It's double SANIC speed time. I spend all my time beating the shit out of other mobile suits with crappy weapons and stealing their weapons. Does Ancestral Awakening mean you're a Sensei?

The idea behind outposts is bringing a bit of the World in question to wherever you're setting it up.

Take Rim for example, look at the theme and the effects that are prevalent across the World, then look to popular mythology for hints. Mechanically your Serfs wouldn't have the breeding restrictions in an Outpost that they have on other Worlds, and you might be able to play with the time difference to create some interesting effects. The land around one might find itself subtly shifting to be more encouraging of Conan-esque adventure, with the wildlife getting just a little bit primeval.

The hidden elf village that time passes so quickly in could be an Outpost, as could the surreal rabbit hole that leads to a place so like, but unlike Earth.
As far as Outposts go though, a Rim Outposts (different name for each one? Still an idea on the list of maybes) would be useful primarily for it being the site of a Gateway.

I find the idea of just drifting in the stars to be a relaxing one, and it was that feeling that started the idea for Kuiper.

The point of creating the Saint wasn't about God's security anyway. It's not that God was making a plan for a hitman to protect him and didn't think it through. God was perfectly secure. Sitting on his throne of eternity, surrounded by devoted seraphim worshipping night and day, no worries.

It's this adoration, this worship, that God likes. First the angels. Beings separate from himself who were perfectly good and would certainly adore God.

Then Man. With free will and the choice of good and evil, and all that meant. Triggered the war in heaven. The fall of the angels. He wanted the adoration of beings who had the choice to hate him. It means more to him that way.

Then the Saint. A man endowed with the power to kill anyone, anything - even God himself, given the right conditions. To be loved and adored again, this time by a being with the choice not to, and every reason not to, and the power to retaliate meaningfully - it's an even bigger thrill.

Then Genesis. The point at which God's addictive behaviour, this seeking of love from ever more dangerous places, goes too far, and he spawns a monster truly as powerful as himself, and runs away.

My stance is that a tempest or typhoon is a big fucking deal, and should take a day's meditation in location to bring it about. Once in place the Creator can direct it but do little to diminish it; however without the Creator's sustenance it will disperse eventually. Lightning can be conjured once without conducive weather; with conducive weather it can be brought about multiple times a minute and with good accuracy.

For others:

Demon: Solar flares are powerful bright burning blasts that blind and destroy. The user can store up to fifteen such charges, which about 4 hours of strong sunlight to 12 hours of overcast daylight to build. Up to three can be released back-to-back or at once as a powerful blast, then about half an hour must pass. Pyrokinesis is just heat manipulation, and is more powerful the warmer the Demon and its environment. In a typical room-temperature situation the Demon can light a match-stick by touching it, and then guide the flame around the room swiftly without putting it out. The Demon can create powerful but short-lived anima from large fires like bonfires, and can wreak havoc with a furnace.

Warrior: repeating my earlier input, the Warrior can summon any object that it can carry with two hands without immediate strain with which it has killed another human. It immediately knows how to use any such implement. Using ammunition-based weapons and explosives temperorally diminishes the Warrior's regeneration if spammed. The Warrior can regenerate if all three of his heart, lungs and nervous ganglia are intact and connected with vessels and nerves etc.. He can regenerate beyond the requirements of nutrition but will be weak until he eats.

Psychotic Makoto mode engaged. I'd prefer to go 14, but don't want to be 14 forever, so 18. Don't care all that much about hair or eye color - probably dark hair, don't care about eyes. Will be HUGE. Our school is plagued by bullies and our martial arts team is pathetic. The solution to one of these problems lies with the other. Those that only pretend to take the offer get fucked with yandere sneaky powers and a LOS teleport into their room at night. Just a not-so-friendly reminder that I can be anywhere, at any time, and end them. Let the reins go on my violent side a little more for these intimidation plays. Word will get around. Bullies will eventually be forced to either try to trap me or give up preemptively.

With my reach, athleticism, unfailing stamina and Tanaka and Kasumi's help, I'm likely to be standout athlete anyway, but I want to build up the team into protectors that can extend my anti-bully beating policy. The teachers like me, but we also have Kasumi help shield us from administrative retribution because we help the school AND the team.

You still didn't solve any of the real problems with your houserules.

Builds with worldgate are automatically going to be better then builds don't know have that god power, because in the long run you can just take the best tech from the most technologically advanced settings, take the best magic from the most magically imbued settings, get much more worshipers, souls and etc. The other god powers don't even come close to offering that kind of potential growth.

The only worthwhile offensive/defensive god power to take is Aether Passage as you can just portal away all threats and send them into stars or black holes, and Area Banish because Divine Focus is incredibly exploitable.

Change of Heart is great too, but can't really be used against gods with world gate, as they'll eventually have too many important figureheads, leaders and gifted specialists among their worshippers across all the worlds they have established their presence for change of heart to work.
