Welcome to Saiyan Quest. This takes place shortly after the war against the Tuffles, as the Saiyans look for more foes to battle in the absence of their old enemies.

Voting will operate on a first to five system, at least for the time being.

Dialogue is allowed to be added to votes, as are actions (though I'll ignore what I consider shitposting)

During battles, options will usually have a number assigned to them. After that vote has won, players will roll a d100, and have three chances to match or beat that number.

If a 100 is rolled, it is considered a crit success (unless 100 was the number you had to match).

If a 1 is rolled, it is a crit failure, regardless of whether or not the other two rolls are high enough to succeed.

If, during a battle, players want to attempt a writein action, that is allowed, but I am the one who will assign the number to it, so use caution

You're a young male Saiyan who fought in the war with the Tuffles. You are an average fighter for now, but have the potential of one of the greatest warrior races to roam the universe flowing through your veins. There is no limit to what you can accomplish through blood, sweat, and tears.

You open your mouth wide as Sabi speeds toward you, and a wave of energy shoots from your gullet. Sabi's eyes go wide, and he stops just in time to get struck in the chest by your new attack and pushed across the room, slamming into the wall and falling to the floor.

You watch him pick himself back up. He chuckles to himself.

If the weak can become strong, what does that mean for the strong? What does that mean for the Saiyan race? We've been steadily getting stronger and stronger. Other teams have too, but only because they've survived long enough to do it. What if we could become strong enough to rule the universe? Just watch. Eventually we'll be conquering planets that we'd normally have to wait for the full moon for. But most Saiyans are like Rugula. They haven't noticed this. If I can convince her, I at least have a shot of convincing other Saiyans.

Your food soon arrives; some sort of squishy thing with multiple tentacles on a large plate put between you and Azu. Two goblets are placed in front of the two of you, each one filled with a red liquid.

You take one of the provided utensils, experimentally poking at the thing before cutting off a piece and taking a bite.

It's slimy...yet satisfying, and you find that you actually enjoy it.

Taking another bite, you see Azu take one of her own. The two of you then begin scarfing down the food at an incredible pace in front of the shocked aliens, devouring until nothing remains.

Licking your lips, you pick up your goblet and consume the liquid within. It's nowhere near as strong as the drinks you can get at a Saiyan bar, but it's plenty tasty.

I really want to go on missions and impress both the King and Lord Frieza. BUT at the same time each mission has us stay in hibernation for really long times. This one to the tech planet is 3 weeks. One way. Knowing we only have 7 years before the planet blows up makes me want to use our time more wisely. But i don't really know how we can do that.
