Uh...alright men, we've been granted a day to repair the base and see to our injured after action on that Space Hulk, so find yourself a task and get to work. That is...uh...all...Dismissed.

Won't be very active for now, but I'll continue to monitor the thread. Bang on Gary's door if you want him
>>
>>44061854
Alright. Sister... uh...
*looks at clipboard*
Amelia. Can you hear me? We brought you to the Medbay on base and you burnt through the sedatives in record time.

>>44061897
So how are we going to do this?

>>44061877
Any better armor... or sugar.

No worries mate.

That's good. Now can you hear me?

>>44062006
Hey, don't be so scared. We'll be alright. We just gotta take it slow and steady and we'll be fine.

I-it's not, uh...Amelia I'm scared about...

I can see that. Just... calm down. There are no daemonettes here.
>>
>>44062472
Well that would be me. But we had reason to believe you were being possessed by a daemon. Now we see that you are actually a psyker and we need to suppress that ability so you can learn to control it.

>>44062501
It's one that will suppress psychic abilities. Don't worry the Inquisition developed it... to an extent.

>>44062517
Everyone has some things there scared of.

Sorry guys, but I'm feeling pretty sick today so I won't participate. Just assume Nyzart is off removing some tau remnants.

Callidus, you have been weird all day long, please put an end to your jokes.
>>44062660
Again? Can not you see the armor? I am not a psyker, case closed!
>>
>>44062660
This is the first time I work with work technology. It will take some time and intensive testing. Otherwise we could possibly blow up our sear Sister into a warp portal.
>>
>>44062679
You burnt though a sedative in a hour that should have knocked a psyker out for at lest a day. You are a quite powerful one

The armor means nothing. It is your mind. It is now vulnerable.
>>
>>44062667
I...I am?
I-I'll be fine when everyone uh...s-stops talking about it...
>>
>>44062698
I meant warp technology.

My weapons, and let me go.

Easy easy...w-we're not going to turn you in...we're just worried. P-please....
>>
>>44062744
*raises voice*
Have you worked along side with them? stopping them from turning into a warp gate? have you studied their brain waves to see the slightest change in there power? Have you observed them while using their powers? I didn't think so. So lay down and let me do what I have to do to stop you from causing yourself and us harm.
>>
>>44062706
Then we won't mention it.
>>44062744
Alright that's enough. Amelia listen... I know you dislike the situation and that it seems crazy but it IS true. You... you made sparks appear around you in thin air.
>>
>>44062813
And who says you did all that shit? I have had my experiences with psykers. Some of which lasted until I was able to get into bolter range. Let me go, you hold no authority on me!
>>44062784
There is no problem, ehm... I could use a drink though...
>>44062834
And what next? Leman Russ is back with the 13th grand company in tow?

P-please s-stay....we just want to make sure you're o-okay....
>>
>>44063004
Sister, I understand that the idea of being accused to be a filthy mutant isn't very enjoyable, but we have to make this tests.
Otherwise we have to asume that you are maybe hiding something.
>>
>>44062857
>>44063004
Stop! That is an order.
>Stern.
>She's frowning right now.
Alright listen up. I'm no longer speaking as a friend but rather as a vessel of the high lords of terra's will, as are all assassins. You have psychic potential. You are a danger to all those around you if left unchecked and if it comes to that I may be forced to act on the elimination of said danger. Listen to me as the voice of reason for yours is clouded. You're surrounded by a group of faithful believers that concede on a single fact: you are a psyker. Think about your cirrent situation, do you really think we are joking?
>>
>>44063004
Just a couple o' drops o' de-tox an' it should be safe fer yer sky people... Here. Strong stuff.
>>
>>44063004
That's it. I didn't want to do this.
*pulls out data slate*
Look. This is a after action report saying you have psychic abilities with inquisition level clearance. You will listen to me and sit down.
>>
>>44063063
Thanks. Much appreciated.
>>44063047
>>44063056
If you put it in these terms, I will call in my Order. I believe we don't want to bother boh the inquisition and a sororitas order, and by extension, the Bloody Rose, only because of your silly, unfounded suspects.
>"So you WERE a dialogus once,after all."
If you need me to take into consideration existing precedents...
>>44063105
I request to see the dataslate, to check it is not a false. About which battle is it?

