There are only two acceptable answers.

One, you have a base inside an asteroid or planet, similar to the moon.

Two, Mount Rushmore. And it needs to be mobile. This is valid even if you are not a US citizen.

Is it wrong to make a Vampire Cult that does good things? Provides food, shelter, and water. As well as aid in natural disasters, disease outbreaks, and military protection. All that's required is faith and blood, like negotiated in liters of blood.

Vampires would be the clergy who would have their fangs surgically removed. Death would be a cremation or donating the body to the church. Donated corpses are mummified and put to work.

How often would payments be required?

Would people with blood borne diseases or health complications be excluded?

What about those with mental health issues?

Would donated bodies keep a semblance of intelligence or be mindless servitors?

Would you be allowed to pay your respects to those who have their bodies donated much like one would go honor a grave?

Questioning minds need to know!
>>
>>43554953
You'd need to keep an eye on the individual like most of anything else but it sounds alright. What setting? What strain?

Question for Redline. What's the restriction on the 'vehicle' import? Are we talking 'stick with cars and motorcycles,' or is it 'anything goes so long as it stays on the ground'?
>>
>>43555762
I'm not the jump's creator, but going by the movie it's almost certainly "anything goes so long as it stays on the ground".

>>43555950
>One guy has a car the size of a small country
>Now everybody gets a country-sized car
>An entire solar system is the racetrack
>>
>>43555950
That's not the point though, anon.
The point is you can buy the LoT a tunneling drill. And spider legs. Robo-spider legs and a drill, anon.
>>
>>43555950
The LoT IS a race track. Honestly you could probably host a Red Line knockoff there yourself.
>>
>>43555950
Actually, there is. Redline races take place over an entire planet. Even 216 kilometers isn't big enough to win the race just by showing up.
>>
>>43556006

>>
For someone who doesn't know Final Fantasy all that well, is there a suggested order to do the FF jumps in?
>>
>>43556137
Leaving aside the hover jets in jump and the fact the LoT isn't really an in-atmosphere-flight vehicle, there's always importing it into Supernatural as a car. With all its abilities intact.
>>
>>43556177
I don't think there is, really. Any one of them you're going to wind up having to fight God (or a close equivalent) by the end, so there's not much difference in difficulty. Might as well just pick one that sounds interesting and start there.
>>
>>43556207
Hover jets aren't really flight, though. They're still attached to the ground (or above water), just via a cushion of air. At best you might get better air time if you go careening off a cliff, but you're still going to go down.

But yeah you could absolutely import it and that would work.
>>
>>43556177
Ordinarily it'd be numeric order, but there's a bit of a monkey wrench in that regard. Personally, I'd go:

Crystal Chronicles -> VI -> VII -> VIII -> IX -> X -> XI -> XII -> XII:RW -> XIII -> XIII-2 -> XIII-3 -> Type-0 -> XIV

Most of the settings are independent of each other, like Zelda or Breath of Fire. There are a couple that have direct sequels, and you should probably do those in order, but other than that it doesn't matter.

This is awesome.

For "God-Forged Craft", I'd change "completely indestructible" to "nigh-indestructible", since in the very same sentence you indicate that it's not actually completely indestructible.

For "Dragon's Teeth", perhaps the teeth should also replenish each dawn if the soldiers are lost?

For "Necklace of Harmonia"... welp. Yeah, the greek deities could be serious assholes, and this fits. Kudos.

As a slight critique-may I just say I preferred the first Demigod capstone to the current one? It's a neat trick and all but I can't help but feel as written, Demigods seem to be a tad lacking in being able to defend themselves compared to the other backgrounds
>>
>>43556759
Oh man, I just took a second look at the Demigod capstone now that you've brought it up, and I love it. I've been looking for something like that for a while. Xena Anon, if you do change the capstone, please incorporate that perk somewhere.
>>
>>43556802
Ditto, this is a nice capstone. Rather torn between all the (written) capstones, actually. This is going to be one of those jumps where I weep for points...

