Vinland Saga should be up on xreader too. It is a Viking manga playing out mostly in medieval England and is concerned with how King Cnut the Great came to power in the country.

Hollow fields is pretty good. Similar to rosario vampire in that a normal person gets sent to a spooky school. In this case its a school for mad scientists and the bottom student gets sent to a windmill and is never seen again. I highly recommend it if you like genius: the transgression.

Ran and the Gray World, and The Bride of the Magician.

Not really /tg/ related unfortuantely but they have many elements i'm sure that some here would appreciate

Ran's mother would also be a fun characer to put into your campaigns, just don't let your players play her. Spell caster so powerful that she has to be careful because otherwise they unconsciously alter reality.

I hate Gamble Fish and No Game No Life, but I don't have any constructive things to say about the latter.

In Gamble Fish's case though, the gambles just became silly towards the end of the manga and they got really reliant on total luck games. Kakegurui is new, but despite the front cover of anime girl bait I think it's a lot better for what it has than Gamble Fish ever had. I'd check out /a/'s favourite gambling series Akagi and Kaiji too, if you need some meatier reads.

God, Shin Angyo Onshi is my favourite manga ever. I shamelessly pilfer from it all the time when working on campaigns. I stole the tiger brother story entirely once, and I give my players access to pop-up guns in every campaign.

Still trying to figure out a way to run a villain like Aji Tae successfully. Balancing omnipotence has proven extremely difficult. I know people are really into grey villains, or the relateable evil, but Aji Tae really opened my eyes to how great an irredeemable monster could be.

Kingdom has the hands down best massed batle scenes you'll find in manga.
It's a semi historical manga about the first unifaction of China. Basically Romance of the Three Kingdoms, including the over the top characters, just set earlier.

Guilded Age was good to start, but the reveal that the medieval characters were all characters in an MMO killed it. And since then it's steadily become less about parodying adventure stories and more about political drama/corporate drama/a journalist's mission for truth with bad jokes tossed in to 'break the tension'.
