I really had a question I was going to ask last thread, but it was dead when I got to it. And now I can't remember it. Great.

Is Hermaeus Mora the most powerful of the daedric princes or does he just happen to be seemingly omnipotent and nearly omniscient due to being the prince of forbidden knowledge and so forth and/or because he is the most mysterious?

Always triggers me desu. Power is relative and comes in many shapes and forms. There's really no way to measure it and start ranking the Daedra or Aedra.

He seems pretty in character, Telvanni are jerks, and dislike both Religion and Politics. A small joke in Morrowind was how the Temple in the Telvanni district in Vivec is used for storage, and is covered in cobwebs.

Wizards in general have always had a detached outlook on divinity and better understanding of the metaphysical than common folk, stretching back to Daggerfall.

Not quite. It is a bit of that, but it would also be really weird to have Morrowind and not have him or any of his writings. I would be more pissed if he didn't make it into the game.

Well seeing as he refused to be on the Telvanni Council, and never partakes in the Houses' politics, I think it is quite clear that Divayth does not take House Telvanni very seriously.
Fyr really doesn't seem like the man to take much of anything seriously for that manner. The guy collects treasures for the pure enjoyment of watching thieves fail to steal it. He would probably laugh at someone who so surly tries to argue the semantics behind "Good Daedra".

Divayth Fyr doesn't have writings, at least before ESO that is. The man clearly doesn't like drawing attention to himself, he's practically a hermit. A few brief mentionings in writings would of course be warranted to acknowledge the fact that he still exists, but this http://www.imperial-library.info/content/racial-motifs is really not a correct usage of his character.
ESO doesn't even feature Vvardenfell so an actual appearance is really not called for until they do. I rather hope they don't as most things that actually find themselves featured in the game tend to be woefully disappointing.

Just because something appears physically disconnected does not mean they are not attached to the whole. What do you think is meant when something is "bound" to a daedra?
It is not true that the Daedra are incapable of creation, rather they refuse to partake in it.

Keep in mind that Daedric artefacts tend to be mundane items altered and manipulated by the Princes, or at least that's the form they take.
Spellbreaker is a Dwemer shield.
The Ebony Mail is just that, a ebony cuirass.
Volendrung is a Dwemer mace.
The Oghma Infinium was written by Xarxes.

In Oblivion I played a bad-tempered middle-aged Bosmer monk from a coastal village in Valenwood. I liked the character a lot but since RP in OB is limited and hand-to-hand is shit, it didn't work out so great.
