The Adventurers Royal Office finally sent us a dungeon to clear, apparently it's some old tombs east of the Capital. I'm soooo excited, it's our first job!

Look at what the letter says here : ''As per the Dungeon Ecosystem Protection Act, you can only bring 4 people on this journey.''

So we won't be able to bring everyone. That's kind of shitty if you ask me.

At least we will be able to afford something other than sour potatoes. If I knew the only thing we would eat was Oro's mashed potatoes recipe for a whole month I don't think I would have signed up.

Anyway, let's bring up the map.

[Karen] Hmm. It's a two floor dungeon, with 5 rooms for each. The first floor is a Class E while the second one is D.

I don't think we'll have any problem with this one.

Do you remember how to clear dungeons, Guildmaster? We need to venture into them to defeat the Boss of each floor. We then bring back their heads to the Adventurers Royal Office and we'll get paid.

All of us and not a single one of yea chose a polearm? you all got something against stabbin' people with a piece of metal on a stick or something?

When i was a adventurer I always had halberd to poke shit with, hell, multiple spears even! good for triggerin' traps, knocking apples off of trees, scratching your back.

Novices, the lot o' ya..
>>
>>46248436
I'm choosing you, Eria, Lambert and Karen, but that still leaves the choice between Oro and Lyr. Oro has more red dots and he's HUGE, so let's add him to the party.
>>
>>46248436
Hmm, maybe I should hire a secretary then, when we have the money for it

Anyway, with 5 people and us only being allowed to bring 4 that means one of you will have to stay behind... I'm guessing I won't be getting any volunteers.

Their papers taste right. Even the writing on it is legit.

What do we do now, Guildmaster?
>>
What's our guild name again? My alcoholism is acting up again.
>>

[show our own identification]
There seems to be some sort of misunderstanding.
Is your Guildmaster in the area?
>>
>>46255444
Show them our papers and try to work this situation out.
>>
>>46255379
>>46255444
Oh boy. The capital double-booked the dungeon? Well, shit.
>>
>>46255444
Even the writing tastes right? Damn.
>>46255471
Working the situation out is our job

I guess we clear this place together, spliting earnings one part a person. We can get to the bottom of this afterword.

I am the Guildmaster.

>>46255471
>>46255512
Hmm. This is an official seal. Your papers are authentic too.

I swear if the Adventurers Royal Office really double-booked this dungeon heads will roll.

Either way we should go back to the Capital to sort this out. Even if we bring the boss heads they might not accept it. You know, they consider it Boss poaching.
>>
>>46255706
That would be a waste, wouldn't it? Can't we just clear the dungeon and then figure it out at the Capital afterwards?
>>
>>46255706
Just for authenticity's sake, can we see the head?
>>
>>46255706
That's nonsense, they double-booked it so we would fight each other for the heads. Why not give the heads to us and we'll split the money with you afterwards?
>>
>>46255706
Agreed.

We probably ought to all introduce ourselves now, oughtn't we?
>>
>>46255706
They'd consider it boss poaching despite this being the fault of the damned bureaucrats at the office?
Fine, how about we work together to clean the rest of the dungeon and then we'll talk about how we'll split the reward.
>>
>>46255935
I agree with this plan.
>>
>>46255935
Lets try it.
We shouldn't give up at our job so easily. These creatures needs clearing.

[Other Guildmaster] That's pretty much it for this floor though. And I'm not risking my Adventurer License delving further down in this crappy dungeon.

>>46255862
Here. It was a big-ass rat with two rows of teeth.

>>46255864
I'd rather have my full share, to be honest.

>>46255873
You're right. I'm Guildmaster Lena, the gruffy looking guy is Mak
>>
QM said it would be a one-shot on twitter. Unless he changed his mind, I doubt we are meant to go through all the levels.
Surprise cegremo!
>>
>>46256085
Actually I feel like we could continue this if there is enough interest. Not once per week, but every once in a while.
>>
>>46256077
>And I'm not risking my Adventurer License delving further down in this crappy dungeon
No risk no reward! It's the way of life. It's their fault for messing up the paperwork, my licence won't be taken from their mistake.
>>
>>46256077
If you're not going down a level, my party will. Let's keep adventuring!
>>
>>46256141
In that case, I'm all in.
You keep surprising me QM.
>>
>>46256077
>And I'm not risking my Adventurer License delving further down in this crappy dungeon.
Wait, what? The request was to clear out the ENTIRE dungeon, not just the first floor.
Something ain't right here.
>>
>>46256141
Sounds like a plan.
>>
>>46256077
You can have fun with the walk back then. Me and my companions will continue our work here.

Unless you want to join us.
>>
>>46256077
Good point. We should go back.

Without license, no money. Without money, no food.

Okay, okay! Fine! We'll come with you, but if they fine us for Boss poaching I'm making you pay for my ticket.

Anyway we all need to rest for a bit.
>>
This is just step one, soon they will see the wisdom of our leadership and our guild will grow!

>>46256370
Sure, it's good to rest before each new level.

Since the second floor isn't finished we'll need to call this a night.

This was lot of fun! I think we could continue this quest, it felt like it had lots of potential. What do you think?

Making isometric dungeons is awesome, even if this one was fairly small.
>>
>>46256370
Fair enough. The next floor is going to be tougher than the last, so we should be ready for it.
>>
>>46256752
A THREAD EVERY WEEK FOR THE NEXT MONTH!
>>
>>46256752
Was pretty cool. Would play again.

How much time do you spend doing the art anyway? Do you do it on the spot or have some of it pre-drawn?
>>
>>46256752
Thanks cegremo.

Yeah, it was pretty great. You're doing things in a very interesting way, I would definitely follow this and grow the guild.

I like smaller things, NERV is too noisy sometimes
>>
>>46256752

Eria, Karen and the ''world'' map were already done. The dungeon was 60% done, but mostly looked like pic related. The rest was one the spot.

I should a prepped a bit more thought. It was a bit barebones.

Nerv Bridge Simulator on Tuesdays, Guildmaster Simulator on Fridays? Has there ever been a QM who ran two quests at the same time?

>>46256999
In my opinion NBS would be less fun without a touch of shitposting.
>>
>>46257256
Yes. Several. There have been QMs that ran up to five quests at a time. All of them weekly. As in: A session per weak. Each.
>>
>>46257256
>Has there ever been a QM who ran two quests at the same time?
I don't know about drawquests, but I can think of one who had 5 running at the same time for a while.

Yeah, pretty much.
But especially when said shitposting emphasizes the already ridiculous scenes in NBS
Case in point, pic related. Look familiar?
>>
>>46257336
>>46257354
What? Just running this plus NGS earlier this week was a lot of work, I can't imagine 5 quests. Give this man a medal.

>>46257430
The energy tendril gun was the high point of NBS. Nothing will ever come close.
>>
>>46257525
>Nothing will ever come close.
Not with that fucking attitude it won't

Also, if possible, try not to overwork yourself. If things get too stressful, just slow down a bit.
>>
>>46257525
Well. They weren't drawquests, so I guess it was a bit less work.