>>
I'm new to jumps and have a question. If the initial set up allows you to purchase specific but not restricted equipment, is there anything stopping me just purchasing or acquiring it during the jump without using points at the start?
>>
>>43557144
Nope. You're always free to chase down any item you might want in-jump. Do note, though, that many jumps offer for purchase things that are better than exist in the setting naturally.
>>
>>43556540

Did...did you read the same conversation as me? Because you have veered off about 50 miles into the ocean from what we were talking about, namely you wanting power and confirming it in your own post.
>>
>>43557376
Basically he's saying that yes, he does want incredible amounts of power, but he plans to do good things with it. But he's missing that that's not really relevant to a conversation about game balance, and even if he has good intentions that doesn't excuse making something so strong so relatively cheap.

I don't know if you've played Undertale, but everything you'd done and planned reminds me of the Genocide Route in that game because all you do is smash and ruin everything in your way that you disagree with, and then try to justify your atrocities by thinking of yourself as the protagonist. This has been pointed out before: What if I want to kill all the people who specifically don't want to be killed, hurt all the people who specifically don't want to be hurt? You're restricting my freedom to cause genuine suffering in the unconsenting.

This is just proof why your idea is a sickening, awful concept. And even if that was what you were going for SCP 106 was an awful choice to use as an example of what you intended to bring about because ALL its victims were nonconsenting.

My warehouse is covered in marble statues and decoration, it's basically all marble in a mixture between the taste of renaissance sculpture and Gothic complexity, took me almost 40 years to cover the entire place (that is double the normal size). I plan to add plants in it (once i solve the sunlight issue, i don't really feel like covering the place with sunlamps) but for now it's kinda sterile, with hidden holographic interfaces to interact with my supercomputer/Ai that manage the warehouse maintenance, the robomaids and actual storage (that consist mainly in minecraft diamond chests stacked in the underground floor i got from the sims jump). Upon entering you have the Medbay/genetic lab to the right, workshop to the left and you can see the imposing (also heavily redecorated) demon king mansion from Demon king Daimaou in at the opposite end that i use as my living quarter/library/party place.
Also i need to graft human looking skin on my robomaids (that are now steel shiny), what's the best jump to develop that?

Well it'll be something that I'll be setting up first in 40k (LoT) then set up again in most settings. The strain is Lahmian from Warhammer Fantasy, I took Genevieve Dieudonné complication in WHF. I protected her while she did her thing, which also happened to be End Times. So, the world was ending and she was trying to get Vampiric rights recognized.

>>43555454
How often? I would say twice, once for accepting a job and another for completing the job. How many liters of blood depends on the job, the number of people helped, and how many days it takes to complete it. More people helped more people are needed to donate. This shores up a healthy surplus of blood, which would be needed to absorb losses. Like say a large settlement is in need of help. Every eligible person able to give blood would be required to do so. If the job is done quick then that large payment would be enough. If not another round of blood donations would be required as payment. As blood bags are .5 to .7L of blood, it won't kill you to donate twice.

As for funeral rights, there would be a wake & funeral as normal. However instead of burying the body, you choose to cremate or give back. Cremation is free, & the family gets the ashes. Donating the body, after the funeral the casket is emptied of the corpse. The corpse is then mummified, wrapped in linen, given a deathmask & animated.

They're mostly used as symbols of faith. All menial labor is done by robots, who are designed to look like the mummies. As such you won't be able to tell difference between the robot janitor & the undead candleholder at a quick glance.

When a mummy zombie is no longer able to function. Then they'll be stripped of the flesh, their bones would be part the honored. So they'll be used to make church decorations. If you ever seen the Catacombs of France, with skull walls, bone chandeliers...etc. That's how churches are decorated. They're the honored dead. Again the donation is optional & requires consent.

>My dark work has hit a bit of a snag

And then there's the biggest thing. I just caught up with Steven Universe and while I feel recent events might prompt an update, I'm not exactly sure WHAT to do with the whole caste system Gems seem to have on Homeworld.

There will, regardless of how that goes, be a new drawback.