Wish I could be o' more use. 'ard choices be all too familiar 'ta me, but this be different. *nods at his paralyzed legs*
>>
>>44063179
The previous one.
The codes are valid and the radio transmissions are all blocked by the inquisition. I'm only allowed to show you the report.
If all goes well you will get a simple implant and be on your way.

You have proof I used sorcery against the Tau yesterday? Ridiculous. Let me see.

I can see your motivations, Callidus. If you really need to keep the Lieutenant close to you so bad that you plan to get rid of me in the process at least be honest and say it.

Reason. Result. Cost.

My guns, Alice. Before someone tries to force me on the next black ship.

I won't actually make this happen but with my luck man......

Praetorians are men...and women, of Honour. You have me word.

Worst of it all is that I had already got Delta's backstory all done and ready by the day I imagined her as a character and this small chain of events just got straight to her heart.

Celestial Lions best chapter.
... I am not reading your mind, Alice. I can't, I have not enough control, and I don't want to. I... well, I told you I was an ex dialogus, right? My order... we actualy had a small chamber militant as well. An handful of sisters for protection.
Help me take off my armor.

>>44064173
Her father was a non-sanctioned psyker and all the family she had left. One day he just exploded out of no apparent reason before her while she was playing with her Space Marine doll. Worst of it all is that she was in range to get splattered by the bloody mess.

My order was destroyed in a raid. You know... those black armored eldar? They killed most of the sisters and made a few prisoners. Including me.

No, it was the already mentioned in the other thread Crimson Fists one, the one she called "Guardian". She was convinced that it was the doll of one of the Emperor's Angels what saved her from also blowing up for no reason and that as long as she was with it she would never suffer the fate her late father did. Making her a fully faithful believer of the Imperium and the Emperor from the get-go on her early days at the Schola Progenium.

>>44064336
No you don't.
>takes off the shirt, revealing an horrifically scarred torso on which disgusting runes have been traced with some painfully sharp sort of hook
It is actually half of the story and it ends with me murdering one of the sisters of my order, stealing her armor and posing as her when the Astartes actually decided to come and saves what was left of us.
That means me.
Well, of course she had the retarded idea of... of trying to kill me after I mindraped our torturers. Completely unwillingly. So I guess I can be excused... sort of. It is a messy story.

>>44064317
Neither we do. Inquisitorial secret!

The plans are pretty straight forward. Also for future reference I have quite a few inquisition plans and related stuff.

>for a moment, anyone attuned with the warp can sense great amounts of psychic energies from the forest

The plans maybe, but the Quartermaster is kinda obsessed with augmentations, implants and modifications.

ALRIGHT QUICK RECAP OF THE LAST 3 THREADS FOR THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN ABSENT:
We fought the tau.
We kicked their asses.
We celebrated that we defeated a (half) daemon prince, 2 tau strike forces, liberated an imperial base from Tau's hold, cleansed a ship from a genestealer infestation and made sure a tomb-world did not rise against the Imperium IN A SINGLE DAY.
Our characters all got a bit drunk on the celebration.
Crazy, funny shit occurred everywhere.
Hank tried to make his move on Alice. Alice almost makes him (accidentaly?) suicide and revealed to the Callidus LIX and the SoB Amelia she was into girls.
Amelia felt ashamed and left.
LIX felt ashamed but started to wonder.
Hank was rescued from dying by the techpriest.
Gary was mad with Alice for being the cause of Hank's almost suicide.

Thread ended with awkward sleeptime for everyone (these where 2 threads by the way).

Then we moved to an ork space hulk last thread and cleansed it from orks. Amelia was shown to be a psyker and... well here we are.

All I'm asking is that you give her a chance, she's a good person, she is, Assassins just have a....'unique' reputation.

We may be a bit self immersed in our plots.

Petty villainy has a quality all of her own. I enjoy villains who enact petty, quiet revenges for the pettiest reasons, as long as their methods are classy and don't make a giant fuss over small things.
Panic thy anus, for while I may be a bad player, I am an absolute bastard of a GM.

