Normally not even a debate, you should take the 1-cost instants. But in my deck, the enchantments "combo" with claws of gix and teferi's care. After they've exiled something, I can grab it back with Hanna and keep exiling permanents every turn. More durdly advantage.

Leyline is love. That being said, I have thought about cutting it in the past. However, it's either bait for removal, or it lets me flash in a win condition eot. For those reasons, it stays.

As for the removals, I don't think mine is up to date (I might fix that after work actually).

The truth of the matter is that in 90% of situations, Swords/Path will be better than O-ring and friends because they're a 1 mana instant that permanently removes a problem. Ring has the added benefit of hitting non creatures and being recurable with Hanna, which can't be ignored. This is by I run Detention Sphere. Multiple nonland targets and comes back with the commander and Sun Titan. My most recent slot was making room for Stasis Snare because while it can only hit creatures, it's an enchantment with flash, which puts it well into the realm of playable in Hanna control. I really want to use Aligned Headron Network, but it's too narrow for the mana investment.

I've put a lot of tuning into my deck, and my answer is use both. Even without Gix, having repeatable removal is never bad, and worst case scenario, you bump a commander back to the command zone. Just be careful because some o-ring effects (funny enough, not actually o-ring) will pull commanders back from the command zone of they never left when the ring dies.

Ok, so how do I make her work?
Her playstyle seems like Memnarch's, but are there any special cards, other than Leyline of Singularity, that could help her case out? Like, anything that could alter their type to Legendary Creature?

I need some suggestions for my Simic deck. I had a vorel deck and then bought the simic one today to try and make +1/+1 counters.deck work just because I love counters and the mad scientist vibe of simic. Anyway, the issue I have is that my pieces are really vulnerable to removal. My deck has to have pieces out and if my board is running it's pretty easy to fuck with. Obvious answer is counterspells and the like, and I'm probably gonna get an aspect of endurance, but is there anything else that does pretty well at protecting my guys?

I just got the Daxos (white/black) Commander deck today, and it works nicely but I want to add some blue including Vela, the Night-Clad. What would be the best way to do that?

Of course legend isn't a creature type. Shapesharer can turn shapeshifters into copies of other creatures though. So you use Unnatural Selection to turn a creature into a shapeshifter, and then turn it into a copy of a legend to steal it.

I love Jeleva and made her my commander with the Mind Seize 2013 commander deck.

Which cards should i be getting to abuse her and do some fun sick combos involving free casts and suchs.

I know about using spell cloners to copy the free spells for massive effects, what else should i be aiming to get?

Also how does Jeleva work with creature clones like Clever Impersonator? Does the Clever impersonator trigger as Jeleva and exiles for 4? or does he exile for 3 which is his manacost, also can i bounce Jeleva back to my hand while she is on the stack to avoid her dying as the clone hits the field?

Is anyone able to help on a ruling? I have two main decks, a Purphoros artifact spammer and a Kruphix eldrazi dumper, but due to my newness, I've encountered some difficult situations.

1) Assuming Purphoros is on the battlefield, does Warden of the Wall http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=247130 cause purpheros' ability to proc every opponent's turn? I think it does, because it enters the battlefield as an artifact, but becomes a creature, thus a creature that wasn't on the battlefield before has entered the battlefield. If purpheros' text said each time you cast a creature spell I'd feel differently, but it says "Whenever another creature enters the battlefield under your control" and I think the warden of the wall counts as a creature entering under your control, then leaving on your turn.

2)The other question I have is a little more complex. Assuming I have Artisan of Forms http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=373742 in my graveyard, if I cast Artisan of Kozilek http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=193429 does the Artisan of Froms heroic proc? I don't think it does because the target creature bonus effect would fizzle since it's in the graveyard, but since it enters the battlefield in the same statement that it was targeted, it might work.

Any thoughts?

It works like you think. You cast Artisan of Kozilek. Because you did this, its triggered ability goes off and thus goes on the stack on top of Artisan. So you're looking at:
Artisan of Kozilek trigger
Artisan of Kozilek creature spell
Because the stack resolves from top to bottom, the triggered ability will happen first and then Artisan of Kozilek will enter the battlefield. Assuming nobody else does anything, that is.
Counters work a similar way. The counterspell is higher on the stack than the spell it's trying to counter, so the counterspell will resolve first and throw that targeted spell into the graveyard.

Time magic is generally used with her, some people like to use extra combats, but I don't because the benefit is marginal compared to extra turns. Time Stretch, Time Warp, and Beacon of Tomorrows are your best bets because they don't exile themselves. Feel free to use more if you want, though. Fork effects are never a bad idea, either. I use Twin Cast, Reiterate, and Reverberate plus Chandra since she'll copy what I cast with Jeleva for "free" which is nice. The rest of my deck is Modal bounce control, so it's a little different than most Jeleva decks I've seen. The core time magic is there, though.

As the others have said, clones like Clever Impersonator will trigger as a copy of Jeleva and exile whatever you paid to cast the clone. Clone and Impersonator would exile 4 assuming that's what you paid for them. Note that if you cast Jeleva again, the clone would go away and you would not be able to cast the cards exiled by the clone, only the new Jeleva. As for tokens like Rite, they technically trigger when they come into play, except you paid 0 and thus will exile 0 cards.

People include Rite of Replication for the same reason they include Army of the Damned. It's a big splashy spell that can do a ton of work. In this case, it's not to copy Jeleva, but some other thing on the table. I don't use them because I want to rely on my opponent as little as possible, and my creature selection is extremely limited. This way, I am completely self sufficient, but can totally abuse something of my opponent's if I want. Too many people who make clone.dec flop because their opponents hit a dry spot, so they themselves hit a dry spot.

If there are no creatures in your graveyard, then yeah, that's what happens. If you want to revive Artisan of Forms, then that'll happen before Artisan of Kozilek enters the battlefield.

Heck, you can Plasm Capture that thing at any point before it resolves. If you're trying to do this as a cute way to use its trigger to revive itself, that won't work, though. The trigger enters the stack as soon as you cast Artisan of Kozilek and as soon as that happens you have to decide on the target creature card in your graveyard. After that, you're free to cast Plasm Capture.
Or you can let the ability resolve to revive a creature and then Plasm Capture Artisan of Kozilek.

On a bit of an aside, how does a mana curve work when deck constructing? It sounds fun because it's BW goodstuff, and almost every other BW commander will do it better in execution than Daxos. If your meta is more casually tuned and slow, then go for it, but if anyone is actually trying to win with any amount of speed and/or plays any amount of control, don't bother.

Bullshit. BW is one of the worst combinations as far as generals go. Teysa 1.0 and Karlov are practically the only playable ones.

And Daxos flies in as yet another shitty commander. What's your point? Every other BW commander will outperform Dax for the time and mana investment with the exception of maybe Triad. Then again, Triad might actually be able to do something relevant before Daxos does, so there's that.

Nigger no. He's fine in your 99 but god damn he's pretty bad as a commander. Daxos can just sit there and vomit out huge dudes. You only have to cast a few enchantments and suddenly you're paying 3 mana for 7/7 dudes at instant speed.

That's an entire hand's worth of enchantments cast WITH DAXOS ON THE TABLE to get to that point. If you're only casting 3cmc enchantments, that's 21 mana, plus 7 cards, plus the 3 mana to cast Daxos before you even get any fucking value out him. THEN you have to pay MORE mana get some vanilla beaters. You're more likely to win with the enchantments you've cast than you are with anything remotely involving Daxos, and at that point.
