Oh hey, I can use Harvest moon to make sure my cook is actually good at cooking, and then make her even better at cooking in Wakfu where I propose to Eve with the blue feather and start a fucking nightmare of drama from all sides, providing many laughs to jumpchan

I accidentally started a harem, send help

Alright, so - we all know how Mantling works in The Elder Scrolls - walk like them until they must walk like you.

Let's say I wanted to make Mantling work in other universes, on other kinds of beings - even teach my Companions and such how to do it. How am I supposed to pull that off?

Gif unrelated. I hope.

No no no, you misunderstand, I have meta-knowledge of who she's supposed to marry, but I showed up before their love really became a thing, she doesn't really feel anything for Dally yet, and now probably won't, unless I find a way to bring him with me

Isn't the Wakfu jump during the time of the MMO, not the show? So like, tenish+ years before the show begins? Our favourite sexual tyrannosaurus is still a baby in the MMO, and the other party members besides Ruel are probably not exactly of romancable age yet.

Please don't touch the underage elf.

The Fifth Jump, Wakfu:
Origin: Drop-In, Age 12
Location: Astrub
Race: Eliatrope
Skills: Wilderness Survival, Willpower, Smithing, Cooking, Sailing
Gear: 100,000 Kamas, Treasure Map
Drawbacks: Smug Duck

I spend 2 years following the map, presumably we find our way to our goal before those 2 years are up. If not, that gets put on hold, when Nox hits the village, I'll be there, with my barriers. 10 years in the world of one piece taught me said barriers can stop concepts as easily as canonfire, so I make a barrier against time, fuck you Nox I can do that too. me and my gang of pirates (there are at least two rogues and a panda in my crew) offer to join them on their adventure to find Yugo's real parents. During that time I become fast friends with them all, and at the end of the adventure/10 years, I present them my own blue feather, a sign of our eternal friendship, if they would accept it, we could travel worlds unbelievable to our minds at this current moment. and away we go! I realized the "proposal" need not be a marriage proposal, at least from my understanding, so it's all good, I just have to eventually find a way to get a threesome with them.
>>
>>44399635
The point was for it to be a marriage one.
>>
>>44399656
>Blue Feather: This is no ordinary blue feather, not only is it used to propose to that special someone in your life, if they say yes they also become a companion of yours, allowing them to travel with you after the 10 years are up
Doesn't explicitly say marriage, so I choose to interpret it as "you can use this on special people in your life to make them companions" a little bit fanwanky, but eh, that's not the end of the world.

There isn't a generic wasteland jump, although if it takes some cues from the generic zombie apocalypse jump and adds in a lot of scenarios and perturbations, I'd be interested in jumping it.

Sadly, that seems like it's on the wrong side of the work/reward divide.

It's kind of hard to imagine long term jumpers being any different, though.

Every ten years, the only consequences that remain are those you inflict on yourself. You could spend the entire decade vivisecting kittens and as long as you're okay with those memories, the new universe is none the wiser.

And you can't even rely on outside reinforcement to keep you on the straight and narrow- the sense of right and wrong is not only going to change to some degree every jump, often it's going to be absolutely retarded. A lot of jumps might as well be the Sword of Truth for all that you'll actually be challenged as to what the right thing is- if you're the protagonist, you kind of determine it all for yourself.

TL;DR worlds where a jumper leaves 5,000 shotguns just lying around are probably getting off lucky.

I mean, Bancho-Anon might show up. And he genuinely believes his "I thought about this for less than five minutes" solutions are categorically morally correct.
>>
>>44400599
Why..why would you vivisect kittens for 10 years
>>
>>44400851

So I adopted my Initiator in Black Bullet as little sister/daughter-like child/apprentice. Anyone else have kids/siblings (adopted or not) that come along with you in jumps?

Also it was difficult finding cute clothes for her as she was growing up. I kinda ushered forth the apocalypse, by destroying all of civilization (took Lucy's offer). It took like 30 years. I introduced the vaccine in the water supplies of each major city. Then when I knew most were immunized, I plagued the cities with Apollo's Plague Arrows (Age of Mythology) that were multipled to 10 plage arrows by the Ichaival bow.

The cursed children being immune to diseases would be unaffected (if not I'll probably get most them out the cities before hand. In that case it'll take probably at most a decade longer). Destroying the major cities was easy. Hunting down the little towns, that was the most time consuming.

Afterwords the surviving few Cursed Children that remained followed me to Slice of Life. Where they get to experience living, instead of surviving.

So for the Assassin's Creed jump, armored vestments, it says "free import" is that "this item is free for all imports" or "this is a typo ignore this"
>>
>>44401710
When I built it I was a cheapskate and used my old power supply. A power surge later and my motherboard was fried. I've been without it since September which is why Ben 10 has been held up. I've gotten most of what I needed to finish completed on this computer and once I get mine back I'll fuse the two documents. After I do that it'll just need a bit of polish and it should be good to go.

There's a little bit in Dishonored. You can pick up themes in both Skullgirls and Smite. Girl Genius has some steampunk-esque science. Portal has an option to pick a crazy field of study, you might be able to use this to cover a missing link in your tech tree.

Speaking of which, things like the Tech Tree from Civilization could help working out the next step in your steam powered tech tree. You can almost certainly put some things from Worm to use, including Path to Making The Best Steampunk Gear With The Tools On This Table.

The Dwemer in Elder Scrolls use some magic-esque semi-steampunk things, and you could learn something from no end of individual steampunk items scattered throughout your chain.

Hope some of this helps.

Jumpers have you ever made a grave mistake of attracting the attention of all the wrong people?

I've had 3 notable ones during my time. One was during shadowrun garnering Lofwyr's attention.By accidentally giving him sci-fi tech low quality sure but far more advanced then anything in that setting at the time and learned that I was FAR ahead of the curb technology wise. Dragon politics are hell on earth I actually spent my time in charge of a megacorperation during that time being the most well known metahuman friendly great dragon

The other was during bayonetta where I managed to gain well...Bayonetta's attention. She said I would make a cute summon after I smacked some of her more powerful summons away from eating my lumen sage companion. She called on me to take care of one of her rogue summons during the events of 2 and temporarily acted as her summon during that time too. Being covered in magical hair is super fucking weird man never again.

The last was a two for one special. It happened in TES where I fist fought Dagon And lost and strapping Molag Bal in his own chair and teasing him about it. THEY BOTH STILL WANT REMATCHES AND I'M DAGON'S CHOSEN CHAMPION.
Pic very much related.

We will of course cause mass destruction and maybe Yugo will learn of the horrors of murder, but it's too late to change that, onward to adventure!

