Every time you cast Alter Self you need to recalculate your statblock, plus that implies you could alter self into a form with the cranial elongation already active and get the benefits of the feat without actually taking it.

Based on the rules, different bonuses stack so yes your barb is fucking strong. Especially since Stalker's Focus scales with level even if you're not a hunter.

Is it possible to make a Rogue (or a Ninja) who's decent in combat WITHOUT relying on Sneak Attacks? I play with a group who doesn't like to use a combat grid or deal with "flanking conga lines"... but I still wana play a character who's sort of the fantasy equivalent of a "special operations" agent. I want the character to be able to do things like disguise/lockpicking/infiltration/ect. but I also want them to be somewhat combat viable without needing to constantly flip over enemies and rely on my buddies to move up and flank (the other players I'm playing with aren't the greatest on teamwork). Unfortunately Rogue weapon/armor proficiency suck, even using Unchained Rogue. Is there some way to salvage this using UCRogue's Dex-to-damage or a Ninja's Ki powers or something? Hopefully in a way that they start being useful before level 10 or so?

So I'm in a Pathfinder game. I'm a conjurist Wizard. I've just hit level 3.

For my bonus feat, I'm going to grab Augment Summons, because I have Spell Focus (Conjuration)

I get three 2nd level spells per day, (1 base, 1 from 20 INT, 1 conjuration slot,) and I get to automatically learn TWO 2nd level spells.

I'm thinking that my two spells are going to be Invisibility and Summon Monster II.

I'm going to mooch off a higher level NPC Wizard, (using my glorious 7 CHA,) to learn more spells, and buy some scrolls in town to learn more.

Any other suggestions for level 2 spells?

Also. Importantish question. In the game I'm in, a bunch of the party can be useless. (Halfling Rogue climbs into tree before combat, begins pelting with sling staff.) So I've had to pick up the slack.

My big trick that can shut down multiple enemies is using Silent Image to create as many cages as I can, each around a different enemy. One way mirrors for the goblins so they can't see out, mesh fence for wolves with scent. So, does this actually work within the rules?

Also, when the duratuon of a spell is concentration, I can just hold that forever? Can I concentrate on multiple spells at once?

Veil of Secrets - 30ft. aura masks the alignment of the cleric and his allies. It also masks the auras of magical equipment and active spells. People must make a Will save DC 10+Cleric's level+Charisma modifier to recall any identifying characteristics of the subjects within the aura such as their article of clothing, facial features, race, gender, age, height, voice etc.

8th level power - Eyes of Secrets. You can cast Clairaudience/Clairvoyance as a standard action, and maintain multiple sensors equal to half your cleric level.

The Shapeshifter from the APG and the Ambush Hunter from POW:E stack.

They are Ranger archetypes, and they lose spellcasting, but they get Primal Fury, Golden Lion, and Broken Blade maneuvers.
The animal companion also gets access to Primal Fury maneuvers.
It's not true shapeshifting, but the Shufter's Blessing abilities might work better for what you want.

Well, talk to your DM about that. Teleportation, by RAW, involves travel through the ethereal plane. If you can't access it then you won't be able to teleport.

Question about Spheres casting: How do I go about itemizing for a spheres caster?

Yeah, my computer hiccuped before I could finish. Time skitter is as the /haste/ spell. The enhancement bonus to "base" speed is reference, but haste doesn't actually apply to base speed. That's an editing error that will be fixed. Use the haste spell for reference on the effects of Time Skitter and related maneuvers that call out the /haste/ spell.

You need to use Altered Penumbra in response to an attack, I'm not sure of many situations where you'd be attacked in the middle of a full attack, but if that were the case you should still be able to finish your full attack provided you still have legal targets for your attacks after you finish the actions for Altered Penumbra.

Rolling an Arcane Kitsune sorcerer with Tattooed and Ninetailed archetypes, level 11 with 25 PB. Mostly 1PP, but the GM is willing to consider 3PP. This is for either a 1-shot or a short adventure, since the GM wanted an excuse to play more often, even if it was just 1-on-1.

