Old one from May? That not-Lulu I made is still my single best model I ever made.

But I'm still so worn out from all that Hook5 texture modding. Haven't touched the game in over a month. Still don't feel like doing so now, even though I saw veryslow coming up with a new body. I don't remember feeling this exhausted during Hook4 era though.

What happened to the threads? Recently it often dies before even reaching image cap.

Does anyone know of any good mid length skirts? All of TK17's base mesh ones are short as hell and barely cover a girl's ass. Most of the mods that do add longers skirts are super long ones that go to the floor nearly, I kind of just want a nice knee length skirt.

Yeah, not being able to edit animation at least as easy as TK17 is a huge deal breaker.

Without it, most people will get bored with the game very soon. If Illusion could put together everything in Honey Select plus an animation editor, way more people would flock on the game, and dare I say, even take out some hardcore TK17 enthusiasts away.

forget that mod manager, Its better to get over the hump learning to do things manually. Trust me, it will be better for you in the long run.

Drop the models folder in tk17\Save\Models.

If they still don't show up, another way, (and what i do, as i likely wont use the model):

copy the contents inside the model folder and paste them into
tk17\Community\Customizer\Customization0001

When your ingame go to the customizer (that blue room) Click the folder icon near the top right.
From the popup click Community (0001) and the model will load.

Its great doing it this way as you wont have to exit the game to try different models, just either overwrite whats in Customization0001 or put the next model in Customization0002 etc..

Also from the popup box is a dropdown list at the right, default is load all, but can can load only face or clothes etc...

Whenever I start Tk17 from VerySlow's repack the game immediately crashes is there something I should know?

Can some explain the _bump folder. Do all bump files i every get go into this one folder all moxed in one big folder then the other mod files go in the mod folder i their downloaded sub folder?

Or do you make sub bump folders with the individual bumls files separated for individual items similar to the file structure of the actove mod folder.

Might be wasier if someone could please post pics of their bump folder and the related mod files of anything just so i can see the structure.

I downloaded the repack and the game crashes every time in every mode when it tries to load models. I tried like 30 different models. Using directx and tried different graphics options and running TK17_Launcher and TK17-114.001 from the binaries folder. Any help please

hook5 can run on a toaster as long as you don't jack up the shadow map resolution to 8k and blur iterations above 3-4. It also won't look as great, but thankfully the customization options are there.

I'm downloading characters from modsgarden, but must of them use a character base that I don't have, so they don't appear.
I'm now editing their base file to 0035 every time, but what really does this do? Are they going to appear very different? I don't mind if the body is different since I adjust that anyway, I mostly care about the face. I do pay attention to download characters made for the face mod I'm using, does the body ID have any effect here?

be sure to use the right one with the model you download off the garden

the model Base.id file contains the code number for a specific body mod. Some tool like EFMS or TKcustombody allow you to create multiple bases with your custom body AND face.

mine is a 2008 laptop and I can barely go to 1024x768 windowed with hook4 shadow 2000 @15fps , no dx 11 libraries
what fucks me up is that I have only 4 GB of RAM, one of which is filled with WinVista OS juice.
I literally cannot use any newer room that is over 6 MB is size.

I'm saving money for my 120 fps TKPC...

Base ID does change the face of a model, including how a face mod .txx will turn out. It refers to a default model, and all of them have unique facial "morphs" that can't be changed in the customizer. The goons at MG sure didn't have any problem using their 1070s/1080s, and I too faced problems with this game when I upgraded my GPU halfassedly even though other games have no problem whatsoever.

Is it possible to concatenate an animation with another pose's animation? So I have pose1 and pose2 which are both animations, and I want to make a pose3 which first plays pose1 and then continues with pose2.

if you open the keyline whatever is called (that window with all the dots), you can copy everything from one character then load another pose and paste it.
Then do the same with the other character (if the pose has 2, or 3 persons).

2) you select one Model (let's say Green, every model has its colour, blue, gree and red)
3) now you highlight/select every dot that is used by that character in that window (I think ctrl+click should work, maybe even select dragging)
4) you paste it , and it will simply make a copy of that animation somewhere on the timeline whenre you have chosen to paste it.

you can also do this to copy/paste an animation to another animation.

TK17 is already far better than Honey Select, unless you really like the semi-anime look.

As you said, the only thing HS has is better cloth morphs and joint movements. Shoulders are especially awful in TK.

Their are mods that add hundreds of sliders to HS, realistic faces CAN be achieved. In TK only blank faces look good, any emotion other than sad and the face gets all downs syndrome.

This just simply isn't true. Lighting mods in HS give total control over lighting, and is far easier to set up 3 point lighting.

I've been with TK for years and i hate to say it but HS blows this once amazing game out of the water. Long load times, crashes, shitty low polly models that don't bend right, crap fps, cloth clipping, and paying pervjew for his shitty hair physics are all things of the past thanks to HS.

Even the advanced ik mod is too limited, manipulating the camera and gizmos is bollocks, and you lack even the most basic control over certain body parts (hands, face bones, eye direction, etc).

I'm playing both atm, and I would absolutely migrate to HS exclusively if such a tool existed, but for now tk17 is the go-to place to deal with specific or complex posing needs

Go to Character State scroll past the clothes options and you'll find the tools to control the eye/head position, eye pattern and mouth pattern cover the entire spectrum of emotions, hand pattern has many presets, and several more options that I also thought were lacking.

It only works for two characters.
You make a perfect clone of the character you want to go cross-eyed and edit the eyes of both identical characters so that each one has only one eye, the mod allows you to edit the size and position of the eyes, so you move them inside the head of the models.
You should be left with a character with only a right eye and a perfect clone of it with only the left eye.

Now, inside the pose editor you import the pose you want to both characters, since they are exactly the same, they will clip inside eachother perfectly except for the eyes. Then you move the eyes of one character into one direction and the other in the other direction.

You can also make ahegao faces and heterochromia with this.
Huge work, but hey, working with what I got.