BLOODY SPIRALS, THIS IS WHY WE CAN'T HAVE NICE THINGS
>>
>>44402097
>Steampunk suggestions for my chain go, no holding back.
Obviously Girl Genius is a must. Thief, Spyro TLSS, Bloodborne's got some stuff, Minecraft...kinda depends how far you stretch your definition.

>Also steampunk settings for jump creation go, again no holding back.
Terminal World, Unhallowed Metropolis, Empire of Corpses, surprised we don't have a Malifaux jump yet, The Difference Engine, Infernal Devices (the novel by KW Jeter, not the graphic novels which I have no idea about)...again, depends how far you're willing to stretch your definitions.
>>
>>44402188
>Cutting a deal with a dragon

Spyro, you messed up one the core principles of being a Shadowrunner. "Watch your back, shoot straight, conserve ammo, and never, ever, cut a deal with a dragon."
>>
>>44402384
Especially if you are also a dragon.
>>
>>44402384
He's not the only one, I did the same. It was fun.
>>44402188
Literally all the time, but I do it on purpose.
>>
>>44402403
They never forget. You slight them in the tiniest of ways, they'll remember that. So when a dragon comes knocking on your great-great grandkid's door. You'll be to blame. Worse when you're a dragon, and around others you have to tip toe your way through any social interaction.
>>
>>44402097
Oh, you were taking settings to make that had steampunk? Can't forget about Arcanum.
>>
>>44402384
Ah, yes, but he kept to the core principles of being a Jumper: "Make shitloads of bargains, loans, pacts and contracts, with 11 year payback delays."
>>

Rise of Nations Rise of Legends would be cool to see. Might have been clockwork though.

It was one of the few exchanges I kinda won really. As I wound up one of the dominating forces in the setting. Where anything I did was considered pretty major.
Bayonetta ended up bullying me most of that jump because I was too scared to say no and she knew it constantly teasing me about it.

Shadowrun was one of the few jumps where I spent it being not stupid. The one other jump I did that was during SCP [Where I unleashed the full extent of my mary sue and it barely served me well].

Being dead serious is boring sometimes. I prefer being the funny goofball. Sure it nearly gets me killed but in the end it all worked out right?

Are there any types of perks that you absolutely refuse to take, even if they're being offered for free?

>Shadowrun was one of the few jumps where I spent it being not stupid.

>Giving Lofwyr hyper-advanced technology.
>Making tremendous waves in the international community of dragons.

>not being stupid.
>>
44402719
I thought you were making a hammer time reference to be honest
>>
>>44402779
Anon's referencing Tales of Xillia 2. One of the major driving forces of the plot is that you are in a hideous amount of debt.
>>
>>44402670
There are a few jumps with drawbacks that include "Guys from previous jumps show up (probably as your enemies)" so it *is* within the realm of possibility. You'd have to pick it, but still.
>>
>>44402810
I was also referencing Super Robot Wars Z2, where the main character is driven into a conflict of gundams and super robots and other things... because of his massive amount of debt, which keeps coming back no matter how much it gets paid off. Hence why both characters in question are in the second picture
>>
>>44402772
>making a deal with a dragon and coming out ahead, let alone alive

I'd say it worked out halfway well for him.

Well relatively. I ended up being his rival corporation...things got complicated with everyone asking for my favor/help. Lofwyr trying his best to get more tech off of my person. Him spending time with me really changed him as a erm...dragon. Became more emotional and irrational as time went on. I even helped him a few times. It kinda turned into a romantic comedy at times when we where together for extended periods.

I know for the most powerful Telekinetic abilities I should stack them, but what's the single most powerful Telekinetic perk I can get? Most powerful in this case just being 'what can lift the biggest/most thing/s'?
>>
>>44403260
Supernatural telekinesis scales with your muscular strength, which is helpful since there are a lot more heavy duty strength perks than kinesis perks
>>
>>44403260
From a raw energy standpoint psychodiver in Super Robot Wars might be a good investment. You might need a T-Link system to give it the right direction but im sure miniturization really isnt a problem these days

https://youtu.be/drqwk49Qqpk?t=1m54s
>>
>>44400915

Is there a second edition of GtT?
>>
>>44403345
So cho aniki jump and that perk = mega telekinesis
>>
>>44403399
No, and last I heard Moochava hasn't released a God Machine update and doesn't plan on it in the near future (although he does have some extra content like new variables he could add after it's all playtested). He has told people to go ahead and convert it themselves if they want, but that it wouldn't be a "canon" conversion. Only a fan version.
>>
>>44403345
While very good, and I certainly intend to take it, it does require an investment of strength perks.

Any other ideas on what perk let's you telekinetically move the most stuff?
>>
Don't know what's the best, but you could take Kinesis+Strength in Marvel Comics for telekinesis that could lift "up to five tons with just a little effort" at a cost of 400cp, and you could keep stacking Strength on it at 100cp a pop.
>>
>>44404037
You cannot continue stacking the same perk in a combo in the Marvel jump. You can buy it multiple times for different combos but not the same.

Without reading through all the jumps, I'd say becoming an Alpha-class psyker from 40k or Light Of Terra...but that's spending the cp to upgrade the "ordinary" psyker perk.
If you can get to being an "Alpha-Plus", you can "snap a Battle Titan in half with a flick of the wrist" according to the wiki, and a Warhound titan is 410 tons...though that's probably not the lift strength, and I'm not exactly sure how far below 'Alpha-plus' vanilla 'Alpha' is.

Or, take Force Sensitive from any Star Wars jump - Yoda lifts the X-wing from the swamp, and going off the weight of a similarly sized fighter jet, that could be 5 tons (but may be a bit more, since the weight is never specified and an X-wing doesn't have to worry as much about aerodynamics and mass as a real fighter jet does).

Or maybe Ki Potential and Basic Training from DBZ. That's limited only by your 'potential'. 4cp for the ability to (possibly) move mountains? Best bang for your buck ever.
>>
>>44404106
Oh wait it caps at Krillin level, nevermind.
>>
>>44404106
DBZ is an end jump man, no point suggesting it. Sides, power scaling puts it way above mere mountains anyway.

Phew, finally back and-time to post the Spiral Knights build

Drawbacks: Elite Mode, Bullet Hell, The Swarm (1400)

Trojan

Leviathan (Free)
Bulwark (1300)
Core Competence (900)
Guardian Set (Free)
Guardian Shield (Free)
Alchemy M. (700)
Ritual Book (500)
Love Puppy (300)
Warmaster (0)
Spiral Exchange (Free)

Like many worlds, this is one where we're out of our depth. Certainly, it would be unbecoming to associate too closely with the colonials beyond covertly dropping some perpetual energy machines nearby with the obligatory "don't go starting shit with this" magical contracts that come with using them. But apparently the Core is holding something called the Sleeper which is being hunted by the Swarm. And Bad Things will happen if the Swarm get to 'nid up the poor sod.