Meme-en Universe [+200 CP] - Why would you subject yourself to this? Things are just generally less sensible around here - from a certain technician Gem eating triangular corn chips and acting like a stereotypical /v/ poster all the time to a certain small blonde child being a literal demon and everyone making terrible puns all the time while crying and singing... look. I warned you, alright? You didn't listen, but I warned you.
>>
>>43558264
I didn't. I mostly forgot they were there. Even if I paid attention to them, I don't think I would kill them. Jar-Jar's annoying, but the rest of the Gungans seemed pretty nice. I could bond with them over our mutual revulsion for Jar-Jar.

>>
>>43558327
Nothing is worse then your logic.
>>
>>43558352
As I seem to have forgotten to mention, this would also come with a fix to any unclarified mechanics (i.e. Half-Gems get the line about "choose a real-life gemstone you inherited from your mother," and possibly the same "import a gemstone to be your Gem" option that full Gems get, for the same added 300 to the Background's price, clarification on what exactly "all Gem perks" means for You Were Made? (yes, people were confused by the wording on this), etc.)

tl;dr, all that stuff I forgot to explain in the first edition of the Jump will be explained.
>>
>>43558379
Did they ever show us what happens to halfies with shattered gems?
>>
>>43558214
Alpha Psyker wouldn't stack upon itself. You'd get Alpha Psyker in other disciplines but you won't have say Alpha Psyker (Telepath) x5. Now Alpha (40k) & Alpha (LoT) would stack. Making you Alpha+, but they're from two different jumps.
>>
>>43558162
It's only a bad idea because of the warp. Just be conservative in your use of psyker powers while in the 40k verse, then when the warp is no longer a problem you're clear to go weapons free.

> I'm not exactly sure WHAT to do with the whole caste system Gems seem to have on Homeworld.
We still don't really know what exactly it all entails, other than that there are at least three or more different castes, those being fighters, engineers, and servants. I mean, I guess you could put in some stuff about choosing your role? But since we don't know exactly what gems pertains to what (and may likely never know, for that matter), it may be better to just stick to being really vague and let people figure it out on their own.

Oh! And... while we're on the subject, I guess there's been some debate about Half-Gems actually being superior to full gems? I guess it would be nice if you weighed in on that?

I don't watch the show, how much do we know about the castes? Do we know enough so that you could make Gem a variable-cost origin, you're given a few choices and pay more or less based on which caste you select, and then the more expensive castes get some better stuff?
>>
>>43558410
I really don't get your point of view there. Power transfer just shift power over, and is from a setting where the powers pretty much all are from your soul, which is pretty much in line with psykers. So it should transfer over the person's power straight up, leaving them a weaker psyker or not a psyker anymore. If anything with how the stuff power transfer was based on works, it should have a harder time transferring over disciplines.
>>
>TFW no drawback that makes you Jar Jar Binks.

It's most likely Bad Things, but it's not been shown yet. It's probably gonna be some sort of Final Episode Big Reveal or something*.

Well, we don't know very much, save that Pearls are combination servants/status symbols (which is where the Pearl we know probably gets most of her /issues/ from), Peridots are technicians of some sort, and Quartzes are soldiers. This would leave Diamonds as some sort of ruler caste, and who knows what caste Lapis would fall into.

We don't quite know how this ties into their physical stats yet.

Otherwise...eh. Never liked the deep ocean, and we had other stuff to do than bother with a bunch of weird amphibious duck people who aren't even progressing and just spend all day swimming around their bubble-cities.

Conflict is the right of every sapient being. More to the point self-determination; Free Will is the fundamental gift and only unalienable right man and angel has. You seek to strip the one thing that defines sapience and play a tyrant god.

You are an unholy anathema to all thinking beings. You are so unspeakably, unfavorably, unimaginably at odds with the fundamental essence of determination. Not even Satan would stoop to such lows, for the fallen archangel of Will too treasures and understands fundamentally why it is the gift given to man and angel.

You, bancho, are far far worse than Satan. Your desire is the most despicable thing I can think of to God's eye and can only hope that you aspire to create your vision in some world where its creator descends from on high and smites you to nothing.

I kindof think that sounds wrong, but I wanted to know if Wakfu had an opinion on it.
I dunno.

>>43558506
Well, soldiers are apparently supposed to be huge, if Peridot's word and Rose and Jasper's size are any indication. And there are gems who are apparently specifically made for technical skills and thinking. But like I said, other than Pearl, we don't even know what gems correlate to what tasks.

