As a general guideline, if it is an action typically done in preparation for something else, such as making food so that you can then eat it or assembling a dresser so that you can store things on it, it will apply. But take that with a grain of salt. Something like "studying in preparation for a test" will not work as that's 1) not much of a physical change and 2) clearly an attempt to abuse that guideline.
It will make tipping over elaborate domino patterns really easy since you don't have to work to set them up, though.

Fluff: Rak'khan Vor'stramor was found abandoned at the doorstep of an abbey. When the priest looked at the baby, they understood why... Hunchback and deformed, the baby was obviously born of the unholy union of two lycanthropes. While the priests were understanbly divided by whether or not they should keep the baby, they finally agreed on keeping him on the condition that he doesn't exhibit any impure traits. The years passed and despite his difformity everybody could agree on the fact that Rak was shaping to be a colossus of great strength and resilience. However, contrary to what was expected he didn't express any interest for physical work, preferring to stay at the abbey to pray to Voldog. Of quiet disposition, Rak didn't like to talk and instead toiled both spiritually and physically. His life could have continued for long like this, but one fateful night he became feral for the first time. While he rampaged throughout the abbey, it was a miracle he didn't kill anybody and he found himself waking strangling a fellow monk. Horrified by what he had done, Rak could only beg at the Abbot to be taught magic in an effort to keep his wild side in check. The abbot accepted, but only if Rak would dedicate his powers to helping the people through any means possible. Fast forward a few years and Rak had matured to become a fine member of the abbey. He had also grown to supernatural proportions as a consequence of his lycanthropic heritance and his diligent studies in magic had allowed him to become a powerful mage. But now that he was grown up, Rak found that he disagreed with the stance of his Elders that found it better to stay in the abbey to help the needy. He felt as if it was his duty to go help the people that were beyond the range of the abbey. When he talked of his resolution to the Abbot, the old man answered that Rak didn't have anything that could allow him to adventure and that he couldn't let him go without any gear to die in the gutter.

Where there was once a meek apprentice who was afraid to speak now stood a dragon wreathed in steel. Before the Abbot could come see what was causing this commotion, he found that Rak was gone and all he could see was a glimpse of his silhouette in the horizon. Rak travelled to the nearest city and there, he took a chamber in a tavern until he could find anybody to work with him. Okay, so, there has been rumours around that I, Bliss, am making a new CYOA and it would be out in a week. This is false.

However, I am considering to make a new one but I am not yet decided about what. I have vague ideas, looked into making a superpower equivalent to my power armour CYOA, but none of them worked out yet. If I'm honest, I don't want to make a new CYOA by myself right now.

Android Artisen covers pretty much all the bases. Become an unaging-immortal android, change your body into whichever form you want, and almost completely eliminate biological needs (almost no food, probably no sleep, shelter optional).

As for the other two, the Romantic Knight+River of Time combo is my first impulse. The form change would be redundant, but I get to be the beloved returned princess with healing magic.

Other interesting options are Magic Meet and Greet+Unity Umbrella, Isolation Pod+REKT, and Liquid Silk. Since I won't be needing food or shelter really, the Pod and REKT aren't quite as useful as they should be, though they still make a pretty nice combination (especially due to being indestructible)

Still think I'll stick with the first choice though, I imagine trying to get the magical creatures to walk under my magic umbrella would come off as kinda creepy. Plus even being friends/romantic partners, it doesn't really automatically mean much.

Took a break from working on Dark City, threw this together.

At its originally 1600 pixel width, in PNG form it's too big to post on 4chan. In jpeg form it is under 8mb, but the quality is lower. In PNG form, it needs to be reduced to this resolution to fit on 4chan. Blurred out section at the bottom aside, would this be readable at this size? I'm not fond of it, but I'm not terribly happy with the lower quality JPEG results either.

Do you generally prefer reduced quality images or reduced resolution images, when a reduction has to occur?

When looking into the future you experience a problem. If you can look into the future then the future has only one outcome. The Ice Queen witnissing her own demise made her desperate, tyrranical. Which in turn caused her own people to turn on her, and thus she created her own demise herself.

As for the history of Eden, it is a adaptation of the biblical story of the garden of Eden. Adam, the first man, and Eve, the first woman, were the first sinners and cast out of god's paradise after eating forbidden fruit. There is also another legend of a woman named Lilith, said to be Adam's first wife. She was beautiful, seductive and very defiant .

The story in kingdom crusher is their return to these lands and tainting it. The land mimics that of a scorned lover: both to adam and god. The plants and the spices originates from the forbidden fruit: a testimony to the sin of all humans. I'll admit Eden wasn't easy.

Sort of, cut away everything from the webcomic and the biological core are the Nisetics. Part of the homestuck thing is that it interacts with the rest of the comic for comedic purposes, Nisetics meanwhile have a set history, and a set biology. Again, you have no idea how fucking difficult choosing just 3 were Beri. I really wanted Science Robot, Tech Support, Microverse Egg, Android Artisan, Rekt...

Anyway, Preparedness is an ok wish; it initially appears primarily limited by its two main restrictions; you have to know how to do the task and you can't conjure significant wealth out of nothing. So at first glance it's mostly just a comfy wish to help day-to-day activities - instantly do chores, instantly work out, instantly sleep, etc.