So, to that end.

Endless Recycling!
Sohon and other nanofriends!
Glorious Repairs!
Reload!
Cyberdidact!

With these powers combined, we are Captain Technology. And we are basically going to ignore everyone in order to fix everything with the most modded Medi-Gun ever.

Well, that and play the most brutal of tower defence games against the Swarm while giving them the ol' Mystic Eyes treatment. If they are truly infinite, well...we've always wondered what might happen were we to combine our EX rank Noble Phantasm with Elodie's.
>>
>>44404116
Frieza does some pretty impressive stuff along the same lines of 'picking giant things up', and Krillin eventually does get stronger than him. Pre-Battle of F anyway. On the other hand, anybody with a brain in the DBZ jump is using other perks to break that shit limit, like soft cap, cybernetics, or splicing perks. Or all three. But yeah, what >>44404118 said.
>>
>>44404126
Are you going to send them a strongly worded letter to change their name to something other than Spiral Knights, at the least?
>>
>>44404127
Battle of F totally fucked with everyone's power levels. Any of the Z fighters should have been able to slaughter those half assed (As admitted even in the movie) soldiers with ease, even if they hadn't been training much by that point.
>>
>>44404126

>>
>>44404106
>and I'm not exactly sure how far below 'Alpha-plus' vanilla 'Alpha' is.
Alpha-plus is less a specific power level and more "the scale no longer applies." Couple that with differing disciplines...

>>44404142

>>
Well okay if DBZ's off the table...I don't suppose you could reality marble super telekinesis powers? Or make it a Stand? Or telekinesis as your Mysterious! power from One Punch?
I'm not familiar with the limits of any of those things so not sure how those would stack up.
>>
What would be a better weapon type for a compact weapon meant to deal with force users and lightsaber wielders, lasers (Xcom and Fallout lasers) or mass accelerators (rail and coil guns)?
>>
>>44404208
>Telekinesis in OPM
Definitely a thing. A pretty prominent character is all about it.
>>
>>44404211
As HK47 said, you don't go after a Jedi with guns. That's for morons. You use traps, explosives, trickery, and cunning. You use your brain.

That said, a weapon made out of cortosis or one of the other anti-lightsaber materials (quality varies, most is worse but I think some super rare shit is better than cortosis) is your best bet for stopping their weapon should you be afraid of getting your own.
>>
>>44404225
Thing is, HK47 said than in a world where true laser weapon's don't exist.
From what has been shown, the blaster, at its best, is moving only as fast as a hangun round.
>>
>>44404240
Jedi also don't move based on their own reflexes, they move how a mystical omni-present force tells them.

Also real lasers do exists in Star Wars. Just not as common for some reason.
>>
>>44404211
Probably the laser. Light sabers can block blaster shots because their containment fields can repel charged particles as easily as they can keep them inside. Using a laser instead of a plasmoid should make it pass through the saber. Granted, it would still lose energy in the process from interacting with the plasma in the blade, but it would have a better shot that a blaster would.
>>
>>44403778
Last suggestion for now: AT field Mastery from NGE. Grants you advanced AT field functions, which includes:
>Lifting Field: You may use your AT field to lift objects, or push and pull them in relation to you. This action takes a moment of concentration however. You can lift things as big as you/your Eva with moderate effort. Larger things take much more time and concentration.
>>
>>44404273
Gonna be real surprised when he goes up against someone who isn't fully invested only in a defensive school.
>>
>>44404211
Best idea is to use attacks too big for the lightsabre to block, too fast for the Jedi to dodge unless they're moving to do so before you fire, and with fast enough aim correction and fire rate to blast them out of the air if they do manage to dodge your first shot by virtue of having not been in the way when you fired.

Giant lasers should work fine. If you have a bunch of drones with machine guns that can all fire at once you can probably overwhelm them pretty easily too, though they may use the force to make a drone or two hit some of its allies, crush a drone or two, and/or throw drones at other drones. Numbers are your best bet, and part of how they were killed at the start of the Clone Wars (and betrayal, but I think quite a few detected the betrayal through the force (too late to stop it, of course) and were overwhelmed by numbers rather than taken out by sneak attacks).
>>
>>44404275
Ooh, that is a good one. Thanks Myr.

I was thinking of making a generic conspiracy theory Jump, a world where basically every conspiracy you can find on /x/ is real: illurminati, chem trails, jews did it, hallow earth etc.

Do we have something like this? do you think it could be a good jump?
>>
>>44404402
Silver would burn you only if you're an in-setting shapeshifter, iirc any contact with silver burns, you could probably get around it by wearing gloves or wrapping the handle but personally I wouldn't risk it. As for the electromaster powers they'd probably ruin most monsters' day, but as for Angels and Demons it'd just damage their vessle, and since they can keep their vessle moving after fatal wounds it probably wouldn't even be noticable unless you zapped them so hard that they exploded or nailed them with a railgun.
>>
>>44404513
Better off making a Secret World jump, that at least has a setting to it.
>>
>>44404513
Illuminatus would be a good setting for that
>>
>>44404513
It could be fun, potentially, but you'd need to field a crap ton of conspiracy theories into the jump itself, because there's a lot of us that just don't pay attention to that shit and would have no idea what kind of conspiracies is "basically every conspiracy". I'm sure it's a shitload, but I wouldn't know anything about it.
Might be better to take those other anons' suggestions and just go to an established setting with a shitload of conspiracies already running.
>>
>>44404225
Well, guns almost universally mean blasters in the SW verse. Slow throwers can fire more rounds and faster, so if you went that route you could hunt Jedi.
>>
>>44404527
wasn't someone already working on a secret world jump? and that's a bit different from what i had in mind

organs.

I've made a point to only use my power of dominance on things I don't trust to stay dead Those who Feel justified in committing atrocities due to their religious beliefs,So I've got At least Father Alexander Anderson,Father O'Malley-O'Connel-O'Carrol-O'Reilly-O'Brian-O'Sullivan, (who is also Italian) ,And a Brethren moon,Stored away.

Then There is the retainers,Who despite their Incompetence are Almost To damn powerful For Anyone's good,I imported them regularly and Kirby was A much earlier jump.

As for my companions
There is also the Layer of the tower dedicated to the zurg hive,RJ has Pack of uplifted chrome hounds,Mother box has a fair amount of Monsters They can summon Due to being just about every kind of Magic user at once,Tina has all those loaders And Has Merica Which I've upgraded in God of war To summon Bald eagles As her second gun in addition to that big as her bazooka That switches between a custom explosive elemental Norfleet And Wolfpack Gjallarhorn

Leonardo Da Vinci is The supervisor of the manufacturing facilities on the ACU upgraded LoT and I took the science database stuff from super robot wars,Which has a Aeon Experimental Resource Generator, and the Dalek eye Of harmony onboard so She has Access to all the Autonomous giant robots anyone Could ever possibly want.