Alright so I had this idea floating about my head and am trying to hammer it out.

Monster Inc gave us the ability to power things via Emotions. Do we have a way to scan for emotions though?

Currently my best idea is just covering a planet in like transmitters hooked up to each kind of emotion. Should great anger emerge somewhere, I get a broadcast.

Can anyone recall any tech or magic across any of the available settings that lets someone search for emotions? Possibly as astrological distances?

Dimensional Shenanigans are fine, it's bouncing around to different alternate worlds within that singular universe. It' wouldn't give you access to go to Star Wars for example.

I can't think of any time related shenanigans that took place, though Rick could probably do it.
>>
>>43559682
Dimensional shenanigans are allowed provided that they are contained to the dimensions of that setting. So DC lets you go to Bizarro World if you figure out how, you can bounce around between Mechanus and Limbo in Order of the Stick if you want, things like that. So you could do the same in Rick and Morty. Any dimensional tech you brought to other jumps, though, would still be confined to their setting. So if you took Rick's portal gun to Forgotten Realms, you could still only move between the different planes in Forgotten Realms.

Honestly in a show like Rick & Morty there's nothing you can do with Time Travel that you couldn't do with dimensional or planetary travel. Want to go to ancient Rome? Boom, here's a dimension where... where everyone is stuck in Roman times. Also, everyone has three breasts because (belch) why not? Why not have three breasts. Even... even the guys, sure, why not, even the guys.
>>
>>43559713
>>43559769
meh, Rick & Morty there would be a reality for everything basically, a world identical to the star wars one would probably exist, even if there is no time travel, and i'm positive i've seen some massive bullshit like time freeze, the possibilities are endless.
>>
>>43560148
The fact of the matter is that dimensional travel is allowed.

So is 'time freezing'. There are multiple time manipulation powers present in the chain, so that complaint itself doesn't hold any water.
>>
>>43560148
There might be an alternate world that is very similar to Star Wars, but probably wouldn't have the force. Might be plenty worlds that are very similar to other worlds we've been to, but they would still rest within the rules of the universe that have been shown thus far. Like no magic for example, no supernatural qualities.

Dimension hopping within the context of the show is not a big boon, In fact is a danger more than anything else. Council of Ricks would probably be interested in a Jumper.

Bull fucking shit.

First off, literally all you have to do to spare her is hammer Mercy over and over until she stops fighting. She doesn't turn yellow, but the game even told you a couple screens ago that might be possible. People don't always solve it the first time, but it's eminently solvable.

But second? The game is programmed so Toriel won't kill you - after she gets you down enough her bullets are programmed to move out of your way so they can't hurt you. It's theoretically possible to take enough damage to kill yourself before she switches to the new pattern, but you basically have to be hit just right - so you're either the unluckiest moron in the world or a lying sack of shit.

Chaos is applied to so many different concepts from the ramblings and awkward seduction methods of Dr Ian Malcom, to the ruinous powers, to one domain of the alignment system in D&D, to red magic in Magic The Gathering.

Chaos covers quite a range of things. Pick a sufficiently useful and beneficial definition of the term and steer her towards those things in the name of chaos.

Chaos can be a synonym for evil. it can be an alternative to the holy or infernal. it can harken back to that which existed before and to which all shall eventually degrade. It's all a matter of perspective and semantics. Leverage that.

You really do. She aborts most attacks once you get down to 2HP, and switches immediately to whiffit mode after that. I think the only one she doesn't immediately abort is the one where fire pools at the bottom of the screen, which will persist long enough and do enough damage that you can kill yourself if you go into it with low enough HP. So, yeah, you really either have to be trying to get her to kill you, or you have to have the worst luck imaginable.

So, I haven't played the game, but to advocate for the devil for a moment here, if I understand correctly, the game ignores your attempts to refuse to fight her, yes? unless you really spam it, yeah?

Generally, in games, that's not a sign that you just need to try harder. most of the time, it's a sign that the developers want to force you into a course of action. if I'm playing Zork, no matter how many times I tell the game "go super saiyajin" the game is never going to suddenly make me a neon Aryan avatar of battle. It's just not programmed to.