Fair warning, Greely is in fact a Latent Psyker. Just letting you know in case your character would recognize this. It was originally going to come up with the chaos star, but things happened and he never touched it.
>>
>>44066629
Amelia is a psyker with little control over her telepathy, it wold be difficult for her to notice.
Unless until shit hits the fan.
And it will.
>>
>>44066516
I'm not sure she's as queer in the preferences department as she tries to be. But, thats an issue i have failed to resolve. Anyway, strange they all certainly are. Which is why I wouldn't mind letting you look after them for a time. I am seriously curious to see how the Inquisition works.

So, should we push Amelia towards the villainy spectrum? Turn her traitor Chaos Rising style?

"I can't find anything on this sister nor can I verify her story. Something very bad is happening."

>>44068060
Oh boy. How about this. I gotta get some high explosives... a lot of them. So, after I fix that up can you go get a ton of them? Just leave them in Medbay in the backroom.
>>
>>44068107
Aye aye laddie, fukin bring them thick cunt Heretics on and I'll fuk the little shites right up.
>>
>>44068024
Oh, frak! Lt!
>salutes snappily, shifting the sacks to his off-hand
Permission to requisition use of a light vehicle for a little uh, scout duty and requisitions, sir? Honestly, if you said yes, that'd save me a lot of trouble.

Oh and has anyone seen my helmet anywhere? Bowl top, bit of a brim to it? Front bit's sharpened so I can headbutt heretics with it? I like that helmet, but the quartermaster doesn't issue them anywhere but Cerberus.

Aaand I'm out. Good night folks. Hopefully I'll catch the next one sooner in the thread...
>>
>>44068113
Well now that those two are gone we can talk. But yeah, I agree. Something really stinks here, and knowing what I do about things, I've got some theories...
>>
>>44068146
Permission granted. Hands him a requisitions data slate.

>>44068109
Anything about her first battle or is that corrupted?
>>
>>44068113
Sure, no problem. How many are there in total?
>>
>>44068175
I was going over the medical data. And i was able to listen in to a conversation between Alice and the sister. She was captured by Dark Eldar and tortured. She claims she broke it and killed her sisters and escaped. That's why she's a psyker. But even with me Inquisitorial access codes I got nothing on her. And mind you I was able to get my records and I went through a lot to hide it.

>>44068183
I need enough to blow doors off hinges around 50 doors... and enough for remote traps.
>>
>>44068141
Ahahahaha... You a highlander too? Personally, I've got a bit of Scots heritage, but my kin have been in America for about 400 years, so we're pretty far removed. So now it's mostly Anglo-Norman.
>>
>>44068268
Ah, okay.
>Just assumes this is for tomorrows battle or something
So, I guess that would be, at most, 350 explosives? Gotcha. Okay, now if you can patch me up I'll be on my way to moving those explosives for you... lieutenant.
>>
>>44068268
Hmmmm... that's nothing to scoff at. Yeah, considering how connected the Dark Eldar are to Chaos, and Alice was attacked by Chaos... I think her encounter has corrupted her, made her insecure and peculiar. And now they're both pawns. Pawns who have, disturbingly enough, brought a Callidus Assassin into their sway.

*growls deeply* I may have to call in the biggest favor I've got in my pocket to deal with this. In fact, I'm sure I will...

>Jogs a couple dozen feet away from the Jeep and attempts to contact the base.
>"G-Gary...you...uh...y-you there?"
>Alice sounds tired, perhaps confused.
>>
>>44068392
*very cautiously answers*

Yeah?
>>
>>44068419
>Alice groans in what is possibly pain or discomfort before answering.
>"W-What happened earlier? I remember being so....uh...a-angry about...e-everything...but now that I'm out here I uh...my head is -killing- me...I think I feel sick. W-what happened?"
>>
>>44068343
Greedy can call in an Inquisitor, right?
If need be I'll send out a distress with an inquisitor code. Any inquisition ship will notice something is wrong

*mouths the words. Alice?*

>>44068336
No this is precaution. I swear you to never speak of this again.
>>
>>44068453
Yeah, what happened? You drove out with what I assume was the Callidus.
>>
>>44068454
Okay... uh, gotcha, sir lieutenant.
>>
>>44068454
Well... this individual I have a favor with isn't just anyone...

