"Well, we tail him, of course!" You whisper back, now genuinely curious. After all, Tank revealed so little about his personal life, it was just too tempting a chance not to take. You wait for Tank to board the elevator and the door to slide shut before striding forward. The guard at the checkpoint turns to begin to tell you off, but the built in IFF in your suit immediately signals to him your rank and he immediately stands to attention.

"H-how can I help you, Captain?" The guard stammers.

"Just some official business on the surface." You say simply with a slight grin. "That won't be a problem, would it?"

"No, no, of course not!" The guard shakes his head quickly and steps aside, letting you pass. You wave Amy and Elsa to follow you and you all board the second elevator car down.

Now, orbital elevator rides were not anything special, and were a pretty routine occurrence in your line of work. However, the only planet you've only really ever been on was Earth, and even though Eridanus was a mostly Earth-like planet, there were enough differences that it was just an amazing vista on first glance. Down below, you could see vast, sapphire blue oceans, with a pair of large emerald continents. There wasn't even a single indication of a desert or any dry spot. Eridanus' lushness was one of the reasons it was designated as the Accord's Frontier capital.

"Heh, gotta admit, it looks real nice from up here." Amy grins. "Wonder how it looks on the ground?"

"Well, the city itself probably wouldn't look too different from what we see on Earth." Elsa shrugs. "As the capital, Eridanus still enjoys regular contact with the civilized territories."

"Ah, so we still get flush toilets and not holes in the ground. Gotcha." Amy nods.

You snicker a bit at Amy's comment.

"Well, just remember, we're going down on official business, so no funny shenanigans, okay?"

"Okaaaaay." Both Amy and Elsa chime.

Damn, they were right. All you had now were suspicions, but you didn't really have any sort of foundation to pursue them on. Plus, they kinda outnumbered you 2-1 in here, so trying to get physical probably wouldn't end well.

Finally, the elevator car reaches the ground to the Station's dirtside facility. Like the Station above, the ground facility was an Accord military installation in all respects, though really it was just a glorified customs checkpoint to manage traffic to and from the Station. Even though Tank came down before you, you weren't that far behind, and already you caught sight of his massive bulk heading for the front doors, drawing the curious eyes of the passing facility personnel.

Thankfully, Tank doesn't seem to notice your TOTALLY INCONSPICUOUS TAILING of him. True, you were still in uniform and everything, but Tank was still in his armor and was attracting FAR more attention than you could ever achieve. Dozens of curious stares followed Tank that he either wasn't aware of, or just didn't care as he headed for his destination. It looked to be... some kind of store? Looked to a kind of mall or something. You glance at Amy and Elsa, who just shrug.

Well, you went all this way already...

You try to ignore all of the augmented reality "smart ads" that keep getting projected directly into your eyes. Everything from makeup, to fashion, and even idol concert tickets! Was nothing sacred anymore? There's so much holojunk clouding your eyes you actually almost lose track of Tank, up until you see him stop at what appears to be a toy store.

A toy store?

Well, Tank was kinda childish in his own ways, but you never figured he'd be THAT childish?

However, as he enters, line of sight is broken by the numerous shelves, as well as the crowd of children inside. If you wanted to get a closer look, well, you'd have to get a lot closer...

The clerk was clearly talking to Tank, but you couldn't really hear anything at this distance, so you creep a little closer...

Amy never has the chance to finish when you pull them forward and the push them right at Tank, the two of them stumbling forward and slamming right into his armored back.

And ever so slowly, Tank's head creaks around like a possessed doll in a horror story. He then fully turns around to tower over the now whimpering Amy and Elsa. You swear the optical lenses on his helmet narrow as he GLARES at them. You see him quickly but politely snatch a wrapped package and stuff it into his carrying pack before returning his attention to Amy and Elsa. He stares, wonder what the hell the two of them were doing here.

"We were here with the Cap! She led us out here!" Amy tries to explain.

You duck behind a shelf as Tank instinctively looks around to scan the shop, and then looks back at Amy, totally unconvinced.

"I'm not lying! Honest! She's here!"

"We're telling the truth!" Elsa blubbers.

Tank continues to glare at them. Of course they'd try to find a way to weasel out of this. They were just trying to say this to throw him off!

"But she's-"

Tank has clearly had enough of their whining, as he reaches down and grabs them both by the back of their collars. As Chief of Security, it was also part of his duties to administer discipline if it was required.

"But but DOUBLE STANDARDS!" Amy whines. "What're you doing out here!??!"

Obviously, he was on important, CLASSIFIED business, of which they were not.

But Tank has clearly had enough of this. With both girls still grabbed by the collar, Tank starts dragging them out of the store, much to the confusion of all of the patrons and to the elderly clerk's amusement.

You give a little smug wave to Amy and Elsa as they're dragged away, and they both give you poisonous glares but are powerless to really do anything. Tank continues to drag them away, attracting the attention of all the of pedestrians around them, wondering what the hell two grown women who were being dragged by a massive armored giant could possibly mean. Happily enough, Amy and Elsa's faces were redder than a sun going supernova.

You then quickly make your way back to the orbital elevator. With the dual load Tank was carrying, and his generally slow pace, it was a simple matter to beat him there. Then all you had to do was ride it up and return to the Gullinbursti.

You go the bridge and lean back in your command chair, a wide smile on your face.

"I take it something good happened, Captain?" Bradford asks as he passes by.

"Justice was served, Bradford." You say happily. "Justice was served."

"I see." Bradford nods. "I'm also getting reports that Amy and Elsa got thrown into the brig for 'unauthorized behavior.' Do you know anything about that?"

"Huh, no idea." You feign confusion. "I'll check it out later."

"Of course, Captain."

And that's when your comm beeps. You get a text message from Tank asking you meet him... at your quarters?!?!

What... what could he possibly want to meet you there instead of the bridge for?!

"Captain, are you all right?" Bradford frowns in concern.