I'd be pretty pissed if I found out that a mechanical convention of the game was being subverted to push me towards doing something horrible for which I am punished like that.
>>
>>43562121
The game also tells you, inside it and outside, that you dont have to kill anybody. Also I think one of the frogs at the start of the game says you can spare things if they are not yellow (meaning they can be spared). It was a pretty big hint for me at least going into the Toriel fight.
>>
>>43562121
>>43562173
Also, if you do spam Spare, her responses do change immediately.

Granted, the initial change is from one elipses to two, then to three. But to any gamer with half a common sense that IS a sign to try harder.
>>
>>43562173
I still don't think it's unreasonable to think that after the third or fourth attempt to spare her failing, that the developer is just a dick. Same as when playing half-life and you can't open the door to get at the G-Man, I didn't KEEP trying to open the door. a couple of taps to the "act" key failing to open the door usually means, no, that door's never going to open, find another way.

I'm starting to get the feeling that the game has a rather sanctimonious vibe, to be honest.
>>
>>43562237
See >>43562220
>>
>>43562121
For one, you're outright told a few rooms before that sometimes you're going to have to Spare people without their name being yellow. It makes sense in context. Then, actually Sparing her gets a unique response that's different than everything else, and it changes every time you take the option.
Not to mention you have an infinite amount of time to figure that out since you can't die in the fight.

Though now that I think about it, it's probably meant to get you to reset since you get a really interesting piece of information that isn't brought up until the ending if you reset and spare her.

>>
>>43562270
Not without copious amounts of therapy and years of mental care.

Or unless you have mind magic, that could also work.
>>
>>43562121
Well, if you hit Spare, which is the command to spare people, normally if you haven't done what's required to spare an enemy you get no response and they just go straight to attacking you.
It's like a puzzle, see, where in order to spare a monster, you have to perform certain actions first, and then hit the Spare command, and then they'll leave the battle peacefully and drop some gold for you, and good times are had by all.
But if you haven't "solved the puzzle", they just ignore it. No response, no dialog, just straight to killin'.

Thing is, Toriel DOES respond to it. She starts out with an ellipses, then a longer ellipses, and then an even longer one after that, and then she starts talking to you each time you spare her. Like, with actual dialog that changes up each time you hit Spare, so if nothing else you might be try at least trying to exhaust all her dialog.

It's honestly not that hard. I actually did it by accident my first time through the game, just because I wanted to see all the things.
>>

Oh. Shit. I just got murdered by an eight year old, didn't I.
>>
>>43562723
I think I still would have resented it at 10. I DEFINITELY don't think fighting (even if she holds back from a killing blow) is a healthy way to protect someone. It sounds all kinds of creepy and abusive to me, even if it's done with the best of intentions.

It's also mechanically hypocritical of the game to allow HER to stay her hand and refrain from killing you, but not give you the same chance to just *wound* her and leave her unable to stop your escape.

I'd rather die free than live in a cage though.
>>
>>43562772
>I would have resented it at 10.
10 year olds resent a lot of things done for their own good. Doesn't mean you should've been allowed to run into a monster hoard. Hell, I find the fact that you can question that at all to be suspect, because nobody would ever do anything but condemn a parent in real life for letting their child run into a bear cave just because they wanted to.

Nope.

>>
>>43562772
Actually, no, it's very fair. There's a whole bunch of factors that feed into the PCs insane damage potential, but basically monsters don't actually have bodies.

They're literally dust held together with magic, and they all innately have a measure of emphatic ability. Any and all attacks that are performed are actually the channeled hatred of a soul so steeped in hatred it transcended its own death- basically, any attack you make, at any time, WANTS to be a crit hit, and all the monsters have type vulnerabilities anyways.
>>
>>43562830

Well, here's the thing.

We're SAYING: "You need to save Toriel!", but in fact, she fully expects you to murder her ass. Basically her speech before the fight is, "If you go past this point, people are going to try to kill you. So, if you want to keep going, prove how strong you are."
If you actually kill her, she doesn't look shocked or pissed off. She just kindof smiles and asks you to be good, before she dies.