You can and do routinely see blaster rounds traveling in SW media. You need stop motion cameras to watch firearm rounds travel.

>>
>>44404967
I feel like there was some perk that specifically gave you armor while you were rocking out, but I can't remember.
Otherwise you could link up sound waves to some kind of repulsion field.
You know I bet the 90s Science perk from Street Sharks would be great for making something like that.
> Deflecting attacks with the power of music, cuz your sound waves are so intense!
>>
>>44404877
For ships I'd probably say sheets of good old adamantium, or whichever variant is most durable these days. Building a mesh of vibranium through the sheets would also help, ensuring the ship doesn't get crushed by its own armor if it takes a big hit.

Personal armor you're looking at mythril and orichalcum for most of it, because that stuff is usually light, with some adamantium plates over vital areas and as shin and forearm guards and again a vibranium mesh.

Mechas I don't really know, possibly the same sort of thing as the personal armor.
>>
Let's say that somehow you replace your body with meteoric iron, down to even the atoms or something crazy. Basically your entire physical existence is hand forged cold iron that hasn't been magicked or lost its power, and it's backed up by perks like Magic Must Defeat Magic (so the Fae can't just melt you or something). Generally you're really intelligent and clever as your main power, and your body is extremely hard to destroy. Basically you're almost impossible to harm with magic, trickery, and brute force for this hypothetical example. You have a lot of perks like the one from Princess Bride that allows you to recognize the breaking points of a story to make you really hard to kill with Talecrafting.

Your mind is somehow secure. This is probably one of your last Jumps ever. You can't just be mind controlled into undoing everything. You're essentially impossible to tempt away from your goals. If I'm forgetting any technicalities like those, you're safe from them.

You also stacked some bullshit such that you can attack with the cold iron somehow, and you have perks like the one from Generic Virtual World to eat invincibile defenses. No this isn't to kill Gentry, it's just so nobody tries to stick you in a box you can't punch through or something like that for the sake of the example. Your offense is equally dangerous.

Then you Jump Changeling, pick drop in and decide NOT to be a Changeling despite the drawbacks. You leave your warehouse sealed with the shield that prevents entry and you take no companions. Basically you have no moving parts to fuck around with.

The Wyrd conspires to get you into Changeling affairs anyway. What the hell is that going to look like? Will you be wandering the Hedge and the dead realms of Arcadia alone, because fucking nobody wants to be within twenty feet of you? Used as a pawn in some of the most dangerous Legends of all time? Be utterly hated by everyone and represent the tarot card of the Devil or Tower like a Fae Clockstopper?

>>
>>44405067
I hate pedophiles too, but this thread has nothing to do with them.
>>
>>44405015
For protection I don't think you can go better than Proto Admantium (the stuff Cap's shield is made of), if you can figure out how to make it I think it still stands as pretty much the best possible straight defensive material in any popular fiction.
>>
>>44405216
To get said material You have to do the original marble jump and then pick almost Any item + Admantium X+Vibranium X
>>
>>44405426
>You have to do the original marble jump and then pick almost Any item
Power armor should be enough, though i wonder how you can get the recipe to make adamantium, the U.S. Government should have the version used for Wolverine, the one used for Captain america shield should be lost according to the wiki
>>
>>44404877
You're going to want a multi-layer defense. No single material is going to do everything you need for armor. You need a lot of different physical properties to defend against the full range of modern weapons, many of them mutually exclusive, it's only going to get worse once you throw in sci-fi weapons technology. So the ideal armor is made of multiple sandwiched layers, so that even if one is penetrated the rest will be fine. You're going to want a layer of thermal superconductor to prevent heat building up in any one spot, a layer of thermal insulator to prevent heat penetration, a super-hard layer to prevent penetration from kinetic weapons, a low-density layer to stop shaped charge jets, a shock-absorbing layer...and that's just the stuff that comes to me off the top of my head, I'm sure there will be others you'll want to include. Don't rely on single wonder materials, composite armor is where it's at.
>>
>>44405880
No you see, power armor gives you regular power armor made out of some light and durable ally like aluminum, whereas these two materials are quite rare and their combination is unique to Captain America's shield . it would be ridiculous wanking to say you get it with just the Purchase of power armor
>>
>>44405902
It is a 900 CP combination that gives you a low powered version of Iron men Armor made but made out of tougher materials, i don't see what's wrong with it. I've seen more broken and cheaper combos around here.
>>
>>44404553
Make it an Illuminati! (The Steve Jackson games version) jump, perhaps? It's an existing IP, so there's a ton of things you can incorporate if you get stuck, but it also has a ton of different weird conspiracy stuff so you can fit what you want to fit in.
>>

In DBZ is Ki Potential a hard cap at Krillins powerlevel or just the max you can get without training?
>>
>>44406359
You're fanwanking an already stupid and broken item to remove the limits on it. And the logic you're using is that if you really squint at the jump's text and have no other knowledge of the game you might be able to come to that conclusion. This is Tera's general levels of logic. Why aren't you just using a pod instead?
>>
>>44400422
As far as we know you can take the metaphysics of perks with you, but mantling is something perks won't cover. So mantling is TES only without alot of wanking on your part.

Best place to start would probably be spell maker and the perk for making spells from oblivion/wind and then thu'um from skyrim. The latter is basically low end tonal architecture magic and should give you a starting point. The capstone from Civ for God Kings lets you perform myth like feats to help you convince the world metaphysically that this is a thing. Words have power from viking jump might also lend your thu'um some weight. All together you might just be able to shout the metaphysics into the world, or collapse reality as we know it.

Honestly, ASA is more the metaphysics than I am. Try asking him for tips on that.
>>
>>44406468
Okay misunderstood that, go generic magical girl and Have pirate Thematics. >>44406481
Yell what they said, also maybe don't assume the Elf girl is a pedophile, because we all really appreciate it if you didn't.
>>
>>44406481
>>44406523
but I'm fanwanking that the blue feather can be used for any proposal, not just a marriage, so that it can be used on more than one person. She's not a pedophile, she's a friend, nothing more, yet, in later jumps when we're all older I'll find a way
>>
>>44406563
there is written no where that you can marry only one person though.
>>
>>44406579
point, I could marry all of them (except Ruel) if I rolled a higher age, plus this is after 8 years of traveling with them and 2 years of traveling with my own crew, so I'd be 22 by then
>>
>>44406563
I know people Duplicate it and use it to marry more than one person but this does seem like it's pushing it, plus it goes directly against Canon So yeah don't do that.
>>
>>44406402
Seconded. The game's based on the real world Age of Sail, and there's literally two different pirate origins (well, one and Privateer, which is identical to Pirate unless it says otherwise).

