thank you so much, I've given up on piratebay and that's all I've ever known so I'm lost in finding complete discographies oh bands I listen to. Where else can one find discographies of the sort?

No idea personally. there was a bomb-ass discography thread on /t/ a few months ago where I got David Bowie, Crystal Castles, Pink Floyd, Radiohead, deadmau5 and others, but most of that is gone from my pc now.

Which is why I started this thread. If anybody wishes to contribute, even if it is only a few albums, I will encourage them greatly. I plan to contribute more myself, though I don't have many other artists' complete discographies.

Use FLAC. Seriously. You shave off 40-60 % off the size, get error detection, and also the small bonus of artist, title etc tags in the file.

Can you recommend a program to rip FLAC? The only lossless formats I can currently rip are ALAC, WMA, and WAV
