful to them.
>>
>>46373154
What? But that doesn't make the damnation a punishment. Where are you getting this idea becoming a demon is always a punishment?
>>
>>46373154
Early on, probably.

If you've gone past lemure or whatever the lowest stage is though, that means you've fully embraced your new role and aligment. At that point there's no excusing; you're a demon through and through. You're utterly INTO this shit now, and body, mind and soul are ALL made of the chaotic stuff of Evil
>>
>>46373165
Halflings or Gnomes.
>>
>>46373066
That's not what it says in her writeup, though. All it says is that Desna gave her back her mortal memories. Maybe she also specifically forced her to feel bad about them, but it doesn't say. It would make sense, though, since she didn't feel bad enough about them in life to stop being an evil shit before she died.

If you can change early on then you can change later, especially with a deity's intervention.
>>
>>46373150
Creatures are vulnerable to and may benefit from any effect that targets at least one of their types. E.g. an aasimar may be affected by both charm person and planar binding, while a centaur may be affected by charm person. The original system is arbitrary and unintuitive.
>>
>>46373201
>>46373280
Which raises the question - is an alignment change genuine if it's forced? If you're made good by alchemy or a cursed helmet or a god's whimsy, do you still go to the lower planes when you die? That would be pretty funny if you did.

>When Arueshalae woke, she was filled with memories and regret, and immediately set about to atone for her very existence. The brush with Desna awoke within her both mythic potential and a great shame.

>filled with memories and regret
>brush with Desna awoke a great shame
>reached into her soul and quickened her larval core
>dreams that she'd had but never came true

Perhaps she was never SUPER evil as a mortal, but she definitely had Desna mindfuck her into guilt. Or maybe soulfuck her into guilt, since that's where she went meddling.

look at the 40k demon engines; vehicles that have - over thousands of years at least - slowly been twisted and corrupted until the vehicle itself is a demon, and sometimes what was once its occupants are now a raging demonic core granting it an even greater amount of boundless hatred.

There's also Anthraxians (see 'hackmaster'); things that still look, *AND ARE* innocent and often helpless. Things you want to save.

They just happen to be covered in whatever nasty is down there though, and so to save them or take them with you is second only to swimming in the stuff.

Then of course there's experiments and prototypes. Because all things have potential in them, even the worst of evils. No one - not even most crazies - would touch stuff that's *absolutely* *unstoppably* bad-end. But that's the thing with corruption. It's CORRUPTION, not a fucking singularity. It's something that COULD be used for good, or for non-infectious destruction or whatever other goals one may have.

That means somewhere out there there's people who look at whatever the fuck's down there and think "but what if we could harness it for X"?

The failures who underestimated it are everywhere, sure, but they're just the usual basic crap you encounter and expect.

No, what's really, really scary is when they actually succeed. Now there's something fully sapient, fully capable, NOT at all suffering from the usual 'corruption, capable of completely utilizing the potential of whatever energies or matter were down there (think metroid Omega Pirates).

Of course, It's just data indicating the thing successfully surfaced as every test was green. In fact tests went so well those who created it may not even have been killed by some escape...

It won't succumb or anything to what it wields now.

>Those in its line of fire aren't so lucky though
>>
>>46373372
Ask the guy who invented this:

>CHANGE ALIGNMENT, GREATER
>Prerequisites: Alchemist 20, change alignment discovery, infusion discovery
>Benefits: The effects of the alchemist's change alignment infusion become permanent and can only be reversed by a wish or miracle. A permanent, forced change of alignment may be devastating, and some believe it is little better than zealous slavery or mind control. Others consider a good alignment brought about by any means but purity of heart an affront to freedom. This discovery remains controversial at best.

It's from the book for good aligned characters, meant for being taken by good alchemists.
>>
>>46373430
Well doing evil acts while dominated still counts as evil for you, I believe, so it would affect which afterlife you went to.
>>
>>46373280
They so want to say it though.

But when you're brute-force despoiling the very core of someone's existence to make it fit what you like more, there's just no way you can stand there and claim that without backlash.

It's the worst thing you can do to anyone, and even when someone might deserve it.... It's far from a good act.
>>
>>46373433
That just says that it's an open question in the game world and characters disagree about the ethics of it. That isn't evidence one way or the other.
>>
>>46373433
Isn't that saying that it's very controversial, and definitely not considered good by all. It pretty much says "Ask your dm"
>>
>>46373468
>>46373280
They come close, yes. But even a godly powered despoiling of somebody's existence only got her to Neutral, and she kept the Evil subtype.

