When you add a torrent to qbittorrent does a popup shows up asking you where do you want it to be saved?
If it does there you have the torrent "Content" with a checkbox on every item.

OP, could you activate SuperSeed mode?
That way your client will seed each chunk only once until all chunks have been received by at least one client, only then will it start to seed normally.
