With a recent story event in my campaign, I am looking for some undead art for new characters and/or custom content.
Ok
Anyone have any stitched undead?

KILL THEE NOISEEE
If this thread is still up in 12 hours, I will max out the image limit.
I don't have much but I'll post from mobile.

This is all I have that is clearly undead.

I have seen a few images of necromancers or summoners which include bells. Any particular significance or meaning for these bells?
Understandably, I can imagine the bell of lost souls as being a link, but is there any mythology around bells and the dead?
>>43519549
I was actually inspired by that picture to come up with an NPC concept.
Basically an undead knight made out of deer and other animal parts by a good aligned necromancer. Mostly just a researcher and using healing spells, but he could create undead.
So when his town was threatened he cobbled together a warrior out of random animal bones, animated it and sent it forth.
The undead knight won, but wandered off aimlessly afterward, now wandering the lands with a somewhat limited programming to be a stalwart hero and valiant knight but beginning existence without much deeper understanding of the world or why what he does really matters.
Basically a fantasy equivalent of a combat drone going rogue and having to find purpose in an existence that was never supposed to last beyond one battle before being shut down.
>>43519614
I believe this case is specifically concept art from Bloodborne.
In the context of that game you use bells to summon player allies and she can summon player invaders in turn.
Probably not the answer you were wanting though.
>>43519614
>>43519943
If you wanted to use it, have it be an artifact whose sound is not heard in this world, but another.
You ring it and roll the dice to see what kind of undead spirit comes to see what the noise is.
>>43519614
Whenever I see bells and undead/necromancers I'm instantly reminded of Garth Nix's Old Kingdom Trilogy. In that universe necromancers primarily use sound and magical bells to dominate the dead.
>>43519614
I think it's an extension of "waking the dead", where death is seen as a sleep from which the necromancer awakens them. People typically wake up from noise, in this case, a magical bell.
There's also the story of how people used to be buried with a long pipe extending from their coffin to the soil above with a string that led to a bell. If people were mistakenly buried alive, the bell could be rung to notify the cemetery keeper.
A lovely creepypasta was written around this concept where a gravedigger hears such a bell, goes to the grave, but upon seeing the date of death as being decades ago, he simply says "nice try" and walks away.
hey buddy.
can someone help me out and please post that image of a demonic suit of armor scraping his axe against some cell bars, he also has a big book on his belt

Here you go.
>>43520399

>i have a DnD session in a few hours and i could have sworn i saved this
>>43519805
I might steal this idea for my game. Here's some necromancer art as an apology.

Anyone have skeletons wearing armor but with perhaps flames or other necrotic energy looking effects leaking through the armor?
What about Sci-fi undead?
>>43523177
I've a few
>>43523299
First one looked better in the thumbnail
>>43523323
Oh, well actually most of my skeletons are exuding energy from their appendages or weapons.
You want any of that?

It's only shit tier protestants that take Genesis literally, anon.
>>43523465
That was from the Buffy the Vampire Slayer comic book
No really
Anybody got mummies or egyptian themed undead?
>>43524740
If I was undead, I would use some of my magic to keep my pearly whites, and glue mint leaves in my skull.

Posting more regular undead.

>>43524913
If by flesh demon you mean a horrible amalgamation of a zombie constructed of various bits and bobs from the last half dozen people the necromancer killed, then yes.

I love that the Fire Skeleton is attacking the Purple Skeleton for being an edgy overachiever
>>43524992
I've always wanted to make a skeleton character that's crumbling to dust, but I don't know how I'd make it effective
>>43525021
Ogres and giants are people too Anon.
>>43525063
As a PC? Can't help you. As a monster, make it release puffs of poisonous bone powder every time it gets hit, with a huge blast of the shit when it finally dies.
>>43525074
Pic related.
>>43525100
Can this be heroic skeleton thread now?
>>43525168
Needs more skellies.
>>43525191
Once had a WoW Forsaken Warrior that used to be a Paladin when they were alive.
Transferred the concept into a DnD character and became one of my favorite characters every

Mein friend. I can't figure out why the idea of a chill warrior dude who is brought back by his god or just by some cosmic accident isn't more popular. Skeletons as minions and villains is fine, but if that's all a skeleton can be...
this lich a best.

"You are strong. But I am beyond strength." is one of my favorite BBEG lines from anything ever
>>43528268
The incredibly calm but stern delivery is what sells it. Give that line to a JRPG villain and it turns to hamfisted shit.

It's like you think the two are mutually exclusive or something anon.

Don't know if any art exists, but I'll try anyway.
Transparent or nearly invisible humans with fully visible skeletons underneath, preferably ethereal or with an aura