*nods that it is her on the vox*
>>
>>44068492
>>44068454
>pops out of a box
Whats this about the Dark Eldar now?
>>
Is it Ok that we're going ahead with this even though Amelia isn't here? and how the hell did Jackson know she was a psyker? Kinda ruins the buildup imo
>>
>>44068520
Nothing you need to worry about just now.
>>
>>44068492
>"I d-don't know....I was just...angry with everyone. I h-have no idea w-why....
>Alice pauses for a second before continuing.
"I heard...s-something near our room and I...made me want to...n-nevermind, but like I said, once we drove out here I only feel...ill.
C-come to think of it, I could have sworn the anger w-went away as I got further a-away..."
>The barely audible thump of -something- hitting the sand is barely audible over the transmission.
>"S-sarge? I'm scared...."

>>44068551
Amelia freaked out on the Hulk and sparks popped out of her brain case.
>>
>>44068520
Dolan, be quiet. We are in a very bad situation... Actually need something from you. Can you get me a ton of sandbags and bring them to the storeroom connected to the Medbay? That'll be our fallback position.

>>44068551
I was with her when the sparks happened. I ran tests on her when she was unconscious and I listened in when she was explaining it to Alice
>>
>>44068560
Gary Dark eldar are like a venereal disease, contraception is better than the cure. So if there's something up let me know.
>>
>>44068581
Well, it's time you put on your big girl dungarees. You're wearing Carapace, as you always insist on. Did you get a meltagun? You could have at least took that piece of my advice.
>>
>>44068611
The hell are you talking about? The cure is killing every last damn one of em.
>>
>>44068615
>"There's uh...a Melta in the back of the J-Jeep...W-why do I...uh...need it?"
>>
>>44068611
Look. We might have to kill off some infected people and it might spark a firefight. So I'm preparing the base to our advantage. That's all I can say right now.

>>44068615
Gary. Is she in danger?
>>
>Is just listening, waiting to get patched up
>His rocks back and forth on the balls of his feet, which may or may not be involuntary at this point
>>
>>44068656
Yeah! Keep the damn thing close, and slag anything that comes near you. You don't need my help, ma'am.

>>44068674
I doubt it... if she is, it's time she proved herself.
>>
>>44068636
That's what my old sergeant said before his head fell of the ground. Deldar don't fight fair Gary.

>>44068674
What some Wych planted a sleeper agent? Just put all the suspects under stasis and do a chem cleansing.
>>
Rolled 11 + 5 (1d20 + 5)

>>44068678
Get over here. Let me see this.
*pulls off bandages*
Oh my! that's uhh not good.
*Rolling to patch up*

>>44068708
This is bad.

>>44068720
Can't. There above me. We'll have to do this fast and quiet.
>>
>>44068708
>"Uh...alright then, but um...I'm not s-sure if I s-should head back....I m-mean...what if I...you...um...again?"
>>
>>44068720
I know, dick! I fought em a time or two. They're slippery, but they can't handle a few solid knocks.
>>
>>44068753
Who then? I'll go fetch my heavy mallet.
>>
>>44068769
They enjoy the knocks gary, its creepy. If we don't prevent whatever you are saying soon, they could wipe out the ship.
>>
>>44068762
Yeah, head on back! I ain't coming to your rescue. If your vehicle ain't operational, just walk!

>>44068753
Ain't taking a chance here and getting drawn out into any trap now.
>>
>>44068753
Yeah, it was a large metal shard. Can you believe I had almost forgotten about it?
>He chuckles but you can tell by how pale he is compared to when he first came up to you he was not doing well standing there
>Thankfully he found you though... right?
>>
>>44068796
>"I....I don't....I don't want to risk hurting you guys...You're all pretty tough, b-but...it only takes one...
>>
>>44068770
No. We gotta do this right.

>>44068769
Tell her to come back. I'll demand a mental evaluation and put them under surveillance and inject a tracker into them. Maybe we can stop this before it goes too far.
>>
>>44068836
Quit sniveling and march on back! No one is coming to rescue you!

>>44068838
Ahem, just did.
>>
>>44068838
Right? So whats the plan?
>>
>>44068832
*set's up a blood bag connected to his arm* Alright, you should be okay for now. Here's the requisition order. Pick it up and run it to the storeroom behind the Medbay.