There's also the best Pirate jump of all, Muppet Treasure Island.

A fine piece! I sure do wonder how ridiculous Quest for Glory got by the end...

That said:

Wizard

Magic Spark: Magic. You positively can't go wrong with it.
Magic Training x1 (100): Just enough to not be aggravatingly undertaught, but so as to not overpay.
Clever x2 (200): Intelligence, however, one does not pay cheaply on.
Spell Sense (300): And that's just nice. What else does one need in magical works, if not intuition?

Dryad of Spielburg (300): Why, hello there. I think we'll get along just fine.

Hero Outfit
Money
Long Dagger
Erana’s Fruit (400): The second best buy of the jump. And my garden gets curiouser and curiouser...

Heroic Plotline (+200): I mean, was intending on doing that anyway. Just boring otherwise, no?
Monster Mash (+100): And the magical word of the day is - "Fsteak".

Jump #11 Quest For Glory
Origin: Magic User.
Drawbacks: Heroic Plotline, Heroic Style. Perks:
Magic Spark- First magic in chain.
Magic Training x2- I am become wizard.
Clever x2- Crazy like a fox.
Potent Potioneering- Will grow more useful when I find other alchemy.
Spell Sense- Sense for dispelling and understanding the underlying structure. Great!
Storybook Life- I did in fact choose the storybook life.
Who Needs A Dentist?- My laziness more than anything.
Companion Import (150cp) Gaia. (Spell Sense, Who Needs A Dentist, Magic Spark)
Gear: Basic Gear, Heroic Outfit, Leather Armor x2, Money, Long Dagger.
Spells: Calm, Detect Magic, Trigger

Right after EVO, I stumble into a world that needs a possible hero. More of a doctor than a hero, but a land is similar enough to a body depending on how you look at it. I'll create and distribute some demon banishing incense around Spielberg to help with the monster problem, and heal the sick to generate both gold and goodwill. From there, I'll gather information and approach Baba Yaga's castle. There I will make soothing incense, and talk her into resolving her own problems through a combo of Bedside Manner, Tugging The Heartstrings, Expression, and Psychologist. After convincing her to lift her curse, and head for another land to reform herself, I'll spend the rest of the jump practicing magic, going on adventures, and improving the quality of life in the barony. Hopefully by the end I'll have earned the title of hero.
>>
>>44407637
>what's the best?
Dryad, of course!~

>What is your starting spell?
Detect Magic, probably. It's the only spell that opens up opportunities - some magic hides things, and all that.

>for the whole ten years
As it is? Depends on when in my chain I shunt the jump. I might very well need ten years of downtime from the previous jump.

>thanks
The pleasure is all mine.
>>
>>44407572

If you're going to use blue feathers and pods and whatever, even if you don't intend to use Minecraft's Cheat Mode to get a huge supply, just skip the fuss of rules interactions - they're really more like guidelines - and take whomever you want as a companion.

Remember not to brag about this or anything, and that you're responsible for your own fun.
>>
>>44407652
Full on Magic Power, go! Sounds like you're going to be having a good time.

Honestly, getting rid of Baba Yaga is enough to get people to call you "Hero". You'll have plenty of time to explore the world of Gloriana! Join WIT, the Wizards Institute of Tecnocery if you wish (though there will also be an opportunity in the second jump, if you wish to wait...) No need to limit yourself to Spielburg, unless you really want to.

Baba Yaga values politeness. Big time Lawful Evil; be sure to approach her with respect. And good luck!

ALSO, for those interested, the best introduction to the world of Gloriana is probably the Let's Play archive on it:

http://lparchive.org/Quest-for-Glory-1-5/

Though I fully respect not everyone wants to invest that much time into it.
>>
So, a query for those who are watching Supernatural.

How much time is it between the start of the series and the latest season? Reading up on the Darkness, she sounds like an... Aggravating, challenge to deal with. I mean, I could always just keep the seal on her going on, but still.

Jump #8, Muppet Treasure Island

Jumpers, have you ever come across a situation where you're planning out your Jump, looking through all the different perks, origins, items, etc., carefully weighing the costs and benefits against each other, and just found that one, inconsequential thing that just fascinates you on a deeper level?

For me, this happened in Dresden Files, where I was originally planning on carefully looking through all the perks of a specific tree, but found one thing that was barely mentioned. It was the Changeling: Little Guy origin description. The thing that really caught my eye was this: "You're the offspring of a human and a minor faerie, something like a Cobb, a Pixie, or a Sylph.--- Plus, since most of these faeries are social creatures, odds are good that they actually hung around and were pretty supportive, at least in their limited way. "

The idea of having a Pixie companion who is also my cheerful and supportive mother was just too precious to pass up. While it went against my usual practice, I placed this Origin above the rest in a heartbeat.
>>
>>44406470
Maximum without training.
>>
>>44408880
While not really inconsequential, there were, in fact, some things that made me pick them in a heartbeat with no regard to consequences.

When Ar Tonelico jump first came about, seeing the Origin drew me in immediately. Even before I found out about all the perks that came with the position, the very notion of being thrust into the position of having to save at the very least thousands of people from not a mere immediate danger, but death by extinction in a world where the planet was dead... Take note of the fact that that was before Civilization came out, making AT quite likely the first jump to offer such a thing. A thought of taking anything else never crossed my mind even as I read the rest of the document.

The second occurence I can remember is the Gundam Build Fighters drawback that makes your previous Gundam jumps canon. Something about making people wonder, when they look at you, just how is it possible for such a likeiness to exist outside of fiction was so delightfully meta.
>>
>>44408880
I've done it a few times. There are always things I want to be or want to have regardless of the advantages.
>>
So reading through GUNNM.

Can Karma Chameleon + Karmaton Dynamics rival the Imaginos bodies that the MC gets later? It says you can guide your evolution, but it gets slower and slower.

What's the advantage of going that over 100x peak human and improving upon that with Berserk Body & Karmaton Dynamics?

Which would be better for a Berserking/Warlord Jumper?
>>
>>44409451
Imaginos was created by the very same knowledge Karmatron Dynamics gives you. So it seems that the only thing the combo really gives you is getting Imaginos immediately, and not after years of research, be it yours or by plot.
>>
>>44405954
It's better to just pick up the Generic Magical Girl jump's "Anti-Magic" perk. It's actually more versatile than (but based on, given the picture depicted) Imagine Breaker
>>
>>44406648
It's based on borderlands Digistruct tech

http://borderlands.wikia.com/wiki/Digistruct
>>
Well... Trance from FF6, the Godhand from Godhand, Star Power from Super Mario, and the Invincibility Star from Super Mario RPG, and lastly... using the eons of Mantra I have stored from various civilizations.
So, that's 5. with two being almost the same.

