Is there a utility equivalent of warmage?

Swiss Army Mage.

Or in other words, the Swissard.

Any real classes?
Journeymage?

If we're talking D&D, Beguiler is the Warmage but with illusion/charm spells.

There used to be a Lovemage class, but it sounded too slutty.

This one?

I was just making a pun off "journeyman" and "mage", but that looks like an enjoyable enough homebrew class. Tier 3, high tier 4 maybe.

But Beguiler is part of 3.5, which is not a part of D&D. D&D is a wonderful game and it does not deserve to be tainted with that brush. Same with 4e. Note that I said 4e, not D** 4e. Because 4e is not D&D and neither is 3.5.
5e on the other hand is a wonderful, nearly flawless game and fully deserves to be called D&D, but those other two abominations do not and recognizing them as such means you are part of the problem.

assuming D&D
>5e: Bard
>3.PF: Bard, Beguiler, Occultist
>2e: Fighter-Mage
>OD&D: Cleric, Elf

Nobody mentioned 4e you autist. You should cut off your hands before you ruin any more threads with your edition hate
>>44720974
Bards are really close to what I'm looking for, but they're not full casters and they're focused so much on trickery
>>44721116
Bards are fullcasters in 5E

>being this autistically pretentious

Oh, ignore him, he's just trying to start yet another edition war thread and failing badly.

Yes, it's what a lot of people do, since it's the version that's in print now. What about it?
