>>45970382
Maybe.
Beholders are already super-racists, so one just approaching the humans might already be kind of open-minded. Or, it could get triggered by someone who has furry eyebrows and play super laser tag with the entire village.
>>45970012
>>45970460
This is kind of off topic, but your post reminded me of a setting I once played where all of the paladins in the entire 'lawful good holy religious faction' wore super heavy armor which they never took off, and they never spoke once. They were revealed to be warforged in disguise that fed off of human worship in order to grow in strength and planned to eventually take over the land, and thus our BBEG was revealed. The GM and our party's paladin played along with each other and the pally was a 'malfunctioning' warforged paladin who believed he was a human and decided to join the party, although his race was listed as 'human' until the big reveal.

need to have at least one normal guy that realizes that all of the party members are monsters but doesn't say anything for fear they'll kill him so he won't reveal their secrets.
This is so much my God damned last Pathfinder group. I played a human fighter who was only ever concerned about making gold to make ends meet. Our party was a kobold, kitsune, wereboar, air elemental and then my human. The second everyones disguises failed and he realized that everyone was polymorphed or disguised or using some bullshit illusions he was absolutely furious. Then he realized that everything suddenly made sense because he was constantly being used to stand behind by the rest of the party, they kept handing him money to buy things on their part when they could've just walked a few feet from some random corner they were hiding in.Then the party found out that he was actually a human and couldn't believe it. The rest of the game was the party trying to guess what his disguise or real form was. They brought up so many secrets and things he wanted to stay buried in his past in the process... The wereboar still doesn't believe it.