I _would_ list my Final Form, but that's my default form through the power of shape- and sizeshifting.
>>
>>44406470
Pretty sure it says Krillin is the highest your power level can get. That means you train up to that level. It also says that you have to find a way around the restriction by yourself. In addition to something like softcap you can try splicing other dna into yourself so that you aren't relying on the perk to give you ki and thus can exceed the limit.

They're not ridiculously powerful, but they have some very strong guns.
>>
>>44406648
You can probably learn to make your own, yes. It would also let you store more stuff in your warehouse, that's also true.

You should just go with a Minecraft AE system instead though, or use return to get a Pokémon PC system. Don't store items in hundreds of different storage devices, just use one convenient machine.
>>
>>44407020
DMC Devil Trigger, Naruto Eight Gates, Naruto Tailed Beast Mode, Steven Universe Fusion, Iji Overclock, and combining a bunch of different forms into one with This Is In Fact My Final Form.

May also use Animorph's tech to shapeshift into a Kryptonian form for a bit of extra oomph.

origin:
Magic User
perks:
Magic Spark [Free] -Magic is good, people
Magic Training x2 [200] -Learning Magic easier is also good.
Clever x2 [200] -Being smart is also nice.
Spell Sense [300] -Yes. Moar Senses
Who Needs A Dentist? [100] -Appearance boosts? Can. not. resist.
companions:
Dryad of the Woods [300] -Oh hey, a nice caretaker for my forest. Hi.
items:
Basic Gear [Free] m'kay
Heroing Outfit [Free] m'kay.
Money [Free] I like shinies.
Long Dagger [Free] m'kay
Erana’s Fruit [400] Plant it in my garden, to make my Dryad friend feel at home.
drawbacks:
Heroic Plotline [+200] -Stuff to do.
Heroic Timeline [+100] -Should be easy enough.
Monster Mash [+100] -Let's introduce some challenge?
It's Been a Harsh Winter [+100] -And people don't like me at first. That's fine, they'll warm up when this 'Prophecy' business is done. less than a month, ha.

So, yeah, this is one jump where I just spend most of my time learning all the magic I can, training various other skills, and meeting my new dryad friend. Nice and peaceful.
There's the business of the prophecy, but that seems almost trivial with the previous jumps I've done.

Who gives a flying fuck if the village is kind of totally mad suspicious about the man-shaped thing that should not be frolocking about siphoning life energy from the local monster population? We're going to just go and have picnics wherever we want, and nobody will stop us.

We could, perhaps, curry some favour by leaving 'em some endlessly respawning meals or self-filling divine cooking pots or whatever, but since they're being dicks about the whole winter thing we're just going to sit around just in sight of the village, cook up literally divine feasts for our companions and make eye contact while eating enough ambrosia to feed the village for seven generations.

Of course, if your chain is rolled rather than selected, you might have to put up with the drawback a looooong time before you get to the jump you actually wanted to use it in.

And now I am BSOD'ing at the thought of Abridged versions of various random jumps.

>>44412286
Eh, the only thing people like as much or more than magic is tech. Everyone going for the magical origin is quite common.
>>
>>44410286
If this is a late jump, then you shouldn't have *too* much difficulty completing the prophecy, no. Unless your modus operandi is just to go around killing things, in which case you are very likely to kill something or someone you need to complete it.

The only real difficulty will be figuring out what needs to be done, due to no one wanting to talk to you. Though, if you have some divination magic from earlier jumps it shouldn't be too hard.

Hmm... so far, four people and all are taking Magic User. I promise I won't nerf any Magic User stuff, but I might need to make the other options more powerful next iteration.

Thanks for sharing!
>>
>>44412286
Yeah, definitely not. Honestly, it's hard to beat magic conceptually, and the perks really are representative of the game itself. It's just that being a wizard is so much more versatile and cool when not constrained to limited game options.

Does the good luck of "Fortune Favors The... Protagonist?" perk come at the cost of other people's luck (e.g. that guest who had to leave in a hurry, that merchant who finds themself coming your way)?
>>
>>44410110
The drawbacks are quite manageable, yes, provided you do not just go around murdering things, as said to the other jumper. The prophecy cannot be completed solely with killing.

Nice idea giving a companion Slay Sense.

I hope you enjoy the jump!
>>
>>44412737
Well, it's not a zero sum game, if that's what you mean. The merchant, for example, gets to sell some of his wares to you, so that's good. You may beat out someone to a room that also wanted it due to your luck, but the luck won't "hurt" someone else unless there is no other way to "help" you.

Whats the rule with pokemon trainer types, I mean in game and show trainers who use only one type of mon get powers based on that type. Like sabrina psi powers, misty holding her breath for ages, blaine giving no fucks about heat, its not just gym leaders though but almost every monotype trainer has a minor super power such as hikers who are all fatasses walking into the middle of nowhere without getting tired.
>>
>>44412906
what the fuck are you on about?
>>
>>44412906
Seems to be more that they just get used to it, like swimmers holding their breath longer than non-swimmers, and people who work in steel mills and the like learn to put up with heat better than those who don't. The Psychic thing might be different, but is more likely that they were psychic so they get pokemon who can help them train and hone those skills.
>>
>>44411981
Hmm... perhaps not the nicest jumper around, but I hope you have fun!

Fortunately for the villagers, since you did not take "Heroic Plotline", their actual Hero will be along at some point, and hopefully save the day. :)
>>
>>44412906
No they don't. There's no mechanic for that. Not in the games. Not in the anime. Sabrina was born a prodigy with psychic powers (which everyone has) and has multiple pokemon in the games. Misty doesn't have magic breath holding powers anywhere, she just uses a rebreather in the anime.
>>
>>44412906
Hikers are meant to be hardy endotherms. People with tons of real muscle whose fat collects close to the skin, and who put on a good amount of weight from eating a lot of food to fuel their physical activities. Basically strongmen, not body builders.
>>
>>44412969
It's entirely logical that Misty can hold her breath for longer than the average joe.

But it's not because she's got super powers, but because she grew up in a giant fucking aquarium/swimming pool.
>>
>>44413019
If you say so. But anon is phrasing it as a 'minor superpower' like it's fucking aquaman, not a little girl holding her breath for four minutes.
>>
Fate question: does the magic core replace or override the circuits or you still need them?
>>
>>44413049
It can replace them but you get even more mana from having circuits.
>>
>>44413049
The magic core works in tandem with the circuits. It's just a massive upgrade in how many you have.
>>
>>44412950
Yeah its kinda a chicken or egg thing. People pick a poke theme and they just get better at it I would guess.

