SoB or....AoS as a whole...

Though I'll admit the second is just wishful dreaming
>>
With any luck, the Tau will go the way of the dodo.
>>
>>44250616
The ball, as per usual.
>>
>>44250616
do not think of factions, races or systems.
think of special characters, special rules and specialist equipments.

but sisters, brets and empire are going away
>>
>>44250870
don't know about sisters but
>brets and empire are going away
isn't this pretty obvious with the you know.

>all these butthurt anti-Sisters fags

Sisters of Battle may not have their own codex in the future, but they're sure as hell not going anywhere. They are simply too established in the lore without an absolutely major upheaval like AoS (which isn't happening for 40K at any point in the near future).

What is more likely and what I hope happens is that Sisters get folded in with an Agents of the Inquisition-style Codex, along with Deathwatch Marines and Inquisitorial Acolytes.

They've flat-out said they're not going to squat Sisters.

Inb4 300 posts implying GW's actions are, or have ever been, based on plebian concerns like math or history.

It's called "common" sense for a reason, peasants!

Their prices.

The Bass?

I don't think anyone though the SoB would get the lore axe...only the table top Axe.

This. AoS is actually promising, but at the same time the only thing I see GW doing is dropping the ball with it.

They are also taking advantage of Forge World's 30k stuff; and I see them dropping the ball here, too.

Rather unfortunate since Warhammer's finally having some cool promising shit. Is this rather jaded of me? Yes. But GW's recent history hasn't been all that great.
>>
>>44251620
Funny, I remember when they said they wouldnt squat fantasy.
>>
>>44257237

GW needs to stop wasting massive amounts of money on giant plastic shit for failing franchises. WHFB, End Times, AoS, all generated negative revenue yet they got the most money dedicated to them.
>>
>>44250616

They actually brought Zoats back in Storms of Magic.

Plus it's not like people at GW actually liked them, apparently they were created solely so GW could have a race it could call its own. Said dislike also gave birth to the Fimir as an alternative.

>>44251620

Considering they've gone to lengths to separate Sisters from the Inquisition, as they were originally, and are under no obligation to give an army a physical codex, I don't see why they would fold them in again.
>>
>>44250870
>Empire is going away

Ok its time to stop posting anon
>>
>>44258049

At the very least its models may be incorporated into an Army of Azyrheim.
>>
>>44258049
They invested so heavily into Empire the last few years with all those beautiful kits, I can't see them just going away.
>>
>>44251620
They can just get rid of the Sisters products and refer to them in fluff only. Then they can just keep referring to them less and less. Eventually in 20 years you'll have some old fag rambling about how GW used to have female space marines back in the day.

Negative revenue? Do you have a link or citation to that? I'm curious to see this, as I was always under the impression that, though WHFB wasn't as popular as 40K, still generated enough revenue.
>>
>>44259613

If Fantasy was doing well enough in its current state then AoS probably would have never become a thing.
>>
>>44254638
Matt pls go.
>>
>>44251620
You're kidding, right?
They could axe their minis tomorrow, their dex by the end of the year and not write about them come next edition and there you go, the Sisters have gotten squatted.
You honestly think that GW couldn't do this?
It'd take less effort then writting the next Mahreens dex
>>
>>44260982
why kill sisters though?
gamers like them because they get to paint boobies and ass.
>>
>>44257237
>AoS is actually promising
nice joke
>>
>>44257640
Oh, look at that, a 40k fanling sperging about how his precious favourite 40k isn't getting enough attention and everything else should be dropped so he can have more marines to masturbate to.

Dear little prince, WHFB has been huge in terms of popularity and revenue for decades. But since unlike 40k it has actual competitors, and its development has been shitted on in favour of 40k, GW decided to let it die and then cut it away instead of trying to make it competitive (with, you know, good rules, good support, good models, less prohibitive prices).
>>
>>44257237
AoS is not a game and it won't be a game until decent rules will be released, which means, according to GW themselves, never.

At the current state you can't play a game of AoS much more than you could play a game of Barbies vs Bionicles with your little cousin rolling random dice.

Maybe. I suspect they are trying the same thing they just pulled with the Specialist lines, and which their favorite licensee (FFG) is expert at: let a game sit OOP until the demand builds back up.