>>44068871
Good. we should get everything ready.
>>
>>44068871
>"Not a chance mate, we're going to finish this Recce Patrol then go to ground for the night.
You or Jackson are in charge until I get back."
>The sound of a few muffled steps are barely audible before the Vox set clicks off.

>Unbeknownst to the group, Alice climbs back into the Jeep drives off, changing directions sporadically before rolling into a covered position.
>>
>>44068933
That's what I like to hear! Gary out.

>>44068910
Alright, what do have in mind?
>>
>>44068956
Oh yeah, you asked earlier but I forgot about it, I am Scottish, but I'm hardly Highland, live in Glasgow...for better or worse.
Your ancestory is bueno.
>>
>>44068910
Alright. Well, better get to it sooner rather than later, right? So, it's got the location of the explosives, right? Or am I going to have to ask?
>>
>>44068903
>>44068956
You are to get sandbags and set up a fallback position in the medbay storeroom.
Buck. You are to get the explosives and bring them to the storeroom.
Me and Gary are going to try to find a way to solve this without killing everyone.
If a firefight breaks out the storeroom will act as our rally point and fallback position. Right now we gotta prepare for the worst and try to save Alice and the assassin

>>44068981
Should be in the armory. The QM is absent so if it's locked break in and leave the order on the desk
>>
>>44068998
Roger that.
Proceeding to fortify the storeroom.
>Runs to the motor-pool to grab sandbags.
>>
>>44068998
Right. Let's get about it then. Before I do, I'm gonna find the astropath, and call in that favor I mentioned. Pray Emprah he's closeby...
>>
>>44068998
Right.
>Buck goes off to the armory at first but once he's out of sight goes to retrieve his 'Cron rifle before he actually goes to the armory to carry out the order
>>
>>44069032
Alright. I'm going to reroute the camera lines to the store room.
*as everyone stands*
The Emperor protects, and may he help us this day.
>>
>>44068972
Ah, yeah that's lowlands sure enough. How is Glasgow these days? Hear it's gotten a bit rough.

Lol, and yeah, like many Americans, we always took great pride in our Scotch - Irish heritage - until we did some research and found we didn't have that much of it after all.
>>
>>44069058
>turns on the vox
Come in, Jackson do you read?
>>
>>44069065
Eh, could be better, could be worse. Can't really complain when it could always be worse, aye?.

Also I'm looking forward to finding out how shit's going to go down in the base. I guess that helping Arthur and the boys on Gospyria II is gonna have to wait.
>>
>>44069096
Yeah go ahead.
>>
>>44069155
I got the sandbags and proceeding to the storeroom. Tell Buck to fetch some heavy stubbers in from the armory.
>>
>>44069112
Aye, this shit is very worrying. Fortunately, Gary's favor is with someone who is very expert at dealing with any problems...
>>
>>44069112
I'm fully expecting all hell to break lose soon. This is great engineering and chill, right?
>>
>>44069176
Yarp, also I wasn't sure about it, but do you think that Alice should be getting a strong sense of Deja Vu about the whole thing? Kind of similar to Daemonette's making you want to screw them.
I mean I think that Deja Vu is appropriate but...a second opinion is always good.

>>44069214
PAAAANIC. T-this wasn't my intention...I never asked for this...
>>
>>44069214
Yeah, it'll wait till next week. We need to rest, and take care of our irl bullshit
>>
>>44069243
I'm expecting the sister to be evil and thy to get Alice and the assassin to her side. And if Alice goes then so will the men under her.
And I thought you wanted me to wait outside the room and listen in.
>>
>>44069243
dont worry well bag alice and wack her till she straighten up.
>>44069259
You know you're having fun when you refer to real life situations as bullshit.
>>
Well, seems like I decided to get involved during a time of impending hecticness and chaos. Looks like this will be fun.
>>
>>44069358
That's what it seems like. When's he next thread going to be?
>>
>>44069316
Well I more meant Deja Vu to the Daemonette messing with her mind, only this time it's less obvious, but still there. And eh, IC probably not, but OOC it was definetly handy.

>>44069321
>Implying it'll be that easy to find a Praetorian that doesn't want to be found.
She's gonna go full E&E mode man. The Praetoribro's aren't going through -that- song and dance again.