How do I enchantment, /pfg/? I want to be a whimsical little shit, but aside from a quick glimpse at "generic sorcerer's spell list" I have no idea what to do outside of making my DCs bigger and making sure I am almost impossible to hit. I still want a few blasts and illusions, and will undoubtedly grab at least dimension door, but I'm kind of lost.

The damage of this archetype comes from the free chained maneuvers each doing the strength, not from the single maneuver. For example the various free bull rushes you can get on shield attacks woudl deal damage now, then trigger free overrun for damage, which you can use with the feats that give a free attack on an overrun which would now trigger a bull rush on a crit repeating the process.

Ah, yeah. That's not gonna work at all with Wind Cleric, then. The main reason I thought Dungeoncrasher was neat was because it was four levels to get a fun gimmick build; I've done stuff with telekinetic bull rushes and also spammed Melf's Unicorn Arrow (using Practiced Spellcaster to get the CLs back from the dip, and metamagic to hit people multiple times in the same round).

Get still spell which comes in handy when you get grappled and a lesser silent rod so you can make enchantment attempts in public. Magic Lineage (charm or dominate person) depending on starting level. Ranks in linguistics so you can talk to creatures you enchant (most of which will probably be townspeople). Take bluff if you feel like using mundane means of fucking with people.

Not a dev, but I'd say so, since while wielding another Weapon your claws are considered to be secondary attacks. Also, with natural weapons, even though you are considered armed, you are still technically Unarmed, so I'd guess having a free hand still works.

Basically, if a Magus with claws can still use spellcombat, then einhander should still work.

Kinda, Kitsune were mischievous tricksters that ranged from "they deserved it" to downright evil, they do however possess a solid grasp of human ethics and morality that they only follow when it suits them, and often leads to the Kitsune returning a favor or seeking vengeance against a perceived slight.

The portrayal of Kitsune really depend on what story you're looking at as well, since in some they're tricksters, in others they're holy messengers, and others as dutiful wives and lovers.

Summon monster III and up are pretty good, Maybe Caustic eruption if you run into spell immune targets and want to hurt them. Grease, Glitterdust, Stinking cloud and other conjuration debuffs for winning shit then there's wall of stone.

As for other school spells Telekinesis is always useful, Maybe the Hand spells from evocation school, Explode head and Boneshatter if you want to follow the whole "If I cant make you my friend then I am going to hurt you in horrible ways" Merciful spell if you want to be ironic about it.

Shaman King had two main techniques which were used by 99% of shamans. The first was Hyoui Gattai(?) which allowed a spirit to possess the shaman and share their skills. The second was Oversoul, which channeled the spirit into a symbolic object to manifest a giant weapon/suit of armor/etc. around it out of the shaman's energy.
You can't use possession and Oversoul at the same time, but generally by the time a shaman learns how to use Oversoul some of their spirit partner's combat skills have rubbed off on them anyway.

The closest equivalent is probably that soulknife archetype that attaches their psicrystal to things.

They don't even have to make a save, they stick their hand through it because it's not solid, and immediately think "Oh, well, it must not be real." From what I've seen and heard a two-handed-weapon Fighter or an archer Ranger are the easiest classes to play. While this might be somewhat controversial to say, pick whatever feats or combat styles you want and don't worry about being 'optimized'. If your group is at least half decent you'll be fine. Two level 4 Orcs (both of them TWF with enchanted weapons,) and a pack of six level 1s wielding bows.

It was just me as a level 3 Zweihander Sentinel, and a level 3 Corsair. We had a Sorceress with us, but she only occasionally jammed the Corsair with a healing wand to keep the guy from dying.

The Sentinel OHKed one of the Orcs by vaulting off a skinned bear corpse and smashing his head in with the pommel of my greatsword, and the other guy put up a decent fight against the Corsair while my guy cleaved through the Orcs like they weren't there.

