As it should be.

I think someone has mistaken the Tau for dark eldar somehow.
>>43555643
Wouldn't Tau teritories take up too little space to be visible on a map of this scale?
>>43556476
The Tau do have a big empire, it's just that everyone compare it too the Imperium, Necron dynasties etc....
>>43556626
No, it's about the size of a dime from this perspective.
>>43556626
>The Tau do have a big empire
No, they have several dozens of worlds, all connected via incredibly slow FTL tech, which makes it impossible for their space to more than a tiny circle on this map.
The tau are a minor species among thousands living in the space between imperial worlds, many of which are more dangerous and powerful than them, and these are GWs own words.
>>43556720
The Sautekh dynasty which is the largest Necron dynasty is about 500 worlds. See it in this map.
The Tau Empire is 100+ worlds.
The should be visible from this perspective and quite big.
>>43556754
>>43556754
>No, they have several dozens of worlds,
Hundred plus worlds and rapidly increasing and you know what is really in GW's own words? That the Tau are among the major players in the galaxy. Their FTL currently is between 1/5 and 1/3 Imperial warp speed.
>>43556761
Milky way has around 300 bilion satars, and at least 100 bilion planets. This map has less than a milion pixels. Tau would be 1/1 000 000 pixel sized in this map. No, they would not be visible. Imperium having a bilion worlds is the one single time GW did not fuck up the scale.
>>43556792
The Imperium is 1 million worlds. Give and take.
The number of worlds does not translate into how huge your territory is. For instance, the Sautekh dynasty is 500 worlds and look how big their space empire is. It's encircling Ultramar.
The Tau hold 1/5 the number of the Sautekh worlds and should appear in the map also.
>>43556792
Imperium "only" has around one millions world. Most of the space beetween these worlds is uncharted/lack of interest.
Also, as said by >>43556813 Sautekh's Empire must also contains 500 worlds that are dispersed over a large area.
The Tau Empire is mostly contained contained over an "hyper dense star cluster", so obviously it does'nt cover a large "volume" of space, and thus should appears really small on a galactic map.
>>43556813
The problem with this, as always, is scale. I would agree that a billion worlds is actually more reasonable with the Imperium, but with Sautekh there, you'd have to have his 500 worlds spread out so far, to have that painted zone be reasonable.
I really just wish Geedubs would unfuck their scaling. Imperial guard regiments just being a couple thousand soldiers, and space marines just being 1,000 soldiers is horrible.
>>43552129
Holy terra looks fucked.
If those necrons realise how important it is.
>>43558275
>If those necrons realise how important it is.
It is a galaxy wide gellar field. Why the hell would Necrons ever try to destroy that.
The hell is a vil?