Guy from last thread with an update on the Jade Regent situation; apparently the DM is really liking what he sees with Path of War, and is now going to suggest the other players look at it as well as green-light the classes.

This puts me in an awkward spot since I was originally going with a Golden Lion Warlord as per the suggestion last thread, but now I'm kind of thinking about going Zweihander Sentinel with Mithral Current for maximum Last Samurai... Which do y'all think will do better in Jade Regent? Any interesting swords we may run into?

Is that true for all succubi - that the energy drain is involuntary, and can't be turned off? Seems like that could blow their cover, if someone were to steal a kiss in public and fall over dead.

>Energy Drain (Su) A succubus drains energy from a mortal she lures into an act of passion, such as a kiss.
There's no 'can' or 'may' in there, so yeah, it pretty much just happens.

Presumably if someone tried to kiss the standard disguised succubutt in public, she'd just dodge and play up the blushing maiden.
>>
>>46374078
How often does that happen? If they're at the point where they can exchange PDA with their victim, they could have sealed the deal and sucked their soul out long ago, so that will never actually come up.

Succubi generally don't have a desire for "passionate contact" except for the energy drain that comes with it. They go through the motions of being sexually alluring because that's the easiest way to secure a victim - to appear to be what you want and then trick you into thinking that someone would want you back.

>GM glances at something behind the screen and declares it a miss
>>
>>46374303
That reminds me, is there any ruling on disguising the effects of energy drain? As it stands, succubi can't stealthy drain anything with more than 1 HD.
>>
>>46374513
It's an Su ability, so it won't be obvious that the succubus is doing it to anyone but the person feeling the effects.

Said person is getting hit with suggestion at the same time, so if they fail that Will save, it isn't gonna matter what they think.
>>
>>46374557
And that suggestion is to go for another act of passion, so attempting a quick peck may quickly result in a withered corpse hitting the ground and a succubus with her cover blown.
>>
>>46374617
The suggestion is "to accept another act of passion from the succubus", not to initiate one. They won't resist the succubus going in for another smooch at any time in the next 12 hours, but they aren't gonna fall all over her if she decides to back it off or move somewhere more private.
>>
>>46374557
Then a succubus's suggestion overrides the unreasonable/harmful clause of compulsion effects. I guess that's fair.
>>
>>46374617
What is it with you and cover? A succubus doesn't need to maintain a cover identity for a long-term relationship. She's not trying to get her mark to buy her a house or anything, she just wants to take him somewhere private the night they meet and kiss him to death.

How would you RP a soulless clone created by technology after the true soul is out of the running? They've got -2 to Charisma, which is relatively subtle as changes go, but also no ability to advance or innovate.

Now what if the original was still around, but had transcended to a psychic AI? Would the clone be likely to rebel, or would that be too much like a new idea for it to manage?

My Iron Gods campaign is gonna go some real weird places by the end. Gotta keep those metagaming shits I call players on their toes.

I know they stripped it out of pathfinder for waifufaggotry reasons, but outsiders used to have the 'Always' (X alignment) tag as opposed to 'Usually' because they were literally created to be evil as part of their creation. Literally shaped from Evil and Chaos itself.

Actually, the answer might be right there. It says "a mortal SHE LURES into an act of passion", so maybe it only works when the succubus initiates. Of course, then you have to justify why Arueshalae doesn't let a potential lover take the lead, but that could just be that she's too nervous about what could happen in a moment of passion.

It's been what, fifty years since she's had a lover? She's probably got the aches something fierce, which is why if a lover starts to put the moves on her and they take it to the bedroom there's the risk she won't be able to control herself.

I think that's why she just doesn't want sex until full redemption.
>>

A steady supply of idiots who want sex will never be in doubt.
>>

Or it could be because she's asexual, as succubi are sometimes interpreted to be. She doesn't want sex as an act in itself; her urge to touch others was bound up with her urge to kill others, and that's gone now. She would only have sex because she knows it's the price to be paid if she wants to have companionship in her life.

I like the idea of a redeemed succubus who seeks redemption for the pettiest of reasons.

Well, maybe not a succubus, but some other kind of fiend, that has placed themselves on the incredibly long anddifficult road towards redemption for an inherently evil being. Simply because someone told him/her that it was impossible for a fiend to be good, and being as impulsive and stubborn as a fiend, s/he immediately decided to prove that person wrong via any means necessary

Good point, and while it says she's very open to having sex, her bio ties it deeply into love and affection more than the gross physical pleasure.

But would that make her asexual? Nothing says she doesn't enjoy the act of sex, she just wants to have sex with a person she cares about - in fact, note the passage here;

>"While Arueshalae desperately wants to love and be loved, she knows knows that if she ever again drains a soul to death, even in passion, she will be lost forever."

