They are not unique enough, and if they are congrats, no one will ever use them all. Narrow it down, either by use of geography or just random. by spreading them around your universe you will add more depth to them.

Depends how extensively they are described. If they are fully fleshed out then i call bullshit too. But if they are just few basic facts and stats then it's completely possible, there are online random generators that do precisely that in no time.