But then you got those trainers who are at the ocean floor for days with nothing but swimcaps. Those are weird.
>>
>>44413049
You get the Core on top of the Circuits.
>>
>>44413074
That's a game abstraction. They're not there for days, they just didn't program them surfacing every few minutes.
>>
>>44413074
I think that's more that the games don't count you being able to hold your breath/and or add scuba gear since that simply isn't the focus. Considering they needed rebreathers in the anime it's probably not an actual ability.
>>
>>44412906
It's the whole Batman thing, I think. It's not that they're superhuman, it's that the peak of human ability is fairly high in the world of Pokemon and some people just live the right lifestyle to reach it, at least in a few specialized areas. Real world humans are capable of some impressive environmental adaptation, so in a fantasy universe it's not too weird to think that they can perform impressive feats.
>>
>>44413006
Pretty much.

Dudes who are genuinely fucking strong tend to look less like Ahnold and more like bears. And to a lesser extent, farmers that do a lot of heavy lifting also tend to look more like the stereotypical redneck than they do gymrats.
>>
>>44413102
There are some of them inside underwater caves that dont have air or any way to surface for a long distance, that aint normal.

>>44413006
I always liked hikers.
>>
>>44413144
The game also has everyone looking exactly the same as everyone else in the same profession or with the same hobby. Those swimmers probably do have scuba gear, they just aren't shown with it because that's another set of sprites that they don't feel the need for.
>>
>>44413171

How would the citizens of Spielburg with the It's Been a Harsh Winter drawback react if you show up with wagons full of food, or magic to conjure food? Would that basically count as the Acts of Heroism that help them come to treat you better?
>>
>>44413479
Impossible. They're only good at two things: surrendering and kissing.

That's why they've got a legion of foreigners to do all their heavy lifting. Right?

French writers and thinkers immediately started to paint the US and north america as inferior. The people, the land, the government, they said it was all degenerated and worthless next to Europe. They supported the USA to piss off Britain, and once that was done their relationship switched entirely to one of scorn and has stayed that way since.
>>
>>44413670
Again.

You're on the Internet.

>her weakness is you... being the main character
In that case, even early jumpers might actually be able to beat her. It seems to me that the nature of jumpchain as a self-insert power fantasy would probably guarantees you a spot as a main character.
>>
>>44413496
Well, it's a drawback, so even if it would be logical, you can't get out of it completely that easily.

BUT, I would say that would certainly help soften their distrust. They would accept the food and be grateful for it, but likely be wondering what your ulterior motive was.

It would help, though, yes.
>>
>>44413922
Oh, I wasn't saying it'd solve it, I was wondering if it would count as one of the ways listed as 'thawing relations a bit'. I know the only real way to get their trust is completing the prophecy.
>>
>>44413958
In that case: yes, it would help thaw them a bit.
>>
>>44413920
Not being a main character, but the main character, you would have to take Medaka's place. You also need the narrative behind you.
>>
>>44414007
Or you could just befriend her and convince her of a reason to live on despite being in a fictional world of fiction. She is easily persuaded.
>>
>>44414049
But it's not fictional. People seem to forget that in the context of the chain, this is all real. You're not 'in' an anime, you're in that anime's world. A real universe.
>>
>>44414000
Good to know. Also, is there an age roll? Just checking all backgrounds are free right? Tossing up between Magic User and Thief, with some thought of going Drop In.
>>
>>44414083
But she is not convinced of that is the problem. She'll still believe herself to be in a manga. Which you'll need to disprove to her.
>>
>>44414115
Get her to use her "Realise I can go to other worlds that are real" skill.
>>
>>44414085
All the backgrounds are free, and there is no age roll. If you pick anything besides Drop-In, you are somewhere in your early 20s. If you are Drop-In, you can be any age you like.

I'll add a note about age to the jump for the next time, thanks.
>>
>>44414007
>You also need the narrative behind you.
Wouldn't you have the meta-narrative on your side?

Like, jumpchain is your own story that you're writing, and you're the main character in that narrative. Medaka Box has it's in-universe narrative and Medaka is the main character there, but everything that happens there just a partt of the overall jumpchain story where you're the main character. So, you're the main character in the actual narrative that's one step above the in-universe narrative.

Having typed all that out, I'm suddenly afraid that this is one of those settings where using a "you know how to bend the rules of the setting and narrative" perks would probably break something important.
>>
>>44414153
Thanks. Also, Fox Friend. So mine. Sooo Mine!
>>
>>44414186
Glad to hear! Please post your build when you finish; I would be very happy to see it.
>>
>>44414186
>Fox Friend. So mine. Sooo Mine!
Make sure you have some method of resurrection, because the first fireball or whatever is going to kill it off, and it apparently doesn't come back.
>>
>>44412906
Even if you can learn psychic powers in Pokemon, which I'm still not convinced is possible, they'll always pale in comparison to what's possible for those who're born with them.

And psychic trainers mainly use psychic pokemon because they can train their powers with them.
>>
>>44414161
It's not, that's just Ajimu's personal beliefs which are proven to be wrong in series. You are not actually going to do any better against her because you're the jumper.
>>
>>44414302
Area of effect damaging spells aren't really a thing in Quest for Glory, and the fox is very good at hiding. BUT, I wouldn't recommend taking it into the midst of combat in other jumps, no, unless you have other ways of boosting it up.
>>
>>44414302
Magicka should cover that. Also just because it isn't a companion (or I'm not getting him as such) doesn't mean I can't give him magical amulets and such to protect him, and an infusion of nanites to make him more durable. Ages back I asked about getting an immortal dog. This may not be quite the same, but it's close enough to get me excited about having him along on the journey.

Question. Does he have a name?
>>
>>44414404
He has no name in the lore (and, actually, I don't think the fox is even explicitly identified as "he"), so you can choose whatever name you think fitting.

This isn't you "naming" him; it just happens to be the name he always had.
>>
>>44414350
Oh. I thought main characters and stuff like that being important was part of the series' overall parody.

