why is nobody downloading? I just wanna share. Damn. SO much time to dump them and pack them all.

Mostly no. Sometimes a specific version of MAME will fix a bug in a specific ROM, but mostly you can just run any semi-recent MAME with any ROM.

Stuck at 99% with about 2MB yet to be completed. Yet when I look through the file list I can't see anything that is not at 100%.

any chance someone could organize those 120397858901273 mame games into genres or by company that made them, etc.? 40+GB is a big thing for my 500GB HDD :|
