Tzeentch, which I can guarantee almost nobody on /tg/ would channel, is all about being on top of whatever social or political structure you're in.

And you channel Khorne if you're either too much about honor and duty or are constantly trying to get STRONK AS FUCK to prove yourself.

I have literally based the majority of my philosophies on life and meaning on the Cult Mechanicus.

I've spent an inordinate amount of time over the last year studying and re-interpreting any and all lore related to the Adeptus Mechanicus/Mechanicum.

I'd argue it's the opposite - Tzeentch inspires hope because he gives you the power to make your own destiny and succeed on your own terms to the best of your ability. You may be a pawn, but you are a pawn with an illusion of freedom. Most of the Thousand Sons sorcerers have their own goals, or hunt down lore to give themselves more power for other reasons.

Nurgle makes you feel as if you are simply part of a larger whole, and there is no way that you can change how things are. You despair because you've fallen from some grace, and Nurgle takes the pain away from that wound to some degree in making you his servant, comforting you by making your own pain feel insignificant as part of the larger scale. Servants of Nurgle really only want to spread Nurgle's gifts, and don't have any drive of their own.

Probably Khorne. I'm seriously too much into honor and all about brutal efficiency in all things. I always push myself to do everything I set myself too and get super obsessive over it. Eventually murder comes next I guess. Other than that Tzeentch, since I can be super subversive if I have to and I'm always trying to work my way to the top, playing the games of the workplace and such. Plus warp magic is cool and so is the constant desire for knowledge.

- All people are afraid of disease, rot and death, yet they are inevitable. Instead of wasting life-time avoiding it, I embrace it, granting me strength.
- Grandfather is kind and generous god to his followers. I can hail to that.
- chasing beauty, riches, knowledge and escaping destiny are always made futile by inevitable demise. Beauty will always fade, people grow sick and old. Riches and gold are in the end, meaningless. Knowledge is rendered useless, when you grow mad seeking it. Everybody is destined to die, everything is going to rot away, fading away. Only embracing that will give you peace, make you free.
- Body is just a vessel, to carry your spirit trough this plane of existence. Why let sickness and injury destroy it, while you can become indestructable when sickenss refreshes you and injuries are meaningless. Body is just for spreading decay in the name of Grandfather.

Nurgle is more about small cycles: death/life/death, for instance, or the water cycle - you're never going to get something different, it's all been done before. Tzeentch is about actual change: alchemy, chaos theory, that sort of stuff - your final product has almost nothing to do with your initial input, but you're almost certain to never get the same result ever again.
Therefore, renewal falls firmly within Nurgle's portfolio - it's a return to initial conditions, and nothing has actually changed permanently.

I handled more ethics and general compliance. You'd think it was a joke (I did at first) but municipalities like my former city paid just under a million dollars of tax payer money to a private contractor to facilitate diversity training.