I pretty much entered on the ass-end of a story arc for the Future Faerun campaign. I may not have much of anything interesting to deliver off-hand since Lilly's build has gotten so many retcons that she may as well be written by DC. Anyhoo, her adventure kicks off by looking for her friend who lived in Calimport, but had no luck finding him. The city had gone under lock-down when news of a dangerous criminal had come in, and then the next day was a zombie apocalypse. Met up with the party and punched some vampires, almost died to a gargoyle, so for now all I can say for now is fuck DR/Magic. When looking for a power source to get a vehicle running and get the hell out, we accidentally summoned an elder lava elemental. Our Kobold Barbarian became its vessel, but subsequently lost all of her gear save for an Adamantine wrench she'd found not too long prior. It was Mad Max during our great escape.

So after our Kobold friend survived by a GM fiat miracle, we had our means of charging a battery and getting a vehicle up and running. So we found a mac truck that was more or less in decent shape. We tuned the sucker up with a make-shift cow catcher and hit the highway for the front gate. First we'd been flanked by two gargoyles, but a fancy spin here and there knocked them out of the air long enough for us to get a reasonable distance. Then we plowed through a hoard of zoms, some of which clung on for dear life. Bullrush attempts have never been more fun to make happen. Shortly after we'd been pursued by two motorcycles; two turned vamps apiece. One of whom had a fucking rocket launcher. Lilly had only been able to deal with the pair that tried to take us from the side, but our Gunsmoke had done a great job keeping the ones with the rocket launcher off-balance.

And then there was a gap in the bridge ahead and we had to ramp that shit. We weren't graceful, but we made it all the same. Unfortunately so did our blood drinking friends in hot pursuit. A mage whom we'd found managed to tangle the spokes of the ranged unit and Lilly was able to smash what was left of the melee. We'd run into another zombie hoard not long after, but we needed to slow down to not take nearly as much damage; we'd been banged up pretty badly from rockets, the previous hoard, and the sloppy jump. Of course, more of the fuckers stuck around, but our driver had been so smooth as to slam against a wall and ground our hitch hikers to bits. And then there was the boss of the arc: a proper fucking vampire. We're level 3 and fighting this bitch on the hood of a mac truck speeding down the freeway towards our escape. Her last ditch effort to stop us was with a fireball. Not at us, exactly, but at a distant building. She knocked out its support and sent it cracking down on the road.

Our new mage friend managed to entangle the vampire and her boar familiar actually succeeded in bullrushing her off of the hoot. She was finished off as we ran her ass over, but we had one final obstacle: the falling tower. We gunned it, but we took a serious hit. Because fucking rocks fell. And that's how we became level 4.

The Veils chart is much like preparing spells. That's all you get each day, but it does last all day. Viziers have an ability to swap them, but that's a different class. Daevics are naturally both talky and fighty depending on your Passion and stats, so you have an edge there.

I know Kineticist is awful, but I need some way to consume mundane sources of an element to boost my elemental spells/SLA's/etc. of that element and I figure they'd be the most likely to have something like that?

But did Ksarite Dragon have any class inspiration at all? If not what's the closest?

I'm trying to make dragon themed archetypes for each class there is a psionic dragon of, and I'm debating whether or not to make a Ksarite. It seems like it would just be a force effect focused psion or psywar.

Mages /can/ fight within, but there's a special dueling arena. People can take bets and stuff.

Alright so far what ive got is you get PP/Day, maximum power level you can manifest, concentration checks etc all from CON. You don't improve power DC from ANY stat.

You can take penalties to intelligence (that last until you rest) to either gain bonuses that last as long as the penalty does like natural armor, flight, power resistance, natural attacks etc as you become more "beastly". Taking int penalties also sequesters some of your powers similar to a metamind and applies animalistic compulsions or disadvantages like illiteracy.

However the greater a penalty you are applying to your Int, the higher the DCs of your powers are and your manifester level for the purpose of things that are not augmenting, like increased duration, range, overcoming power resistance, area etc.

So far its sounding like its basically just Psion who builds both Int and Con though. Since you'll now need CON for a lot of your bonuses and Int so that you can take a bigger penalty before reaching the serious disadvantages and/or sequestrations.

Ah whatever, Ksarites are lame anyway! Nothing to work with. Same problem as the Scourge Dragon, too few unique abilities!