But that final line - "Causing your computer programs to load instantly" - grants the wish enormous application. All those brute-force searches that would take inconceivably long to complete? Instantly done. While the wording implies the potential incredible energy cost (universes worth) of such computation would be waved, I think in spirit it would break the inability to conjure wealth out of nothing restriction.

That's where the Isolation Pod comes in. It has an unlimited source of electricity. So I definitely have the materials and I apparently automatically know enough about programs to instantly load them.

I basically sit in my pad all day, receiving laughably resource intensive algorithms by wifi, spamming the instant load power. For science.

River of Time is to simply bring many male wizards over to our world, eventually giving magic to all of humanity's descendants. I was initially going to go with Rekt for perpetual energy output without ever opening the door (ensuring humanity can forever survive off its output even after the rest of the universe has died), but A.) The pad can also be used for perpetual energy and B.) Magic is a unique bonus to our universe that Rekt cannot give.

You're stuff is hard to read anyway so it makes little difference, mostly due to the effects you put around the text that make it all blurry. This one is more legible then many of your past works and looks good.

This size is fine and you should probably be working in that size anyway. I bet your pdf files are like 500 megs or more.

What compression were you using on the png? Usually you can get away with only about 5-10% being compressed to really reduce the image size without messing with the text or images.

The point system in this one is really weird. To take the bare minimum, you start at 31 points - so you really only have 19 to play with. Atmarr takes 13 of those, otherwise it'd be a fun choice.

Also, Jai + Loa is a mug's game when you have Lahkshe. True unlimited reincarnation, as well as the ability to see the entire past and astrally project? And it's cheaper than the more traditional immortality? Easy choice. Add that to Dama and Saetra, and I'm now literally omniscient, at least as it relates to the past. Seeing as I more than anyone have a chance to kill all of the major threats I couldn't figure a good enough reason as to why I shouldn't try. I was unable to find a good picture but I imagine a rather attractive, soft and lightly colored human looking individual due to the mix of races they would be who has colorless mana burns on the right side of their face that reaches back to their ear. Probably on the average to taller side wielding their golden staff that brims with the mana stored inside it wearing modest but common clothes and maybe a satchel or two wherever it would be the most comfortable. The staff while remarkably golden only having the shape of two rods twisted together around its core like a tree branch forming a sort of large and heavy walking stick.

Certainly took me long enough to come up with this build. I've been contemplating it since this all was first posted. While I adore luck stats they kill me inside.

Can I just say that I think this is a really dumb method of creating a CYOA? I mean it's great to convey that your power level isn't "locked in" and can grow as you go with the setting, but giving set rewards that only happen AFTER you complete various challenges just doesn't work for character building in a CYOA. The CYOA is a jumping-off point for the setting, everything after that is completely uncertain.

Sorry I think you have me confused. I'm not the person who screwed up their build, I know how it works (or more accurately, how it DOESN'T work). I'm just complaining about that aspect of the design.

I'd much rather have a selection of extra bonuses that add challenges, rather than challenges that add bonuses if they are accomplished. For example, say there's an option that says you stole some money, the money is now usable for your build, but you will have to deal with the law as a result. This is much better in CYOA terms than the reverse, having to track down a dangerous bandit and receiving a monetary reward for doing so.

Romantic Knight, because I get to be his princess and awwwwwwww. I'm all about the husbando option.

River of Time, because then I get to go away to his own world which is a much better setting for me to be a magical princess madly in love with a brave knight. There'd be too many questions asked if we tried to make our home here - why am I suddenly a girl, who is this man, what's this about magic... In his world people will be OK with a knight going away on a quest and coming back with a princess to be his bride, it's only expected. Then I can be his pretty waifu and nobody will know me as anything different.

Preparedness, because instant completion of tasks is an amazing additional power. I might not always use it, though. It's romantic to personally take the time over my outfit and my makeup so as to be the most lovely princess for my handsome knight...

God, I hadn't even thought of that.
How selfish of me - I was busy thinking how nice it'd be I could be ready in seconds, I failed to think of how romantic it is to spend so much time picking out the perfect outfit.

So normally I try to make a good guy in CYOA, so for a change of pace I will try for an amoral slaver.

Giant Scorpion x 3 - 18 pts (one to ride personally with my pet dryad, two to transport the harpy cages and for general clawing and fighting)

Dryad - 19 pts (my personal "assistant" though I'm open to a good offer for her)

Siren - 20 pts (who I'm a little leery of, but is just way to useful for subduing random monsters we find in our travels to add them to our cargo. I'd probably treat her better than most of my stock to keep her onside)

Shriver - 18 pts (to be my personal bodyguard amd muscle)

Livia + 30 points (If things get too bad I'll cut loose some of my stock to distract her and run, I can always get more slaves but I've only got one life. Maybe I can work out a deal with her? Buy from me has to be easier than fighting through my scorpion caravan).

So I travel the land with a scorpion train of exotic harem slaves that I can sell to discerning (high paying customers) in the big cities, then if I run into any monsters in the field my siren can put them to sleep for my scorpions to restrain and carry. Bling bling, money ain't a thing.