If anything, the way it comes across in the game, it's sortof more like a test of strength than "I am gonna kick your ass for disobeying me". You're also given the ability to run away, heal, stock up on healing items, the whole nine yards. So, really, between all that and the whiffit mode, you're almost encouraged to try every option.

But even if you fail, she doesn't blame you. She just asks you to be a good kid.
That and the generally caring nature she displays before that (wanting to give you a place to live, baking you pies, worrying about your safety) gives off a pretty motherly vibe, so a lot of people get attached to her.

Most people end up killing her not because they want to, but because they thought they had to bring her down to low HP first, and the game suddenly blindsides you when you do an automatic super crit halfway through the fight.
So. Yeah.

I guess I'm also not bothered by it because it's a game, so y'know, if anything I'm the one forcing the eight year old to take fireballs to the face because I want to progress.
>>
>>43562953
>Most people end up killing her not because they want to, but because they thought they had to bring her down to low HP first, and the game suddenly blindsides you when you do an automatic super crit halfway through the fight.

Yeah, that's the kind of mechanical convention I've been trained to expect. There's plenty of cases in Super Robot Wars games where the only way to get an ally is to beat them within an inch of their life and THEN use the "Negotiate" option.

I doubt many of us did that, because the path to making the Light of Terra gigantic (er, more gigantic) already involves it being able to turn into a giant robot. That is actually pretty concerning considering I am going to have the HSoTD Brains perk. Does this mean I NTR everyones waifu when I defeat them?

>Admiral and Fleet Girl may not purchase normal Fleet Girl companions

This is the confusing part. This would mean that Admirals and Fleet Girls can only get Abyssal companions.
>>
>>43563936
Probably a typo.

>Admiral and Fleet Girl may not purchase normal Fleet Girl companions.
That's fukken stupid. Into the ignore pile it goes.
Gotta have muh battlewagons

Then I will strong arm Armstrong with my strong arms...

Alternatively, beat Armstrong within inch of death but enough so I can bring him back to full health. Because he believes might makes right so if I beat him, I could even get his stuff.

Hell, if I get to Warhammer 40k or such, let's import him as Orc and let him fight his own wars as Warsenator
>>
>>43563936
Yeah, I'm thinking either that's a typo or MoeAnon was on a particular brand of drugs that day.

Then again. He might've just been hungry.

Nah, it doesn't necessarily mean romantic love. The only part that's mandatory is loyalty. They could still keep their other relationships intact.

So would it be bad to suggest for us to get a LN DxD jump to fill in the gaps the anime jump doesn't? Plenty of important things aren't covered yet.

Obvious typo, folks.

No, it's mentioned like twice in the entire segment, but they have a thing for each other.

Pretty sure the existing jump covers both fine anon.
>>
>>43564067
It's bad. You have no real justification, you just come across as whiny and petulant that you can't deal with the fact the jump focuses on the media you don't like.

Any way to become a Sin Eater in the chain?

Not meaning the White Wolf 'Geist' property, more along the lines of one who cleanses souls of their impurities and sins by 'eating' away at the filth and redeeming them in some fashion.

>>
>>43564466
There's a couple perks to win people over but nothing that absolves sin.
>>
>>43564466
First that comes to mind is the perk 'Delicious and Nutritious' in Darkstalkers which allows for you to obtain sustenance from odd sources - an example of which is 'murderous urges'.

Not the be-all-end-all of what you're looking for, but a good start.

You could hypothetically do something similar if you had Witch and preferably Inner Jumper from Discworld. Witches can remove pain and store it as a sort of spirit; this is stated to be potentially dangerous, and while the ways in which it can go wrong are never elaborated on a pain spirit can split solid objects apart.

The practice of Borrowing deals with guiding living beings by melding your fundamental essence and consciousness into them-it's effectively mind control, but in practice it's both less direct and more metaphysical.

Developing those techniques, it should be possible to extract and materialise the abstract concept of evil from others.
>>
>>43564067
I'm only one anon, but I'd enjoy having something like that. I'd like it for a lot of properties, actually. Return trips are too bloody expensive, but sometimes I don't get to spend as long as I'd like in a setting.

