Hey everyone, i recently downloaded some of the books for the star wars RPG, I've been meaning to play it for a long time and with the upcoming release i thought it was the right time.
im not brand new to star wars, i have seen the 6 movies a few times, and I've played Kotor 1, but I'm completely lost on the expanded universe.
I'm planning on running a game soon and i was hoping you guys could dump what you know? maybe help me out?
I'm extremely interested in the with because the players are going to be unknowingly working with the sith, and about training jedi/sith because they're going to be doing a short training arc.
any and all information will be useful if you would please. thanks.

Don't bother, it was shit anyway.
I would recommend watching Star Wars: Rebels. I personally started watching it at the Season 2 Premiere and don't feel like I'm missing anything, so you could do the same.

I thought The Clone Wars was decent (I'm specifically referring to the CG one here, though the early cartoon was pretty neat), but found Rebels to be downright puerile. Then again, I only made it something like 3 episodes in, so maybe it got better.

Rebels started off mediocre to me; it got progressively better. The moment it became good to me was when Tarkin showed up. The arc is basically, Ezra and the gang are trying to broadcast a message letting the people of Lothal know about the rebellion but to do so they have to reach an Imperial radio tower. The fight scenes between Kanan and the Inquisitor were well done.
Then the season 2 premiere knocked that out of the water because season 1 ended withthe death of the Inquisitor and the arrival of Darth Vaderwhich was pretty rad. Siege of Lothal had a lot of cool moments. Though this season I'm kinda meh on some episodes. It's bringing back a lot of Clone Wars elements, like Rex and Ahsoka, and some backstory stuff with the different characters.

Objectively shit taste. The cartoon was great, the CG series was mostly bad with the occasional cool scene.