Okay, if Reploid happens to see this, I've got 2 questions relating to the Mega Man jumps:

I believe it's been stated that if you buy a Z-Saber in the Classic and X jumps that the Z-Saber you can buy in the Zero jump will be stronger because your actions in the past encouraged Z-Saber research and development. My question is that, if I bought a Z-Saber in both Classic and X, which weapon would be stronger: An X Z-Saber upgraded into a Shining Weapon, or the normal Zero Z-Saber? Also, since Shining Weapon doesn't say I can, I can't just take both options to upgrade the Zero Z-Saber into a Shining Weapon, can I?
>>
>>44414648
>Medaka being jumpchan
Worst end, Medaka a shit.
>>
>>44414329
There's no such thing as NOT born with them. Every human in pokemon is born with the potential. Sabrina knows a hell of a lot more than you and she says as much. It's just that some people are naturally talented, same as people are for any skill.
>>
>>44414631
That depends on what exactly meta-teleportation is, because I don't know.

For a while it looked like I'd be going Magic User too, but in the end Thief won out... still grabbed some magic powers though.

Start 1000
It's Been A Harsh Winter 100
Monster Mash 100
Heroic Style 100
Heroic Plotline 200
Thief Free
Lockpicking Free
Subtle Sense -300
Stealth x2 -200
Magic Spark -100
Magic Training x2 -400
Fortune Facors the... Protagonist? x2 -400
Fox Friend -100
Basic Gear Free
Heroing Outfit Free
Money x3 Free
Leather Armor Free
Small Sword Free
3x Throwing Dagger Free

And there we go, a thief with a bit of magic on his side. Nice jump!

I'll deliver food and send drones into the forest to try to contain the monsters. Given these people are running on hard times I doubt there'll be much to steal from them so I won't bother. I will however pay a visit to this castle for... purely academical reasons, I assure you.

Not too sure about how to solve this prophecy, but I may end up stealing the Baron's kids away from a witch, if that's how things go.

There is one exception to Ihiko's "crushes everything else" rule, and it is...the power itself. As in-he was defeated by being tricked into posessing someone who made him use his own power on himself, basically Balefiring reality such that everything and everyone he'd destroyed was restored, and also altering the power such that it was no longer absolute (maybe) when the dude sort of respawned (he's kind of a ghost).

The person who subverted his power as his "host" was the original Real Eater owner.

>>44414648
At least we don't have the worst guess for "possible Jump-Chan identity" now.

Naw, I'm pretty sure at one point Medaka outright said Ajimu would completely win against her. The whole main character thing was just Ajimu's 'delusions'. The reason Iihiko's rubber band worked is because his power is "of another dimension" so her defenses meant nothing.

Ugh. Gainax's best creation was Gonzo, and that was only made by the best and brightest from Gainax deciding to drop that corpse of a studio.
>>
>>44414939
Got ourselves a regular shadow mage here (in the sense of a great power working from the shadows and places unseen; whether for good or ill is for you to determine)

Given that you didn't give yourself the time limit, you shouldn't find the prophecy too troubling to fulfill if you approach the situation with caution and consideration. The Fox will make the process much easier as well.

Stealing the kids away from a witch... not quite. But you're thinking in the right way. Also remember they are fully grown, now.

I'll probably add a full "spoilers" section to the jump explaining what exactly needs to be done to fulfill the prophecy.
>>
>>44415139
Gonzo? The Sesame Street character?
>>
>>44414718
Right, I forgot about that one quote. Still Sabrina inherited her abilities and there hasn't been anyone nearly as powerful in the series since. Training to get Psychic powers yourself would be impressive, but buying them though the perk would save a lot of time and effort.

Also this >>44414329 was my comment but I forgot to put on my name.
>>
>>44415110
>Strength "of another dimension"
I get what they mean here, and I'm sure the secondary meaning isn't present in Japanese, but I'm still picturing a jumper trying to be a smug little shit and exploit something that sounds like it's right in their wheelhouse.
>>
>>44415175
Sure, I'm not arguing that the perk isn't better. In my interpretation perks are parts of your background, so you were born with that talent and built it up during your life. And tying into what I said, that's being born talented, like people born talented at art will usually end up better than people who solely work at it from nothing. By its description at or better than her level, which seems to be beyond any other psychic we've seen. Seems. I don't watch the anime, not since the beginning of Johto, so I can't tell you how powerful Liza and Tate, or what's her face from Kalos, are in the anime.
>>
>>44415217
>jumper trying to be a smug little shit

Business as usual then.
>>
>>44415159
Right, the Fox will help me determine what I need to do, and the wiki revealed the daughters identity... Just gotta hope my mana drain ability is up to breaking a curse... Or I can learn Trigger, or get a dispel potion which I just found is how it was done in game.
>>
>>44406084
Does the "Heroic Style" drawback prevent you from wearing alternate clothing, any other clothing, or any other anything? Because if the second or worse the third, gear-reliant jumpers are going to take a nasty ding.
>>
>>44415129
>Medaka can't copy Ajimu's power because his strength is "of another dimension"

>>44415129
Not really. His power is basically being immune to all other powers and abilities and attacks, no matter their scope. Not sure what this 'other dimension' stuff is about.
>>
>>44415244
That's similar to how I interpreted the perk as well, it gives you fairly strong telekinesis and telepathy at the start and it's easier for you to improve your abilities than other psychics.

I checked the anime episode where first Sabrina shows up as few minutes ago, she was stupidly over powered. (Evolving a Pokemon during a match, Astral Projection, teleportation, Illusions, telepathy, matter manipulation, etc.) No other major psychic character has been anywhere near as powerful. Tate and Liza claimed to have telepathy in the games but I don't know about the Kalos girl.
>>
>>44415471
One of his three or so powers actually. The others are making all his actions and attacks deal permanent damage and effects and the other is reflecting damage back on attackers by breaking their attacks or something.
>>
>>44415477
Liza and Tate can levitate and levitate objects in the games. Basic stuff. The Kalos woman can levitate, and she's super showy, but pretty much everything else in her gym is just a lot of pomp and special effects.
>>
>>44415477
The Kalos girl can WARP SPACE AND MANIPULATE GRAVITY.

Also strong prophecy ability.
>>
>>44415602
In the anime? Because in the games those effects in her gym are all shown to be lighting and mechanics.
>>
>>44415621
...Shit, you're right.

I'm more tired than I thought if I forgot that was special effects.
>>
>>44415747
Yeah, I don't know if that was intentional, but France is pretty much the 'fakest' region in Pokemon. Even moreso than Unova.
>>
>>44412906
>>44415175
>>44415477
> she was stupidly over powered.
Sabrina was a G1 Gym Leader, and during that time the anime did a whole lot of weird shit and took liberties with what Pokemon were reasonably allowed to do. It was way more experimental. Nowadays we just get regular shonen stuff like glacier chucking and determination brought from friendship.
Anyway, Sabrina shouldn't be used as a baseline for anything.
>>
>>44415766
Sabrina's powers aren't beyond anything a psychic pokemon can do in the games. So your 'caution' is overwrought.
>>
>>44415795
She turned people into dolls.