I say if you can make it good, make it.
>>
>>43565177
If you want that, you get drawbacks for letting you stay longer because of x event, not your bullshit trying to make multiple jumps in one setting.
>>
>>43554953
age of ice has a vampire civ, ans a religion that turns them into this if you choose it.

Empyrean Order.
>>
>>43556207
There's a part somewhere that gives the LoT in atmosphere or fighter handling in one of the dlc
>>
>>43565201
Save for the part where the vast majority of settings, and particularly the ones I want to stay longer in, don't HAVE those drawbacks.
>>
>>43565302
Then ask for them instead.
>>
>>43565302
Go to Terminator, take the drawback where you stay 40 years.

Keep that drawback for every jump afterward.
>>
>>43565268
Part 3, DEldar.
>>
>>43565315
Maker ruled you can't do that.
>>
>>43565315
You can only keep drawbacks if it doesn't benefit you. That very obviously does.
>>
>>43565447
That's never been a stated rule by anyone with any power.
>>
>>43565465
Noooo, that's always been the rule. From the beginning when it was first considered. They're still drawbacks mate.
>>
I can't decide if The Comfiest Couch In The Multiverse from Nine to Five is worth it.
I'm afraid I would sit there all day everyday if i take it, damn it looks confy tho.
>>
>>43565510
Nope. Never ever been the rule. It's a shitty little made up thing you've been repeating the last 100 threads.
>>
>>43565516
Consider the following:

There is no regulation against building a hoverboard /underneath/ The Comfiest Couch so you can travel everywhere while still sitting in it. Provided your science/magic/psionics is sufficiently advanced, of course.
>>
>>43565528
Yes, anon. All those drawbacks instantly become perks for you to use. Makes far more sense.
>>
>>43565544
Sorry, can't hear you over the fact that you made your shit up and it's never been a rule. You've just been trying to force things to be how YOU want.
>>
>>43565528
I...distinctly don't remember anyone repeating that for the last few hundred threads.

At all.
>>
>>43565542
How bad of a idea would it be to science/magic up the Comfiest couch?
>>
>>43565528
Dude, that's been the way it is all the way since the start. It's why there were so many arguments over stuff like that one Legend of Zelda one, since people argued whether or not being in the Protag's place was a benefit or not.
>>
>>43565569
See >>43565559
>>43565559

It's never been a rule. Show me where it became one.
>>
>>43565447
>>43565510
Uh, that's subjective. Some would argue that having to stay 40 years on, say, 40K or Twilight isn't a good thing.

Though if that's the case, might use Epic Speed from Endless Legend instead, which is +0CP anyway, so not really a 'bad' drawback to begin with.
>>
>>43565561
He's over-dramatizing. I have no dog in this fight, but this anon's becoming recognizable for going "You've been doing x for every thread in the past stop being a faggot."

>>
>>43565581
Since it was first agreed drawbacks could be kept? Dude, this is pretty much an assumed thing. If you don't want to believe it that's your issue.

>>43565598
You're getting extra time to spend in a jump, something you want to get. It's a benefit.
>>
>>43565648
>Since it was first agreed drawbacks could be kept?
Provide evidence. You're trying to push an unwritten rule without any proof whatsoever.
>>
>>43565661
Drawbacks being able to be kept is also an unwritten rule anon.
>>
This is really one of the moments when the best thing to do is probably to go "You know what? You want to wank it that way, fine, just don't stuff it down somebody else's throat."

It's like those talking points about "best perks" or "best ways to spend CP". Just nod, smile and move on.
>>
>>43565581
You're right, it's not a rule. The rule is all drawbacks go away at the end of the jump and you can't keep them at all. Please stop making up rules for the sake of powergaming.
>>
>>43565669
Right, but it's also one that everyone is aware of being discussed. You have yet to provide any evidence for your claim.
>>
>>43565699
Neither have you. Why are you trying to force this rule of yours?
>>
>>43565669

Yeah, I know they're cool. I'll defiantly choose them when I get to Age of Ice. They're kinda more evil than what I'd like, they're kinda like Pre-French Revolution. The upper crust (Vampires) have it all, and lower levels have barely anything.
