It has plenty of image files as well as a few audio files. Not to mention like a hundred different characters to chose from and about a hundred variations on each character.

Although the last one I played was 2.something all of this information could be horribly out of date by now.

Yeah, there's an average of 2-3 pictures for every sex/training act you can do with each girl, along with a few hundred or so generic event pictures for all the various locations. Also some menu/interface graphics. All in all it comes out to over 1700 images in version 3.3.

I like the game, and it's admirable how much it's expanded over time, but the biggest problem is that people who develop slaves don't spend nearly enough time on unique content.

There are some really interesting ideas, like Musashi (Jessie) from Pokemon having a training option where she goes out and captures creatures, or being able to find Dragonballs during Bulma's training, but the sad fact is that almost none of them are properly finished, let alone polished, and most of the girls only have the bare vanilla training options.

In short, if you haven't touched it before and you like the trainer genre of games, it's fantastic, but if you've played in the last few years and you're looking for much in the way of new content, you're SOL.

Is there a storyline/plot/narrative to this or is it just clicking different training buttons to view pics?

It is a Princess Maker style game. Manage stats through training schedules and shit and get a certain ending when you hit the time limit.

The pictures are derp anyway. Random ass collection of images from all sorts of sources. Incohesive as hell.

Jack-O-Nine basically had the "avatars" for your slave that didn't actually effect the images of the sex scenes.

Now having played it I'd say that it's good enough, it's got depth in some ways JoN doesn't, but JoN has a lot of depth in other areas that this game lacks.

Both of them are pretty good...

If I compared them to normal game genres Jack of Nine is more like a business sim, and this is more dating sim. This focuses a bit more on the girl, the interactions, and your own character.

Jack of Nine is more trying to balance a lessened version of this game with more complicated economy, and relies way less on the writing (considering the game is written by people speaking English as a third language that's not surprising.)

Though this game definitely has a lot of variety in the girls, JoN tries to make the avatars have "some" cohesion, this game has art styles from all over, from MLP, catgirls, furries, lolis, to busty, to sporty, to stronk.

So if you're more into a variety of girls I'd pick this one, if you're into a bit more into the RPG aspects then Jack o Nine probably does it better.

Just don't train ponies. Then again if a few pictures turn you off a text adventure, then you probably are going to hate it anyway.
