You are welcome.
How are those supposed to be used?
>>729665
You add them to the tracker list of torrents in your torrent client, so you can add the people on those trackers to your pool of peers. That means more sources for faster downloading, and better seeding once it's downloaded.
>>729668
how do I do this permanently without having to copy and paste every time for every torrent?
>>729695
Use a torrent client that adds all the trackers to newly added torrents (iirc qBittorrent and Tixati have this feature, dunno about others), and start using Google.
>>729883
I use qBittorrent

Just be careful if you also use any private trackers, adding public trackers to private torrents will probably get you banned off the private one.

>Public Trackers
Does it really matter? DHT is ubiquitous these days.
>>729891
Well, of course. Although I am uncertain of how the admins of private trackers want to find out if I'm using a public tracker, as this information shouldn't be necessarily submitted to the private tracker. (except fucked up bandwidth stats of course, if the torrent is heavily frequented with public trackers)
I'd be glad if you'd enlighten me.

Not the anon you replied to but...
If you're just adding public trackers to a private tracker's torrent, then that's strictly prohibited. Your torrent client is constantly broadcasting how much it's uploading/downloading to all the trackers, so it'll create a discrepancy in what's being reported to the private tracker which is considered ratio cheating.

what was that image from?
Kat can be accessed through http://archive.org/web/, just put an old link and you'll get something like this https://web.archive.org/web/20150624180316/http://kat.cr/pluralsight-cissp-physical-environmental-security-sweeti-t10028661.html
Download all you can and place magnets here.

That's impressive.
Anyone using transmission daemon? I want to add all these trackers by a script, how do I it?
Is it a good idea if I add all the trackers to all the torrents?
I added a lot (and I mean a lot) through a script I made.
>>735399
Well, the more trackers you have added to the torrents, the more announces are being sent to those trackers, meaning that some bandwidth is lost for all the announces. This gets visible at slower download/upload rates.
Bump for useful thread
