Of course Cervantes' message was going to be completely misconstrued, it was being presented by a genuinely good man who dedicated himself to a hopeless quest due to his innate humanity and inner goodness. Most people eat up this Impossible Dream shit because we've all had to lose something.

Because my father, the current reigning lord is aa secret dragon cult leader and is on his deathbed.