It's tying in her desire to be loved with passion and sex, and she's denying herself the opportunity to be loved because she knows it will develop into something intimate. You could argue that's just her knowing that's how relationships go, but that takes jumping through a few more mental hoops than "she wants to have sex with the person she loves, but can't due to her nega-lips."

It would not be in her nature to enjoy sex. Her alignment change would not come with the mating instincts required to desire sex as an end in itself.

Think about it. In their natural state, succubi never, ever get past first base. They kiss you, they drain your energy until you die, and nothing else happens. They can flirt, but they would be predisposed to flirt with anyone and everyone who seemed to be interested in them, since the process of sexual selection isn't a factor here. In short, succubi don't fuck; they hunt.

Honestly, the more funny idea is an angel trying to do this with antipaladins. Good ole' Thean would be willing to help that outsider find the right path.

If I had to describe what a risen Balor would look like, I imagine a hulking figure, maybe in gold or silver armor. It'd still have wings and they'd still be batlike since Erinyes still have bird wings. They wouldn't be beautiful, but they'd be less twisted and cruel-looking. Essentially, a celestial ogre with horns and wings, probably.

Vrocks are harder, but you could do the same thing that everyone does when making fallen angels in reverse and just change their color scheme and make them look less cruel and wicked. Make their beak less sharp, claws a bit less hooked, and generally look more noble.

Innacurate. They can breed with others of their own kind, usually incubi. They just stop short of killing their lovers (most of the time) and then spend the rest of the time torturing them. Memes aside, what you're saying really does make sense, however there's so much more going on in having sex that she doesn't necessarily have to be "into it" to enjoy it. Arueshalae can feel love, passion and intimacy, three things sex with a lover has a lot of.

So it got mentioned a thread or two ago, but how would one actually effectively be an ALL ENCHANTMENTS ALL THE TIME sorcerer? Kitsune with Arcane or Fey bloodline, FCB into enchantment DCs, Spell focus, and traiting for charm monster, are all fine and good, but what else can you even add to that? /Is/ there anything to add to that? Once you specialize that hard, what off-school spells can you even take that would still be useful? Story/ThatGM(?) time.

So in my planescape game we've been dealing with politics on our 'home' plane, where dwarves rule the country we're in, with the bank being controlled by the LE God of Gold and Greed. The bank also had pseudo-control of the government as they held a monopoly over money-holding and handling.

The group essentially committed insurance fraud to create an opportunity to ruin the bank's reputation and destroy its powerbase. Now, my character is an extraplanar who dislikes the entire Dwarven culture, and is quite happy about the bank going away, and the dwarves presumably going back into their mountain halls, because now the more conservative and insular clans who had been suppressed by the bank can now take up seats in the council.

Win/win, right? Nope. In the eyes of the law, our group is owed hundreds of thousands of gold from what was 'stolen' from our insured bank vault. In the process of chasing out the priests and clerics from the bank building, we also decided to take what's ours from looting the bank's ornate building. In the haul was quite a collection of Elven statuary. My character, an elfaboo, wants to give them back to the Elven people who have become a oppressed minority after a war that banished the Elves from their homeland and split them up.

Our Goblin, being a aurophilic jerk, wanted to sell them. Naturally, the PCs had an IC quibbling match, which ultimately resolved in the statues being taken out of my character's share of the treasure.

Well, as we were managing inventory (in the middle of the bank) between our respective Bags of Holding, Council Guards marched in and snatched up part of the collection of statuary and carted it off. My PC explained that those statues belonged to her and that they needed to return them, only to get stonewalled to the point of enragement. In an attempt to steal them back (She's CG), she ran a-foul of a Kolyarut who's reaction was basically "STOP RIGHT THERE, CRIMINAL SCUM" (OK not really) cont/

The Kolyarut told her the same thing as the Dwarves. Since that the statues had been catalogued by the survey team, she'd have to essentially lodge and injunction at the pre-trial which would liquidate the bank's remaining assets to pay off its debts.

Having a decent K(Planes) score from being a planar wanderer before settling down with the group, she knows that Kolyarut are the deal-enforcers of the Lawful parts of the Wheel. Attempting to explain that these statues are part of restitution for an insurance policy that was (as far as anybody but the group knows) reneged upon by the bank, the Kolyarut was still intent on either forcing her to work through the immensely unfair to non-Dwarfs legal system or fuck off.