Unrelated and insignificant note, Captcha is 303. MAXIMUM LRDG. Good luck, you'll still fail.
>>
>>44069243
however ya wanna play it, we'll run with it

>>44069321
Heh, hope it'll be as simple as that... Gary would hate to have to hurt Alice, but he will if he must...
>>
>>44069385
He won't have to hurt her unless he tries to take her back to base while the "Fuckyourfreewill" Aura is in full effect. Like I said, that song and dance ain't gonna fly.

>>44069380
Monday at 2PM GMT. Potentially Tuesday at the same time. Depends on what's convenient.
>>
>>44069382
Don't worry dolan knows a thing or two about hiding, he wouldn't survive 3 months behind ork territory if he didn't

>>44069385
We have a situation that needs to be handled gingerly, fighting a battle seems easier.
>>
>>44069382
I was trying to act like a friend to her. I don't know how well that went. But the whole mind control thing really set me on the 'we gotta kill somebody' path
>>
>>44069380
Yep!
>>44069416
Cool.
>>
>>44069443
They will become one with the desert. Laurencia of Arabia mofo.

>>44069458
He was doing alright until the mind influencing happened, although that isn't Jackson's fault as a person though. It's just...well, Deja Vu, and he did admit to having Clearance Codes from an Inquisitor...albeit a dead one.
>>
>>44069489
Those aren't the only codes I have. I nab them whenever I can
>>
>Another surge of psychic energies emanates from the forest
>A few minutes later, Rogan appears from the woods
I'm back, though this session is mostly wrapped up already. Well, Rogan returns and is ready for the next thread
>>
>>44069489
>>44069458
>>44069443
Yup. Looks like we need to find more proof of stuff while being prepared for anything. It's clear to us players that Amelia is behind the weirdness. Gary is connecting the dots, but won't try and kill Amelia until he knows foe sure.
>>
>>44069541
At first I didn't like her because she could 'purge' me for what I did. But now I know she's going to have to go soon
>>
>>44069524
Fair enough mang, oh well we'll see the fuck that happens next thread. I will say though that trying to go after Alice is a horrible idea at this point. She's confused, scared and somewhat inexperienced, but even she can figure out that: Suddenly Telepath>Suddenly not feeling so hot>Gets lessened with distance>Bad shit.

>>44069541
I highly doubt that Alice saying that she "feels like -that- again", referencing the Daemonette's will affect his judgement, but it might be worth a try next thread.
>>
>>44069528
Hold on this will be a big one

>>44069541
He wont touch a hair, gary is a softie for damaged goods.
>>
>>44069570
I think it's good that she's off base. So we can try to get rid of the Sister without her interfering. Plus, I'm expecting someone to notice the dead codes and do something about it. I don't know what i'll do if that happen though.
>>
>>44069623
You're right that it is, I'm just hoping that Jackson and -maaaaybe- Gary, depending on which route he takes IC can convince everyone that going out after her is an exceptionally bad idea right now.
>>
>>44069585
Lolno. As I said before, it's just the particularly zealous Sisters like Theresia. He hasn't tried to screw Alice.

>>44069560
And given what her player said, that'll be fine

>>44069570
How do you mean? Are you implying that Amelia's mind control got Gary to really push for Alice taking the D?
>>
>>44069665
No no no no, that was my bad. I mean that Gary is one of three people in the entire Regiment that actually knows the details about the Daemonette encounter. "Like -THAT-" "like that"
>>
>>44069691
Ah ok.
>>
>>44069665
Dolan has. But only because they are both deranged and has intoxication problems so he can sympathize. Though they from the different ends of the crazy spectrum
>>
>>44069660
I think or at least hope that everyone is going to jump on the purge train soon and we can fix the situation with the sister soon

>>44069691
3 people? It's me Gary and who else?
>>
Do the IG actually get 'Fire and Forget' AGM's that aren't Hunter Killers?

>>44069727
Churchill was there too IIRC, I swear he was at least....
>>
>>44069745
maybe he was. I forget. No they don't they don't have anything like them since they banned AI's. but we could probably find a few heretical ones
>>
>>44069786
Aren't HK's guided by Cogitators? It's possible that the Tripod ATGM's use them as well but...knowing the IG it's probably Laser Guided.