Now my character has had negative experiences with Dwarven bureaucracy before, compounded on being angry about getting stonewalled earlier she decides to just take the statues anyways, fuck the police. This starts a combat between myself (alone) versus 3 Wizards of atleast 13th level, 3 clerics of indeterminate level, 1 Kolyarut with Scarlet Throne maneuvers, and something like 12 guards, of indeterminate level and class. I assume fighters of around 13-14 since they were rolling about +20 to-hit.

If your DM thinks POW is OP then basically explain to him that it is limited by raging song rounds/day, you don't get anything above 6th level maneuvers. The reason this is good is that the maneuvers are instantly readied for everyone and you can refresh everyone's maneuvers by stopping then restarting the performance in the same round.
>>
>>46375868
in pathfinder, it is generally defined as something that has its own soul (as opposed to a soul either made from a mortal soul or spun from a primal force, like an elemental). So dragons are technically mortal even though they are extremely long lived.

In general, being a mortal means that you have a limited lifespan and the ability to choose your own destiny and purpose, which most immortal beings dont have the capacity to do without some kind of outside intervention (gods being the exception)
>>
>>46376591
That was the reason for the sarcasm, since you know summoner can get that as a class feature on it's pet.

Equally far from someone who can handle their bosses, in a place so adamantly against extraplanar influence they might kill the refugees on principle.
>>
>>46377349
Is Rahadoum against extraplanars in general, or just gods? I thought it was just gods.

They could alternatively welcome them, as they'd welcome anyone trying to break away from the divine overlords.

I needed a class with more maneuvers available.

To maintain the WBL of an NPC, I didn't want to give him a shocking weapon, so I gave him the Elemental Flux stance and a strike to give electric melee attacks.

I also needed the Primal Warrior stance to give him a different feel when fighting him one on one against a PC. It also makes those combat maneuvers easier to perform.

Necrocrafts.
I need some help with one, so I wanted to be all cool and inventive and make a super defensive one, by removing it's arms(claws) and face (bite) and giving it 6 legs. Armoring it up, and just having a giant plated spidery thing. But my Dm won't let me get +1 CP for removing the arms. Is this reasonable? Am I missing some terrible way to get infinite CP or something?
I just wanted to remake the B.O.X from Metroid fusion. It's only attack would be trample and a bash attack.

And Urgathoa is Stephanie Meyer tempting her to the dark side, while Zyphus just honestly thinks the series would be better if Snape and Harry fugged.
>>
>>46378762
It didn't cost you anything to get the arms, why should you gain anything by removing them?
>>

Well, because it loses any ability to wear rings, gloves, or bracers. It cannot hold or use objects even if commanded. It's got no arms.
>>
>>46378519
I realized this partway though, but not a whole hell of a lot changes about my suggestion list. Synthesist Summoner becomes a thing, though I will to toss Alchemist||Sorcerer (Sage Wildblooded, Tattooed if your GM lets it stack) onto the suggestion pile, as well as Unchained Rogue||Magus (Hexcrafter+Bladebound)

Really, there's no shortage of amusing, excellent combinations... But what do you actually want to /DO/? Personally, if your GM didn't ban archetypes from the occult books, I would go with some form of summoner gestalted with Alchemist (Promethean/Preservationist), simply because it would just be ludicrously versatile... Though maybe not for that particular campaign.

Gotta go WAY back to Second Darkness' optional module for it, but there's a bit for Best Bat.

>Master of Black Wings and Lord of Stolen Blood, the bat god Camazotz flies among the winged predators of the underworld, reminding the living why they fear the night and leading his brood to feast upon the weak. Appearing as a gigantic and terrifying man-like bat, Camazotz garbs himself with the sacrifices of his worshipers and the blood of his victims.
>He delights in tricking foolish mortals—whether they be foes or dutiful servants—from the safety of their homes and into the maws of predators. He cares little for his followers but enjoys their sacrifices, protecting them only so they might continue to offer him skulls, blood, bodies, sweet drink, and other offerings. Those who turn from his faith or otherwise wrong the bloodthirsty god face his ire and might find themselves haunted by bats for the rest of their lives.
>Camazotz rules a tripartite realm, spanning the cavernous ceiling over the Abyssal pit of Argahoz, the vast Arcadian Darklands wilderness known as the Land of the Eleven Deaths, and his palace, the House of the Bat, in the distant realm of death, Xibalba.
>Following their deity’s example, the cult of Camazotz seeks to spread fear and undermine the comforts of civilization. They revel in the night and revere nocturnal predators, especially bats in all of their gigantic varieties, though jaguars, vultures, spiders, and wolves are also venerated. Ceremonies to the bat god always involve blood sacrifices—preferably drawn by the fangs of living beasts—that are offered or directly fed to fearful statues or icons of Camazotz.
>Camazotz’s domains are Animal, Chaos, Darkness, Evil, and Trickery. His favored weapon is the javelin.

Daikitsu will never get a proper write-up because she's LITERALLY Inari.

>Inari Ōkami (稲荷大神?, also Oinari) is the Japanese kami of foxes, of fertility, rice, tea and Sake, of agriculture and industry, of general prosperity and worldly success, and one of the principal kami of Shinto. In earlier Japan, Inari was also the patron of swordsmiths and merchants

I may be a huge retard for only now noticing Kitsune canonically go after farmers, boastful soldiers and merchants for their trickery, all people that fall under the focus of Inari Okami.

Lets say a lich had a shit ton of clones of himself lying around preserved in various demiplanes and safehouses before the whole lichdom ritual. If his current skeletal body dies does he wake up in another living body or does the flesh immediately fall off his clone?

What about saving pieces of himself after the lichdom ritual, can he then produce full flesh and blood body clones for later use or does every destruction default to him rejuvenating from his phylactery?

It's before skeltal body, it's when he does the ritual, whether his soul goes to the phylactery or the clone. If he goes to the phylactery and becomes a lich then having his body destroyed isn't going to affect the clones because those only spring to life when his soul exits his body. Soul's in the phylactery. New zombody generates from the phylactery.

Clone is an 8th level spell Sorc/Wiz and Witch, and you can become a lich way sooner than you'll have access to Clone. It's the path for people who aren't willing or able to wait until they're 15th level to become effectively immortal. Plus, it's probably faster and less tedious, not to mention it's easier to hide a tiny phylactery than a clone laboratory.

Got a 9. Guess I'm making this for 9ths, then.

Party is 9th-level and consists of 4 or more PCs.

CR 9
Environment: Swamp/Bog (Difficult Terrain, Waist-deep water, Fog rolls in after 4 rounds, several patches of quicksand, low-hanging trees)
Monsters: CR 8 Sarglagon + CR 5 Globster (+1 Globster per PC over 4)
Tactics: Sarglagon uses Freedom of Movement to ignore environmental hazards. Protection from Good prior to combat. Hydraulic Torrent + Control Water to separate PCs; Flight + Hydraulic Torrent to push flying PCs downward; Heavy Aura roots melee PCs & makes low-CMD PCs vulnerable to Globster attacks. Globsters Grapple+Nauseate isolated PCs.

CR 10
Environment: Cave/Ruined Dungeon. Frequent sources of cover like columns, stalactites, etc. Dim light. 3 moving clouds of vision-blocking mist; affects PCs and monsters equally. 1 moving cloud of acidic mist; monsters are unaffected. 2 to 4 pools of immobile acid as hazards.
Monsters: CR 8 Tenebrous Worm + 4 CR 4 Gloomwings (+2 Gloomwings for 5 PCs, or +1 Tenebrous Worm for 6 PCs)
Tactics: Gloomwings use Flyby Attack to harass PCs who have taken AoOs or are still flat-footed, or PCs who are isolated; Gloomwings begin combat spread out, filling as much of the area with confusion and pheromones as possible, and move in a clockwise motion to avoid having any individual Gloomwing take too much damage. If a PC is isolated, they swarm it until it fails its save. Worm stays in the cloud of acid until a PC it attacks/it is attacked by fails its save vs. its poison, at which point it screeches and begins devouring that PC while the Gloomwings get between it and the other PCs.

Well, that was good to get out of my system. Due to IRL things, I couldn't start running the game I wanted to for my group, but the leftover GM-energy is still sitting around unused.

How much has to be rebalanced (if at all) when a player chooses to use PoW martial classes instead of Paizo martial classes?
>>
my DM not only put a strong indpendent man-hating( she already punched me twice for nothing) female warrior PNG in the party actively taking actions and decisions ( it was the first to charge in an optional encounter i was trying to avoid and frequently expressed her opinion on everything) but also "gifted" our mostly LG 3-male-players party with an uncontrollable brain damaged friendly kobold, whom, thanks to our smart paladin, can't now be abandoned by us.
Both excellently roleplayed and i don't expect them to ever try to do something that will really endangers the party (because our DM fortuantely believes mastering is not about trying to beat down the players).
please note that none of the player is murderhobo or a campaign derailer fucker and we are all trying our best to play our G characters with 2000 words backgrounds to justify their interest in the campaign coherently.

how would you feel about it? how would you react if something similar were to happen to your campaign?

Ignoring the fact i hate that i hate the premise of those 2 characters, i feel a bit worried about the GM using those PNGs to railroad, influence, control decisions of the party even if not maliciously.
